The aim of this study was to compare the clinical value of vertebral artery ultrasound (VAU), Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA) and Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA) on vertebral artery stenosis in patients with posterior circulation ischemia. Seventy-three patients with posterior circulation ischemia underwent vertebral artery ultrasound and magnetic resonance angiography as well as digital subtraction angiography, and the diagnosis of vertebral artery stenosis (VAS) and the degree of stenosis (normal, mild stenosis, moderate stenosis, severe stenosis, and occlusion) were recorded and compared between digital subtraction angiogram and vertebral artery ultrasound and magnetic resonance angiography. The vertebral artery stenosis rates on digital subtraction angiography and vertebral artery ultrasound were 87.30 % (55/63) and 49.20 % (31/63), respectively, and the difference was statistically significant. The rates of vertebral artery stenosis on digital subtraction angiography and, magnetic resonance angiography was 90.38 % (47/52) and 88.46 % (46/ 52), respectively, and the differences was not statistically significant. The sensitivity, accuracy, negative predictive value, and positive predictive value of vertebral artery ultrasound in diagnosing vertebral artery stenosis were 51.35 %, 54.76 %, 18.18 %, and 95.00 %, respectively, lower than those of magnetic resonance angiography, which were 91.89 %, 90.48 %, 57.14 %, and 97.14 %, respectively. Of the noninvasive imaging techniques, vertebral artery ultrasound does not accurately characterize vertebral artery stenosis and its degree of stenosis. Magnetic resonance angiography effectively screens for vertebral artery stenosis and its degree of stenosis, and can be used as a reliable tool for vertebral artery stenosis in posterior circulation cerebral infarction, and can be used in conjunction with digital subtraction angiogram in order to improve diagnostic convenience and accuracy. Data-driven surrogate models that assist with efficient evolutionary algorithms to find the optimal development scheme have been widely used to solve reservoir production optimization problems. However, existing research suggests that the effectiveness of a surrogate model can vary depending on the complexity of the design problem. A surrogate model that has demonstrated success in one scenario may not perform as well in others. In the absence of prior knowledge, finding a promising surrogate model that performs well for an unknown reservoir is challenging. Moreover, the optimization process often relies on a single evolutionary algorithm, which can yield varying results across different cases. To address these limitations, this paper introduces a novel approach called the multi-surrogate framework with an adaptive selection mechanism (MSFASM) to tackle production optimization problems. MSFASM consists of two stages. In the first stage, a reduced-dimensional broad learning system (BLS) is used to adaptively select the evolutionary algorithm with the best performance during the current optimization period. In the second stage, the multi-objective algorithm, non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm II (NSGA-II), is used as an optimizer to find a set of Pareto solutions with good performance on multiple surrogate models. A novel optimal point criterion is utilized in this stage to select the Pareto solutions, thereby obtaining the desired development schemes without increasing the computational load of the numerical simulator. The two stages are combined using sequential transfer learning. From the two most important perspectives of an evolutionary algorithm and a surrogate model, the proposed method improves adaptability to optimization problems of various reservoir types. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, four 100-dimensional benchmark functions and two reservoir models are tested, and the results are compared with those obtained by six other surrogate-model-based methods. Objective: The objective of this study was to examine sex differences in the antidepressant and neurocognitive effects of adjunctive nonconvulsive electrotherapy (NET) in patients with treatment-refractory depression (TRD), which has not yet been thoroughly investigated. Methods: The study enrolled 20 patients with TRD, comprising 11 males and 9 females, who underwent a series of 6 NET sessions. The 17-item Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD-17) was used to assess depressive symptoms, response, and remission at baseline and after the first, third, and sixth NET sessions. The Wisconsin Card Sorting Test (WCST) was used to assess neurocognitive function at baseline and after the sixth NET session. Results: After completing 6 NET sessions, female patients experiencing TRD exhibited a higher inclination toward achieving an antidepressant response (77.8% vs. 45.5%, P=.197) and antidepressant remission (22.2% vs. 0%, P=.189) when compared to their male counterparts. No significant differences were observed in changes in the HAMD-17 and WCST subscale scores (all P > .05), including completing classification number, total error number, persistent error number, and random error number between males and females. Additionally, no significant correlations were observed between baseline WCST subscale scores and changes in HAMD-17 scores or endpoint scores, irrespective of sex (all P > .05). Conclusion: These pilot findings suggest that female patients with TRD exhibited increased rates of achieving antidepressant response and remission after undergoing NET. Purpose: To evaluate the capability of deep transfer learning (DTL) and fine-tuning methods in differentiating malignant from benign lesions in breast dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI). Methods: The diagnostic efficiencies of the VGG19, ResNet50, and DenseNet201 models were tested under the same dataset. The model with the highest performance was selected and modified utilizing three fine-tuning strategies (S1-3). Fifty additional lesions were selected to form the validation set to verify the generalization abilities of these models. The accuracy (Ac) of the different models in the training and test sets, as well as the precision (Pr), recall rate (Rc), F1 score (), and area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC), were primary performance indicators. Finally, the kappa test was used to compare the degree of agreement between the DTL models and pathological diagnosis in differentiating malignant from benign breast lesions. Results: The Pr, Rc, f1, and AUC of VGG19 (86.0%, 0.81, 0.81, and 0.81, respectively) were higher than those of DenseNet201 (70.0%, 0.61, 0.63, and 0.61, respectively) and ResNet50 (61.0%, 0.59, 0.59, and 0.59). After fine-tuning, the Pr, Rc, f1, and AUC of S1 (87.0%, 0.86, 0.86, and 0.86, respectively) were higher than those of VGG19. Notably, the degree of agreement between S1 and pathological diagnosis in differentiating malignant from benign breast lesions was 0.720 (κ = 0.720), which was higher than that of DenseNet201 (κ = 0.440), VGG19 (κ = 0.640), and ResNet50 (κ = 0.280). Conclusion: The VGG19 model is an effective method for identifying benign and malignant breast lesions on DCE-MRI, and its performance can be further improved via fine-tuning. Cyclin D1 is a key regulator of cell cycle progression, which forms a complex with CDK4/6 to regulate G1/S transition during cell cycle progression. Cyclin D1 has been recognized as an oncogene since it was upregulated in several different types of cancers. It is known that the post-translational regulation of cyclin D1 is controlled by ubiquitination/proteasome degradation system in a phosphorylation-dependent manner. Several cullin-associated F-box E3 ligases have been