Beringkit Animal Market is one of the large traditional animal markets in Bali which is famous for selling superior cows. In addition to selling superior cows, Beringkit Animal Market also sells dogs and various types of poultry such as chickens, ducks and roosters. However, in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak, traditional markets are considered as the main cluster for the spread of COVID-19 due to the large number of interactions between buyers and traders. The implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) has resulted in a lack of income for traders at the Beringkit Animal Market. This study aims to design an Android-based online animal auction application as a medium for buying and selling animals to minimize physical interaction between buyers and traders, the online auction transaction process is chosen because the auction transaction process can bring together traders and buyers in the same online media and make offers up to reach the highest agreed price. The research method applied is the DSRM method or Design Security Research Method, application development uses Android Studio to develop mobile applications, and uses Visual Studio Code to develop web-based systems. Data storage and web server management in this study using MySQL and Laravel. The results of this study are in the form of an Android-based animal auction application that can be used as a medium for transactions between buyers and traders who have gone through the blackbox testing process with the test results as expected.

The availability of various extended reality (XR) systems for tracking users’ and objects’ behavior opens new opportunities for analyzing users’ and objects’ interactions and autonomous actions. Such analysis can be especially useful and attainable to domain experts when it is based on domain knowledge related to a particular application, liberating the analysts from going into technical details of 3D content. Analysis of XR users’ and objects’ behavior can provide knowledge about the users’ experience, interests and preferences, as well as objects’ features, which may be valuable in various domains, e.g., training, design and marketing. However, the available methods and tools for building XR focus on 3D modeling and programming rather than knowledge representation, making them unsuitable for domain-oriented analysis. In this paper, a new visual approach to modeling explorable XR environments is proposed. It is based on a semantic representation of aspects, which extend the primary code of XR environments to register their behavior in a form explorable with reasoning and queries, appropriate for high-level analysis in arbitrary domains. It permits domain experts to comprehend and analyze what happened in an XR environment regarding users’ and objects’ actions and interactions. The approach has been implemented as an extension to MS Visual Studio and demonstrated in an explorable immersive service guide for household appliances. The evaluation results show that the approach enables efficient development of explorable XR and may be useful for people with limited technical skills.

Almost every Android user application has some kind of user interface. Android programmers who create Xamarin.Forms applications and who uses the Microsoft Visual Studio development environment to do so can create user interfaces in the XAML (the Extensible Application Markup Language) or in the C# programming language. This paper deals with a comparison of creating this user interface by the first and the second way. We demonstrate the differences in the creation of Android application user interfaces in XAML and in C# by way of using two of our Android applications which were created by the Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 Enterprise, which work as text editors with the ability to store text to disc, and have user interfaces that are visually identical. However, the user interface of the first Android application was created in XAML with a C# support code, whereas the user interface of the second Android application was created entirely in C#. While comparing the source codes of the user interfaces of both these Android applications, we identify the advantages and disadvantages of both approaches to creating a user interface and we try to find out which of these approaches is better for maintaining and modifying user interfaces. In this study, we also contrast the processes of handling events of controls of a user interface created in the XAML code for the first Android application as well as that of the same user interface created in the C# code for the second Android application. Furthermore, we were interested in determining whether the different ways of creating user interfaces affected the execution time of basic operations that included disc files that were performed on the same data by both the applications. We assume that it does not fundamentally affect the execution time, and so, we performed an experiment to confirm or refute our assumption.

Every tertiary academic institution has the obligation of recording and taking the attendance of its students during lecture periods. Over the years the process and accuracy of this attendance has been marred by many challenges which range from the cumbersome nature of paper sheets used in recording, to the manipulation of attendance by unscrupulous students and so on. This paper is aimed at designing and implementing a biometric students’ time and attendance logging system that helps in mitigating these challenges. This biometric student time and attendance logging system uses the fingerprint biometric characteristics to accurately identify the student. The system also generates a report showing the number of times a particular student was present or absent in a semester. This feat was achieved through the use of an atmega328P microcontroller, a fingerprint RS305 module, a liquid crystal display (LCD), a Red Green Blue (RGB) light emitting diode (LED) and a Personal Computer (PC) amongst others. The software used in this work was developed using visual studio C# and MySQL2008, and the final work was simulated using proteus before it was constructed and tested. The results of the test show a significant improvement over the manual attendance system.

