As critical measures to educate and cultivate people’s morality, “Ideology and Politics of Course” has gradually become the focus in actual undergraduate education research in universities. Targeting the single ideological and political education mode and students’ lack of interest in experimental courses, this paper, through various links, including pre-class preview, in-class teaching, and after-class data analysis, takes the common emitter single tube amplifier experiment as an example to organically integrate the excavated ideological and political elements with practical operation and carry out teaching case design and practice; realize the improvement of students’ learning initiative and problem-analysis ability; and achieve the purpose of cultivating people throughout the whole process and in a comprehensive direction.

Hypertension is one of the most common comorbidities among patients undergoing surgery. However, few studies have focused on patients undergoing knee arthroplasty, and most of them had small sample sizes. This study aimed to analyze post-operative complications associated with hypertension in patients who underwent knee replacement surgery.Data from the 2019 National Inpatient Sample (NIS) database were used. Patients who underwent primary total knee arthroplasty (pTKA) and those who underwent aseptic revision total knee arthroplasty (rTKA) were analyzed separately. Propensity score matching was performed to reduce the effects of demographic factors and comorbidities other than hypertension on post-operative complications. A multinomial logistic regression that included all significantly different demographics and comorbidities was performed to verify the results and evaluate the odds ratios.A total of 107,981 patients who underwent pTKA and 6571 who underwent rTKA owing to mechanical complications were identified in the 2019 NIS database. Compared with the non-hypertension group, patients with hypertension had a higher risk of developing acute renal failure and electrolyte disorders after TKA. Further analysis revealed that hyponatraemia and hypokalaemia were associated with hypertension.Hypertension was associated with the incidence of acute renal failure after TKA. It is important to identify patients with risk factors for acute renal failure (in addition to hypertension) and take careful measures to prevent acute renal failure in them.

Widespread problems exist in English major education, which directly or indirectly restrict the development of English major education. The teaching mode of English language and literature is considered in the context of big data. This paper designs an online English learning system platform based on the BP neural network algorithm under the big data network and uses the BP neural network for learning to improve the learning level of the platform. This article adds a course of Chinese and Western cultural comparison in the process of education and teaching. Through Chinese literature and culture courses, it is conducive to learning and inheriting Chinese civilization, training students' ability to understand and communicate Chinese and Western civilizations, and also training students' thinking skills. The teaching plan introduces courses with Chinese elements such as the history of Chinese philosophy and the introduction of Chinese literary classics. Through the courses of Chinese literature and culture, students are guided to ask questions, apply theory to practice, conduct experiments, obtain data, and then analyze problems and draw conclusions according to certain research methods, which exercises students' thinking ability. This also improves students' language application ability through English writing courses. In addition, this paper designs an English language and literature teaching system. With the support and guidance of the English intelligent teaching system, it analyzes the learning level and weaknesses and puts forward teaching suggestions. Then, data mining technology is used to find the key information in the answers from the massive data and is applied to English teaching. In the English learning test, the average attitude of the experimental class was 1.3314 points. This research will effectively solve the problem of English major courses.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the incidence of avascular necrosis (AVN) of the femoral head in children less than 3 years of age with developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) treated with closed reduction, open reduction alone and open reduction combined with osteotomy. We reviewed clinical trials from the PubMed, EMBASE and Cochrane Library databases (up to November 2020) that were related to closed reduction, open reduction alone and open reduction combined with osteotomy for the treatment of children under 3 years of age with DDH. The screening and quality evaluation of the literature were performed independently by two researchers. In case of disagreement, a third researcher resolved the discourse. Finally, the data were extracted, and the R software and GeMTC program package were used to conduct a network meta-analysis (NMA). The evaluation index was the incidence of AVN. Fourteen articles were included. The NMA showed that in terms of the incidence of AVN, cases treated with open reduction alone were higher than those with closed reduction, and the difference was statistically significant. Open reduction alone had the highest probability (94.4%) of having the highest incidence of AVN, followed by open reduction combined with osteotomy (5.5%) and closed reduction (0.1%). In the treatment of children with DDH who are younger than 3 years old, open reduction alone is most likely to be the treatment with the highest incidence of AVN, followed by open reduction combined with osteotomy. The closed reduction had the smallest probability of AVN.

PurposeThe purpose of the paper is to describe and analyse the nature of accountability for human rights, as enacted by the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre (BHRRC), in this time of globalization and coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Design/methodology/approachThe authors focus on one case of alleged union-busting and unfair dismissal carried out under the cover of the COVID-19 pandemic. Tracing the action of that case, the authors show how the BHRRC provides a digital platform for dialogues of accountability. The authors use a Latourian theoretical perspective to guide the progress of the study’s analysis.FindingsThe authors find that the dialogues of accountability enacted on the BHRRC platform cannot be satisfactorily characterized in terms of an old politics of hegemony, counterhegemony and counter accounts. The authors find that the accountability enacted on the platform operates in three modes: in a political mode to support the formation of issues and publics and the embedding of norms; in an organizational mode to support the (re)organizing business corporations around scripts of respect for human rights; in a moral mode to keep scruples concerning means and ends and the pursuit of better outcomes, open.Originality/valueThe paper is novel, in that it engages with the part that accounting can play in politics conceived in Latourian terms; in its introduction, a notion of modes of accountability on the foundations of Latour’s exploration of modes of existence; in its challenge to the value of critical accounting conceived in terms of hegemony and counterhegemony.

