Building thermography is a non-destructive and effective method for diagnosing the thermal insulation of buildings with various purposes. Regardless of the specifics of conducting thermographic surveys, the obtained thermal images (thermograms) can be analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively. The first method of analyzing thermal images is implemented using specialized software typically provided with the thermal imaging camera. The second method is carried out based on the results of thermographic surveys following the methodologies regulated by the country’s normative documents. Using the example of thermographic inspection of enclosing structures in a multi-story residential building constructed from reinforced concrete panels, a qualitative assessment of thermal images was conducted to identify potential thermal defects. Thermal bridges were detected in the area of vertical joints of panel plates, and excessive heat losses were identified in the region where the heating device niche is located.Quantitative assessment of thermal images revealed that the thermal resistance in the temperature anomaly area is nearly twice as low as the thermal resistance in the baseline section of the thermogram. One of the variations for evaluating the error of indirect measurements of relative thermal resistance is presented, taking into account the range of measuring instruments used. Verification of the thermal resistance of the enclosing structure of the external wall of the residential building was conducted to ensure compliance with sanitary and hygienic requirements. According to the results of in-situ measurements, it was determined that the temperature on the inner surface of the enclosure was lower than the specified value.

Olivacine, a semisynthetic isomer of ellipticine, belongs to the family of natural alkaloids; which possess analgesic, antibacterial, and antipyretic properties. It is a model anticancer drug acting as topoisomerase II inhibitor. The mechanism of action and antineoplastic properties of olivacine are ascribed to its intercalative binding into DNA helices. The present paper reports DFT investigation of the molecular structure, electronic properties, and global reactivity descriptors of the drug. Frontier orbitals (HOMO and LUMO) and MEP surface of the olivacine molecule have been examined. Furthermore, inhibition activity and binding sites of olivacine with kinase protein (PDB Id: 3OG7) have been explored by molecular docking technique. Motivated by the challenge of comprehending complex algorithms, we emphasize the efficacy of visualization tools. Our research explores the realtime rendering of algorithms in a visual format, facilitating a deeper understanding of their underlying mechanisms. In addition, we introduce a novel comparative simulation feature within our Algorithm Visualizer e-learning application, enabling learners to contrast the performance of diverse algorithms, discern their strengths and weaknesses, and evaluate their applicability to different data sets. Specifically, this application accommodates various algorithms, including Dijkstra's algorithm, DFS, BFS, Binary Search, and more. Learners can employ this tool to scrutinize algorithmic differences and efficiency, exemplified through scenarios like comparing Dijkstra's algorithm and A* algorithm for pathfinding on a map. Furthermore, this feature extends to the evaluation of sorting algorithms, such as Quick Sort and Merge Sort, allowing users to visualize their performance on large data sets. Inactivation kinetics of Escherichia coli K12 inoculated in blueberry, grapefruit, cantaloupe, and watermelon juices were evaluated at isothermal temperatures of 52 to 62 °C using thermal death time disks. Juices had variations in titratable acidity, pH, viscosity, and total soluble solids. Survival curves were described by Weibull and linear models, where D‐ and z‐values were determined using the first‐order model. D‐values in watermelon, cantaloupe, blueberry and grapefruit juices, were 6.57–0.64 min, 4.55–0.44 min, 3.94–0.27 min, and 3.03–0.24 min, respectively. The z‐values of E. coli K12 in tested fruit juices ranged from 5.33 to 5.89 °C. While there were no significant differences in the z‐values, the D‐values varied significantly. According to the results obtained, pH and heating temperature dramatically affect the thermal resistance of E. coli K12 under tested conditions. These findings offer a basis for developing predictive models for E. coli inactivation in fruit juices. Practical applications: Thermal death time (TDT) kinetics is extremely useful in ensuring microbial safety of fruit juices. The D‐ and z‐values calculated in this study can contribute to developing predictive models for inactivating E. coli in fruit juices with varied physicochemical attributes. Furthermore, the data and models can be used for optimization of pasteurization processes and regulatory compliance. TDT studies provide the scientific basis for process calculations and help juice manufacturers comply with regulatory requirements. Also, TDT studies help determine the minimal thermal treatments needed to inhibit spoilage organisms, ensuring the juice remains safe and palatable for longer periods. We have done geometry optimization