전 세계적으로 급격한 경제성장의 이면에 존재하는 사회 · 경제적 불평등을 해소하는 방안의 일종으로 기본소득에 대한 논의가 대두되고 있다. 현재까지 기본소득의 개념과 특징, 제도의 설계와 재원 마련 방안 등의 관점에서 연구가 진행되고 있지만, 기본소득에 대한 사회적 인식을 확인하고 이를 통해 적절한 대안과 방향을 논의하는 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기본소득에 대한 국민 인식조사를 수행하고 주요 쟁점을 파악하여 기본소득 제도의 도입가능성을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 전국의 성인 남녀 905명을 대상으로 설문조사를 수행한 결과, 기본소득의 인지도와 찬성률은 절반 이하에 머무르고 있으며, 기본소득 도입의 필요성이나 태도에 대해서는 응답자 특성에 따라 유의한 차이를 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 기본소득에 대한 선행연구와 국내외 기본소득 실험, 대국민 설문조사 결과를 종합하여 노동시장에의 영향, 기본소득의 무분별한 소비, 재원 마련 방안 등 주요 쟁점사항에 대한 정책적 시사점을 도출하였다. 기본소득의 도입가능성을 제고하기 위해서는 응답자의 특성을 고려한 효과적인 정보전달이 이루어질 필요가 있으며, 이를 통해 기본소득에 대한 논의가 지속적으로 활성화될 수 있도록 노력해야 한다. 본 연구는 기본소득에 대한 우리나라 국민의 인식과 영향요인을 파악함으로써 정책 수립에 필요한 기초 정보를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

Purpose Over the past two decades, online booking has become a predominant distribution channel of tourism products. As online sales have become more important, understanding booking conversion behavior remains a critical topic in the tourism industry. The purpose of this study is to model airline search and booking activities of anonymous visitors. Design/methodology/approach This study proposes a stochastic approach to explicitly model dynamics of airline customers’ search, revisit and booking activities. A Markov chain model simultaneously captures transition probabilities and the timing of search, revisit and booking decisions. The suggested model is demonstrated on clickstream data from an airline booking website. Findings Empirical results show that low prices (captured as discount rates) lead to not only booking propensities but also overall stickiness to a website, increasing search and revisit probabilities. From the decision timing of search and revisit activities, the author observes customers’ learning effect on browsing time and heterogeneous intentions of website visits. Originality/value This study presents both theoretical and managerial implications of online search and booking behavior for airline and tourism marketing. The dynamic Markov chain model provides a systematic framework to predict online search, revisit and booking conversion and the time of the online activities.

연구목적: 중도·중복장애학생은 일반적으로 인지적 및 신체적인 어려움을 동시에 가지고 있으므로 단일 장애를 가진 특수교육대상자와는 또 다른 특수교육적인 접근이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 중도·중복장애 학생의 학부모를 대상으로 중도·중복장애학생의 진로·직업 교육에 대한 인식 및 지원 요구를 살펴봄으로서 중도·중복장애학생의 진로·직업교육의 개선방안을 제안하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 본 연구에서는 조사연구와 초점집단인터뷰를 중심으로 한 수렴적 형태의 혼합연구방법을 통하여 연구 주제를 살펴보고자 하였으며, 조사 연구에는 총 142명, 초점집단인터뷰에는 총 5명의 중도·중복장애학생의 학부모가 참여하였다. 연구결과: 연구 결과 중도·중복장애 학생의 학부모들은 현재의 진로·직업교육이 자녀에게 적절하지 않다는 사실을 지적하였다. 또한, 학부모들은 자녀를 위한 진로·직업교육이 일상생활 기술에 초점을 맞추어야 하고, 더 나은 진로·직업교육을 위해서는 학교, 지역사회, 법적 시스템에서의 지원이 필요하다고 언급하였다. 결론: 연구 결과를 바탕으로 도출된 구체적인 다섯 가지 종합적인 시사점은 중도·중복장애학생의 특성을 반영한 적절한 진로·직업교육의 실시, 기존과는 다른 방향의 진로·직업교육 제공, 취업 이외의 졸업 후 진로 확대, 진로·직업교육에 대한 다양한 정보 제공, 그리고 중도·중복장애학생의 진로·직업교육에 대한 학부모 및 학교(교사)의 관심 증대이다.

연구목적: 본 연구는 중학교 국어 수업시간에 교과서 단원과 연계한 장애이해 수업 실행 방법을 제시하고, 이를 통해 중학생의 장애인식이 어떻게 변화하였는지 알아보는데 있다. 연구방법: 중학교 3학년 학생 36명을 연구 참여자로 선정하여 3학년 2학기 국어교과서 5개 단원에서 장애와 관련된 내용을 추출하여 국어교과 교육과정에 맞게 장애이해교육을 삽입한 수업을 통해 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 국어교과 각 단원으로부터 장애이해교육 주제를 선정하여 국어과 교육과정의 모든 영역을 활용하여 장애이해교육 프로그램을 구성하였다. 둘째, 장애관련 동영상 시청, 수화 배우기, 장애 관련 만평 그리기, 장애인 인식관련 가정학습, 특수학교 설립을 위한 모의 협상, 장애 관련 도서 독서 골든벨하기 등의 다양한 학생활동을 구성하여 프로그램을 실행하였다. 셋째, 장애이해교육을 받은 이후 학생들의 장애에 대한 긍정적인 인식의 변화가 이루어졌다. 결론: 국어교과 수업을 활용한 장애이해교육은 중학생의 장애에 대한 인식을 긍정적으로 개선하였으며, 교과를 활용한 장애이해교육이 확대될 필요성을 강조하였다.