Given the growing economy in the Philippines, the exponential growth in the construction business in Pampanga creates jobs and boosts the industry. This research was conducted to examine various strategies or solutions to a specific construction problem and generates suggestions or effective ways to address them immediately. The system created in this study provides storage where the problem and solution can be documented for further studies and future use. The most frequent issues faced by construction companies that cause delays and expense overruns require a solid determination to take action. These problems are from construction studies and works of literature. A survey questionnaire was used to study the most suitable solution; the questionnaire includes standard answers to resolve the factors and minimize the cost that overruns the project. Field/site engineers, procurement officers, quality assurance engineers, and the project manager were the targets of this study. Cost overrun occurs because the elements were made naturally and by human. It was distinguished by mean factor examination utilizing Likert's scale and cross-organization utilizing Statistical Package for the Social Sciences Tools and algorithm utilizing Visual Studio Software (C-sharp program). The outcomes are the correlation of the elements between the two techniques, examination of the variables from the gathered information and the components gathered by different engineers, and the arrangements experts made to reduce the impacts of these features.

Authentication is crucial although if system which facilitates secure their networks by limiting access to protected resources such as networks, websites, network-based software, databases, and other computer systems or services to only authenticated users (or processes). In general, modern authentication protocols such as Security Assertion Markup Language 2.0 (SAML), WS-Fed, OAuth, and OpenID discourage apps from handling user credentials. The aim is to keep an app's authentication method and its functionality separate. Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) manages the login process to keep confidential data (such as passwords) out of the hands of websites and apps. This allows identity providers (IdP) like Azure AD to provide seamless single sign-on experiences, allow users to authenticate using factors other than passwords (phone, face, biometrics), and block or elevate authentication attempts if Azure AD detects, for example, that the user's account has been compromised or that the user is attempting to access an app from an untrusted location. The main goal of the work is Converting Visual Studio from ADAL to MSAL has allowed us to better support Conditional Access and Multi-factor Authentication and other new AAD features which benefit our customers. Visual Studio 2019 and the.NET Core SDK can be used to complete this work. The SAML request–response authentication workflow between these providers is checked to ensure that user login information is accurate and safe.

We propose a conceptual integration of deductive program verification into existing user interfaces for software debugging. This integration is well-represented in the "Debug Adapter Protocol", a widely-used and generic technology to integrate debugging of programs into development environments. Commands like step-forward and step-in are backed by steps of a symbolic structural operational semantics, and the different paths through a program are readily represented by multiple running threads of the debug target inside the user interface. Thus, existing IDEs can be leveraged for deductive verification debugging with relatively little effort. We have implemented this scheme for SecC, an auto-active program verifier for C, and discuss its integration into Visual Studio Code., Comment: In Proceedings F-IDE 2021, arXiv:2108.02369

The voting system has been developed from traditional paper ballot to electronic voting (e-voting). The evoting system has high potential to be widely used in election event. However, the e-voting system still does not meet the most important security properties which are voter's authenticity and non-repudiation. This is because voters can simply vote again by entering other people's identification number. In this project, an electronic voting using voter nonrepudiation oriented scheme will be developed. This system contains ten modules which are log in, vote session, voter, candidate, open session, voting results, user account, initial score, logs and reset vote count. In order to ensure there would be no non-repudiation issue, a voter non-repudiation oriented scheme concept will be adapted and implemented in the system. This system will be built using Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 which only can be accessed using personal computers at the voting center. This project will be beneficial for future use in order to overcome non-repudiation issue. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

