Antimicrobial susceptibility was tested by the disk diffusion method. Genes of resistance and virulence were determined by the PCR.Results: Overall, S. marcescens were confirmed from 32 of 2897 (1.1%) mastitis milk samples. These isolates showed high resistance to cefazolin (30/32, 93.8%) and chloramphenicol (28/32, 87.5%). A 12.5% (4/32) of the isolates displayed multidrug resistance (MDR). The most prevalent resistant genes found in S. marcescens were TEM (32/32, 100%) and CTX-M (24/32, 75.0%; CTX-M-15, 14/32, 43.8%; CTX-M-14, 8/32, 25.0%; CTX-M-65, 2/32, 6.3%) for extended-spectrum beta-lactamase, cmlA (28/32, 87.5%) and floR (16/32, 50.0%) for chloramphenicol resistance, SIM-1 (2/32, 6.3%) for carbapenemases, and sdeB (28/32, 87.5%), sdeY (26/32, 81.3%), sdeR (26/32, 81.3%) and sdeD (20/32, 62.5%) for efflux pumps. Moreover, all isolates carried virulence genes flhD, entB, and kpn, and most of them contained mrkD (30/32, 93.8%), ycfM (26/32, 81.3%), bsmB (26/32, 81.3%), pigP (26/32, 81.3%), kfu (24/32, 75.0%) and shlB (24/32, 75.0%).Conclusion: To our knowledge, this is the first report of genetic determinants for antimicrobial resistance and virulence in S. marcescens isolated from bovine mastitis cases in China. These findings are useful for developing strategies for prevention and treatment of bovine mastitis caused by S. marcescens in China.Keywords: Serratia marcescens, bovine mastitis, antimicrobial resistance, virulence

This paper investigates the high frequency quasi-periodic oscillations (HFQPOs) phenomenon around the black bounce-type (BBT) spacetime using the resonance models. We calculated the location of the innermost stable circular orbit (ISCO) for different types of celestial bodies, and derived the expression for the epicyclic frequencies of test particles. The results show that the BBT spacetime possesses unique observational characteristics, where the ordering of epicyclic frequencies varies with the regularization parameter a, enabling the excitation of low-order resonances and producing stronger observational signals. Using parametric and forced resonance models, we compared theoretical results with the observed 3:2 twin-peak HFQPOs in microquasars (GRO 1655-40, XTE 1550-564, GRS 1915+105), analyzed the formation mechanisms of HFQPOs, constrained the parameters of the BBT model, and explored the possible types of celestial objects corresponding to microquasars. The study indicates that, certain parametric resonance conditions (e.g., n=1,2) lead to traversable wormhole models in BBT that closely align with observations. And forced resonance corresponding to BH or wormhole models can be verified through observations. These results deviate from the data fits of the original black-bounce model. It is found that the oscillatory behavior of three types of microquasars can also be explained by particle oscillations generated in BBT theory, providing evidence for exploring the existence of wormholes, under the assumptions of parametric resonance and forced resonance.

Diabetic ulcer (DU), one of the common and serious complications in patients with diabetes mellitus, often leads to infection, necrosis and amputation, and has a long and costly treatment period. Because of DU's unclear healing mechanism and the difficulty of delayed healing, its treatment and management have been a major challenge in clinical medicine. In recent years, the potential role of mitochondrial autophagy in DU has become a research hotspot with the in-depth study of mitochondrial autophagy mechanism. Previous studies have shown that mitochondrial autophagy is an important intracellular self-repair mechanism that plays a crucial role in maintaining cellular health and functional stability. During the development of DU, mitochondrial autophagy plays multiple roles in attenuating oxidative stress and inflammatory responses, maintaining mitochondrial functional homeostasis, influencing cell proliferation and repair capacity during DU healing, promoting DU healing, and enhancing antimicrobial capacity. In this paper, we illustrate the multiple roles played by mitochondrial autophagy in DU prevention and treatment, as well as the potential applications of mitochondrial autophagy in DU therapy. It is expected to provide a basis for the clinical application of mitochondrial autophagy in DU treatment, and provide more effective strategies and solutions for the treatment of DU.