BACKGROUND: Despite common use in clinical practice, the impact of blood transfusions on prognosis among patients with lung cancer remains unclear. The purpose of the current study is to perform an updated systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the influence of blood transfusions on survival outcomes of lung cancer patients. METHODS: We searched PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and Ovid MEDLINE for publications illustrating the association between blood transfusions and prognosis among people with lung cancer from inception to November 2019. Overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS) were the outcomes of interest. Pooled hazard ratios (HRs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were computed using the random-effects model. Study heterogeneity was evaluated with the I(2) test. Publication bias was explored via funnel plot and trim-and-fill analyses. RESULTS: We included 23 cohort studies with 12,175 patients (3,027 cases and 9,148 controls) for meta-analysis. Among these records, 22 studies investigated the effect of perioperative transfusions, while one examined that of transfusions during chemotherapy. Two studies suggested the possible dose-dependent effect in accordance with the number of transfused units. This study develops a stochastic approach to the short-term forecasting of hotel booking arrivals. We investigate the key characteristics of booking arrivals, specifically the time-varying arrivals rates, high variability in the final demand, and the strong positive correlations between arrivals in different time periods. We examine three Poisson mixture models to capture these salient features of booking arrivals. In particular, the presence of strong inter-temporal correlations can be leveraged for forecasting future arrivals based on the early realizations. We suggest a new forecasting method that exploits the intrinsic correlations between early and late bookings and then present validation results of data from a major hotel chain along with a comparison to benchmark models. Our empirical study confirms that our dynamic updating method leveraging inter-temporal correlations can significantly improve the short-term forecasting accuracy of hotel room demand.

우리나라 미세먼지 배출량 중 발전 및 산업부문이 차지하는 비중은 상당히 높으며, PM10과 PM2.5 모두 제조업 연소 부문이 절반 이상으로 가장 큰 비중을 차지한다. 발전부문이 포함된 에너지산업 연소 부문의 미세먼지 배출 비중 자체는 높지 않아 보이나, 2차 배출원의 비중은 높은 수준이다. 이에 2016년 6월 정부는 미세먼지 관리 특별대책을 발표했으나, 미세먼지 저감대책이 대부분 수송부문에 집중되어 있어 발전 및 산업부문 전략의 실질적인 효과는 미흡할 것으로 평가되는 상황이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 정부가 발표한 미세먼지 관리 특별대책을 기준으로 발전 및 산업부문 미세먼지 저감대책의 비용 대비 효과를 분석하고자 한다. 다양한 정책 시나리오를 비교한 결과, 신규 석탄발전소 20기의 배출허용기준을 세계 최고 수준으로 강화하는 경우 연간 미세먼지 저감량이 가장 큰 것으로 나타났다. 또한 정책수행을 위한 비용과 미세먼지 저감효과를 함께 고려한 결과에서도 신규 석탄발전소의 배출허용기준을 강화하는 경우 톤당 감축비용이 가장 낮은 수준이며, 기존 석탄발전소의 성능개선 시나리오 역시 비용 대비 효과적인 감축수단이 될 것으로 보인다. 본 연구에서는 2차 배출원의 저감효과를 고려하지 않았다는 점에 유의해야 하며, 향후 보다 구체적인 자료를 통해 다양한 미세먼지 저감대책의 효과를 비교할 필요가 있다.

Pro-environmental activities, such as waste sorting, are considered inconveniencing; the higher the inconvenience, the more difficult it becomes to encourage active public participation. This study defines waste sorting behavior considering certain attributes and estimates the inconvenience costs associated with each attribute. The definition also considers how and when waste is disposed of as well as the hygiene of a disposal spot. We apply a conjoint analysis for data collection and latent class logit model to calculate the inconvenience costs. The model incorporates consumers' heterogeneity as a finite number of homogenous groups. The results show that the inconvenience cost for the hygiene of the disposal spot is generally higher than that of sorting itself; this tendency is strongest among young women. Moreover, older people report lower inconvenience costs than do younger ones. Further, some groups prefer manual sorting to an automated sorting service for food waste. Our findings offer policy implications considering such inconvenience costs.

To address the global concerns about climate change, South Korea adopted the Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards to reduce energy consumption and CO 2 emissions in the transport sector. However, the effectiveness of CAFE standards in South Korea remains controversial because no significant reductions in energy consumption and CO 2 emissions have been reported since these standards were introduced. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of CAFE standards in South Korea, by developing a two-stage model to describe the automobile purchase and usage behavior of consumers sequentially. This study also simulates the effectiveness of CAFE standards in South Korea under short- and long-term scenarios. According to the results, when automobile manufacturers reduce the relative prices of economy and subcompact automobiles by 20% in the short-term, the total fuel consumption and CO 2 emissions will decrease by 0.381% and 0.408%, respectively, compared with the conditions in 2012. In the long-term, when manufacturers improve the fuel efficiency of diesel and gasoline automobiles by 20%, the corresponding reductions will be by approximately 2.83% for each. In addition, this study verifies that the rebound effect is a crucial aspect when evaluating energy demand management policy. Failing to consider such an effect could lead to overestimating the amount of energy conservation. Such ex-ante analysis provides significant implications for policymakers to enhance policy effectiveness in this domain.
