Objectives: develop a screening tool (AMA-48) to assess the risk of the mother-baby dyad not progressing positively in exclusive breastfeeding within the first 48 hours of hospital admission. Methods: this methodological study was carried out in a child-friendly hospital located in the interior of the Northeast Region of Brazil, between July2019 and August 2020. The study followed the following phases: 1) search in the literature to reformulate the construct; 2) restructuring of the construct and instrument; 3) content validation through evaluation by a committee of experts. Outcomes: the literature search resulted in the selection of ten documents. From these, the objective and structure of the instrument were defined, generating a structured questionnaire (11 items). Twenty-two experts considered 64% of the items "adequate". After reformulating and reevaluating the instrument, it was considered objective (85%), clear (90%) and relevant (95%). In the end, the instrument obtained a satisfactory overall average Content Validity Index of 0.88 (0.05) and included variables related to the unfeasibility of exclusive breastfeeding, maternal and neonatal anthropometry and breastfeeding difficulties, classifying the dyad at usual, medium and high risk. Conclusion:a tool with content validity was obtained, developed for low complexity services, which indicates the risk of the dyad not continuing exclusive breastfeeding. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Scientists have warned for several years that food systems have become major drivers of environmental degradation, malnutrition, and food insecurity. In this paper, we present arguments from specialists that suggest that in the transition to more sustainable food systems, biodiversity and food security can be mutually supportive rather than conflicting goals. We have divided the opinions of these scientists into two "Big Topics". First, they examine the synergies and challenges of the intersection of biodiversity and food security. In the second section, they explain how various forms of food biodiversity, such as mushrooms, terrestrial wild animals, aquatic animals, algae, and wild plants, can contribute to food security. Finally, we present three main pathways that, according to these experts, could guide the transition toward biodiversity and food security in food systems. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study aims to It was intended to evaluate the knowledge about the Covid-19 pandemic among undergraduate students in the health area. It is configured as a cross-sectional study, typified as public opinion research, carried out with students from the Nursing, Nutrition, Psychology and Physiotherapy courses at the UFRN campus in the town of Santa Cruz. The sample was composed by 282 students, and the collection took place using electronic forms on Google forms®, disseminated through social media (WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram). Bivariate analysis was performed using the Chi-square test and Fischer's exact test. The students have appropriate knowledge about this disease, most of them said they had received guidance, they know the proper attire for prevention, they think their mental health is impaired and they believe that the suspension of classes will entail an impact on their academic development. The average rate of correct answers on the biological aspects was 6.57, while on the epidemiological aspects it was 3.10. There was no significant difference when the courses were compared. Students' knowledge about Covid-19 was considered regular. These results highlight the need for daily updates on the disease among students. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
