Making use of a meromorphic analogue of the Cho-Kwon-Srivastava operator for normalized analytic functions, we introduce below a new class of meromorphic multivalent function in the punctured unit disk and obtain certain sufficient conditions for functions to belong to this class. Some consequences of the main result are also mentioned.

In this paper, an investigation was carried out to test the suitability of potential additive materials in WOKA 3533 (WC-10Co4Cr) cermet HVOF coating subjected to slurry erosion in ash conditions. The additives namely molybdenum carbide, yttrium oxide, and zirconium oxide were added in equal percentages (3 wt.%) in WOKA cermet powder. High-velocity oxy-fuel (HVOF) spraying was performed to develop the additive-based WOKA cermet coatings. The slurry erosion in ash conditions was tested using the pot tester. Microstructural and mechanical properties of traditional and additive-based WOKA cermet coatings were also tested in the present study; for example, microstructure, crystalline phases of as-sprayed coatings, and microhardness. Results present a comparison of surface erosion wear of different cermet coatings. It was found that the yttrium oxide was a suitable additive for the WOKA cermet coatings than the molybdenum carbide. The present paper deals with the first report of the parasitic isopod Cymothoa frontalis Milne Edwards, 1840 found attached to host fish Strongylura strongylura (van Hasselt, 1823) collected from Chandanipal fish landing Centre, Dhamara, and Nerocila exocoeti Pillai, 1954 found attached to host fish, Exocoetus volitans Linnaeus, 1758 collected from Aryapalli fish landing centre, Gopalpur-on-Sea. In this study, biogas was produced by anaerobic degradation of kitchen waste, and then it was subsequently injected in a dual fuel compression ignition (CI) engine. In experimentation, kitchen waste biogas (KWB) introduced into the engine intake manifold using fumigation technique at ambient condition. Various engine characteristics such as performance and emission were evaluated at various brake mean effective pressure (BMEP). The NOx and SOx formation of 49 and 30 ppm, respectively, were observed, which is less in comparison to single mode NOx (157 ppm) and SOx (34 ppm). Power generation in India is primarily coal-based in the present scenario. About 70% electricity generation produced by combustion of pulverized coal in thermal power plants. The available Indian coal quality is very poor; generate the large quantities of ash produced as by-products of combustion. The objective of the present study was to reduce the ash content and to produce ultra-clean coal. The coal sample was treated with chemical treatment of NaOH followed by HCl. The effect of particle size, temperature, and concentration on ash content was studied and found to be significant. Experimental influence parameters were optimized using Taguchi method. The result indicates that the temperature contributes the most dominant factor followed by acid concentration and particle size. The maximum reduction in ash content was observed at, particle size range of 53–75 µm, temperature 70 °C, and concentration of NaOH 40% (by volume), respectively. After chemical leaching, the ash content was reduced from 35.33% to 0.65% so as to produce ultra-clean coal. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