of two conformers of Lantadene series C and D. The fundamental vibrational frequencies with intensity have been done by using B3LYP/6-311G (d, p) method. The complete vibrational assignments of wavenumbers are made on the basis of potential energy distribution (PED). The nonbonding interactions in Lantadenes C and D are calculated by using the same level theory at the bond critical point (BCP). The calculated topological parameters at BCP are utilized to determine the nature and strength of interactions. We have also computed HOMO–LUMO gap and plotted frontier orbital HOMO–LUMO surfaces, molecular electrostatic potential surfaces to explain the reactive nature of Lantadenes C and D. The electronic transition spectra UV–Vis spectra of Lantadenes C and D are calculated by using TDDFT theory. The values of hyperpolarizability show a probable use of these compounds in electro-optical applications. The natural bonding orbital theory is utilized to calculate transition of electron from donor to acceptor which is very useful to describe nonbonding as well as bonding interactions. The calculated value of Log P and Log S for Lantadene C Lantadene D established its pharmaceutical behaviors. The biological activity of Lantadenes C and D is also calculated by using PASS online server for Pa > 7 0 %. Background: A set of protocols termed Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) has been developed with home health care in consideration. There is inadequate evidence to support the subpar IPC practice adherence. The study's goal to use the human factors model to investigate how organizational, home environment and individual variables affect IPC behaviors, an increasing number of people are getting medical treatment in their homes as a result of an aging population along with a move towards community-based care. Method: In addition to handling complicated medical disorders, home health care nurses are essential in providing individualized and patient-centered treatment. Three major home care firms combined their 325 nurses to investigate the association between person, home environment as well as organizational variables and IPC adherence. (Mean=4.42, standard deviation=3.35) Nurses observed many obstacles to IPC activities in patients' homes. Result: The most common obstacles were an unclean workplace (71.4%) and clutter (75.6%), according to nurses. Nurses indicated that certain IPC supplies were hard to locate (central tendency=3.55 and dispersion=6.87). Like protecting hardware, IPC adherence was aided and hindered by factors related to the domestic setting and the accessibility to IPC materials. Aim: The aim of this research was to create a useful, simpler formula to assist in the treatment of Pleural Effusion (PE), a common postoperative complication. Serial chest ultrasonography examinations at the bedside can be performed with no radiation risk and are more sensitive and reliable than Chest X-Rays (CXRs) in the identification of PE. Objective: In our prospective observational analysis, 170 patients who underwent heart surgery and had basal pleural opacity on a CXR were included. Postoperative Day (POD) 5.7 ± 3.1 chest ultrasonography revealed effusion, which was verified. Inclusion criteria for subsequent thoracentesis were not protocol-driven but instead simply based on clinical considerations. Dyspnea, Peripheral Oxygen Saturation (SpO2) values of ≤ 90%, and the maximum distance between the diaphragm's midpoint and the visceral pleura (DG 25 mm) were important inclusion criteria. Results: The PE volume was around 450 ml, as determined by the abbreviated formula: V (ml) = [16×D (mm)], 140 individuals (82%) were reduced using a 14-G needle. Without any difficulties, success rate for getting fluid was 100%. The calculated and drained pleural effusions are quite accurate. Conclusion: Thoracentesis decisions for postoperative patients may be made easily and inexpensively with the help of simple measurements of pleural effusion. The formula elucidated in this study might be useful to oncologists to apply for cancer patients where fluid accumulation is very common, especially in lung cancers on its first priority as breast, ovarian mesothelioma, and others. The proposed systems can improve cyber security in VANET applications by enabling efficient detection of complex attacks on the RSU component. The subsequent sections discuss the systems that are applied and support the suggestions for improving the VANET trustworthiness. VANETs and show that the utilization of Cross-Layer Adaptive GNNs can improve cyber security and LEARNING in VANET-based RSUs. As a result, the suggested system can provide robust ways for detecting cyber-attacks by: modeling the network architecture using graphs while combining information regarding several protocol layers to detect complicated interactions between the network entities and find the abnormal activities. the nature of the GNN enables it to update in real-time by adapting to the evolving attack patterns and the shifting network conditions, making them sturdy and flexible defense ways for cyber security. The proposed network e systems can efficiently detect multiple cyber threats and focus on reducing the number of false positives while maintaining low computation costs.
