In order to ensure the long-term reliability and safety of power transformers, it is important to continuously monitor the characteristics of insulating oil, which not only helps in understanding its behavior over time but also ensures the safety of the equipment. The current study analyzes in-service insulating oil with the aim of relating deterioration and changes in the oil with service aging. Insulating oil samples were collected from three power transformers, with a voltage level of 220 kV and 132 kV, installed at a 220 kV substation. Electrical and chemical characteristics were obtained, and the impact of service aging and the relationships among load variation, oil, and winding temperatures with the characteristics were evaluated. Variations in the dielectric dissipation factor and breakdown voltage with service aging were recorded for all transformers, while the moisture content increased with each service year. Among the concentrations of gases present in the insulating oil, carbon monoxide, oxygen, and nitrogen concentrations increased after each service year. The impact of load variation on the breakdown voltage of the 132 kV transformer oil was more prominent than for the 220 kV transformers. The analysis of gas ratios and moisture content identified the degradation of cellulose insulation in all transformers, which was due to the presence of electrical faults.

Mobile phones are increasingly becoming part of the daily life of today's youth. This widespread usage of mobile technology has attracted the attention of researchers and academicians to explore the ways and means of using it in formal and informal education. This study investigates the mobile phone's ownership pattern and usage among undergraduate university students in Pakistan. Moreover, students' choice of mobile service provider is explored. The objective of this study is to investigate m-learning potential among university students and their perceptions towards this emerging learning technology. Quantitative data is collected by means of a survey in which 320 undergraduate students enrolled in four academic disciplines (business, engineering, arts and medicine) participated. SPSS software is used for data analysis. Primarily, descriptive statistics (frequencies, percentages, and pie and line charts) are used for describing the data on different attributes obtained from the questionnaire. In addition, to check the significant difference between the students' perception towards m-learning, ANOVA followed by the Post Hoc Tucky test was used. The results indicate that, overall, students have a very positive attitude towards m-learning; however, the perceptions of Arts and Engineering students were found significantly different from those of Medical and Business students. The results of this study have practical implications for the policy-makers, educators and developers of m-learning programs, specifically in the case of developing countries.

Objective The study was aimed at the synthesis and pharmacological investigation of (4Z)-4-(2-hydroxybenzylidine)-5-methyl-2-(pyridine-3-ylcarbonyl)-2, 4-dihydro-3H-pyrazole-3-one (IIc) in mice model of scopolamine-induced neurodegeneration and cognition impairment. Methods The behavioural studies included Y-Maze Test, Water Morris Test, and Novel Object Recognition Test in Albino mice (20–25 g). Scopalamine was used as an inducing agent. The acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitory assay was used to assess the role of the test compounds in vitro. The Crystal Violet Staining (Nissl staining) was used to assess the neuroprotective and antiapoptotic effect through quantifying the number of neurons and viability. The expression of the anti-inflammatory enzyme cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), cytokine tumour necrotic factor (TNF-α), key transcription factor producing pro-inflammatory signals nuclear factor kappa B (P-NFkB), and apoptosis marker p-JNK was validated through enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and immunohistochemical (IHC) analysis. The tested compound reverted cognitive and behavioural impairment through inhibiting scopolamine-induced inflammation and oxidative stress. Key findings We found that the compound IIc improved the short-term memory and learning behaviour of the experimental animals. Further investigation into molecular mechanisms showed that this effect was the manifestation of immunomodulatory, antioxidant, and consequently, of downsizing of inflammatory cytokines. These results were further validated through docking analysis. Conclusion Finally, we conclude that the pyrazolone-nicotinic acid derivative IIc reversed the scopolamine-induced cognitive and behavioural deficits, attributed to acetylcholinesterase inhibition, neuronal recovery, antioxidant potential, and through downregulating the neuroinflammatory mediators p-NF-kB, cytokine TNF-α, and anti-inflammatory enzyme COX-2. Objective: The objective of this study was to determine the attitude of physical therapy and speech language pathology students toward persons with disability. Study Design: Descriptive analytical Place and Duration of Study: From 1 July to 31 December 2014 at Riphah College of Rehabilitation Sciences, Riphah International University Islamabad. Materials and Methods: A sample of 246 (81 post graduate, 145 under graduate and 20 Speech language pathologists) was recruited through purposive sampling. Both gender and willing students were included in study. The standard tool for attitude toward disabled person (ATDP), A & B performa was circulated to all participations. Brief demographic information was included and finally statistical analysis was drawn through SPSS-20. Results: The mean age of under graduate, post graduate physiotherapy students and speech language pathologists was 22.3±3.12, 25.7±2.81 and 27.6±27 years respectively. This case study aims to analyze the efficiency of the guided internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy (iCBT) in treating postpartum depression (PPD) of a 29-year-old primiparous woman with moderate symptoms of sadness, guilt, and fatigue (EPDS: 17; GAD-7: 11). The client went through a standard iCBT program that was comprised of psychoeducation, behavioral activation, cognitive restructuring, mindfulness, problem-solving, self-compassion, and relapse prevention for client over eight weeks with weekly therapist guided therapy sessions. Clients showed significant improvement in symptoms of depression and anxiety in Post intervention assessment (EPDS: 6; GAD: 4). The flexibility of programs, well-structured content and therapist support during online sessions facilitated the engagement of client and highlighted the potential of iCBT as an accessible and effective treatment for PPD. This case shows that there is a need to conduct more research on the effectiveness of the treatment eventually to explore the possibility of implementing iCBT as an integral part of maternal mental health care. Anxiety disorders are most common disorders among mental health issues; they are characterized by feelings of tension, worrisome thoughts and physical changes due to an unknown fear which could be real or anticipated. This case study highlights the psychological concerns of 37 years old married male client, who was suffering from panic and anxiety symptoms. He sought help for the panic, death anxiety and the physical symptoms of palpitation. This study is based on the application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which provided the basic necessary tools for the reduction of panic and anxiety symptoms. The effectiveness of the CBT technique echoed lessening of symptoms and asserted the success of therapy. The case study validated that the CBT techniques are very effective and helpful in reduction of panic and anxiety symptoms. This would help the professionals working in mental health sector to better understand the effectiveness of CBT techniques, to reduce the knowledge gap and help them to make better treatment modifications. Abstract The study aimed to determine the effect of two aphid species; Lipaphis erysimi (Kaltenbach) and Aphis gossypii Glover (Hemiptera: Aphididae) on life table and demographic parameters of Hippodamia convergens Gu`erin-M´eneville (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae). The developmental period of all life stages of H. convergens was shorter when fed on L. erysimi. Net reproductive rate (R o) was higher (159.85 offspring/individual) on L. erysimi, while it was 87.85 offspring/individual on A. gossypii. Mean generation time (T) was shorter (30.49 d) on L. erysimi than on A. gossypii (45.1 days). Values of the intrinsic rate of increase (r) and finite rate of increase (λ) were calculated as 0.166 days−1 and 1.181 days−1, respectively, on L. erysimi that were higher than on A. gossypii (0.099 days−1 and 1.104 days−1, respectively). Similarly, the survival rate was also higher when the predator was fed on L. erysimi. Overall, the findings suggest using L. erysimi as a better source of prey than A. gossypii for rearing H. convergens.

