Magneto-optical techniques have become essential tools in spintronics, enabling the investigation of spin dynamics in the ultrafast regime. A key challenge in this field has been to accurately isolate the contributions to magneto-optical signals of spin transport phenomena from the local magnetization dynamics. The contribution of transported and accumulated spins was long believed to be orders of magnitude smaller than that of the magnetization and thus previous approaches to disentangle these signals have relied on specific experimental designs, usually including thick metal layers. Here, we present experimental evidence demonstrating that the magneto-optical signal from ultrafast spin accumulations can, under certain conditions, be comparable to or even exceed that of the magnetic layer in a standard ultrafast demagnetization experiment. Our findings provide a new framework for accessing and isolating these spin accumulations, allowing for time and depth dependent probing of transported spin and/or orbital angular momentum.

Single pulse All Optical Helicity-Independent Switching is demonstrated in an in-plane magnetized magnetic tunnel junction. A toggle switching of the 2nm thick Co40Fe40B20 soft layer could be achieved by exchange coupling the Co40Fe40B20 with a 10nm thick Co85Gd15 layer monitored by measuring the Tunnel magneto resistance of the device. The use of in plane magnetized electrodes relaxes the constrains linked to perpendicular magnetic anisotropy systems while achieving a tunneling magnetoresistance (TMR) ratio exceeding 100%. This paper contains a study on stochastic Volterra integral equations with fuzzy sets-values and involving on a constant retardation. Moreover, the form of the equation is symmetric in the sense that fuzzy stochastic integrals are placed on both sides of the equation. We show that the considered initial value problem formulated in terms of symmetric fuzzy stochastic Volterra integral equation is well-posed. In particular, we show that there exists a unique solution and this solution depends continuously on the parameters of the equation. We present a novel protocol for high-fidelity qubit state preparation and measurement (SPAM) that combines standard SPAM methods with a series of in-sequence measurements to detect and remove errors. The protocol can be applied in any quantum system with a long-lived (metastable) level and a means to detect population outside of this level without coupling to it. We demonstrate the use of the protocol for three different qubit encodings in a single trapped $^{137}\mathrm{Ba}^+$ ion. For all three, we achieve the lowest reported SPAM infidelities of $7(4) \times 10^{-6}$ (optical qubit), $5(4) \times 10^{-6}$ (metastable-level qubit), and $8(4) \times 10^{-6}$ (ground-level qubit).

All-optical switching (AOS) involves manipulating magnetization using only pulsed laser, presenting a promising approach for next-generation magnetic recording devices. NiCo2O4 (NCO) thin films, a rare-earth-free ferrimagnetic oxide, exhibit a high Curie temperature and strong perpendicular magnetic anisotropy. This study demonstrates AOS in NCO thin films at room temperature using long-duration laser pulses and high repetition rates. Unlike previous findings, the AOS phenomena we report here are helicity-dependent and observable with an ultrashort pulsed laser. The central challenge of quantum computing is implementing high-fidelity quantum gates at scale. However, many existing approaches to qubit control suffer from a scale-performance trade-off, impeding progress towards the creation of useful devices. Here, we present a vision for an electronically controlled trapped-ion quantum computer that alleviates this bottleneck. Our architecture utilizes shared current-carrying traces and local tuning electrodes in a microfabricated chip to perform quantum gates with low noise and crosstalk regardless of device size. To verify our approach, we experimentally demonstrate low-noise site-selective single- and two-qubit gates in a seven-zone ion trap that can control up to 10 qubits. We implement electronic single-qubit gates with 99.99916(7)% fidelity, and demonstrate consistent performance with low crosstalk across the device. We also electronically generate two-qubit maximally entangled states with 99.97(1)% fidelity and long-term stable performance over continuous system operation. These state-of-the-art results validate the path to directly scaling these techniques to large-scale quantum computers based on electronically controlled trapped-ion qubits.