shown to regulate cyclin D1 degradation; however, it is not known if additional cullin-associated E3 ligases participate in the regulation of cyclin D1 protein stability. In this study, we have screened an siRNA library containing siRNAs specific for 154 ligase subunits, including F-box, SOCS, BTB-containing proteins, and DDB proteins. We found that multiple cullin-associated E3 ligases regulate cyclin D1 activity, including Keap1, DDB2, and WSB2. We found that these E3 ligases interact with cyclin D1, regulate cyclin D1 ubiquitination and proteasome degradation in a phosphorylation-dependent manner. These E3 ligases also control cell cycle progression and cell proliferation through regulation of cyclin D1 protein stability. The pyrolysis behaviors of Qingdao vacuum residue (QD-VR) and its SARA (saturates, aromatics, reins, and asphaltenes) fractions were evaluated by thermo-gravimetric with mass spectrometer (TG-MS). The pyrolysis kinetics were determined by Friedman, one-parallel and four-parallel distributed activation energy model (DAEM), respectively. The results indicated that the pyrolysis behavior of QD-VR was similar to that of aromatics. For saturates, the release of H2, CH4, CO, and CO2 occurred in 80–400 °C, while the temperature range for QD-VR and other fractions is 200–800 °C. The average activation energy (Ea) via Friedman method was 179.72 kJ/mol and increased with the conversion ratio. One-parallel Gaussian DAEM was more suitable to describe the pyrolysis process of the single SARA fractions, while four-parallel Gaussian DAEM was more suitable to describe the pyrolysis process of heavy oil. Furthermore, comparing the weighted Ea from one-parallel (227.64 kJ/mol) and four-parallel Gaussian DAEM (204.63 kJ/mol), the results suggested that during pyrolysis process of heavy oil, there was an interaction between the SARA fractions, which could reduce the Ea of heavy oil pyrolysis. Specifically, during heavy oil pyrolysis, resins and asphaltenes could increase the Ea of saturates and aromatics, while saturates and aromatics could decrease the Ea of resins and asphaltenes. Permeability tests are performed by using the flexible wall permeameter to study the influence of bentonite-HDTMA (hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide) on the permeability performance of Loess as a lining material in the solid waste landfill. Results show, the impermeability of compacted Loess in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River in China does not meet the standard requirement as the landfill liner. The permeability of Loess mixed with more than 10% bentonite ratio is less than 1.0 × 10−7 cm·s−1. The permeability of Loess increases slightly after mixing a small amount of HDTMA. The impermeability of Loess mixed with some bentonite-HDTMA ratio still meet the standard requirement. The HDTMA may destroy the soil aggregate structure and increase the soil permeate channel. The SEMs show that the bentonite clay particle can fill the pores between Loess coarse particles and improve the impermeability performance of the material. The digital photos show that HDTMA can effectively resist the development of soil macro-cracks induced by wetting–drying cycles, better for liner to maintain good impermeability. On this basis, the relationship between the hydraulic conductivity of bentonite-HDTMA modified Loess and dry density is constructed. RNA N4-acetylcytidine (ac4C) modification is increasingly recognized as an important layer of gene regulation; however, the involvement of ac4C in pain regulation has not been studied. Here, we report that N-acetyltransferase 10 protein (NAT10; the only known ac4C "writer") contributes to the induction and development of neuropathic pain in an ac4C-dependent manner. Peripheral nerve injury increases the levels of NAT10 expression and overall ac4C in injured dorsal root ganglia (DRGs). This upregulation is triggered by the activation of upstream transcription factor 1 (USF1), a transcription factor that binds to the Nat10 promoter. Knock-down or genetic deletion of NAT10 in the DRG abolishes the gain of ac4C sites in Syt9 mRNA and the augmentation of SYT9 protein, resulting in a marked antinociceptive effect in nerve-injured male mice. Conversely, mimicking NAT10 upregulation in the absence of injury evokes the elevation of Syt9 ac4C and SYT9 protein and induces the genesis of neuropathic-pain-like behaviors. These findings demonstrate that USF1-governed NAT10 regulates neuropathic pain by targeting Syt9 ac4C in peripheral nociceptive sensory neurons. Poly(ionic liquid)s (PILs) are promising candidates used as solid electrolytes because of their excellent electro-chemical properties and improved processability. Introducing light-sensitive groups to PILs appears as an attractive strategy for developing novel smart PIL-based electronic devices. In this work, a new photoresponsive PIL-based solid electrolyte was prepared by blending PILs containing coumarin groups (COU-PILs) with polyvinylidene fluoride hexafluoropropylene. It was found that the ionic conductivity of COU-PIL solid electrolytes (COU-PIL SEs) can be reversibly modulated upon alternative 365 and 254 nm light irradiation. In particular, the COU-PIL SEs exhibit a highly reversible and repeatable manipulation of ionic conductivity with a maximum conductivity modulation of 95%. Background: Medical image processing tasks represented by multi-object segmentation are of great significance for surgical planning, robot-assisted surgery, and surgical safety. However, the exceptionally low contrast among tissues and limited available annotated data makes developing an automatic segmentation algorithm for pelvic CT challenging. Methods: A bi-direction constrained dual-task consistency model named PICT is proposed to improve segmentation quality by leveraging free unlabeled data. First, to learn more unmarked data features, it encourages the model prediction of the interpolated image to be consistent with the interpolation of the model prediction at the pixel, model, and data levels. Moreover, to constrain the error prediction of interpolation interference, PICT designs an auxiliary pseudo-supervision task that focuses on the underlying information of non-interpolation data. Finally, an effective loss algorithm for both consistency tasks is designed to ensure the complementary manner and produce more reliable predictions. Results: Quantitative experiments show that the proposed PICT achieves 87.18%, 96.42%, and 79.41% mean DSC score on ACDC, CTPelvic1k, and the individual Multi-tissue Pelvis dataset with gains of around 0.8%, 0.5%, and 1% compared to the state-of-the-art semi-supervised method. Compared to the baseline supervised method, the PICT brings over 3–9% improvements. Conclusions: The developed PICT model can effectively leverage unlabeled data to improve segmentation quality of low contrast medical images. Planting economic crops in soil with salt imbalances can improve land use efficiency. Hemp, which can be planted in low-salinity soil, is a crop with a very high economic value. To reveal the salt tolerance mechanism of hemp, the leaves of Longma #3 and #9 were collected at 0, 2, 4, and 6 days after salt stress in this study, and transcriptome and metabolome joint analysis were performed. The concentration of glutamic acid, succinic acid and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) was 12 times that of the control group. The large increase in succinic acid led to the maintenance of peroxidase and superoxide dismutase levels at normal values and a decrease in H2O2 and catalase. The enriched KEGG pathway citrate cycle (TCA cycle) contains the metabolic regulation of succinic acid. Succinic acid was positively correlated with the MAPK gene. The MAPK pathway is a key pathway of plant tolerance