The future of dwelling has a very board context and will continue to be discussed, it is possible that the discussions about “dwelling” is come from the environment of farming and fishing. Therefore this matter will be discussed using the role of architecture as space, to be able to create an ideal system by paying attention to the quality of farming and fishing for the future, and leaving a trace or memory to be able to carry messages for the future. Talking about the future of an interaction that occurs between the general public and farmers and fishermen, especially considering that farmers and fishermen themselves can be compared to two different poles, a liminal space is needed, which may already exist indirectly in the environment. By letting go of individual egos and emphasizing ego to the point of view of farmers and fishermen. To present a common space, or a place that contains a special character of a city that contains a message for the future. Oleh karena itu, masa depan berhuni ini akan dibahas dengan menggunakan peran arsitektur sebagai ruang, untuk dapat menciptakan sistem yang ideal dengan memperhatikan kualitas bertani dan melaut bagi masa depan, dan meninggalkan sebuah jejak atau kenangan untuk dapat membawa pesan bagi masa depan. Berbicara mengenai masa depan dari sebuah interaksi yang terjadi antara masyarakat umum dengan para petani dan nelayan, apalagi mengingat para petani dan nelayan itu sendiri dapat diibaratkan berada pada kedua kutub yang berbeda, maka dibutuhkanlah sebuah ruang liminal, yang mungkin sudah hadir secara tidak langsung pada lingkungan masyarakat. Dengan cara melepaskan ego individual dan menekankan ego kepada sudut pandang para petani dan nelayan. Iris series Hexagonae is a small, monophyletic complex of five species and associated hybrid populations, popularly known as the ‘Louisiana irises’. Series Hexagonae has been recognized as a textbook case of introgressive hybridization based on numerous studies in Louisiana. We previously explored patterns of genetic structure and diversity in populations of the complex in Florida. Populations that occupy high, dry habitats have plants with a distinctive floral ‘highlands’ phenotype. Aquatic populations of I. savannarum also have a consistent floral phenotype (‘coastal’). Jacks Branch slough in Glades County harbors the largest population of series Hexagonae sampled in our previous studies. It is an ecologically heterogeneous site, punctuated by sandy uplands that remain above high water and harbor Iris with the highlands floral phenotype as well as coastal types in the wetter areas of the slough. We hypothesized that mesic, but non-inundated, sites in the slough would host hybrids of the two phenotypic groups, and tested these hypotheses with 19 microsatellite loci. All data analyses support our hypothesis of hybridization between the upland and hydric subpopulations. Although two methods of introgression analysis identify some of the individuals from the admixture zone as first-generation hybrids, subsequent admixture was asymmetric with introgression from the ‘highland’ parent. This is the first report of such assortative processes occurring in the confines of a single population of Iris. We suggest that the evolutionary processes described interspecifically for series Hexagonae commence early at the population level.

This article uses data from survey questions fielded on the 2011 wave of the Cognitive Economics Study to uncover systematic errors in perceptions of income tax rates. First, when asked about the marginal tax rates (MTRs) for households in the top tax bracket, respondents underestimate the top MTR on wages and salary income, overestimate the MTR on dividend income, and therefore significantly underestimate the currently tax-advantaged status of dividend income. Second, when analyzing the relationship between respondents’ self-reported average tax rates (ATRs) and MTRs, many people do not understand the progressive nature of the federal income tax system. Third, when comparing self-reported tax rates with those computed from self-reported income, respondents systematically overestimate their ATR while reported MTR are accurate at the mean, the responses are consistent with underestimation of tax schedule progressivity.

Brain abscesses caused by group A Streptococcus (GAS) are infrequently encountered in children. We present two cases of brain abscess (one cerebellar and one located in the temporal lobe) due to GAS infection occurring in close temporal proximity in previously healthy young children living in different geographic areas of southern Israel. The relevant literature since 2000, in the context of recent epidemiological data reporting an increase in the incidence of invasive GAS infections, is reviewed.

We wished to test the hypothesis that the Lake Wales Ridge and Polk Uplands of Florida, which remained above sea level maxima during the early Pleistocene, might be the sites of origin for all extant iris populations in Florida and possibly the series Hexagonae in its entirety. We investigated genetic variation within and among 11 populations of Iris hexagona at its southern limits in the Florida peninsula by using 19 microsatellite loci. All of the populations contain varying numbers of identical multilocus genotypes, indicative of clonal reproduction. Two population samples consist largely of one clonal lineage and two clonal lineages: the first from the Caloosahatchee drainage west of Lake Okeechobee and the other from the Big Cypress Swamp. The populations are predominantly outcrossing, with high levels of heterozygosity, and show a highly significant pattern of isolation by distance that fits a modified stepping‐stone model. This pattern breaks down at the local level, however, where metapopulation dynamics or asymmetrical gene flow may exert a stronger effect on patterns of genetic diversity. Ten microsatellite loci isolated from Iris hexagona are described. All these loci are polymorphic, with three to 13 alleles across 24 individuals from a single natural population. Heterozygosity ranged from 0.125 to 0.870. Three loci depart significantly from Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium in our test population. The test population shows significant heterozygote deficiency in these and two other loci. Three loci exhibit significant linkage disequilibrium. These loci will be utilized to investigate patterns of genetic variation in the species throughout the Florida peninsula.

There are wide and persistent gender and race differences in wage and salary incomes. Much of the literature attempting to explain these differences relies on self-reported earnings. Many self-reported wages and salary incomes differ, however, from those reported by employers. These errors can bias the measurement of the returns to education and the decomposition of racial and gender earnings gaps. This article examines the implications of using selfreported data for measuring gender and race disparities in earnings. We find that relative to employer-reported data, self-reports understate the wage and salary incomes of black women with low educational levels and overstate the returns to higher education for black women. These previously unexplored and unrecognised findings of bias in the estimation of the returns to black women’s education and the large understatement of earnings among less-well educated black women have implications for interpreting the sources of race and gender earnings inequality.