Single pulse all-optical switching of magnetization (AOS) in Co/Gd based synthetic ferrimagnets carries promises for hybrid spintronic-photonic integration. A crucial next step progressing towards this vision is to gain insight into AOS and multi-domain state (MDS) behavior using longer pulses, which is compatible with state-of-the-art integrated photonics. In this work, we present our studies on the AOS and MDS of [Co/Gd]n (n = 1, 2) using ps optical pulses across a large composition range. We theoretically and experimentally show that a large Gd layer thickness can enhance the AOS energy efficiency and maximum pulse duration. We have identified two augmenting roles of Gd in extending the maximum pulse duration. On the inter-atomic level, we found that more Gd offers a prolonged angular momentum supply to Co. On the micromagnetic level, a higher Gd content brings the system to be closer to magnetic compensation in the equilibrized hot state, thereby reducing the driving force for thermally assisted nucleation of domain walls, combating the formation of a MDS. Our study presents a composition overview of AOS in [Co/Gd]n and offers useful physical insights regarding AOS fundamentals as well as the projected photonic integration.

We investigated photon-helicity-induced magnetization precession in Co$_{1-x}$Pt$_{x}$ alloy thin films. In addition to field-like torque, attributable to magnetic field generation owing to {\it the inverse Faraday effect}, we observed non-trivial and large damping-like torque which has never been discussed for single ferromagnetic layer. The composition dependence of those two torques is effectively elucidated by a model that considers mutual coupling via spin-orbit interaction between magnetization and the electronic orbital angular momentum generated by photon-helicity. Capillary forces guide the motion of biomolecular condensates, water-borne insects, and breakfast cereal. These surface-mediated interactions can be harnessed to build units into materials with exotic properties deriving from mesoscale structure. Droplets are promising building blocks for these materials, finding applications in tissue engineering, adaptive optics, and structural colour. However, the instability of water droplets at many liquid-liquid interfaces hampers the use of capillarity for the assembly of droplet-based materials. Here, we use nanoparticle surfactants to form solid-like oil-water interfaces at which aqueous droplets sit for extended periods. We find that microlitre-sized droplets at these interfaces attract each other over millimetric scales. We rationalize this interaction with a modified theory of capillarity. Applying printing methods allows us to finely control initial droplet positions, from which they self-assemble into cellular materials. Finally, by functionalising the interface with gold nanoparticles, we use plasmon-assisted optofluidics to manipulate these droplet-based materials with temperature gradients., Comment: 14 pages, 5 figures, 7 supplementary figures

We propose a method for estimating disparity confidence intervals in stereo matching problems. Confidence intervals provide complementary information to usual confidence measures. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first method creating disparity confidence intervals based on the cost volume. This method relies on possibility distributions to interpret the epistemic uncertainty of the cost volume. Our method has the benefit of having a white-box nature, differing in this respect from current state-of-the-art deep neural networks approaches. The accuracy and size of confidence intervals are validated using the Middlebury stereo datasets as well as a dataset of satellite images. This contribution is freely available on GitHub.

Uniaxial strain has been widely used as a powerful tool for investigating and controlling the properties of quantum materials. However, existing strain techniques have so far mostly been limited to use with bulk crystals. Although recent progress has been made in extending the application of strain to two-dimensional van der Waals (vdW) heterostructures, these techniques have been limited to optical characterization and extremely simple electrical device geometries. Here, we report a piezoelectric-based \textit{in situ} uniaxial strain technique enabling simultaneous electrical transport and optical spectroscopy characterization of dual-gated vdW heterostructure devices. Critically, our technique remains compatible with vdW heterostructure devices of arbitrary complexity fabricated on conventional silicon/silicon dioxide wafer substrates. We demonstrate a large and continuously tunable strain of up to $-0.15\%$ at millikelvin temperatures, with larger strain values also likely achievable. We quantify the strain transmission from the silicon wafer to the vdW heterostructure, and further demonstrate the ability of strain to modify the electronic properties of twisted bilayer graphene. We report on the quantum photon statistics of hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) quantum emitters by analyzing the Mandel Q parameter. We have measured the Mandel Q parameter for h-BN quantum emitters under various temperatures and pump power excitation conditions. Under pulsed excitation we can achieve a Mandel Q of -0.002 and under continuous-wave (CW) excitation this parameter can reach -0.0025. We investigate the effect of cryogenic temperatures on Mandel Q and conclude that the photon statistics vary weakly with temperature. Through calculation of spontaneous emission from an excited two-level emitter model, we demonstrate good agreement between measured and calculated Mandel Q parameter when accounting for the experimental photon collection efficiency. Finally, we illustrate the usefulness of Mandel Q in quantum applications by the example of random number generation and analyze the effect of Mandel Q on the speed of generating random bits via this method., Comment: Main text: 22 pages, 8 figures, 1 table. This paper presents a study on the implementation of the author's Algorithm of Recommendation Sessions (ARS) in an operational e-commerce information system and analyses the basic parameters of the resulting recommendation system. It begins with a synthetic overview of recommendation systems, followed by a presentation of the proprietary ARS algorithm, which is based on recommendation sessions. A mathematical model of the recommendation session, constructed using graph and network theory, serves as the input for the ARS algorithm. This paper also explores graph structure representation methods and the implementation of a G graph (representing a set of recommendation sessions) in a relational database using the SQL standard. The ARS algorithm was implemented in a working e-commerce information system, leading to the development of a fully functional recommendation system adaptable to various e-commerce IT systems. The effectiveness of the algorithm is demonstrated by research on the recommendation system's parameters presented in the final section of the paper.

