The long and large diameter uncharged hole boring (LLB) method is a cut blasting method that minimizes blast-induced vibrations by creating long and large diameter uncharged holes at the excavation face of tunnels prior to tunnel excavation. Drilling in this method typically uses a 50 m long with a 382 mm diameter hammer bit in the horizontal direction at the tunnel face. However, the significant weight and uni-directional rotation of the rod head, as well as variables such as geological characteristics, machine conditions, and inexperienced operators result in significant deviation from the target borehole alignment that hinders the vibration-dampening effect of the uncharged holes. Furthermore, since there is no method to verify the alignment of the boreholes until main tunnel construction, borehole misalignment is often not discovered until weeks after construction, which requires tunnel construction to cease until the equipment can be remobilized and an additional borehole be created, causing significant delays and increased costs for the entire tunnel project. In this study, the borehole alignment tracking and ground exploration system (BGS) is developed to predict and monitor the quality and alignment of boreholes for cut blasting methods such as the LLB methods immediately after boring. The BGS was subsequently tested at a subway construction site to evaluate its performance in the field. The measurements yielded by the BGS were compared with manually measured boring positions at every 5 m along the borehole. Although the BGS showed a maximum deviation of approximately 12% at a local point where the hole surface was relatively rough, the accuracy for the final boring position was approximately 97%, demonstrating excellent precision of the alignment tracking system. The BGS demonstrates excellent performance in predicting ground conditions and the boring quality of a cut hole immediately after drilling, and shows promise in various other applications for monitoring borehole alignment.

In this study, the effects of pre-strain-induced tensile twins (TTWs) and controlled heat treatment on the formability behavior of AZX311 Mg alloy sheets were investigated. A 4% compressive strain was applied to pre-strain the sheets using the in-plane compression (IPC) technique along the rolling direction (RD) to introduce TTWs. The pre-strained (PS) samples were subsequently heat-treated at 250 °C, 350 °C, and 400 °C independently for 1 hr, and are termed as PSA1, PSA2, and PSA3, respectively. Erichsen cupping tests were conducted to assess the formability of the sheet samples under different initial conditions. The results showed that the PS sample heat-treated at 250 °C for 1hr exhibited a decrease in the Erichsen index (IE) compared to the as-rolled sample, whereas PSA2 and PSA3 samples showed an increase in IE values. Microtexture analysis revealed that most of the TTWs generated through pre-twinning were stable at 250 °C; however, the twin volume fraction reduced to 41% at 350 °C compared to the PS samples due to enhanced thermal activity at that temperature. Furthermore, PSA2 samples showed severe grain coarsening in some areas of the sample, and the fraction of such grains increased in the PSA3 samples. The stretch formability (IE value) of PSA2 samples showed a 32.3% increase compared to the as-rolled specimens. Additionally, the analysis of the deformed specimen at failure under the Erichsen test indicated that considerable detwinning occurs in the PS and PSA1 samples, whereas dislocation slip activity dominates in the PSA2 and PSA3 samples during stretch forming. Apart from detwinning and dislocation slip, deformation twins were also observed in all samples after the Erichsen test. Thus, this work highlights the importance of texture control and its underlying mechanisms via pre-twinning followed by heat treatment and their impact on the room temperature (RT) stretch formability of AZX311 Mg alloy sheets.