in a high-salt environment. Introduction: To compare the efficacy and safety of retroperitoneal laparoscopic adrenalectomy (RLA) vs. transperitoneal laparoscopic adrenalectomy (TLA) for pheochromocytoma (PHEO). Aim: To perform a systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the efficacy and safety of RLA versus TLA for PHEO. Material and methods: A systematic research of PubMed, Ovid, Scopus (up to June 2022), and citation lists was performed for all comparative eligible studies of RLA versus TLA for PHEO. Statistical analysis was performed using RevMan 5.4. Results: Overall, six studies including 597 patients (RLA 243; TLA 354) were included. RLA was associated with lower BMI compared to TLA (WMD = -0.81 kg/m2, 95% CI: -1.53 to -0.10; p = 0.03). RLA was associated with smaller tumor size (WMD = -0.90 cm, 95% CI: -1.59 to -0.20; p = 0.01). RLA was associated with shorter operative time (WMD = -34.58 min, 95% CI: -40.80 to -28.36; p < 0.001), lower EBL (WMD = -107.91 ml, 95% CI: -145.09, -70.74; p < 0.001), and a slightly higher HI rate (OR = 1.54, 95% CI: 1.03 to 2.29; p = 0.03). There were no statistically significant differences for complications (p = 0.71) and Clavien-Dindo score = 3 complications (p = 0.19) for RLA compared to TLA. RLA was associated with shorter length of hospital stay (WMD = -1.94 days, 95% CI: -2.60 to -1.29; p < 0.001). Conclusions: For selected PHEO patients, RLA has advantages in terms of operative time, EBL, and length of hospital stay, but the HI rate is higher. Interleukin 35 (IL-35), a cytokine secreted by regulatory T (Treg) cells from the differentiation of conventional CD4+ T cells, is a member of the IL-12 family. The IL-12 family of cytokines exhibits an anti-inflammatory property. IL-35 has recently been shown to influence the immune modulation in various diseases, including inflammatory bowel disease, Graves' disease, rheumatoid arthritis, colitis, psoriasis, and type 1 diabetes (T1D). T1D is an immune-related disease caused by destruction of pancreatic β cells, characterized by an absolute lack of insulin. Recently, studies have suggested that protective effects of IL-35 work by improving blood glucose levels and preventing an attack of inflammatory factors on the islets. The protective mechanism may be closely related to the anti-inflammatory properties of IL-35, which include regulating macrophage phenotype, suppressing T cell proliferation, decreasing the differentiation of Th17 cells, increasing the Treg cell population, and inducing IL-35-producing regulatory T cells (iTr35). The Pile movement is one of the most crucial matters in designing piles and foundations that need to be estimated for any project failure. Over the variables used in forecasting Pile Settlement, many methods have been introduced to appraise it. However, existing a wide range of theoretical strategies to investigate the pile subsidence, the soil-pile interactions are still ambiguous for academic researchers. Most studies have tried to work out the subsidence rate in piles after loading passing time by artificial intelligence methods. Generally, the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) has drawn attention to show the actual views of pile settlement over the loading phase vertically. This research aims to present the Hybrid Radial Basis Function neural network integrated with the Novel Arithmetic Optimization Algorithm and Biogeography-Based Optimization to calculate the optimal number of neurons embedded in hidden layers. The transportation network of Klang Valley, Mass Rapid Transit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, was chosen to analyze the piles' settlement and earth features using HRBF-AOA and HRBF-BBO scenarios. Over the prediction process, the R-values of HRBF-AOA and HRBF-BBO were obtained at 0.9825 and 0.9724, respectively. The MAE also shows a similar trend as 0.2837 and 0.323, respectively. Cutting edge radius is a crucial factor affecting surface integrity during metal machining, which determines product performance. However, the exact mechanism of how the cutting edge radius affects machined surface has not yet been understood, especially lacking in situ evidence during the material removal process. In this article, effects of cutting edge radius on surface roughness, subsurface deformation, and work hardening of nickel-based cast superalloy are studied through an in situ imaging approach. Based on continuous high-speed filming and digital imaging correlation (DIC) techniques, detailed chip formation and quantitative subsurface plastic deformation under various cutting edge radii are analyzed, and the formation of built-up edge (BUE) is observed when using a large edge radius. Furthermore, when the cutting edge radius is greater than the uncut chip thickness (h), the thickness of plastic deformation increases dramatically. On the other hand, the machined surface roughness can be improved when the cutting edge radius is between 30% and 60% of h. The sharp cutting tools or the cutting edge radius higher than 60% of h result in a poor surface quality on the machined surface during nickel-based cast superalloy machining. The effects of cutting edge radius on machined surface generation are systematically categorized as cutting with chipping, cutting with significant plowing, and cutting with plowing accompanied by BUE formation. The structure and growth of a series of Lu-doped germanium clusters, LuGen q (n = 2–14, q = 0, −1) have been investigated by previous photoelectron spectroscopy (PES) and density functional theory (DFT) calculations. The ground states of the anionic LuGen – clusters obtained from DFT calculations are verified by comparing simulated PES with experimental results. The simulated PES for smaller clusters LuGen – (n ≤ 6) display relatively simple spectral patterns, suggesting high symmetry structures. It is observed that the pentagonal bipyramid shape is the basic framework for the nascent growth process of LuGen – (n = 2–8). The structures of LuGen – (n = 2–13) clusters are all exohedral structures with the Lu atom adsorbed at the surface of the bare Gen – clusters, while LuGe14– is the smallest endohedral Lu-doped germanium cluster with the Lu atom completely fallen into the germanium frame. It is found that the LuGen – clusters with even n are more stable than those with odd n and in the LuGen clusters there is an opposite trend. Especially, the LuGen q (n = 9, 12, q = 0, −1) clusters are extremely stable compared to other size clusters. HOMO–LUMO gap shows that the chemical stability of bare Gen – (n = 2–14) clusters are stronger than that of LuGen q (n = 2–14, q = 0, −1) clusters owing to the doping of a Lu atom. Continental arcs grow primarily by addition of mantle-derived magmas, thus forming juvenile crust, although geophysical evidence, alongside field investigation of exhumed terranes, show that supracrustal rocks are common components of the lower portions of continental arcs. The mechanisms by which metasedimentary rocks are transported to the deep arc crusts and their contributions to the juvenile arc crusts are ambiguous. Here, we conduct a systematic petrological, geochronological, and geochemical study of pelitic migmatites within Late Cretaceous meta-gabbros from the lower crust of the eastern Gangdese arc, southern Tibet. Our results show that the pelitic migmatites were derived from the Late Carboniferous sedimentary rocks of the upper arc crust, have significantly enriched Sr-Nd-Hf-O isotopic compositions, and underwent Late Cretaceous (95--80 Ma) high-pressure granulite-facies metamorphism and partial melting at -850 °C and 15 kbar to generate voluminous granitic melts. This indicates that the eastern Gangdese arc underwent significant crustal thickening and chemical differentiation during the final