Large Language Models (LLMs) demonstrate ever-increasing abilities in mathematical and algorithmic tasks, yet their geometric reasoning skills are underexplored. We investigate LLMs' abilities in constructive geometric problem-solving one of the most fundamental steps in the development of human mathematical reasoning. Our work reveals notable challenges that the state-of-the-art LLMs face in this domain despite many successes in similar areas. LLMs exhibit biases in target variable selection and struggle with 2D spatial relationships, often misrepresenting and hallucinating objects and their placements. To this end, we introduce a framework that formulates an LLMs-based multi-agents system that enhances their existing reasoning potential by conducting an internal dialogue. Multiplexed operations and extended coherent control over multiple trapping sites are fundamental requirements for a trapped-ion processor in a large scale architecture. Here we demonstrate these building blocks using a surface-electrode trap with integrated photonic components which are scalable to larger numbers of zones. We implement a Ramsey sequence using the integrated light in two zones, separated by 375 $\mu$m, performing transport of the ion from one zone to the other in 200 $\mu$s between pulses. In order to achieve low motional excitation during transport, we developed techniques to measure and mitigate the effect of the exposed dielectric surfaces used to deliver the integrated light to the ion. We also demonstrate simultaneous control of two ions in separate zones with low optical crosstalk, and use this to perform simultaneous spectroscopy to correlate field noise between the two sites. In the article we investigate three classes of extended Boolean Connexive Logics. Two of them are extensions of Modal and non-Modal Boolean Connexive Logics with a property of closure under an arbitrary number of negations. The remaining one is an extension of Modal Boolean Connexive Logic with a property of closure under the function of demodalization. In our work we provide a formal presentation of mentioned properties and axiom schemata that allow us to incorporate them into Hilbert-style calculi. The presented axiomatic systems are provided with proofs of soundness, completeness, and decidability. The properties of closure under negation and demodalization are motivated by the syncategorematic view on the connectives of negation and modalities, which is discussed in the paper.

We have investigated the laser induced ultrafast dynamics of Gd 4f spins at the surface of CoxGd100-x alloys by means of surface-sensitive and time-resolved dichroic resonant Auger spectroscopy. We have observed that the laser induced quenching of Gd 4f magnetic order at the surface of the CoxGd100-x alloys occur on a much longer time scale than that previously reported in bulk sensitive time-resolved experiments. In parallel, we have characterized the static structural and magnetic properties at the surface and in the bulk of these alloys by combining Physical Property Measurement System (PPMS) magnetometry with X-ray Magnetic Circular Dichroism in absorption spectroscopy (XMCD) and X-Ray Photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The PPMS and XMCD measurements give information regarding the composition in the bulk of the alloys. The XPS measurements show non-homogeneous composition at the surface of the alloys with a strongly increased Gd content within the first layers compared to the nominal bulk values. Such larger Gd concentration results in a reduced indirect Gd 4f spin-lattice coupling. It explains the slower Gd 4f demagnetization we have observed in our surface-sensitive and time-resolved measurements compared to that previously reported by bulk-sensitive measurements., Comment: 15 pages, 8 figures, 1 table