Hydrogen (H2) is being acknowledged as the future energy carrier due to its high energy density and potential to mitigate the intermittency of other renewable energy sources. H2 also ensures a clean, carbon‐neutral, and sustainable environment for current and forthcoming generations by contributing to the global missions of decarbonization in the transportation, industrial, and building sectors. Several H2 storage technologies are available and have been employed for its secure and economical transport. The existing H2 storage and transportation technologies like liquid‐state, cryogenic, or compressed hydrogen are in use but still suffer from significant challenges regarding successful realization at the commercial level. These factors affect the overall operational cost of technology. Therefore, H2 storage demands novel technologies that are safe for mobility, transportation, long‐term storage, and yet it is cost‐effective. This review article presents potential opportunities for H2 storage technologies, such as physical and chemical storage. The prime characteristics and requirements of H2 storage are briefly explained. A detailed discussion of chemical‐based hydrogen storage systems such as metal hydrides, chemical hydrides (CH3OH, NH3, and HCOOH), and liquid organic hydrogen carriers (LOHCs) is presented. Climate change, caused by both natural and human activities, poses significant threats to global health, including rising temperatures, extreme weather events, and environmental disruptions. The One Health concept, emphasizing the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health, is crucial in addressing these challenges. Climate change is linked to the emergence and resurgence of infectious diseases, resulting in substantial economic losses worldwide due to outbreaks, floods, and disrupted trade, among other factors. Therefore, it is crucial to adapt to this changing climate to safeguard One Health. By implementing a One Health approach, we can effectively address the consequences of climate change and make substantial contributions to health and food safety. This approach also holds the potential to mitigate economic losses, particularly in low and middle-income countries. Vaccines are important component of public health programs worldwide and are considered as essential tools for the control, prevention and/or eradication of infectious diseases. The continuous spread of Novel Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) poses severe threat to the global economy and human health. To combat the COVID-19 pandemic, the large-scale production and availability of mRNA-based vaccinations remains a major challenge, particularly when recurrent mutations take place on the virus. This review study compares the Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna vaccines with regard to their pharmacology, side effects, indications and contraindications. The data for this literature review were collected from various databases, including PubMed, Google Scholar, EMBASE, and US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) using the key words: Coronavirus, COVID-19 pandemic, vaccination, Moderna vaccine and Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine. Published literature showed that both the vaccines are useful in terms of protection from SARS-CoV-2 infections. People aged 16 years or older were recommended to get vaccinated with 30 μg (0.3 m) dose of Pfizer/ BioNTech Vaccine. It is 95% effective for the prevention of SARS-CoV-2 infection. Moreover, Moderna vaccine has been recommended with 50 μg (0.5 mL) dose having 94.5% effectiveness for 18 years and older individuals. Both the vaccines after first dose provide immunogenicity for at least 119 days. Published studies reported less frequent side effects in the Pfizer/BioNTech as compared to the Moderna vaccine for COVID-19. However, Moderna vaccine is less sensitive to temperature and can easily be transported compared to Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
