In the contemporary travel landscape, virtual reality (VR) integration has ushered in a novel paradigm, particularly influential among Generation Z. This demographic, inherently familiar with digital technologies, increasingly gravitates towards virtual tourism, an eco-friendly and resource-conscious alternative to traditional travel. Virtual tourism, the alternative to actual travel, offers immersive experiences that are both accessible and sustainable, reducing the environmental impact associated with conventional tourism. This paper examines how virtual travel could serve as a sustainable travel practice, crucial for preserving cultural and natural resources while providing meaningful experiences. The appeal of virtual tourism lies in its ability to deliver diverse and enriched experiences without the physical and environmental costs of travel. This form of tourism not only aids in conserving sensitive ecosystems and heritage sites but also offers inclusivity for individuals unable to travel due to economic or physical barriers. Furthermore, virtual tourism's potential to simulate endangered or inaccessible sites can play a pivotal role in educational initiatives and global awareness. This study explores the motivations behind Generation Z's engagement with virtual travel through detailed analysis and empirical data. It discusses how virtual tourism could be strategically developed to support sustainable tourism practices. This approach underscores a shift towards more responsible and conscious travel behaviours aligned with the sustainable values of Generation Z. The purpose of this paper is to detect the main trends in the development of virtual tourism as the new form of travel, with special emphasis on Generation Z's preferences in future virtual travel as a substitute for actual physical travel. This study allowed an analysis of EU funds distribution in the Romanian undergraduate educational field between 2007-2013 and the identification of a possible Matthew effect in a period marked by distinct societal changes. The source of our data is a cross-sectional study conducted in schools from five Romanian counties (Timiş, Caraş-Severin, Mehedinţi, Hunedoara and Gorj). The research focused itself on three main types of subjects: the principals of secondary schools, the teachers from the same schools and the 7 th grade students. Finally, a representative group of 80 educational institutions was selected. Based on our research results, we can assume that the involvement in EU projects (SOPHRD/POSDRU) was a process significantly determined by school characteristics rather than by the individual specificity of the teachers. As concluded, we can assume that the sustainability of the interventions remains unclear and their long-term effects uncertain for the vulnerable groups. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The purpose of this research is to conduct a social research on oral hygiene behaviour in primary school. In order to achieve our aim we designed our research using quantitative approach and conducting specialized social survey, using a sample of 1016 children from 11 different schools Timis County. Designed on three main dimensions of oral hygiene behaviour: information and knowledge practice of oral hygiene and relation with the dentist, our research findings provides strong support in order to understand the significant differences of dental health behaviour across gender, class level, and rural/urban area. In the same time, our results offer important elements of evidence-based data support required for conducting efficient oral health prevention programme and public policy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The paper will explore the evolution of Romanian migration phenomenon and the influence of migration policy of European countries, in order to understand the mechanism of choosing the destination country for Romanian emigrants. What type of evolution knows the migration phenomenon from Romania? Which are the most important factors that influence the emigration from Romania? How does the mechanism of choosing the work destination country for the Romanian emigrants? We expect that during the pre-joining period the European countries with tolerant attitude towards immigrants, and frequent naturalization, or regularization procedures, to be mainly preferred by Romanian immigrants. The empirical support for these hypotheses is examined based on statistical analysis of data provided by the official organisms for statistics in Romania, the Public Opinion Barometer.