Assume $G$ is a group and $\mathcal{A}$ is an algebra of subsets of $G$ closed under left translation. We study various ways to understand the Ellis group of the $G$-flow $S(\mathcal{A})$ (the Stone space of $\mathcal{A}$), with particular interest in the model-theoretic setting where $G$ is definable in a first order structure $M$ and $\mathcal{A}$ consists of externally definable subsets of $G$. In one part of the thesis we explore strongly generic sets. Maximal algebras of such sets are shown to carry enough information to retrieve the Ellis group. A subset of $G$ is strongly generic if each non-empty Boolean combination of its translates is generic. Trivial examples include what we call *periodic* sets, which are unions of cosets of finite index subgroups of $G$. We give several characterizations of strongly generic sets, in particular, we relate them to almost periodic points of the flow $2^G$. For groups without a smallest finite index subgroup we show how to construct non-periodic strongly generic subsets in a systematic way. When $G$ is definable in a model $M$, a definable, strongly generic subset of $G$ will remain as such in any elementary extension of $M$ only if it is strongly generic in $G$ in an adequately uniform way. Sets satisfying this condition are called *uniformly strongly generic*. We analyse a few examples of these sets in different groups. In the second part we assume that $G$ is a topological group and consider a particular algebra of its subsets denoted $\mathcal{SBP}$. It consists of subsets of $G$ that have the *strong Baire property*, meaning nowhere dense boundary. In this study, we explore the influence of interlayer exchange coupling on magnetization reversal triggered by femtosecond laser pulses in ferromagnetic spin valves. Our experiments, focused on femtosecond laser-induced magnetization reversal, methodically vary the thickness of the copper (Cu) spacer layer. We identify a critical Cu thickness threshold at 2.32 nm. Above this threshold, a stable reversed magnetic domain is consistently generated upon exposure to a single laser pulse. Conversely, with a Cu spacer thinner than 2.32 nm, the observed magnetization reversal from parallel (P) to anti-parallel (AP) states occurs only under continuous laser irradiation. Once the laser is stopped, the magnetic configuration relaxes back to its initial P state, influenced by ferromagnetic exchange coupling. Simulating realistic interaction and motions for physics-based characters is of great interest for interactive applications, and automatic secondary character animation in the movie and video game industries. Recent works in reinforcement learning have proposed impressive results for single character simulation, especially the ones that use imitation learning based techniques. However, imitating multiple characters interactions and motions requires to also model their interactions. In this paper, we propose a novel Multi-Agent Generative Adversarial Imitation Learning based approach that generalizes the idea of motion imitation for one character to deal with both the interaction and the motions of the multiple physics-based characters. Two unstructured datasets are given as inputs: 1) a single-actor dataset containing motions of a single actor performing a set of motions linked to a specific application, and 2) an interaction dataset containing a few examples of interactions between multiple actors. Based on these datasets, our system trains control policies allowing each character to imitate the interactive skills associated with each actor, while preserving the intrinsic style. We use the thickness of Cu layers to control all-optical switching of magnetization in adjacent Gd$_{24}$(Fe$_9$0Co$_{10}$)$_{76}$ films. While increasing the Cu thickness from 5 to 900nm has no effect on the switching threshold, it significantly enlarges the fluence and pulse duration at which multiple domains emerge. Having shown that thermally activated multi-domain formation limits the maximum fluence and pulse duration for controlled switching, we demonstrate that continuous magnetization reversal precedes multi-domain formation in Gd$_{18}$Dy$_4$Co$_{78}$ films excited with fluences slightly larger than the multi-domain threshold.

