This paper examines the contribution of payment banks as new banking model to the cashless economy. The study about the cashless economy is important in emerging or developing countries where many factors become hurdles to cashless economy. The main reason for conducting the research is absence of experimental exploration with respect to the connection between the payment banks and cashless economy. In this Research Study, the survey done on 460 respondents from different areas and profile like below poverty line (BPL) people; who live in rural region of the country, work in unorganized sectors, remote area, the outcomes proof that the factors of payment bank like banking model, technological awareness, customer security, cost of payment and growth of infrastructure were found to have a solid critical relationship with the cashless economy. This finding will help to other developing nation's future towards cashless with the help of payment banks. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