Abstract This study describes the Korea Meteorological Administration/National Institute of Meteorological Sciences (KMA/NIMS) Atmospheric Research Aircraft (NARA) and its observational data archive. NARA has been performing annual observation flights, which are aimed at reducing the uncertainty of atmospheric observations in the observation data gap area around the Korean peninsula, since January 2018. An online system has also been constructed to provide data management, transmission, quality control and simple visualization. The mission strategy of NARA is subdivided into four individual units, namely observations of severe weather (SW), climate monitoring (CM), environmental monitoring (EM) and cloud physics and weather modification experiments (CP). As of December 2020, NARA has been launched operationally for 325 flights (corresponding to 9.02 flights per month), typically over the West Sea, mid‐inland areas (34.4% and 25.4%, respectively), and below an altitude of 3 km (51.9%). Abstract Background The repressor element-1 silencing transcription factor (REST), a master transcriptional repressor, is essential for maintenance, self-renewal, and differentiation in neuroblastoma. An elevated expression of REST is associated with impaired neuronal differentiation, which results in aggressive neuroblastoma formation. E3 ligases are known to regulate REST protein abundance through the 26 S proteasomal degradation pathway in neuroblastoma. However, deubiquitinating enzymes (DUBs), which counteract the function of E3 ligase-mediated REST protein degradation and their impact on neuroblastoma tumorigenesis have remained unexplored. Methods We employed a CRISPR/Cas9 system to perform a genome-wide knockout of ubiquitin-specific proteases (USPs) and used western blot analysis to screen for DUBs that regulate REST protein abundance. The interaction between USP3 and REST was confirmed by immunoprecipitation and Duolink in situ proximity assays. The deubiquitinating effect of USP3 on REST protein degradation, half-life, and neuronal differentiation was validated by immunoprecipitation, in vitro deubiquitination, protein-turnover, and immunostaining assays. The correlation between USP3 and REST expression was assessed using patient neuroblastoma datasets. The USP3 gene knockout in neuroblastoma cells was performed using CRISPR/Cas9, and the clinical relevance of USP3 regulating REST-mediated neuroblastoma tumorigenesis was confirmed by in vitro and in vivo oncogenic experiments. Results We identified a deubiquitinase USP3 that interacts with, stabilizes, and increases the half-life of REST protein by counteracting its ubiquitination in neuroblastoma. An in silico analysis showed a correlation between USP3 and REST in multiple neuroblastoma cell lines and identified USP3 as a prognostic marker for overall survival in neuroblastoma patients. Silencing of USP3 led to a decreased self-renewal capacity and promoted retinoic acid-induced differentiation in neuroblastoma. A loss of USP3 led to attenuation of REST-mediated neuroblastoma tumorigenesis in a mouse xenograft model. Conclusion The findings of this study indicate that USP3 is a critical factor that blocks neuronal differentiation, which can lead to neuroblastoma. We envision that targeting USP3 in neuroblastoma tumors might provide an effective therapeutic differentiation strategy for improved survival rates of neuroblastoma patients.

The mechanical behavior of a magnesium alloy E-form under bending was investigated using the elasto-visco-plastic polycrystal model (ΔEVPSC) and its finite element (FE) implementation (ΔEVPSC-FE) developed in Jeong et al. and Jeong and Tomé. The crystallographic orientation distribution (COD) obtained from X-ray diffraction was used to represent the initial texture, and the Voce hardening parameters were calibrated by fitting the uniaxial tension and the compression flow stress curves. A quasi-static FE analysis of a miniaturized V-bending operation was conducted using the ΔEVPSC-FE model. The bending induced an inhomogeneous stress response along the through-thickness and the lateral directions, which was well captured by the model. Moreover, the predictive capability of the model was validated by comparing with various experimental results such as (1) force vs. displacement curves; (2) the through-thickness variations in the twin volume fraction; and (3) the changes in crystallographic texture as a function of displacement. Additional bending simulation was performed using an isotropic texture, the result of which suggests that the potential improvement in bendability of the magnesium alloy is attainable by weakening the initial texture. Moreover, the simulation results imply that the crystallographic texture, which may affect the twin activation across the thickness direction, plays a significant role in the shifting direction of the neutral layer.