The discovery of all-optical ultra-fast deterministic magnetization switching has opened up new possibilities for manipulating magnetization in devices using femtosecond laser pulses. Previous studies on single pulse all-optical helicity-independent switching (AO-HIS) have mainly focused on perpendicularly magnetized thin films. This work presents a comprehensive study on AO-HIS for in-plane magnetized GdxCo100-x thin films. Deterministic single femtosecond laser pulse toggle magnetization switching is demonstrated in a wider concentration range (x=10% to 25%) compared to the perpendicularly magnetized counterparts with GdCo thicknesses up to 30 nm. The switching time strongly depends on the GdxCo100-x concentration, with lower Gd concentration exhibiting shorter switching times (less than 500 fs). Our findings in this geometry provide insights into the underlying mechanisms governing single pulse AO-HIS, which challenge existing theoretical predictions. Field-induced superconductivity is a rare phenomenon where an applied magnetic field enhances or induces superconductivity. This fascinating effect arises from a complex interplay between magnetism and superconductivity, and it offers the tantalizing technological possibility of an infinite magnetoresistance superconducting spin valve. Here, we demonstrate field-induced superconductivity at a record-high temperature of T=9K in two samples of the ferromagnetic superconductor Eu(Fe$_{0.88}$Co$_{0.12}$)$_{2}$As$_{2}$. We combine tunable uniaxial stress and applied magnetic field to shift the temperature range of the zero-resistance state between 4K and 10K. We use x-ray diffraction and spectroscopy measurements under stress and field to demonstrate that stress tuning of the nematic order and field tuning of the ferromagnetism act as independent tuning knobs of the superconductivity. Weyl semimetals (WSMs) are three-dimensional topological materials that exhibit fascinating properties due to the presence of Weyl nodes in their band structure. However, existing WSMs discovered so far often possess multiple pairs of Weyl nodes, posing a challenge in disentangling the contributions to transport phenomena from different energy bands. To overcome this challenge, we have identified field-induced ferromagnetic MnBi$_{2-x}$Sb$_{x}$Te$_{4}$ as an ideal type-II WSM with a single pair of Weyl nodes. By employing a combination of quantum oscillations and high-field Hall measurements, we have resolved the evolution of Fermi-surface sections as the Fermi level is tuned across the charge neutrality point, precisely matching the band structure of an ideal type-II WSM. Furthermore, the anomalous Hall conductivity exhibits a heartbeat-like behavior as the Fermi level is tuned across the Weyl nodes, a unique feature previously predicted for a type-II WSM. Our findings establish MnBi$_{2-x}$Sb$_{x}$Te$_{4}$ as an ideal platform for further investigation into Weyl physics.

In this work, we investigate single-shot all-optical switching (AOS) in Tb/Co/Gd/Co/Tb multilayers in an attempt to establish AOS in synthetic ferrimagnets with high perpendicular magnetic anisotropy. In particular, we study the effect of varying Tb thicknesses to disentangle the role of the two rare earth elements. Even though the role of magnetic compensation has been considered to be crucial, we find that the threshold fluence for switching is largely independent of the Tb content. Moreover, we identify the timescale for the magnetization to cross zero to be within the first ps after laser excitation using time-resolved MOKE. We conclude that the switching is governed mostly by interactions between Co and Gd.

Switching of magnetic tunnel junction using femto-second laser enables a possible path for THz frequency memory operation, which means writing speeds 2 orders of magnitude faster than alternative electrical approaches based on spin transfer or spin orbit torque. In this work we demonstrate successful field-free 50fs single laser pulse driven magnetization reversal of [Tb/Co] based storage layer in a perpendicular magnetic tunnel junction. The nanofabricated magnetic tunnel junction devices have an optimized bottom reference electrode and show Tunnel Magnetoresistance Ratio values (TMR) up to 74\% after patterning down to sub-100nm lateral dimensions. Experiments on continuous films reveal peculiar reversal patterns of concentric rings with opposite magnetic directions, above certain threshold fluence. These rings have been correlated to patterned device switching probability as a function of the applied laser fluence. Moreover, the magnetization reversal is independent on the duration of the laser pulse. According to our macrospin model, the underlying magnetization reversal mechanism can be attributed to an in-plane reorientation of the magnetization due to a fast reduction of the out-of-plane uniaxial anisotropy. These aspects are of great interest both for the physical understanding of the switching phenomenon and their consequences for all-optical-switching memory devices, since they allow for a large fluence operation window with high resilience to pulse length variability.

