Esthesioneuroblastoma (ENB) is an uncommon sinonasal tract tumor, and it is even more uncommon among all neoplasms. Literature regarding the incidence and spread of the disease is limited. The prognosis of metastatic disease is poor. In this report, we present a case of recurrent ENB in a young woman involving metastasis to the neck, lungs, and ovary. Metastasis to the cervical lymph nodes is relatively common, but metastasis to the lungs is rare. Furthermore, to our knowledge, no cases of ovarian metastases of ENB have been reported. This case highlights the potential for widespread metastatic disease, suggesting the need for more frequent and thorough surveillance of patients diagnosed with recurrences of this tumor.

High grade B-cell lymphoma (HGBCL) by WHO 2016 classification requires rearrangements of MYC and BCL2 and/or BCL6, practically covering the so called "double-hit" or "triple hit" lymphomas. We report a case of HGBCL "triple-hit" lymphoma in a 64-year old female. Cytogenetic and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) studies revealed complex karyotype including rearrangement of MYC to a novel, non-IG partner on chromosome 18, and rearrangement of BCL2, BCL6 and IGH as well as ins(3)(q21q27.3q25.1) among other abnormalities. FISH studies showed five copies of MYC and 3-8 copies of BCL2. Gene expression analysis by RNA sequencing showed that MYC, BCL2 and MECOM genes were overexpressed whereas BCL6 was under-expressed. BCL6 was fused to MBNL1 gene due to complex structural rearrangement. MYC was expressed in >70% of cells and BCL2 was diffusely but highly expressed by immunohistochemistry. No pathogenic mutations were identified by sequencing a 26-gene panel including TP53. The patient has unexpectedly been in complete remission for 12 months after diagnosis after intensive chemotherapy including DA-EPOCH regimen despite having HGBCL. The prognostication of HGBCL patients may further be improved by the sub-categorization of these lymphomas on the basis of more detailed genomic markers than merely the WHO 2016 classification., (Copyright © 2018 Elsevier Inc. Several theorists have described memory in Parkinson's disease (PD) as involving an amplification of the deficits seen in normal aging, and drawn parallels between PD and frontal lesion patients. Both normal aging and frontal lobe damage impair memory for the context in which one has encountered information (i.e., source memory). We thus sought to determine whether PD patients would show especially poor source memory. We assessed memory for perceptual (voice), spatial (location of loudspeaker), and temporal (list) source memory in 18 PD patients, 23 healthy older adults, and 35 young people. Although both the healthy aged and PD groups performed more poorly than the young on most of the memory tests, the PD patients failed to show significantly greater impairments than the healthy older adults. The PD patients did perform more poorly, however, on a measure of executive function (the Wisconsin Card Sorting Test [WCST]). We discuss potential reasons why PD had a surprisingly minimal effect on source memory in our study, and relate our data to broader theories of memory impairment in Parkinson's disease., (© 2013 The British Psychological Society.)