EXAMINATIONS ,TWO-dimensional bar codes ,IDENTIFICATION cards ,IMPERSONATION - Abstract
In many institutions, during each examination, the only requirement that is needed for a student to enter examination hall is his/her identity card, which is checked for authenticity and validity of the student. This process does fail to identify if such a student is eligible to write that examination. Currently with the high ratio of students to invigilators in many examination halls, using only ID card for verification does not show whether a student has registered for a subject or not. As a result, some students make use of this loophole to request the assistance of another student from another level or other department to help them write the exam on their behalf. This act is impersonation and thus, is an act of examination malpractice. In this paper, an examination eligibility verification system using quick response code was developed. The EEV system was designed using UML diagrams and implemented using JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheet, and HTML5 in Microsoft Visual Studio Code for the front-end, and PHP and MySQL relational database management system for the back-end. The EEV system was validated using a smartphone to scan the QR code generated. It was observed that the system took four seconds to verify a student's eligibility status. This shows that 300 students can be verified in 20 minutes. Furthermore, it provides a log file that keeps track of eligible students, which serves the purpose of attendance. So, the EEV system was friendly, secures and reliable, and has fast response time. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

To improve the urban environment and effectively reflect and promote urban energy performance, an urban energy performance evaluation system was constructed, thereby strengthening urban environmental management capabilities. From the perspectives of internalization and externalization, a framework of evaluation indicators and key factors that determine urban energy performance and explore the reasons for differences in performance was proposed according to established theory and previous studies. Using the improved stochastic frontier analysis method, an urban energy performance evaluation and factor analysis model was built that brings performance evaluation and factor analysis into the same stage for study. According to data obtained for the Chinese provincial capitals from 2004 to 2013, the coefficients of the evaluation indicators and key factors were calculated by the urban energy performance evaluation and factor analysis model. These coefficients were then used to compile the program file. The urban energy performance evaluation system developed in this study was designed in three parts: a database, a distributed component server, and a human-machine interface. Its functions were designed as login, addition, edit, input, calculation, analysis, comparison, inquiry, and export. On the basis of these contents, an urban energy performance evaluation system was developed using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2015. The system can effectively reflect the status of and any changes in urban energy performance. Beijing was considered as an example to conduct an empirical study, which further verified the applicability and convenience of this evaluation system. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Software engineers usually do not have enough knowledge in the area of usability to develop user interfaces with a high degree of usability on their own. An initial study with 20 software engineers showed that, although usability is an important aspect for software engineers, they only spend an average of 18.14 h per project on usability-related tasks. An integrated software support solution that incorporates relevant usability knowledge would be extremely useful. Based on an analysis, a plug-in for Microsoft Visual Studio has been developed. The plug-in automatically checks usability aspects of a user interface in the background. Usability-related knowledge is stored in an ontology and accessed by the plug-in during runtime. The plug-in has been evaluated with 19 software engineers. The results are mostly positive. Users find that the plug-in is useful and supports their daily engineering work by helping them to quickly enhance the usability of their software solution.

The availability of office stationery is very important to make the required work smooth. In order for ATK management to be handled properly, an application is needed to manage ATK inventory data using a technology-based information system so that it becomes a complete information system. The method used by the author in conducting this research is the Waterfall model system development method starting from the specification of user requirements, planning, modeling, and coding. The method of specification of user requirements includes interviews, observations, literature studies, and documentation studies. The planning method includes the tasks to be carried out including the risks that may occur and the work schedule. Modeling methods include the design of flow documents, DFD, data dictionary, and ERD. The coding includes a program designer with the VB.Net programming language with SQL Server 2008 database and application testing using black box testing, namely this test is intended to determine whether the functions, inputs and outputs of the software are in accordance with the required specifications. To simplify reporting and recording so that errors do not occur, it is necessary to design and implement a system that can facilitate inter-related functions within the company by using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 (VB.Net) and Microsoft SQL Server 2008. With the implementation of this system, it is expected will be useful for the company in its operations in the future.