We propose a novel multimodal video benchmark - the Perception Test - to evaluate the perception and reasoning skills of pre-trained multimodal models (e.g. Flamingo, SeViLA, or GPT-4). Compared to existing benchmarks that focus on computational tasks (e.g. classification, detection or tracking), the Perception Test focuses on skills (Memory, Abstraction, Physics, Semantics) and types of reasoning (descriptive, explanatory, predictive, counterfactual) across video, audio, and text modalities, to provide a comprehensive and efficient evaluation tool. The benchmark probes pre-trained models for their transfer capabilities, in a zero-shot / few-shot or limited finetuning regime. For these purposes, the Perception Test introduces 11.6k real-world videos, 23s average length, designed to show perceptually interesting situations, filmed by around 100 participants worldwide. The videos are densely annotated with six types of labels (multiple-choice and grounded video question-answers, object and point tracks, temporal action and sound segments), enabling both language and non-language evaluations. The fine-tuning and validation splits of the benchmark are publicly available (CC-BY license), in addition to a challenge server with a held-out test split. Human baseline results compared to state-of-the-art video QA models show a substantial gap in performance (91.4% vs 46.2%), suggesting that there is significant room for improvement in multimodal video understanding. One of the most formidable challenges of scaling up quantum computers is that of control signal delivery. Today's small-scale quantum computers typically connect each qubit to one or more separate external signal sources. This approach is not scalable due to the I/O limitations of the qubit chip, necessitating the integration of control electronics. However, it is no small feat to shrink control electronics into a small package that is compatible with qubit chip fabrication and operation constraints without sacrificing performance. This so-called "wiring challenge" is likely to impact the development of more powerful quantum computers even in the near term. In this paper, we address the wiring challenge of trapped-ion quantum computers. We describe a control architecture called WISE (Wiring using Integrated Switching Electronics), which significantly reduces the I/O requirements of ion trap quantum computing chips without compromising performance. Our method relies on judiciously integrating simple switching electronics into the ion trap chip - in a way that is compatible with its fabrication and operation constraints - while complex electronics remain external. To demonstrate its power, we describe how the WISE architecture can be used to operate a fully connected 1000-qubit trapped ion quantum computer using ~ 200 signal sources at a speed of ~ 40 - 2600 quantum gate layers per second.

We present a model of two Anderson impurities coupled to and through a superconducting island. The model parametrizes the strength of the coupling between impurity sites, allowing it to represent a variable distance between the impurities. We systematically explore the effect of the model parameters in the subspaces with total even and odd occupancy, identifying unique features of the charge stability diagrams that distinguish the two parities. For total odd electron parity, we identify a device tuning, in which the splitting between the two lowest energy states is highly insensitive to changes of the chemical potentials. We investigate the degree to which a qubit based on such two states is tunable and discuss an optimal choice of parameters to maximize inhomogeneous dephasing time. Finally, we point out that the proposed qubit lacks a transition dipole moment, and outline some of the consequences on viable driving and readout mechanisms. The prototype qubits could be realized with the existing capabilities of coupling quantum dots to hard-gapped superconductors.

A single electron shared between two levels threaded by a magnetic flux is an irreducibly simple quantum system in which interference is predicted to occur. We demonstrate tuning of the tunnel coupling between two such electronic levels with flux, implemented in a loop comprising two quantum dots. Using radio-frequency reflectometry of the dots' gate electrodes we extract the inter-dot coupling, which exhibits oscillations with a periodicity of one flux quantum. In different tunneling regimes we benchmark the oscillations' contrast, and find that their amplitude varies with the levels involved, while tunneling is generically not suppressed at oscillation minima. Ultrafast manipulation of magnetic order has challenged our understanding the fundamental and dynamic properties of magnetic materials. So far single shot magnetic switching has been limited to ferrimagnetic alloys and multilayers. In ferromagnetic (FM)/antiferromagnetic (AFM) bilayers, exchange bias (He) arises from the interfacial exchange coupling between the two layers and reflects the microscopic orientation of the antiferromagnet. Here we demonstrate the possibility of single shot switching of the antiferromagnet (change of the sign and amplitude of He) with a single femtosecond laser pulse in IrMn/CoGd bilayers. We demonstrate the switching for a wide range of fluences for different layer thicknesses and compositions. Atomistic simulations predict ultrafast switching and recovery of the AFM magnetization on a timescale of 2 ps. These results provide the fastest and the most energy-efficient method to set the exchange bias and pave the way to potential applications for ultrafast spintronic devices.

Time resolved measurements of the linear magneto-optical Kerr rotation reveal that, in the {\it 3d} ferromagnets Fe, Co and Ni, the amplitude of the demagnetization increases linearly with the fluence of the light. We rationalize this phenomenon as being linearly driven by the increase in temperature, the electron-phonon and electron-magnon scattering, and a reduction of the inter-atomic exchange. The amplitude of the latter phenomenon, which until the present study has been widely overlooked, is obtained through \textit{ab initio} density functional theory calculations, and is argued to be the principal source of demagnetization in Ni and Co, while still contributing largely in Fe.