Ketosis is a metabolic disease of dairy cows in the perinatal period, β-hydroxybutyrate (β-HB) is the main component of ketosis. High levels of β-HB can trigger oxidative stress and inflammatory response in dairy cows, leading to decreased milk yield and multiple postpartum diseases. Forsythin (FOR), the major constituent of the herbal medicine Forsythia, has anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, and antiviral effects. FOR was demonstrated to have an antioxidant effect on PC12 cells. However, the effects of FOR on β-HB-stimulated bovine macrophages (BMs) has not been reported. Thus, the aim of the present study was to investigate the effects of FOR on β-HB-stimulated BMs. Firstly, the CCK8 test confirmed that FOR (50, 100, 200 μg/mL) has no effect on BMs activity, and we selected these concentrations for subsequent experiments. Secondly, through detecting the oxidation indexes ROS, MDA and antioxidant indexes CAT and SOD, we confirmed the antioxidant effect of FOR on BMs. Next, qRT-PCR confirmed that FOR dramatically reduced the mRNA levels of IL-1β and IL-6. Furthermore, the western blotting confirmed that FOR observably down-regulated β-HB-stimulated phosphorylation of p38, ERK and Akt and up-regulated expression of Nrf2, and HO-1. Above results suggested that FOR plays antioxidant effects on β-HB-induced BMs through p38, ERK and PI3K/Akt, Nrf2 and HO-1 signaling pathways. Therefore, we speculated that FOR may be a potential medicine to alleviate β-HB-induced inflammatory response and provide a preliminary reference for the research and development of FOR.

Discoid lateral meniscus (DLM) is more prone to injury than a normally shaped meniscus. No study has compared the gene expression and cell heterogeneity between discoid and normal menisci. We aimed to identify specific cell clusters and their marker genes in discoid meniscus, thereby providing a theoretical basis for the treatment and etiology of DLM. ScRNA-seq was used in DLM and osteoarthritis lateral meniscus (OAM) cells to identify cell subsets and their gene signatures. Pseudo-time analysis and immunohistochemical staining were used to investigate the temporal and spatial distribution of DLM-specific clusters. ScRNA-seq identified nine clusters originating from DLM and OAM, composed of seven empirically defined populations and two novel populations specific to DLM, namely, the prehypertrophic chondrocyte 2 (PreHTC-2) and regulatory chondrocyte (RegC-2) populations. Single-cell trajectory showed that RegC-2 and PreHTC-2 were mainly distributed in a specific cell fate, with the PreHTC-2 marker gene HAPLN1 highly expressed at the end of this fate. Immunohistochemical staining showed that HAPLN1 + cells were mainly distributed in the white zone of DLM. Matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) variants were expressed in DLM and OAM, with MMP2 highly expressed in OAM-dominant cell clusters, while MMP3 was highly expressed in DLM-dominant cell clusters. We concluded that two novel cell clusters including PreHTC-2 were identified using single-cell sequencing, which were mainly distributed in the white areas of DLM. Differentiated MMP expression in the trajectory may be a possible mechanism of DLM formation.

Aim Early predictive markers of venous thromboembolism (VTE) after total hip arthroplasty (THA)/total knee arthroplasty (TKA) remain unclear. Our study identified early predictive markers for VTE after THA/TKA. Methods A single-institution retrospective review study was conducted between May 2020 and April 2022 (n = 256). All patients underwent Doppler ultrasounds exam in preoperation and seventh day after surgery. Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) was defined by Doppler ultrasound of the lower extremities, which revealed thrombosis. Thrombin-antithrombin complex (TAT), thrombomodulin (TM), and plasmin-antiplasmin complex (PIC) concentration were tested from each patient’s preoperative and postoperative days 1, 4, 7, 14. These values were then accessed via receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis and further quantified the level of this risk by concentration. In today's mainstream American literary world, Ha Jin is the most famous and most well-known Chinese writer. His novels have won many important awards, which can be regarded to represent the highest achievement of contemporary American Chinese literature creation. His work has had a wide impact throughout the world. This article focuses on the analysis of Ha Jin's Nanjing Requiem and Waiting from the traumatic field of view. He used the writing methods mentioned in the trauma theory to reproduce the sufferings of the old society and the atrocities of the aggressors based on the traumatic writing techniques. First, through the analysis of the fragment of Waiting, it shows the loss of individual humanity and the suppression and injury brought by social reality after the protagonist experienced the marriage dispute in the old China. This has caused the article to rise from personal trauma to social trauma. This not only shows the protagonist's spiritual dilemma and psychological struggle, but also triggers the reader's philosophical thinking on human nature and society. Then, we analyzed the Nanjing Requiem. This paper uses a multi-faceted perspective to describe the Nanjing Requiem. The article mainly reproduces the tragic fate of the people in the disaster from the perspective of the Westerners. The personal trauma of the article has risen to the collective trauma brought about by the Second World War. Finally, we analyze Ha Jin's writing style as a new immigrant writer based on the works in these two traumatic perspectives. We can conclude that Ha Jin recreates the wound by means of traumatic writing to heal the wound to some extent. In addition, the language choice in the early days of Ha Jin's creation was to cater to the needs of the readers and maintain their own livelihoods. The realistic descriptions in his works are derived from his own life history and human experiences. This coordination of catering and realism has resonated with Chinese immigrants and catered to the expectations of American readers for Chinese literature. We can say that his success is inseparable from the coordination of the two.

