15. Dynamic optimization of tracked vehicle power train based on torsional vibration analysis

Abstract

Aiming at the vehicle power train, system dynamic optimization is profoundly studied based on the system torsional vibration characteristics analysis. First, based on the concentrated mass method, the general torsional vibration model of vehicle power train is established and solved after parameters’ (inertia, stiffness, and damping) matrix and mathematic constraint conditions are acquired. Furthermore, both free vibration and forced vibration characteristics are analyzed. Second, the effects of the coupling stiffness on the dynamics behaviors of power train are thoroughly analyzed. The sensitivity analysis procedure is explored. And sensitivity models of both free and forced vibration feature parameters are deduced. Finally, dynamic optimization theory model and program are constructed based on genetic algorithm. The optimization results indicate that the proposed optimization method could contribute to the sharp attenuation of system torsional vibration.

Abstract

During operation, building materials and structures in buildings and structures are exposed to a whole range of adverse effects, leading to the loss of their performance characteristics.It is shown that at present there is a possibility to predict the durability of building materials and structures already at the stage of their design without carrying out additional inspections during operation. This prediction is based on the concept thermal fluctuations destruction and deformation of the solid body. Experimental studies are presented to determine the effect of temperature and stress on the value of durability for polyvinyl chloride plates during cross bending, on the basis of which the thermal fluctuation constants of the generalized Zhurkov equation are found by three different methods. A comparative analysis of them is made and a method for their determination is proposed, which makes it possible to increase the accuracy of the durability prediction.

Abstract

The construction industry is evolving in the field of development and implementation of an information modeling approach for buildings. At present, digital building models are being transferred to the construction industry, where 3D printers are used to erect buildings. By extrusion they apply concrete mixture layer by layer along the limit contour of the building structure, thereby making building structures of the building or "printing" the building. The article discusses the principle of construction when using additive technologies. It also analyzes the existing technologies for "printing" buildings and it considers the advantages and disadvantages of this technology. Besides, the work gives a classification of building technologies and the exterior walls of the constructed buildings using 3D printers

Abstract

An overview of the scientific literature on the provision of biocidal protection to textile materials intended for the creation of clothing has been made. The range of biocidal preparations used to produce textile materials with antibacterial properties was reviewed. At the same time, attention is paid to natural compounds as the most meeting the requirements for biocides for textile materials. Peculiarities of pectins and lignin as biocidal compounds are defined. Methods which can be used to provide increased resistance of biocidal effect on textile materials are proposed. For water-insoluble biocides, the method used in pigment technologies is acceptable, namely, fixing the biocide on the surface of the fabric with a suitable polymer film, which is formed directly on the textile material during its treatment with the biocide. The use of metal compounds capable of complexing may be acceptable for fixing water-soluble biocides. The metal can form a bond with both the biocide molecule and the fiber polymer, so it is able to act as an intermediary in linking the biocide with the fiber polymer. At the same time, complexes of the polymer fiber-metal-biocide composition can be formed, in which the biocide will act as an organic ligand, due to which the textile material becomes a carrier of biocidal properties. Abstract

The relevance of the study is reasoned by the new requirements for the training of lawyers who solve professional tasks and promote a legal culture. The main results of the study are to identify the functions, stages, criteria, tools, pedagogical conditions (creation of intra-university quality management system of the training; the willingness of teachers to evaluate the quality of teaching and methodical support, monitoring of the quality of teaching and methodical support) to assess the quality of training and methodological support. This study provides important lessons. First, pedagogical assessment of the quality of teaching and methodical support to manage the process of law profile students’ training is conditioned by the need to form the ability to analyze the situation and give it legal qualifications; construct an algorithm of actions based on the rule of law; offer solutions’ variants to the problem through legal mechanisms. Second, the mechanism to assess the quality of training and methodological support includes a base for carrying out, the definition of the functions and criteria of educational evaluation.

40. Management and Outcome of Venous Thrombosis in Patients with Myeloproliferative Neoplasms: Data from the Israeli MPN Working Group.