stages of subduction of the NeoTethys. Background: To investigate the efficacy and safety of intravenous thrombolysis combined with mechanical stent interventional thrombectomy in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke. The patients enrolled were divided into control group (recombinant tissue plasminogen activator (rt-PA) intravenous thrombolysis) and thrombectomy group (mechanical stent interventional thrombectomy based on rt-PA intravenous thrombolysis). The vascular recanalization rate and clinical efficacy after treatment were compared between the two groups. National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) was used to identify the degree of neurological impairment in all patients before and after treatment, and Barthel Index was used to assess their activity of daily living. Moreover, the changes in the levels of T-lymphocyte subpopulation in peripheral blood and immuno-inflammatory factors before and after treatment were compared, and prognosis of patients and incidence of adverse reactions were recorded. Results: The response rate inthrombectomy group (93.2%) was significantly better than that in control group (76.3%). The NIHSS sore and modified Rankin scale (mRS) score after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment, while the Barthel Index after treatment was distinctly higher than that before treatment. The NIHSS score and mRS score in thrombectomy group obviously declined compared with those in control group at 1 month after treatment. The Barthel Index in thrombectomy group was obviously higher than that in control group at 1 month and 2 months after treatment. Levels of cluster of differentiation 3 (CD3)+, CD3+CD4+, CD4+/CD8+ and natural killer (NK) cells in peripheral blood at 6 months after treatment evidently rose compared with those before treatment, while level of CD3+CD8+ evidently declined compared with that before treatment. In thrombectomy group, levels of CD3+, CD3+CD4+, CD4+/CD8+ and NK cells were markedly higher than those in control group, while the level of CD3+CD8+ was markedly lower than that in control group. Besides, in thrombectomy group, levels of serum osteopontin (OPN), malondialdehyde (MDA) and N-termi-nal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) were evidently lower than those in control group at 1 month after treatment, while the level of serum superoxide dismutase (SOD) was evidently higher than that in control group. Compared with that in control group, the acute vascular re-occlusion rate in thrombectomy group was significantly decreased at 3 months after treatment (10.2% vs. 22.0%). Conclusions: Intravenous thrombolysis combined with mechanical stent interventional thrombectomy can effectively promote the vascular recanalization, improve the neurological function and activity of daily living of patients, reinforce the immunological function, inhibit the oxidative stress response and improve the prognosis of patients. Background: Glioma is the result of malignant transformation of glial cells in the white matter of the brain or spinal cord and accounts for approximately 80% of all intracranial malignancies. Cathepsin A (CTSA) is highly expressed in a variety of tumor tissues, but its role in glioma is poorly studied. This study analyses the relationship between CTSA, and glioma based on The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA). Methods: Data for glioma patients were collected from TCGA. The expression level of CTSA was compared between paired glioma tissues and normal tissues with Wilcoxon rank-sum test. In addition, the Wilcoxon rank-sum test was also applied to analyze the relationship between clinicopathologic features and CTSA expression. Kaplan-Meier Plotter was applied to analyze OS, DSS and PFI. Immuno-infiltration analysis of BLCA was performed by single sample gene set enrichment analysis (ssGSEA) in the »GSVA« R package. Results: The CTSA was overexpressed in glioma tissues compared to normal tissues (P<0.001). The high expression of CTSA was significantly related to 1p/19q codele-tion, IDH, WHO grade and histological type. Kaplan-Meier survival analysis showed that patients with glioma characterized with high expressed CTSA had a poorer OS (HR=2.16 P<0.001), DSS (HR=2.17 P<0.001) and PFI (HR=1.48 P<0.001) than patients with low CTSA expression. The Bessel-Legendre inequality plays an important role in stability analysis of linear systems with time-varying delays. However, various integral vectors inherited from the Bessel-Legendre inequality bring some challenging issues, such as the construction of suitable augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals (LKFs); high-degree polynomial estimation on the derivative of the chosen LKF. This paper offers an overview of recent developments on these issues. First, an instructive review on the construction of suitable augmented LKFs catering for the use of the Bessel-Legendre inequality is given in detail. Second, an in-depth analysis and insightful understanding of high-degree polynomial inequalities on closed intervals are made. In this study, the fatigue life prediction in hypersonic vehicle noise environment is researched under the structural vibration caused by the engine jet noise and the aerodynamic noise. A finite element analysis model is first established, and then natural frequency and vibration mode are obtained. According to the modal analysis, the vibroacoustic coupling calculation is finished in the dynamic analysis software. Modal participation factor, modal displacement, and the power spectral density of the stress response on the coupled surface are acquired. The finite element, border component, and vibrating stress analytical techniques are also employed in this research to predict the acoustical fatigue performance of the tail fins of a specific type of spacecraft. On the basis of vibration fatigue theory, identified material S–N curve, and linear cumulative damage theory, the Dirlik model in the frequency domain method for vibration fatigue is used to predict the fatigue life of empennage. According to the characteristics of the acoustic load, effects of the load characteristics, and damping ratios on the fatigue conditions, the design of the antifatigue design is put forward. Crotonaldehyde (CRA)—one of the major environmental pollutants from tobacco smoke and industrial pollution—is associated with vascular injury (VI). We used proteomics to systematically characterize the presently unclear molecular mechanism of VI and to identify new related targets or signaling pathways after exposure to CRA. Cell survival assays were used to assess DNA damage, whereas oxidative stress was determined using colorimetric assays and by quantitative fluorescence study; additionally, cyclooxygenase-2, mitogen-activated protein kinase pathways, Wnt3a, β-catenin, phospho-ErbB2, and phospho-ErbB4 were assessed using ELISA. Proteins were quantitated via tandem mass tag-based liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry and bioinformatics analyses, and 34 differentially expressed proteins were confirmed using parallel reaction monitoring, which were defined as new indicators related to the mechanism underlying DNA damage; glutathione perturbation; mitogen-activated protein kinase; and the Wnt and ErbB signaling pathways in VI based on Gene Ontology, Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes, and protein–protein interaction network analyses. Parallel reaction monitoring confirmed significant (p < 0.05) upregulation (> 1.5-fold change) of 23 proteins and downregulation (< 0.667-fold change) of 11. The mechanisms of DNA interstrand crosslinks; glutathione perturbation; mitogen-activated protein kinase; cyclooxygenase-2; and the Wnt and ErbB signaling pathways may contribute to VI through their roles in DNA