The thermodynamics of black holes (BHs) and their corrections have become a hot topic in the study of gravitational physics, with significant progress made in recent decades. In this paper, we study the thermodynamics and corrections of spherically symmetric BHs in models f(R)=R+αR2 and f(R)=R+2γR+8Λ under the f(R) theory, which includes the electrodynamic field and the cosmological constant. Considering thermal fluctuations around equilibrium states, we find that, for both f(R) models, the corrected entropy is meaningful in the case of a negative cosmological constant (anti-de Sitter–RN spacetime) with Λ=−1. It is shown that when the BHs’ horizon radius is small, thermal fluctuations have a more significant effect on the corrected entropy. Using the corrected entropy, we derive expressions for the relevant corrected thermodynamic quantities (such as Helmholtz free energy, internal energy, Gibbs free energy, and specific heat) and calculate the effects of the correction terms. The results indicate that the corrections to Helmholtz free energy and Gibbs free energy, caused by thermal fluctuations, are remarkable for small BHs. In addition, we explore the stability of BHs using specific heat. The study reveals that the corrected BH thermodynamics exhibit locally stable for both models, and corrected systems undergo a Hawking–Page phase transition. Considering the requirement on the non-negative volume of BHs, we also investigate the constraint on the EH radius of BHs.

Objective To explore the demand of family members of children with cardiovascular diseases for home care and analyze the influencing factors. Methods A total of 198 family members of children with cardiovascular diseases from a certain hospital in Jinan, Shandong Province were investigated by using general information questionnaire and children's home care needs score questionnaire. The middle Permian Maokou Formation in the Longnüsi area in the central Sichuan Basin is currently a key formation for exploration and development. The evaluation of the current in situ stress in this area is of great significance for fracture prediction, well pattern deployment, drilling and construction, and fracturing stimulation. This study clarifies the current direction and magnitude distributions of the in situ stress by evaluating the Maokou Formation in the Longnüsi area using finite-element numerical simulation, acoustic emission experiments, and logging data (including data from imaging logging, array acoustic logging, conventional logging, and cross-dipole acoustic logging). Specifically, the current maximum horizontal stress of the Maokou Formation in the Longnüsi area is mainly in the NW‒SE direction, and the stress direction is greatly affected by the local fault zone. The current minimum horizontal stress magnitude of the Maokou Formation obtained by acoustic emission experiments is between 96.29 and 114.36 MPa, the current maximum horizontal stress magnitude is between 126.01 and 145.10 MPa, and the current horizontal stress difference is between 25.59 and 32.58 MPa. The current minimum and maximum horizontal stress magnitudes both decrease from north to south. The current horizontal stress parameters calculated by Huang’s model are not significantly different from those experimentally measured: there is a difference of less than 8% in the current minimum horizontal stress magnitude, a difference of less than 9% in the maximum horizontal stress magnitude, and a difference of less than 15% in the current horizontal stress difference. Therefore, Huang’s model has good applicability in terms of calculating the current horizontal stresses in the Longnüsi area. The current horizontal stress parameters, which are numerically simulated with the finite-element method, are also not much different from those experimentally measured: there is a difference of less than 11% in the current minimum horizontal stress magnitude, a difference of less than 10% in the maximum horizontal stress magnitude, and a difference of less than 20% in the current horizontal stress difference. The numerically simulated current horizontal stress also decreases from north to south. Therefore, the simulated results are highly accurate. This study clarifies the directions and magnitudes of the current in situ stress state of the Maokou Formation in the Longnüsi area of the central Sichuan Basin and provides a basis for the formulation of exploration and development plans for the Maokou Formation reservoir in the study area.

OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to investigate the correlation of Jun N-terminal kinase pathway associated phosphatase (JKAP) with disease risk and inflammation, also to explore the association of its longitudinal change with etanercept (ETN) treatment efficiency in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients. PATIENTS AND METHODS: A total of 107 active RA patients about to receive ETN treatment and 60 healthy controls (HCs) were enrolled in this study. Serum JKAP level was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay in RA patients (at week 0 (W0), W6, W12, and W24) and HCs (at recruitment). RA patients were categorized into W24 response patients and W24 non-response patients, or W24 remission patients and W24 non-remission patients, respectively, according to clinical response status or remission status at W24. RESULTS: JKAP level was reduced in RA patients compared with HCs. In RA patients, decreased baseline JKAP was correlated with elevated C-reaction protein level and anti-citrullinated protein antibodies positive status. Moreover, JKAP level was increased during ETN treatment. Subgroup analyses revealed that JKAP level during ETN therapy was increased in W24 response patients, while no difference was discovered in JKAP level among different time points in W24 non-response patients. Meanwhile, JKAP level during ETN treatment was elevated in both W24 remission patients and W24 non-remission patients, however, its increment was more evident in W24 remission patients. CONCLUSIONS: JKAP correlates with reduced disease risk and inflammation, and its increment during ETN treatment associates with commendable treatment efficiency in RA patients. OBJECTIVE: Recent studies have proved that long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play important roles in many diseases, especially malignancies. The aim of this study was to investigate the exact role of lncRNA HOXA-AS2 (Hoxa cluster antisense RNA 2) in the development of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). PATIENTS AND METHODS: Quantitative Real Time-Polymerase Chain Reaction (qRT-PCR) was utilized to detect HOXA-AS2 expression in NSCLC patients. The Wound healing assay and transwell assay were conducted to explore the function of HOXA-AS2 on NSCLC metastasis. Furthermore, the mechanism assays were used to explore the interaction between HOXA-AS2 and microRNA-145-3p (miR-145-3p). RESULTS: HOXA-AS2 expression level in NSCLC tissues was significantly higher than adjacent tissues. HOXA-AS2 expression was negatively correlated with disease-free survival of NSCLC patients. Moreover, the functional assays showed that the migration and invasion of NSCLC cells were significantly inhibited after HOXA-AS2 in vitro silence. Furthermore, the luciferase reporter gene assay also revealed that miR-145-3p was a direct target of HOXA-AS2 in NSCLC. CONCLUSIONS: Our results indicated that HOXA-AS2 could enhance the migration and invasion abilities of NSCLC by targeting miR-145- 3p. Furthermore, these findings suggested that HOXA-AS2 might be a potential therapeutic target for NSCLC. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Firstly, this paper expounds the research status at home and abroad of three key technologies in the production process of fresh and wet rice flour: efficient powder dispersion, accurate weighing and automatic packaging, and focuses on the key technical problems existing in the research and development of technology and mechanical equipment; Secondly, on the basis of summarizing the development level of existing technology and equipment, this paper further analyzes the main reasons for these problems. Finally, the development direction of three key technologies in the automatic production of fresh and wet rice flour is prospected from the aspects of production technology, mechanical design and system algorithm optimization.

Prognostic nutritional index (PNI) is a parameter reflecting prognosis for various cancers, including resected lung cancer. However, there were few reports to study the relationship between the PNI and overall survival (OS) in patients with advanced (stage IIIB/IV) non-small lung cancer (NSCLC). In this study, we collected the clinical data of 315 patients with advanced (stage IIIB/IV) NSCLC who had received chemotherapy or epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)-tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) between January 2010 and June 2011. Survival curves were plotted using the Kaplan-Meier method. Multivariate analyses were used to evaluate prognostic significance of PNI in patients with advanced (stage IIIB/IV) NSCLC. In our analysis, we found that PNI (p=0.001) was significantly associated with OS in patients with advanced (stage IIIB/IV) NSCLC, so was smoking (p<0.001) and disease stage (p=0.005). We demonstrated that PNI could be utilized to predict survival outcomes in patients with advanced (stage IIIB/IV) NSCLC. Patients with a lower PNI may have worse prognosis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The ecological environment of the Yellow River Basin is sensitive and fragile. Affected by climate change and large-scale, high-intensity human development for a long time, the overall and systemic ecological degradation of the basin is prominent, and the ecological security situation is unoptimistic. To effectively promote ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin and build a strong ecological security barrier, we systematically evaluate the current status and changes of the Yellow River Basin ecosystem in terms of structure and quality in the past two decades, and summarize the main problems and deficiencies existing in the upper, middle, and lower reaches of the Yellow River, including the ecological fragility of the basin, prominent systemic degradation, and the constraints of the current work in terms of institutional mechanism, investment, and implementing effect. Then we propose future ecological protection and restoration strategies. Our research shows that the ecosystem of the Yellow River Basin has maintained a stable structure in the past two decades, but its types have changed significantly; cities and towns have expanded significantly, forest, grasslands, and wetlands have increased, and the desertified area has been significantly reduced. The overall quality of the ecosystem, particularly in the middle reaches, has improved, and degradation still exists in some regions, particularly in the lower reaches. Therefore, we propose that ecological protection and restoration of the Yellow River Basin should be strengthened through three aspects: (1) systematically evaluating the implementing effect of ecological projects, (2) promoting ecological protection and restoration according to local conditions, and (3) innovating the value realization mechanism of ecological products, so as to ensure the ecological security of the region.