ABSTRACT The coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic persisted for 3 years and is now transitioning to endemicity. We illustrated the change in group immunity induced by vaccination (monovalent vaccines) and breakthrough infections (BIs) in a healthcare worker (HCW) cohort. Five sampling points were analyzed: before the third dose and 1, 3, 5, and 8 months after the vaccination. The last two points corresponded roughly to 1 and 4 months after omicron BA.1/BA.2 BI. A semi-quantitative anti-spike binding antibody (Sab) assay and plaque reduction neutralization test (PRNT) against circulating variants were conducted. A linear regression model was utilized to deduce correlation equations. Baseline characteristics and antibody titers after the third dose were not different between 106 HCWs with or without BI (54/52). One month after the third dose, BA.1 PRNT increased with wild-type (WT), but 3 months after the third dose, it decreased more rapidly than WT PRNT. After BI, BA.1 PRNT increased robustly and waned slower than WT. A linear equation of waning kinetics was deduced between log10Sab and months, and the slope became gradual after BI. The estimated BA.5 PRNT titers at the beginning of the BA.5 outbreak were significantly higher than the BA.1 PRNT titers of the initial BA.1/BA.2 wave, which might be associated with the smaller size of the BA.5 wave. BA.1/BA.2 BI after the third dose elicited robust and broad neutralizing activity, preferentially maintaining cross-neutralizing longevity against BA.1 and BA.5. The estimated kinetics provide an overview of group immunity through the third vaccination and BA.1/BA.2 BI, correlating with the actual outbreaks. IMPORTANCE This study analyzed changes in group immunity induced by coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination and BA.1/BA.2 breakthrough infections (BIs) in a healthcare worker cohort. We investigated the longitudinal kinetics of neutralizing antibodies against circulating variants and confirmed that BA.1/BA.2 BIs enhance the magnitude and durability of cross-neutralization against BA.1 and BA.5. Correlation equations between semi-quantitative anti-spike antibody and plaque reduction neutralization test titers were deduced from the measured values using a linear regression model. Based on the equations, group immunity was estimated to last up to 11 months following the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The estimated group immunity suggests that the augmented immunity and flattened waning slope through BI could correlate with the overall outbreak size. Our findings could provide a better understanding to establish public health strategies against future endemicity.

In this study, the deformation bands (DBs) in AA1100 after plane forging (PF) and return-plane forging (R-PF) during multi-axis diagonal forging (MADF) were observed using microtexture analysis. Typical texture components (plane-strain texture components) observed in face-centered cubic (FCC) materials deformed by plane-strain compression were developed in the PF specimen. Blurry bands with an orientation relationship of mainly LAGBs were developed in the deformed grains in the PF specimen. Slip trace analysis and Schmid factor (SF) calculations revealed the correlation between the blurry bands and the slip behavior. Regions of matrix and DBs inside the deformed grains of the R-PF specimen were distinguished mostly by their HAGBs. The heterogeneity of the Taylor factor (M) values that occurred within the blurry bands and their surrounding regions induced the development of the DBs in the R-PF specimen. The heterogeneities of the deformation behavior between the inside and the outside of the blurry bands that developed in the grains of the PF specimen during the R-PF were a direct reason for the generation of DBs in the deformed grains of the R-PF specimen. The transmission-EBSD (t-EBSD) technique revealed that the average misorientation angle inside the DBs was higher than that inside the matrix.

Photoconductive semiconductor switch (PCSS) allowing side illumination was fabricated on high purity semi-insulating (HPSI) 4H-SiC. A 532-nm pulsed laser with variable optical energy was used to trigger the PCSS. The performance of the PCSS was characterized under the two different load conditions, 50- $\Omega $ load and 0.05- $\Omega $ , with a current viewing resistor (CVR). The PCSS exhibited significantly different output characteristics for the two different loads. The equivalent resistance of the PCSS with the 50- $\Omega $ load, which was calculated from the output voltage and current, was inversely proportional to the optical energy, but the one with a 0.05- $\Omega $ load exhibited saturation behavior with the optical energy. While the times at peak output with the 50- $\Omega $ load were similar at various optical energies, the times at peak output with the 0.05- $\Omega $ load were dependent on the optical energy. Output current oscillation was also observed after the PCSS was turned off in the case of 0.05- $\Omega $ load condition. The different output characteristics for the different load resistances were analyzed using the transient response of the equivalent circuits. The PCSS exhibited a minimum on-state resistance of $0.27~\Omega $ with the optical energy of 8 mJ and a maximum output current of 657 A at the bias voltage of 4.8 kV. The operating voltage of the PCSS was limited by surface flashover, which caused an additional output pulse following the first output pulse.