Background: Malignant tumors express multiple common markers that might constitute targets for tumor immunotherapy. Methods: Here we performed antigen epitope screening and molecular docking to design a new combination vaccine based on covalently linking Globo H and Oct 4 with a TLR7 agonist. We mainly use flow cytometry to analyze the changes in lymphocyte differentiation after the vaccine is applied. Use Elisa technology to detect the antibodies produced by the vaccine and the changes in lymphokines. In order to supplement the immunological data, RNA sequencing was performed on untreated and vaccine-treated tumors to define the interference of the vaccine on the genome-wide gene expression profile.Results: Our results demonstrated that the Globo H-OCT4-T7 conjugate vaccine effectively induced cellular uptake, maturation and antigen presentation of BMDCs. The combination vaccine enhanced cytokine production, CTLs activity elicited high levels of IgG. Importantly, the tumor immune microenvironment was significantly improved in tumor-bearing mice treated by Globo H-OCT4-T7 conjugate vaccine, demonstrated by increased the ratio of M1 to M2 TAMs, reduced number of Tregs in PBMCs and promoted the infiltration of tumor-specific IFN γ-producing CD8+ T cells. Prophylactic vaccination of Globo H-OCT4-T7 significantly reduced tumor growth by >80 % in both CT26 transplanted mice and in a human PDX mouse model when exposing mice to the combined vaccine compared to control. Our novel, combination vaccine is safe and effective at preventing tumor growth in mice. Conclusions: This combination vaccine is more effective than the single vaccine, and thus has the potential to prevent OCT4 and Globo H from expressing cancer.

In the process of innovating the English teaching system, multi-modal teaching is very representative and promotes the digital and three-dimensional development of English teaching. The teaching of academic English writing is of great practical significance for graduate students to carry out academic research and express their academic views independently. In the traditional teaching of graduate students' Academic English writing, the content of the teaching is relatively single, and the teaching process lacks interaction, which affects the continuous improvement of graduate students' Academic English writing. Taking the application of information technology as the research background, this paper puts forward the teaching strategy of multi-modal academic English writing for graduate students.

Based on the seismic prediction difficulties of the tight sandstone reservoir in Fuyu formation in Zhaoyuan area, single-well sequence division and connecting-well sub-layer correlation are carried out according to logging and lithologic data, and short-cycle interface position is calibrated precisely after a mutual calibration of logging and seismic data. Horizon tracing in the whole area is also carried out to build high-frequency isochronous stratigraphic framework. On this basis, the log facies modes and the sedimentary facies of the short-cycles under a high-frequency isochronous stratigraphic framework are analyzed in the target area, sand-body geometric scale parameters and their relations and sand-body development degree are calculated out, and a sand-body geological model is also built out. According to the seismic data and layer-by-layer geological model of sand bodies, a spatial distribution probability model of facies-controlled sand bodies is built out, which is used to constrain the pre-stack seismic data in facies-controlled inversion calculation. Based on the results of facies-controlled inversion, the tight sandstone prediction is carried out. Finally, a method of isochronal facies-controlled pre-stack seismic inversion prediction of tight sandstone reservoir is formed and it realizes the effective prediction of superimposed sand bodies in target area. Compared with actual drilling results, the sandstone of more than 2m has clear depiction and the sandstone of between 1-2m also has response, which indicates that this method is feasible and practicable.

It will cause some problems like improper way of lightning protection and improper height of lightning rod in the design for direct lightning flash protection of satellite antenna, which may increase the probability of lightning strike, due to the lack of express provisions in relevant standards about satellite antenna lightning protection level and direct lightning flash protection ways. A way was presented for the determination of lightning protection level based on probability and risk assessment of lighting through a specific instance, by comparing the probability of lightning, costs and difficulties for construction between two different types of lightning protection ways under the same conditions for indirect lightning protection, an appropriate way was proposed for direct lightning flash protection by using lightning rod installed on the satellite antenna.