damage, oxidative stress, inflammation, vascular dysfunction, endothelial dysfunction, vascular remodeling, coagulation cascade, and the newly determined signaling pathways. The roles of CTAB and Ag+ have been discovered and given us a deeper understanding of the seed-mediated method in the gold nanorods synthesis. Former work used binary surfactants CTAB + NaOL (sodium oleate) to greatly improve the dimensional tunability and monodispersity of gold nanorods. However, they only used a few of the concentration combinations of the binary surfactants, and the influence of NaOL under this method has not been systematically studied. In this work, we carried out systematic experiments under the variation of NaOL and used transmission electron microscopy and UV–vis-near-infrared spectroscopy to monitor the growth process of the gold nanorods. The results showed that the NaOL contributed to the symmetry breaking process. We discovered the ideal ranges of NaOL concentration under different concentrations of CTAB (10–40 mM). Lower concentrations of NaOL produced many impurities, such as Au spheres, while higher concentrations of NaOL led to the decrease of monodispersity of the obtained gold nanorods. Magmatic arcs are natural laboratories for studying the growth of continental crusts. The Gangdese arc, southern Tibet, is an archetypal continental magmatic arc that formed due to Mesozoic subduction of the Neo-Tethyan oceanic lithosphere; however, its formation and evolution remain controversial. In this contribution, we combine newly reported and previously published geochemical and geochronological data for Mesozoic magmatic rocks in the eastern Gangdese arc to reveal its magmatic and metamorphic histories and review its growth, thickening, and fractionation and mineralization processes. Our results show that: (1) the Gangdese arc consists of multiple Mesozoic arc-type magmatic rocks and records voluminous juvenile crustal growth. (2) The Mesozoic magmatic rocks experienced Late Cretaceous granulite-facies metamorphism and partial melting, thus producing hydrous and metallogenic element-rich migmatites that form a major component of the lower arc crust and are a potential source for the Miocene ore-hosting porphyries. (3) The Gangdese arc witnessed crustal thickening and reworking during the Middle to Late Jurassic and Late Cretaceous. (4) Crystallization-fractionation of mantle-derived magmas and partial melting of thickened juvenile lower crust induced intracrustal chemical differentiation during subduction. We suggest that the Gangdese arc underwent the following main tectonic, magmatic, and metamorphic evolution processes: normal subduction and associated mantle-derived magmatism during the Late Triassic to Jurassic; shallow subduction during the Early Cretaceous and an associated magmatic lull; and mid-oceanic ridge subduction, high-temperature metamorphism and an associated magmatic flare-up during the early Late Cretaceous, and flat subduction, high-temperature and high-pressure metamorphism, partial melting, and associated crust-derived magmatism during the late Late Cretaceous. Key issues for further research include the temporal and spatial distributions of Mesozoic magmatic rocks, the evolution of the components and compositions of arc crust over time, and the metallogenic processes that occur in such environments during subduction. Objectives: To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of directional dilation in transurethral columnar balloon dilation of the prostate (TUCBDP), and summarize relevant experience. Methods: Retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical data of 38 patients with prostatic hyperplasia admitted to the Department of Urology, The Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University from October 2017 to January 2020 who underwent TUCBDP with directional dilation (12 o’clock direction). Complications related to surgery including hemorrhage, urinary incontinence and pain were analyzed. Moreover, patients were followed up for six months postoperatively, and their preoperative and postoperative maximum urine flow rate (Qmax), residual bladder volume (PVR), international prostate symptom score (IPSS), and quality of life score (QoL) were compared. Results: Thirty-eight patients underwent TUCBDP successfully, with dilation positions all in the 12 o’clock direction and no ectopic dilation point. All patients had no severe hematuria postoperatively. Numeric rating scales (NRS) was utilized twice at 8h and 24hour postoperatively to score the pain degree, with no statistically significant difference (P=0.157). Hb was reexamined on the first day postoperatively, with no statistically significant difference compared with that preoperatively (P>0.05). The bladder irrigation time was 1-2 Day postoperatively, while the urethra was removed five days postoperatively, with no severe hematuria in all patients. Two patients developed mild urinary incontinence, which disappeared on the 2nd and 5th day after extubation, respectively, while no patients had dysuria and urinary retention. All 38 patients were detected for Qmax and PVR after urethral removal, with a statistically significant difference compared with those preoperatively (P<0.001), and were reexamined three months postoperatively for Qmax and PVR, with a statistically significant difference compared with those postoperatively (P<0.001); IPSS and QoL were significantly different from those preoperatively with statistically significance (P<0.001). At the follow-up six months postoperatively, Qmax, PVR and IPSS showed statistically significant differences compared with that at three months postoperatively (P<0.05), while QoL showed no statistically significant differences compared with that at 3 months postoperatively (P=0.088). As a predominately positive emotion, nostalgia serves various adaptive functions, including a recently revealed analgesic effect. The current fMRI study aimed to explore the neural mechanisms underlying the nostalgia-induced analgesic effect on noxious thermal stimuli of different intensities. Human participants' (males and females) behavior results showed that the nostalgia paradigm significantly reduced participants' perception of pain, particularly at low pain intensities. fMRI analysis revealed that analgesia was related to decreased brain activity in pain-related brain regions, including the lingual and parahippocampal gyrus. Notably, anterior thalamic activation during the nostalgia stage predicted posterior parietal thalamus activation during the pain stage, suggesting that the thalamus might play a key role as a central functional linkage in the analgesic effect. Moreover, while thalamus-PAG functional connectivity was found to be related to nostalgic strength, periaqueductal gray-dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (PAG-dlPFC) functional connectivity was found to be associated with pain perception, suggesting possible analgesic modulatory pathways. As one of the most common pathological changes in trauma and surgery practice, intestinal ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury is regarded as a major precipitating factor in the occurrence and development of fatal diseases. BRCA1--BRCA2-containing complex subunit 36 (BRCC36), a deubiquitinase, has been proved important in a variety of pathophysiological processes such as DNA repair, cell cycle regulation, tumorigenesis, and inflammatory response. However, the effect of BRCC36 on intestinal mucosal barrier injury after I/R has not been fully elucidated. Our research found that BRCC36 aggravated intestinal mucosal barrier injury caused by bone morphogenetic protein 2 after I/R by downregulating peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-γ (PPAR γ) signaling. A novel layered Zn hydroxide