With the emergence and rapid spread of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) Delta and Omicron variants, escaping vaccine-induced immunity is a concern. Three vaccination schedules, homologous or heterologous, have been initially applied due to an insufficient supply of vaccines in Korea. We investigated neutralizing activities against Omicron and Delta variants in each schedule. Three schedules using three doses of the BNT162b2 (BNT) or the ChAdOx1 (ChAd) vaccines include ChAd-ChAd-BNT, ChAd-BNT-BNT, and BNT-BNT-BNT. Neutralizing activities were evaluated using plaque-reduction neutralization test (PRNT) against wild type (WT) SARS-CoV-2, Delta variant, and Omicron variant. A total of 170 sera from 75 participants were tested, and the baseline characteristics of participants were not significantly different between groups. After the 2nd vaccine dose, geometric mean titers of PRNT ND50 against WT, Delta, and Omicron were highest after ChAd-BNT vaccination (2,463, 1,097, and 107) followed by BNT-BNT (2,364, 674, and 38) and ChAd-ChAd (449, 163, and 25). After the 3rd dose of BNT, the increase of PRNT ND50 against WT, Delta, and Omicron was most robust in ChAd-ChAd-BNT (4,632, 988, and 260), while the BNT-BNT-BNT group showed the most augmented neutralizing activity against Delta and Omicron variants (2,315 and 628). ChAd-BNT-BNT showed a slight increase of PRNT ND50 against WT, Delta, and Omicron (2,757, 1,279, and 230) compared to the 2nd dose. The results suggest that a 3rd BNT booster dose induced strengthened neutralizing activity against Delta and Omicron variants. The waning of cross-reactive neutralizing antibodies after the 3rd dose and the need for additional boosting should be further investigated.

The long and large-diameter uncharged hole-boring (LLB) method is a cut-blasting method used to reduce vibration induced by blasting. This method typically involves creating an uncharged hole with a 382 mm diameter and drilling 50 m in the tunnel excavation direction at a time. This method is reported to provide relatively good vibration reduction and with high blasting efficiency through short hole blasting compared to traditional cut methods. In this study, an advanced LLB method incorporating deck charge blasting was investigated to improve the blasting efficiency during long hole blasting. Numerical analysis was performed via ANSYS LS-DYNA to investigate the effectiveness of the deck charge technique. In the original LLB method, explosives were used to break the rocks more finely, and the fragmented rocks were concen trated at the end of the blast holes. On the contrary, the modified LLB, in which two-part explosives were loaded into the blast holes, is expected to push the fragmented rocks to the tunnel face more effectively than the original LLB method. Therefore, it is expected that the proposed LLB method combined with a deck charge technique can achieve superior blasting efficiency.

Dropsonde-based sensible heat flux, latent heat flux, and buoyancy flux were estimated over the sea around the Korean Peninsula in 2021. During a preceding severe weather (SW) mission, a total of 243 dropsondes were released from a National Institute of Meteorological Sciences (NIMS) Atmospheric Research Aircraft (NARA). The heat fluxes were indirectly validated by comparison with model-based heat fluxes. The sensible heat flux calculated by the bulk transfer method depended entirely on the temperature difference between the sea level and atmosphere, whereas the latent heat flux was mainly affected by wind speed. Boundary layer heights above 800 m are closely related to buoyancy flux, which is greater in regions with higher sea surface temperatures. Furthermore, the utility of the dropsonde was confirmed in the marine atmospheric boundary layer (MABL) growth, which is difficult to observe in situ and, a relationship was proposed for estimating MABL based on mean meteorological data over the sea level.

In this study, the texture of a rolled Mg alloy is effectively modified through the application of precompression and subsequent annealing treatment, leading to a remarkable improvement in the bending formability of the alloy at room temperature. Precompression induces lattice reorientation through {10–12} twinning, and annealing treatment reduces the stored strain energy of the precompressed material, which results in the formation of a stable grain structure with two dominant texture components. With an increase in precompression, the tensile strain in the outer region of the bending samples is accommodated to a greater extent due to more pronounced {10–12} twinning and basal slip. As a result, the bending formability of the material at room temperature improves with greater precompression. The variation in microstructure, texture, and bending behavior in relation to the degree of precompression is discussed in detail. Keywords: Magnesium, Bending, Formability, Twinning, Texture

The Structure des Echanges Mer-Atmosphère, Propriétés Océaniques/ Recherche Expérimentale (SEMAPHORE) experiment was conducted over the oceanic Azores current located in the Azores Basin. The evolution of the marine atmospheric boundary layer (MABL) was studied based on the evaluation of mean and turbulent data using in situ measurements by a ship and two aircrafts. The sea surface temperature (SST) field was characterized by a gradient of approximately 1 °C/100 km. The SST measured by aircraft decreased at a ratio of 0.25 °C/100 m of altitude due to the divergence of the infrared radiation flux from the surface. With the exception of temperature, the mean parameters measured by the two aircrafts were in good agreement with each other. The sensible heat flux was more dispersed than the latent heat flux according to the comparisons between aircraft and aircraft, and aircraft and ship. This study demonstrates the feasibility of using two aircraft to describe the MABL and surface flux with confidence.