Abstract

The BCR-ABL-negative myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) are associated with high incidence of venous thrombosis and a significant rate of recurrent events, but there is no consensus regarding their management. In this retrospective study, we analyzed 96 patients with MPN-related venous thrombosis. The index venous thrombosis occurred at a median age of 58 years (IQR 37–71), with 58% of the events involving unusual sites. Patients who were on antiplatelet agents at the time of index thrombosis tended to be older than patients who were not receiving antiplatelets at the time of index thrombosis. The majority of index thromboses occurring after the diagnosis of MPN had uncontrolled blood counts at the time of event and were not receiving antithrombotic agents. Following the thrombotic episode, 75% of patients received long-term anticoagulation. At a median follow-up of 3.4 years, the recurrence rate was 14%. Thrombophilia was significantly more prevalent among patients with recurrent thrombosis compared to patients without recurrence (p < 0.01). Patients who developed a recurrent event early were more likely to have thrombophilia (either inherited or antiphospholipid antibodies), and controlled blood counts, and were likely to receive anticoagulation at the time of recurrence compared to patients with later recurrences. Thrombophilia may contribute to venous thrombosis recurrence, especially early after the index venous thrombosis. Abstract

Aiming at the vehicle power train, system dynamic optimization is profoundly studied based on the system torsional vibration characteristics analysis. First, based on the concentrated mass method, the general torsional vibration model of vehicle power train is established and solved after parameters’ (inertia, stiffness, and damping) matrix and mathematic constraint conditions are acquired. Furthermore, both free vibration and forced vibration characteristics are analyzed. Second, the effects of the coupling stiffness on the dynamics behaviors of power train are thoroughly analyzed. The sensitivity analysis procedure is explored. And sensitivity models of both free and forced vibration feature parameters are deduced. Finally, dynamic optimization theory model and program are constructed based on genetic algorithm. The optimization results indicate that the proposed optimization method could contribute to the sharp attenuation of system torsional vibration.

Abstract

Currently, there is a huge selection of apartments in the real estate market. Buyers of apartments have to take into account a large number of factors influencing the quality of apartments on offer. It is often very problematic for both buyers and real estate agencies. The paper suggests a new instrumental approach based on one of the methods of multi-criteria comparative analysis to evaluate the consumer appeal of apartments. The proposed instrumental approach proves to be very effective as it compresses a large amount of information into a single parameter - a synthetic indicator for J options of the apartment quality - and ranks the apartments according to this criterion. The proposed approach aims to help buyers and sellers of real estate in making decisions when choosing a suitable apartment, taking into account the buyer's preferences. Abstract

The increasing complexity of buildings and structures, the high rate of construction and the need to reduce design time, enhance internationalization and international cooperation in design and architecture, as well as many other factors triggered the rapid improvement of computer design tools. At present, this approach to design is commonly referred to as Building Information Modeling (BIM), and the related technologies and software tools are called BIM-technologies. All of the above logically leads to the conclusion that in modern conditions, new educational programs in Architecture and Civil Engineering, focusing on acquisition and development of competences in building information modeling are required. The paper discusses educational programs of Russian universities in Building Information Modeling, job opportunities and qualifications in the construction sector and the findings of the employers' survey have been analyzed. The requirements of the Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Education (FSES HE), as well as the responses to the questionnaire will be used to improve the quality of the existing educational programs and those being developed. The analysis of professional standards in the field of architecture and construction made it possible to match the labor functions (actions) and professional competencies of FSES HE so at to obtain the required learning outcomes. The design of the educational program will be based on the required learning outcomes, corresponding to the FSES HE competencies, including those designed by the university to meet its own educational needs. The labor input to achieve the required learning outcomes will allow developing a quality curriculum for the educational program. Abstract

The study was performed to investigate the characteristics of circadian profile of blood pressure (BP) in young men, which demonstrate the office signs of high normal pressure (HNAD) and arterial hypertension (AH) for the setting of effective system of medical examination of the young population. Total number of recruits and students surveyed 147 younkers: with optimal and normal blood pressure 81, high normal blood pressure 30 and AH 36. Ambulatory BP monitoring (ABPM) performed in the «typical working day» of 24±1,5 hours with intervals between the measurements of 15-30 minutes during the day and night respectively. Analyzed more than 30 indicators. Results: Young people with signs HNAD characterized by a number of significant negative differences in terms of ABPM compared with peers-carrier of normal and optimal blood pressure. However, the sechanges are similar to those inpatients with evidence of hypertension, but their expression is less important. Examples of such changes are the mean values of systolic and diastolic blood pressure, variability indexes BP, value and speed of its morning rise. Young men with HNAD are also characterized by the presence of family history of the development of early cardiovascular (CV) disease and the presence of cardio-cerebral complaints, frequency, similar to AH. Conclusion. The young people with HNAD must be timely included in the dispensary group of CV risks likely those ones with definite AG. It is necessary to perform among them effective prevention programmes in good time.
