Current technological developments have had a major influence on various aspects of life, especially in the context of education. One example is the use of the Intelligent Tutor System, which is often referred to as an intelligent tutoring system. The use of ITS in the military world is needed to carry out the role of tutors to students or prospective soldiers, implemented in the form of interactive applications in order to create quality and professional military human resources. The increasing interest in intelligent guidance system technology among the military demands a clear and structured understanding. In this context, we present a systematic literature review (SLR) with the intention of analyzing all relevant research over several years and evaluating the extent of implementation of intelligent guidance system technology in the Army. We have compiled information from 27 major studies contained in six scientific databases, covering the publication period from 1993 to 2022. The results show that this topic is still relatively new in military research. 81% of the papers focused on its application with various models in the military sector, while 23% of the papers discussed the potential applications of intelligent tutorial systems in the military environment. Additionally, 75% of the research on intelligent tutorial systems in the military sector is dominated by researchers from the United States. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
