Biology learning activities are mostly carried out in practicum, so that students can understand correctly the concepts presented. This is different when the COVID-19 pandemic sweeps across the world without preparing Indonesia. This condition has an impact on all aspects of life, including the teaching and learning process of biology. The low learning outcomes carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic are thought to be because students tend to be easily discouraged and lazy to understand the concepts applied in learning boldly. This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and student biology learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 5 Banjarbaru, during the COVID-19 Pandemic. This quantitative research uses a non-probability technique, namely a saturated sample or often called total sampling. The research sample was 8th grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Banjarbaru, totalling 30 students. The data collection used in this research is using a personal questionnaire. Simple regression analysis was performed using SPSS 20.0. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive relationship between emotional intelligence and learning outcomes of biology students at SMP Negeri 5 Banjarbaru, as evidenced by the regression results Y = 48.724 + 0.655 X which is positive in the constant results. Introduction: The spread of the COVID-19 virus is increasing, especially in Kampung Tenun, Topa Village, Baubau. Women take a big role in ensuring the health of the family. All information that is a source of improving family health becomes part of the role of women as wives, mothers and children. The purpose of this activity is to ensure that women have the correct information about COVID-19 so that their families are well educated and healthy during the pandemic. Methods: The implementation of the activity uses the community participation method with indicators of community participation in activities, namely first through counseling about covid-19 and how to prevent it, a dissertation on pre-posttest evaluation, hand washing practices and fitness exercise activities for 60 minutes with an instructor. participants totaled 30 people. The results of the counseling activity showed that after receiving counseling related to Covid-19 prevention, there was an increase in the knowledge of the women of the Topa Village Weaving Village, being able to practice good and correct hand washing and enthusiastically participating in counseling activities. fitness training hopes to become a resident's routine. We hope that activities involving women must be sustainable because women's role is very large for health starting at home (family).

Introduction: Diabetes care is complex, requiring long-term care and support. Diabetics face challenges in managing themselves by making the right decisions every day, so people with diabetes mellitus often experience decreased motivation, hopelessness decreased capacity to manage diabetes and, difficulty reducing habits or routines that take. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship of self-efficacy, compliance and family support with self-management of people with DMT2. Methods: The design of this study is a cross-sectional approach. The relationship between one and several variables is expressed by the magnitude of the correlation coefficient and statistical significance. The research population was 165 people, the sample size based on Isaac & Michael's table with an error rate of 10% was 103 respondents. The sampling technique is done by non-probability sampling that is purposive sampling. Results: The results showed that there was a significant relationship between self-efficacy (P-Value 0.042), compliance (P-Value 0.001) and family support (P-Value 0.035), with self-management. Conclusions: Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that in this study self-management of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus was associated with self-efficacy, compliance and family support. DMT2 sufferers who have good self-efficacy will help them in managing self-management well, as well as compliant DMT2 patients will also have good self-management. Good family support for people with DMT2 will have a good impact on their self-management.

Individuals who become elderly will experience physical changes from their initial body condition to being very weak. The declining conditions experienced by the elderly tend to cause physical and psychological health problems and dissatisfaction in life. The purpose of this study is to analyze counseling and dhikr intervention on the attitude of self-acceptance of the elderly. An experimental design using pre-test and post-test control groups was conducted among 30 elderly people living in nursing homes with the inclusion criteria of being able to communicate well, not deaf, not cognitively impaired, or depressed. Participants were randomly allocated, to the intervention group at Nursing Home of Jambangan and the control group at Nursing Home of Hargo Dedali in Surabaya Indonesia. Measurement of self-acceptance was carried out twice through a questionnaire, namely before the counseling and dhikr intervention and 8 weeks after. Data were analyzed using paired t-test. The results showed that there is pre-post differences in the group that received counseling and dhikr intervention (p-value = 0.000). The participants in the intervention group showed an increase in self-acceptance while in the control group there is no significant difference with a p-value of 0.937. Religious support for dhikr and counseling needs to be carried out intensively for the elderly as religious activities can provide a sense of peace, surrender, and surrender to Allah Almighty. The combination of counseling and dhikr is an effort to improve oneself spiritually and has a positive correlation with the attitude of self-acceptance of the elderly living in nursing homes. Institutions where services for the elderly can contribute to the elderly living in nursing homes by carrying out programmatic activities, namely counseling, especially for the elderly who have just entered special institutions for the elderly, spiritual approaches also need to be improved both in groups and individuals such as prayer, dhikr, and worship. others according to ability. A very important contribution is the guidance carried out by cleric so that elderly worship is more focused. This is an effort so that the elderly can accept the conditions they are facing and can accept themselves living in the orphanage.