nitrate adsorbent (LZH-NO3) for rapid adsorption of MO was synthesized by TEA (triethanolamine)-assisted hydro-thermal synthesis technology and characterized by the SEM, XRD, FTIR, BET, solid-state UV/vis spectra and TG. The maximum adsorption capability was 529.3 mg/g. The adsorption process reached equilibrium rapidly only 10 min. The pseudo-second-order kinetic equation fitted the adsorption process. The equilibrium adsorption isotherm data followed the Langmuir model. The regeneration ability was achieved using 0.5% NaOH solution. Continental magmatic arcs are characterized by the accretion of voluminous mantle-derived magmatic rocks and the growth of juvenile crust. However, significant volumes of meta-sedimentary rocks occur in the middle and lower arc crust, and the contributions of these rocks to the evolution of arc crust remain unclear. In this paper, we conduct a systematic study of petrology, geochronology, and geochemistry of migmatitic paragneisses from the eastern Gangdese magmatic arc, southern Tibet. The results show that the paragneisses were derived from late Carboniferous greywacke, and underwent an early Cenozoic (69-41 Ma) upper amphibolite-facies metamorphism and partial melting at pressure-temperature conditions of ~11 kbar and ~740 °C, and generated granitic melts with enriched Hf isotopic compositions (anatectic zircon εHf(t) = -10.57 to +0.78). Combined with the existing results, we conclude that the widely distributed meta-sedimentary rocks in the eastern Gangdese arc deep crust have the same protolith ages of late Carboniferous, and record northwestward-decreasing metamorphic conditions. We consider that the deeply buried sedimentary rocks resulted in the compositional change of juvenile lower crust from mafic to felsic and the formation of syn-collisional S-type granitoids. The mixing of melts derived from mantle, juvenile lower crust, and ancient crustal materials resulted in the isotopic enrichment of the syn-collisional arc-type magmatic rocks of the Gangdese arc. We suggest that crustal shortening and underthrusting, and the accretion of mantle-derived magma during the Indo-Asian collision transported the supracrustal rocks to the deep crust of the Gangdese arc. Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) might be the last resort for some patients with cardiac or cardiorespiratory failure. Although ECMO has improved survival rates, it is associated with neurocognitive complications post-recovery. Neurocognitive complications, including verbal, learning, and memory deficits, decrease quality of life and increase burden on society and families. Enormous evidence has proven that neuronal plasticity of the central nervous system accounts for neurocognitive complications. However, cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying neuronal plasticity in ECMO remain unclear. Systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS) is inevitable after ECMO therapy. SIRS in cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) has been proven to be associated with nerve injury. Moreover, inflammatory mediators mediate the activation of microglia, astroglia, and other cells that affect synaptic plasticity. This review discusses the presumptive effects of upregulated inflammatory factors and activation in non-neuronal cells on neuronal structural and functional plasticity in ECMO. Additionally, the review improves our understanding of these neuronal mechanisms and identifies potential targets that can enhance the ability of prophylaxis and treatment for neurocognitive complications after ECMO therapy. Malan loess in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River after mixed with different bentonite and HDTMA ratios was selected to carry out shear and consolidation tests for discussing the influence of bentonite-HDTMA on the mechanical property of loess lining material in landfills. Studies have shown that, after mixing 6% to 14% bentonite, the cohesive force of modified loess is significantly increased, the friction angle is reduced and remains stable, and the shear strength is improved. The compressibility of materials slightly decreases with the increase of bentonite ratio. The addition of 2%–4% HDTMA weakens the increment for the cohesive force caused by bentonite, but the friction angle is effectively recovered. The compressibility of materials increases with the increase of HDTMA ratio. As the dry density increases, the shear strength of the modified loess increases, and the compressibility coefficient decreases. The mechanical property of loess lining material can be optimized by adding 6%–14% bentonite. The incorporation of 2%–4% HDTMA does not have a significant negative impact on the optimization effect of bentonite. From the perspective of the mechanical property, it is recommended that the dry density of modified loess is 1.70 g/cm3, the bentonite ratio is 10%–14%, and the HDTMA ratio is 2%–4%. The genus Cantharellus, commonly known as chanterelles, has recently been divided into six subgenera; however, wider sampling approaches are needed to clarify the relationships within and between these groups. A phylogenetic overview of Cantharellus subgenus Parvocantharellus in China was inferred based on the large subunit nuclear ribosomal RNA gene (nrLSU), the DNA-directed RNA polymerase II subunit 2 (rpb2), and the transcription elongation factor 1-alpha (tef 1). A total of nine species from China were assigned to the subgenus, including seven novel species, namely Cantharellus aurantinus, C. austrosinensis, C. galbanus, C. luteolus, C. luteovirens, C. minioalbus, and C. sinominior, and two known species, namely C. albus and C. zangii. The detailed descriptions and illustrations were provided based on the newly obtained data, with the comparisons to closely related species. C. zangii was restudied based on the paratype specimens and multiple new collections from the type locality. Futhermore, the Indian species C. sikkimensis was identified as a synonym of C. zangii based on the morphological and molecular analyses. A key to the Chinese species belonging to the subg. To investigate the population structure and genetic diversity of indigenous chicken breeds in Guizhou, a total of 150 individual samples were collected from 12 breeds, including seven local chicken breeds in Guizhou Province, three Chinese native breeds found in other provinces, and two commercialbreeds. The genotype datasets were obtained using a 50K single nucleotide polymorphism array method, and then a series of population analyses were performed. The obtained population parameters and linkage disequilibrium decay indicated a higher degree of genetic diversity in Guizhou chickens than in commercialbreeds. Two Guizhou localbreeds, Wumeng black-bone and Weining, were clustered with a breed from a neighboring province, Xinwen black-bone, which exhibited similar ancestral composition patterns. A newly found breed, Wumeng crested, had high genetic diversity and displayed genetic differences from other Guizhou breeds. Hydraulic turbine runners experience high excitation forces in their daily operations, and these excitations may cause resonances to runners, which may induce high vibrations and shorten the runner's lifetimes. Increasing the added damping of runners in water can be helpful to reduce the vibration level during resonances. Some studies have shown that the modification of the trailing edge shape can be helpful to increase added damping of hydrofoils in water. However, the influence of blade trailing edge shape on the added damping of hydraulic turbine runners has been studied in a limited way before. Due to the difficulties to study this problem experimentally, the influence of blade trailing edge shape on a Kaplan turbine runner has been studied numerically in this paper