Abstract

Shpigun [sup.1] [...], A domestic composite material based on silicon carbide and nitrile butadiene rubber was used to identify volatile substances of banana, banana flavor, and creamy chewing candies by passive adsorption in combination with thermal desorption GC-MS. This method can be used to determine a wide range of compounds, for example, esters of carboxylic acids, terpenoids, aldehydes, aromatic hydrocarbons, alkanes, heterocyclic compounds, phenols, glycerides, and fatty acids. The obtained chromatographic profiles of the samples were compared. In the chromatogram of "Banana" flavor, five peaks (out of eight) corresponded to the compounds that form the aroma of a banana, and in the chromatogram of "Love is" candies with banana flavor, three corresponding peaks (out of 21) were found.

Anan'ev [sup.2] Author Affiliations: (1) grid.14476.30, 0000 0001 2342 9668, Department of Chemistry, Moscow State University, , 119991, Moscow, [...], Adsorbents used to analyze air for concentrations of various organic compounds with their subsequent determination by thermal desorption gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) are considered. Tenax-TA is the most commonly used material for such tasks, but it has drawbacks. The characteristics of adsorbents of Tenax, Carbosieve, Carboxen, Carbotrap, Capbopack, Porapak, Chromosorb families, XAD polymer resins, activated carbons, and some monolithic carbon materials are given. Their advantages and disadvantages for the adsorption/thermal desorption of hydrocarbons are discussed. The advantages of monolithic carbon materials and the need in the development of a new domestic material for analytical gas chromatography-thermal desorption mass spectrometry in solving oil-prospecting problems are substantiated.

14. Regional clustering in the digital economy

Abstract

The article focuses on the advancement of theory and methodology to develop a qualitatively new model of the regional clusters' improvement using digital technologies. New conditions of the economy transformation define the model's relevance. The study provides a scientific basis for the regional clusters' formation in the context of the economy's digitalization. For this purpose, we applied general scientific methodology using system and dialectic methods, deductions, decomposition, the economic analysis and synthesis. In addition, our methodological toolkit includes mathematical methods of statistical data's processing. As a technique for analysing the region's cluster development, we used the Difference in difference method (DiD) that allows assessing the effect of clustering as a difference of the results prior and after cluster's formation. We tested our methodology on the example of the Lipetsk region, where the regional clustering is actively implemented thus implying the need for its improvement. In accordance with the offered model, we suggest to control cluster interactions by means of a virtual business environment in a form of the organizational platform with a multidimensional network architecture. Based on this model we developed a mechanism of interaction of the cluster participants in the course of organizing the region's social and economic space. This mechanism suggests creating virtual platforms in the spheres of mutual interests and joint activity between the cluster's participants (with a possibility of creating cooperative start-ups or venture enterprises). The developed conceptual model of regional clusters can be applied for the strategic development of «The valley of mechanical engineering» cluster. Further research can focus on the systems analysis of all clusters and their influence on the organization of the region's social and economic space. © 2019 Institute of Economics, Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Abstract

A comprehensive study of blood lipid composition and microcirculatory indices was performed in 88 patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) combined with coronary heart disease (CHD). A "syndrome" of mutual aggravation was shown to develop in the combination of DM and CHD. As a result of it the above indices were changed depending on clinical signs of each of the two diseases. Lipid metabolic and microcirculatory derangements depended mostly on a degree of compensation of carbohydrate metabolism. a DM type, the presence of diabetic angiopathies and CHD gravity.
