Introduction: The family is the first social unit with many complexities. This study aimed to investigate the impact of family structure and functions on the intergenerational behavior in families in Aliguderz using the theories of Bourdieu, Mannheim, and Shelsky.Methods: The research method was a survey, and the data collection tool was a questionnaire. The statistical population of the research was all individuals over 18 in the city of Aliguderz. Three hundred and seventy-six people were selected as a sample using Cochran’s sampling with a simple random method. Cronbach’s alpha method was used to determine reliability, and the questionnaire has content validity. One-way analysis of variance and Pearson correlation test were used to check the hypotheses using SPSS-21 software.Results: Elderly individuals have more family functions. The variables of family functions, adherence to cultural values, family crisis management, and kinship relations are different among different generations. A relationship was observed between the variables of adherence to cultural values, family crisis management, family cohesion, and the variable of family functions. With the increase of these variables, the amount of family functions (including the emotional functions of the family and problem-solving and conflict-resolution functions) also increases.Conclusion: Considering the differences in different generations in the power structure and family functions in the city of Aliguderz, it is necessary to pay attention to the factors affecting the family functions to improve the current situation by policymakers.

Background: Based on diversified intergenerational living in urban Iran, this study was conducted to determine the role of intergenerational family in family functions and cultural values in Aligudarz. Methods: This study was analytical cross-sectional based on questionnaire. The population were included over 18 years of age in Aligudarz, 376 people were selected as a sample using Cochran sampling by simple random sampling method. Library and survey methods were used to collect data. One-way analysis of variance and Pearson correlation tests were used to test the hypotheses. Results: Elderly people have better family functions than others (P=0.011) and adhere more to cultural values. Elderly people have more management in family crises with f value of 3.140 (p=0.019). The correlation coefficient between family cohesion and family functions is 0.152 with a direct correlation (P=0.003). As the level of family cohesion increases, family functions also increase. There is a direct correlation between kinship relations and family functions (P=0.777, -0.015). There is no relationship between the level of kinship and family functioning. Conclusion: It is possible to improve the current status given the level of adherence to cultural values, crisis management, and family cohesion, Kinship relationships among different generations, and the relationship between the variables of adherence to cultural values, crisis management and cohesion, and family functions.

The party is one of the important components that has an important place in democratic systems. In fact, the party is the link between the practice of governance and the standards of governance. Davood Farihi in his book Jurisprudence and Party Governance tries to reconcile political jurisprudence with the government. It is related to the emergence of parliament and the concept of law in the contemporary era and explains the position of parties in the Islamic political system. The results of Farihi’s efforts show that the “party issue” in political jurisprudence is a logical extension of jurisprudence’s confrontation with the modern government. It is jurisprudential “but the fact is that the party in Iran is not jurisprudential and in this article, we criticize “the issue of the party in Iran is jurisprudential” in a descriptive and analytical way and based on library studies.

Comparing Subjective and Objective Dimensions of Body Contouring among Three generations of Women in Arak City Abstract The study of changes occurred in perception and performance of different generations is based on the assumption that, through experiencing different social revolutions, different generations have different experiences of beauty values, norms and performance. Based on this, the present research was carried out to study subjective and objective revolutions of beauty among three generations of women in Arak city. Theoretical framework of the research is developed based on theories by Bourdieu, Giddens, Inglehart, and feminism. The research methods were cross-sectional survey and causal-explanatory. The sample was calculated as 383 from three recent generations of women in Arak city (age groups 19-68) based on Cochran formula; but, to consider sample loss, the questionnaire copies were distributed among 390 women. The results showed “intergenerational distinctions in beauty's objectivity and intergenerational congruence in beauty's subjectivity” based on which we see that even if there are no significant differences among young, middle-aged, and old generations regarding physical self-concept but there are significant differences among these three generations regarding manifestation of and attempt to body contouring which appears as body management.