and the one-way FSI method was implemented. The performances of three different turbulence models, including the k − ϵ , k − ω SST , and transition SST models, in the added damping simulation of the NACA 0009 hydrofoil were evaluated by comparing with the available results of the two-way FSI simulation in the references. Results show that, unlike the significantly different performances in the two-way FSI method, the performances of all the turbulence models are very close in the one-way FSI method. Then, the k − ϵ turbulence model was applied to the added damping simulation of a Kaplan turbine runner, and results show that the modification of the blade trailing edge shape can be helpful to increase the added damping to some extent. Understanding molecular motion in terms of molecular structure is an important issue for microscopic understanding of the nature of transport properties and glass transition, and for design of structured materials to meet specific demands in various applications. Herein, a novel molecular mechanism is proposed to connect macroscopic motion in ionic liquids with molecular structure via conformational conversions of the constituent ions or of the cation-anion pairs. New equations for description of relaxation time, diffusion coefficient, molar conductivity, and viscosity of ionic liquids are established. The equation parameters, which were determined from the temperature dependent heat capacities, self-diffusion coefficients, molar conductivities, and viscosities of typical ionic liquids, were used to produce predictions for the corresponding properties of other ionic liquids and for the glass transition temperatures of representative ionic liquids. This study proposes a comprehensive experiment-based method to determine stress field and slip lines in metal cutting process. The chip geometry and workpiece's strain and strain rate fields are determined using an in situ imaging technique. The two-dimensional (2D) heat transfer problem for the steady-state cutting process is solved to derive the cutting temperature, and the flow stresses of work material in the main deformation zone are calculated based on the plasticity theory. Furthermore, the stress field is comprehensively determined to satisfy the stress equilibrium, friction law along the tool-chip interface, and traction-free boundary condition along the uncut chip surface. In addition, slip lines in the main deformation zone are derived according to the direction of maximum shear stress without the assumption of perfect rigid-plastic material. Gyroporus species with cyanescent oxidation reactions were investigated, based on morphology and phylogenetic analysis of DNA sequences from the nuclear ribosomal large subunit (nrLSU), the nuclear ribosomal internal transcribed spacer (ITS) and the mitochondrial adenosine triphosphate ATP synthase subunit 6 (atp6). Three species, including two new species, namely G. alpinus and G. flavocyanescens and one previously-described species, namely G. brunneofloccosus, are revealed from China. Collections formerly reported from China as "G. cyanescens" are either G. alpinus or G. flavocyanescens. The new species are documented and illustrated in detail, while the concept of G. brunneofloccosus is refined with additional recently-collected materials. Additionally, the cyanescent species G. pseudomicrosporus, previously described from China, is shown to be a member of the genus Gyrodon, based on re-examination of the type specimen. Background: MicroRNAs play an important role in many fundamental biological and pathological processes. Defining the microRNAs profile underlying the processes by beneficial and detrimental lifestyles, including caloric restriction (CR), exercise and high-fat diet (HF), is necessary for understanding both normal physiology and the pathogenesis of metabolic disease. We used the microarray to detect microRNAs expression in livers from CR, EX and HF mice models. After predicted potential target genes of differentially expressed microRNAs with four algorithms, we applied GO and KEGG to analyze the function of predicted microRNA targets. Results: We describe the overall microRNAs expression pattern, and identified 84 differentially expressed microRNAs changed by one or two or even all the three lifestyle modifications. The common and different enriched categories of gene function and main biochemical and signal transduction pathways were presented. The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has caused a global pandemic, resulting in considerable morbidity and mortality. Tocilizumab, an inhibitor of IL-6, has been widely repurposed as a treatment of severely ill patients without robust evidence supporting its use. In this study, we aimed to systematically describe the effectiveness of treatment and prevention of the cytokine storms in COVID-19 patients with tocilizumab. In this multicentered retrospective and observational cohort study, 65 patients with COVID-19 receiving tocilizumab and 130 not receiving tocilizumab were propensity score matched at a ratio of 2:1 based on age, sex, and comorbidities from January 20, 2020 to March 18, 2020 in Wuhan, China. After adjusting for confounding, the detected risk for in-hospital death was lower in the tocilizumab group versus nontocilizumab group (hazard ratio = 0.47; 95% confidence interval = 0.25-0.90; p = 0.023). Moreover, use of tocilizumab was associated with a lower risk of acute respiratory distress syndrome (odds ratio = 0.23; 95% confidence interval = 0.11-0.45; p < 0.0001). Furthermore, patients had heightened inflammation and more dysregulated immune cells before treatment, which might aggravate disease progression. After tocilizumab administration, abnormally elevated IL-6, C-reactive protein, fibrinogen, and activated partial thromboplastin time decreased. Tocilizumab may be of value in prolonging survival in patients with severe COVID-19, which provided a novel strategy for COVID-19-induced cytokine release syndrome. Welding is a major manufacturing process that joins two or more pieces of materials together through heating/mixing them followed by cooling/solidification. The goal of welding manufacturing is to join materials together to meet service requirements at lowest costs. Advanced welding manufacturing is to use scientific methods to realize this goal. This paper views advanced welding manufacturing as a three step approach: (1) pre-design that selects process and joint design based on available processes (properties, capabilities, and costs); (2) design that uses models to predict the result from a given set of welding parameters and minimizes a cost function for optimizing the welding parameters; and (3) real-time sensing and control that overcome the deviations of welding conditions from their nominal ones used in optimizing the welding parameters by adjusting the welding parameters based on such real-time sensing and feedback control. The paper analyzes how these three steps depend on process properties/capabilities, process innovations, predictive models, numerical models for fluid dynamics, numerical models for structures, real-time sensing, and dynamic control. The paper also identifies the challenges in obtaining ideal solutions and reviews/analyzes the existing efforts toward better solutions. Special attention and analysis have been given to (1) gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) and gas metal arc welding (GMAW) as benchmark processes for penetration and materials filling; (2) keyhole plasma arc welding (PAW), keyhole-tungsten inert gas (K-TIG), and keyhole laser welding as improved/capable penetrative processes; (3) friction stir welding (FSW) as a special penetrative low heat input process; (4) alternating current (AC) GMAW and double-electrode GMAW as improved