Mouse embryonic stem cells (ESCs) are maintained in serum with leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF) to maintain self-renewal and pluripotency. Recently, a 2i culture method was reported using a combination of MEK inhibition (MEKi) and GSK3 inhibition (GSK3i) with LIF to maintain ESCs in a naive ground state. How 2i maintains a ground state of ESCs remains elusive. Here we show that MEKi and GSK3i maintain the ESC ground state by downregulating global DNA methylation through two distinct mechanisms. MEK1 phosphorylates JMJD2C for ubiquitin-mediated protein degradation. Therefore, MEKi increased JMJD2C protein levels but decreased DNMT3 expression. JMJD2C promotes TET1 activity to increase 5-hydroxymethylcytosine (5hmC) levels. GSK3i suppressed DNMT3 expression, thereby decreasing DNA methylation without affecting 5hmC levels. Furthermore, 2i increased PRDM14 expression to inhibit DNMT3A/B protein expression by promoting G9a-mediated DNMT3A/B protein degradation. Collectively, 2i allows ESCs to maintain a naive ground state through JMJD2C-dependent TET1 activation and PRDM14/G9a-mediated DNMT3A/B protein degradation.

Rain attenuation can hinder the implementation of quantitative precipitation estimations using X-band weather radar. Numerous studies have been conducted on correcting the attenuation of radar reflectivity by utilizing a dual-polarimetric radar and an arbitrary-oriented microwave link; however, there is a need to optimize the required number of microwave links and their locations. In this study, we tested four attenuation correction methods and proposed a novel algorithm based on the sole use of adjacent multiple microwave links. The attenuation of the X-band radar reflectivity was corrected by performing forward iterations at each link, and the correction coefficients were statistically analyzed to reduce the instability problem. The algorithms of each method were evaluated by studying the cases of convective and stratiform rainfall, and then validated by comparing the corrected reflectivity of the X-band radar with the qualitatively controlled reflectivity of the S-band radar. The new method was as efficient as the conventional method based on the specific differential phase of dual-polarimetric radar. Furthermore, the correction coefficient was more effectively optimized and stabilized using seven microwave links rather than a single link, and no further independent reference data were required. In addition, the attenuation correction also accounted for spatiotemporal differentiation depending on the rainfall type, and could recover the physical structure of the rainfall. The method developed herein can facilitate estimations of quantitative rainfall in developing countries where dual-polarization weather radars are not common. The exploitation of microwave link data is a promising method for rainfall remote sensing.

The three-dimensional wind field (WPR3D) and the multiple WPR3D (M-WPR3D) associated with the passage of a stationary front was derived from observations made by a network of eight wind profiler radars (WPR) being operated by the Korea Meteorological Administration during the summer “Jangma” season. The effectiveness of the WPR3D was determined through numerical model analysis and wind profilers at three sites, and the accuracy of the M-WPR3D was validated by comparing the trajectory of the radiosonde. The discontinuity of the wind field near the frontal interface was clearly retrieved and the penetration of the air mass in the southern front was detected. Compared with either the wind vector of three single wind profiler or a local data assimilation and predication system, the WPR3D wind field showed a wind speed accuracy of approximately 70% at an altitude of 1.5 km and underestimated the wind speed by 0.5−1.5 m s−1. The M-WPR3D with three S-band Doppler radars successfully retrieved the backing wind field as well as the pre-Jangma-frontal jet. The results of this study showed that severe weather can be effectively analyzed using a three-dimensional wind field generated on the basis of a remote sensing network.