Objective: In view of the technical problems such as low efficiency and difficult automatic control of the automatic powder production line for factory rice noodle production. Methods: This research proposed a multi-station automatic powder loading system based on fuzzy control, selecting the deviation E1 between the detected value of the powder height and the preset value, the deviation change rate EC1 and the deviation between the current position of the powder loading car and the position to be loaded. The absolute value E2 was used as the input variable, and the motor speed U1 and the opening degree of the bin door U2 of the powder loading system were used as the output variables. The working efficiency of the powder loading system was improved by adjusting the motor speed and the opening of the bin door of the powder loading system through fuzzy control rules. The control system was built on the Siemens S7-1200 PLC platform, and the field test was carried out. Results: The test showed that for the 6-station automatic powder loading and conveying production line, the operation efficiency of this control system was improved by 103.2% compared with the existing control system, and the output of each station per unit time was increased by 31.4%. Conclusion: The number of stations that the system can accommodate 4 points have been raised. The experiment can be used for reference in the design of the control system for realizing high efficiency and automation of the factory rice flour production line.

In a two-phase heat transfer device, achieving a high capillarity of the wick while reducing flow resistance within a limited space becomes the key to improving the heat dissipation performance. As a commonly used wick structure, mesh is widely employed because of its high permeability. However, achieving the desired capillary performance often requires multiple layers to be superimposed to ensure an adequate capillary, resulting in an increased thickness of the wick. In this study, an ultra-thin biomimetic copper forest structural modification of copper mesh was performed using an electrochemical deposition to solve the contradiction between the permeability and the capillary. The experiments were conducted on a copper mesh to investigate the effects of various conditions on their morphology and capillary performance. The results indicate that the capillary performance of the modified copper mesh improves with a longer deposition time. The capillary pressure drops can reach up to 1400 Pa when using ethanol as the working fluid. Furthermore, the modified copper mesh demonstrates a capillary performance value (ΔPc·K) of 8.44 × 10−8 N, which is 1.7 times higher than that of the unmodified samples. Notably, this enhanced performance is achieved with a thickness of only 142 μm. The capillary limit can reach up to 45 W when the modified copper mesh is only 180 μm. Microscopic flow analysis reveals that the copper forest modified structure maintains the original high permeability of the copper mesh while providing a greater capillary force, thereby enhancing the overall flow characteristics.

The many problems faced by the theory of general relativity (GR) have always motivated us to explore the modified theory of GR. Considering the importance of studying the black hole (BH) entropy and its correction in gravity physics, we study the correction of thermodynamic entropy for a kind of spherically symmetric black hole under the generalized Brans–Dicke (GBD) theory of modified gravity. We derive and calculate the entropy and heat capacity. It is found that when the value of event horizon radius r+ is small, the effect of the entropy-correction term on the entropy is very obvious, while for larger values r+, the contribution of the correction term on entropy can be almost ignored. In addition, we can observe that as the radius of the event horizon increases, the heat capacity of BH in GBD theory will change from a negative value to a positive value, indicating that there is a phase transition in black holes. Given that studying the structure of geodesic lines is important for exploring the physical characteristics of a strong gravitational field, we also investigate the stability of particles’ circular orbits in static spherically symmetric BHs within the framework of GBD theory. Concretely, we analyze the dependence of the innermost stable circular orbit on model parameters. In addition, the geodesic deviation equation is also applied to investigate the stable circular orbit of particles in GBD theory. The conditions for the stability of the BH solution and the limited range of radial coordinates required to achieve stable circular orbit motion are given. Finally, we show the locations of stable circular orbits, and obtain the angular velocity, specific energy, and angular momentum of the particles which move in circular orbits.

Emerging evidence has shown that circular RNAs (circRNAs) are vital regulators in osteosarcoma (OS) progression. However, the effects of circ_WWC3 in OS have not been explored. In this research, the functions and mechanisms of circ_WWC3 in OS were investigated.