materials filling processes; (5) efforts in numerical modeling for fluid dynamics; (6) efforts in numerical modeling for structures; (7) challenges and efforts in seam tracking and weld pool monitoring; (8) challenges and efforts in monitoring of keyhole laser welding and FSW; and (9) efforts in advanced sensing, data fusion/sensor fusion, and process control using machine learning/deep learning, model predictive control (MPC), and adaptive control. Cadmium (Cd) is a toxic heavy metal element, which can cause oxidative stress in plant cells and induce cell damage. Currently, the research investigating autophagy function and Cd injury in plants is still limited. In our study, we exposed Pakchoi plants to Cd chloride at different concentrations (0, 2, 4, 6, and 8 mg·L−1) for 4 consecutive weeks. The results showed that toxic damage of Pakchoi was induced by Cd exposure and its Cd injury accumulation showed a positive dose relationship with metal concentrations. When Pakchoi was exposed to Cd, it generated excessive reactive oxygen species (ROS), especially H2O2. Our data revealed that LC3 upregulation and autophagosome formation were noted in H2O2-activated root cells, indicating that Cd damage caused autophagy in Pakchoi. Under Cd stress, the antioxidant enzyme activity of peroxidase (POD), ascorbate peroxidase (APX), catalase (CAT), and superoxide dismutase (SOD) were decreased as Cd concentration was increased, lowest in 8 mg·L−1 treatment. Using transcriptome analysis by RNA sequencing, we identified 860 significant differentially expressed genes (DEGs) with a fold change of no less than 2 between the Cd-treated and the control groups, among which 513 genes were upregulated and 347 genes were downregulated. The DEGs were mostly enriched in functions related to the hormonal regulation of digestion and absorption, transport processes, transporter activity, and the apical plasma membrane composition. A total of 6 autophagy-related genes, including 4 AMPK genes, 1 ATG13 gene, and 1 Beclin1 gene, were found to have significantly different expression levels in the Cd groups. The expression levels of these 6 genes were significantly different between the control and Cd groups (p < 0.05) when validated by real-time quantitative PCR. Furthermore, we found the ratio of p-AMPK and AMPK increased significantly in the Cd group (p < 0.05), indicating that Cd-induced autophagy may be mediated by AMPK phosphorylation. IgG subclass diversification is common in placental mammals. It has been well documented in humans and mice that different IgG subclasses, with diversified functions, synergistically regulate humoral immunity. However, our knowledge on the genomic and functional diversification of IgG subclasses in the pig, a mammalian species with high agricultural and biomedical importance, is incomplete. Using bacterial artificial chromosome sequencing and newly assembled genomes generated by the PacBio sequencing approach, we characterized and mapped the IgH C region gene locus in three indigenous Chinese breeds (Erhualian, Xiang, and Luchuan) and compared them to that of Duroc. Our data revealed that IGHG genes in Chinese pigs differ from the Duroc, whereas the IGHM, IGHD, IGHA, and IGHE genes were all single copy and highly conserved in the pig breeds examined. Most striking were differences in numbers of IGHG genes: there are seven genes in Erhualian pigs, six in the Duroc, but only five in Xiang pigs. Phylogenetic analysis suggested that all reported porcine IGHG genes could be classified into nine subclasses: IGHG1, IGHG2a, IGHG2b, IGHG2c, IGHG3, IGHG4, IGHG5a, IGHG5b, and IGHG5c. Lately, scandals associated with the illegal addition of poisonous chemicals to food for commercial interests have been gradually disclosed to the public. Problems related to food safety do not only harm public health but also affect the stability of economic and social development. Food safety has become a common issue in society, and strengthening the related regulations have become increasingly important. Although conventional techniques are accurate and sensitive in the detection of the vast majority of illegal food additives, they rely on time-consuming, labor-intensive procedures that depend on expensive instruments. Thus, efficient and rapid identification of poisonous, illegal additives in food is a crucial task in analytical chemistry. Recently, in this context, gold nanoparticles (GNPs) have attracted considerable attention because of their optical, electronic, catalytic, and chemical properties. Their excellent properties have facilitated the widespread use of GNPs in different sensors. This review covers the two most common GNP-based sensors with colorimetric and electrochemical responses, which have proven to be effective in the detection of illegal additives. The GNP-based sensors comply with the requirement of modern analysis, such as high selectivity, sensitivity, simplicity, rapidity, and portability. Thus, they have great potential as powerful sensing tools for food safety screening. This review elucidates the utility and advances of GNP-based colorimetric and electrochemical sensors for the detection of illegal additives in the food industry and in the supervision of food quality and safety. The electromagnetic interference caused by the strong stray magnetic field generated by a tokamak device and its coil power supply will greatly threaten the reliable operation of electrical and electronic devices nearby, and a magnetic field immunity test is the most commonly used method to qualify the sensitive equipment and ensure the reliability of the system. Thus, building a high-intensity magnetic field immunity test platform is essential for the stable operation of a large tokamak device in the future. This article presents the preliminary design of a large-scale high-intensity magnetic field immunity test platform, including dc static test platform, dc transient test platform, and power frequency test platform. Referring to the actual magnetic field environment around the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) tokamak device and its magnet power supply, the design parameters of the subplatforms are determined. Then the scheme design of the subplatforms and the integration design of the whole platform are briefly introduced. As a part of the large-scale superconductor rest facility (LSTF) in Chinese Academy of Science, Institute of Plasma Physics (ASIPP), the design takes full advantages of the other devices planned in the facility. This test platform will be the largest in the world and enable the test of various equipment under different magnetic field environments, and more importantly, play an important role in the reliable operation of China Fusion Engineering Test Reactor (CFETR) and future large tokamak devices. Production development for asparagus has become an important research subject due to its low shelf life. In order to determine the content of flavonoids in asparagus tips and shoots, LC-MS-based method was performed for a targeted analysis of flavonoids in asparagus, and 34 peaks attributed to the targeted flavonoids were characterised. Twelve peaks corresponding to rutin, isoquercitrin, quercetin, naringin, taxifolin, vitexin, genistin, daidzein, luteolin, chrysin, and kaempferide were identified and quantified from the asparagus tips and shoots by the LC-MS-based detection with monitoring of parent/daughter ions. The results showed that rutin (> 99%) was the main flavonoid present in the asparagus tips and shoots. Although the tips and shoots contained almost similar compounds, the content of the major compounds, especially rutin, was significantly different. Therefore, the method established through this study could be used for quantitative analysis of flavonoids, especially rutins, in asparagus.