Psychoeducation is an effort to prevent maternal anxiety which should be integrated into maternal health services. Puskesmas (Community Health Center) Sukorejo 1 Kendal in collaboration with Motherhope Indonesia held an online training program and psychoeducation for pregnant women for midwives. However, there are no reports related to the implementation of online training for the midwife to increase their knowledge and skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of psychoeducation online training for midwives during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method applied qualitative research with a case study approach. The informants in this study were 1 head of the Puskesmas and 5 midwives. Data collection used online interviews (synchronous and asynchronous) and the WhatsApp platform. The interview guide was used as a guide for interviews that were previously conducted by pilot interviews. The data was then analyzed using thematic analysis with the Miles and Huberman framework. It can be concluded that the benefits of training could be felt by midwives, namely improving mental health literacy, enhancing skill, and changing the midwife’s paradigm. So, needed to improve the online training method of midwives about psychoeducation to rise the psychoeducation midwife’s role for a pregnant woman.

A high population of Crocidolomia pavonana larvae reduces Brassicaceae crop productivity. To control the pest population, mixed plant extract as botanical insecticides is one of the alternatives. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the joint action between mixed extracts of Azadirachta indica and Barringtonia asiatica seed extracts against C. pavonana larvae and the effect on feeding behavior. The seeds are extracted with ethanol using the maceration method. Bioassays are conducted by a feeding method. Each level of concentration tested and controlled is repeated five times. The concentration-mortality relationship is analyzed using probit. Feeding behavior assayed by choice and no-choice at concentrations equivalent to LC25, LC50, and LC75. The results show the mixture of A. indica and B. asiatica seed extract at a ratio of 3:2.3 has a strongly synergistic action with an LC50 of 0.04% and a combination index of 0.27. The extract mixture at a concentration of 0.02-0.08% is reduced feeding activity 77.16-92.84%. Further research is needed to evaluate the extract mixture in the field.

Degenerative disease is a disease that has a large number of sufferers in Indonesia and throughout the world, one of the causes of many sufferers of degenerative diseases such as diabetes and cancer is the large amount of exposure to free radicals in the body as a result of an unhealthy lifestyle. Antioxidant compounds are one of the chemical compounds that can be used and utilized to inhibit the oxidation process as a result of the presence of free radicals, so that the incidence of degenerative diseases can be suppressed. In this study, the active extraction and fractionation process from Macaranga magna Turrill leaves which have antioxidant activity and can be developed as a compound inhibiting the oxidation process of free radicals using the chromatographic method, as well as testing the antioxidant activity using the free radical inhibition method 1,1-diphenyl-2- picrylhydrazyl (DPPH). Preliminary test results of antioxidant activity on the methanol extract of Macaranga magna Turrill leaves are known that this plant has potential as an antioxidant with an IC50 value of 11.13 ?g/mL, this is also supported by the test results of total flavonoids 19.47 mg QE/g extract and total phenol 37, 77 mg GAE/g extract.

BACKGROUND: PSN 3 M Plus is a long-running program in Indonesia for the prevention and control of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF). AIM: This study aimed to determine the knowledge, behavior, attitudes, and beliefs of the community toward PSN 3 M Plus in preventing and controlling the spread of DHF. METHODS: A cluster random sampling method was used to recruit 200 respondents in endemic areas and 100 respondents in sporadic locations of Indonesia from August 2020 to February 2021. The respondents were interviewed directly by interviewers and the relationships between demographics and characteristics with the practice of PSN 3M Plus prevention behavior on the incidence of DHF were analyzed. RESULTS: Most respondents had good knowledge regarding the cause of DHF. Although respondents recognized and understood the dangers of and how to control DHF, most did not follow PSN 3 M Plus and believed that fogging was the most effective control measure. There was a significant relationship between the characteristics of the respondents in terms of education, occupation, and attitude on vector control practice. CONCLUSION: Although community environmental modifications can be a cost-effective approach to reduce the incidence of DHF, there is a need to raise public awareness regarding preventive vector control measures as good knowledge does not guarantee good compliance with PSN 3M Plus recommendations.

Indonesia is a country with high earthquake potential. This potential has been realized by its stakeholders and other parties. Various methods from many researchers from the fields of geophysics, geology, seismology, geodesy, geotechnical engineering, and others have been discussed to arrange earthquake mitigation. However, the discussions are unable to fit all earthquake mitigations across the country because they are still limited to specific characteristics of each fault among thousands of faults in Indonesia. Seismic moment is a parameter that provides information on the energy released when an earthquake occurs. This parameter, in any given scale, can provide information about the earthquake recurrence interval. The earthquake recurrence interval referred to here means that during a certain time period, the area under study has the possibility of experiencing an identical earthquake or with a smaller magnitude. This study tries to offer and test the method of calculating earthquake recurrence interval based on seismic moments. The method tested in several case studies of earthquakes in East Kalimantan has acceptable results. The method in this research has advantages value and can be alternative method in earthquake disaster mitigation.