In this work, sensible heat flux estimated using a bulk transfer method was validated with a three-dimensional ultrasonic anemometer or surface layer scintillometer at various sites. Results indicate that it remains challenging to obtain temperature and wind speed at an appropriate reference height. To overcome this, alternative observations using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) were considered. UAV-based wind speed and sensible heat flux were indirectly estimated and atmospheric boundary layer (ABL) height was then derived using the sensible heat flux data. UAV-observed air temperature was measured by attaching a temperature sensor 40 cm above the rotary-wing of the UAV, and UAV-based wind speed was estimated using attitude data (pitch, roll, and yaw angles) recorded using the UAV’s inertial measurement unit. UAV-based wind speed was close to the automatic weather system-observed wind speed, within an error range of approximately 10%. UAV-based sensible heat flux estimated from the bulk transfer method corresponded with sensible heat flux determined using the eddy correlation method, within an error of approximately 20%. A linear relationship was observed between the normalized UAV-based sensible heat flux and radiosonde-based normalized ABL height.

Eight microwave links operating at frequencies ranging from 6 to 8 GHz and with path lengths ranging from 5.7 to 37.4 km traversing the city of Seoul, Korea are used to detect rainfall and estimate path-averaged rainfall rates. Rainfall detection using rain-induced attenuation (dB) was validated by rain detectors installed at automatic weather stations, and the results confirmed that microwave links can be used to detect rainfall with an accuracy ≥80%. The power-law R-k relationships between rain-induced specific attenuation, k (dB km−1), and the rainfall rate, R (mm h−1), were established and cross-validated by estimating the path-averaged rainfall rate. The mean bias of the path-averaged rainfall rate, as compared to the rainfall rate from ground rain gauges, was between −3 and 1 mm h−1. The improved accuracy of rainfall detection led to the improved accuracy of the path-averaged rainfall rate. Hence, it was confirmed that microwave links, used for broadcasting and media communications, can identify rainy or dry periods (rain spells or dry spells) in a way comparable to rain detectors and provide high time-resolution rainfall rates in real time.

Purpose We assessed the proportion of patients with a focal intrahepatic stricture (FIHS) that was a precursor lesion or malignancy and visualized only as a duct dilatation. Materials and Methods This retrospective study assessed patients who underwent surgery or biopsy for an FIHS on CT or MRI between January 2010 and March 2022. The number and proportion of non-precursor benign lesions, precursors, and malignancies were calculated. Clinical variables and imaging features were compared between non-premalignant benign and premalignant/malignant FIHSs. Results Twenty-eight patients with confirmed histopathological diagnoses were identified, including 15 men (54.0%) and 13 women (46.0%). The median age of all patients at the first imaging diagnosis was 65 ± 9.54 (range, 43-78) years. Of the 28 patients with FIHSs, 9 (32%) were diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma and 7 (25%) were diagnosed with precursor lesions, which included six intraductal papillary neoplasms of the bile duct and one biliary intraepithelial neoplasm. Accordingly, 16 (57%) patients had malignant or precursor lesions, and 12 (43%) were diagnosed with non-precursor benign lesions. None of the clinical variables and imaging features used for analysis showed a statistically significant difference between the non-premalignant benign and premalignant/malignant FIHS groups (p > 0.05). This paper revisits the "deflationary" line of criticism that had been raised against the theory of event presented in Alain Badiou's Being and Event. This line of criticism questions the Badiouian claim to have provided a theorization of radical novelty and change, suggesting that events and their consequences may be more banal than is assumed by the account of change based on truths, elaborated in Badiou's great ontological treatise. Advancing a version of deflationary criticism, this paper proposes that there are important matters left unclear in the settheoretical ontology of Badiou's magnum opus that become particularly relevant when the categories such as void, event, and truth are deployed in analyses of specific and concrete extra-ontological situations. Exploiting some of those ambiguities, it will be argued that the theorization of change due to post-evental truths in Being and Event does not adequately establish the universality of the truths that, for Badiou, must commence with events. This is problematic for the Badiouian account of change because universality, or what Badiou's ontological discourse terms "genericity," is the property of truths that is supposed to ensure their transformative potential. Pulmonary artery sarcomas are rare, high-grade malignancies, primarily affecting the proximal elastic pulmonary artery and usually manifesting as tumoral impaction on imaging. Due to similar clinical and imaging findings, pulmonary artery sarcomas are frequently misdiagnosed as pulmonary thromboembolism or, occasionally, as vasculitis. Herein, we reported a case of pulmonary artery intimal sarcoma initially misdiagnosed as pulmonary thromboembolism and vasculitis due to its relatively atypical location and morphology, along with a literature review.