Background: Increased lipase activity can increase the amount of monoglycerides and fatty acids absorbed by the body, this is what affects obesity. If pancreatic lipase activity is inhibited, the production of fatty acids will decrease, consequently the level of fat in the blood will also decrease. Objective: To study anti obesity potential of a single herb or a mixture of green tea and other herbs (Syzygium polyanthum. Lv, Artocarpus communis.Lv, Cinnamomum verum..Lv, Manilkara zapota.Lv, Tectona grandis.Lv) by the in vitro inhibition assay of the lipase enzyme activity Method : A single (8 herbs) or a mixture of three herbs powder (12 formulas) was put into a tea bag with a total weight of 1.5 g to be brewed in 100 mL bottled mineral water at 70⁰-90⁰C for 10 minutes. In vitro lipase enzyme inhibition assay were conducted to measure the ability of these samples as lipase inhibitor. Orlistat used as positive lipase inhibitor. Results : There wa s a difference results of lipase inhibition activity between the sample of a single and a mixture of herbs. I nterestingly, the results shows that formula 3 (mixture of green tea, Manilkara zapota and cinnamon) . has 53.942 % inhibition , formula 9 ( a mixture of green tea, Syzygium polyanthum and cinnamon) has 67.322 % inhibition and formula 12 ( a mixture of green tea, Tectona grandis and cinnamon) has 56.612 % inhibition which close to lipase inhibitory activity by standard Orlistat. Conclusion: The mixture of green tea and two other herbs has a lipase inhibitory activity similar to Orlistat , when compared to the single herb. The highest lipase inhibitory activity is found in formula 9 .

During pregnancy, the fetal heart rate is a picture of the well-being of the fetus in the womb. The mother's position affects the results of the assessment when taking measurements of the fetal heart rate. The purpose of this study is to determine the accuracy of the measurement of fetal well-being based on the position of pregnant women. This type of research is analytic observational in Wajo Health Center, Katobengke Health Center, and Sulaa Health Center, from April - August 2019. The population in this study were all pregnant women registered in the KIA book. The research sample consisted of 60 respondents using inclusion criteria. The data analysis uses univariate analysis. The results showed there were differences in the value of the fetal heart rate measurements for each position. The average value (min-max) of DJJ measurement with the lying position (supine) 128-158 times per-minute, mean value 138.81 times per-minute; sitting position 124-158 times per-minute, mean value 143.41 times per-minute; standing position 126-159 times per-minute, mean value 145.58 times per minute. In a sitting and lying position, the resulting heart rate is in the normal range of 120-140 times per-minute; in a standing position, the heart rate obtained 150-160 times per-minute has the potential for tachycardia. The conclusion of this study is that the position of pregnant women affects the results of fetal heart rate measurement and the good position of the FHR measurement when lying on her back

Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) is defined as a condition in which a woman without diabetes develops abnormal glucose tolerance that is first recognized during pregnancy. GDM is a significant public health problem with an incidence of 1.9 – 3.6% of all pregnancies in Indonesia. Additionally, women with GDM during pregnancy have a high risk of developing diabetes when they are not pregnant, such as type 2 diabetes (T2D). One alternative variable in the management of T2D globally is gut microbiota. Here, to find out the role of gut microbiota in pregnancy, we characterized the stools of 30 pregnant women, each consisting of fifteen GDM-detected pregnant women, and healthy pregnant women using metagenomic approach with genome analysis by directly isolating genomic DNA from the microbiota ecosystem that occupies the digestive tract. DNA sequencing results were analyzed by MEGA 6 software with the BLASTn algorithm in NCBI. Thus fifteen GDM-detected showed high nucleotide sequence homology with the Proteobacteria at phylum level, and Escherichia, Orchobacterium, Cronobacter, Shigella, Salmonella, Enterobacter, Klebsiella, Kosakonia, Vibrio dan Gamma-Proteobacterium at genus level compared to the healthy pregnant women which found by Firmicutes at phylum level and Ruminococcus, Clostridium, Clostridiales, Lachnospiraceae, Roseburia, Weisella, Eubacterium at genus level had a higher abundance in healthy pregnant women. In this result, we found also one of the fifteen healthy pregnant women showed differential abundance with enrichment of Prevotella species. Gut microbiota of GDM-diagnosed pregnant women has more varied composition, and dominated by the phylum Proteobacteria than in normal pregnant women.
