Transportation problems offer a structured approach to optimize the allocation of resources, minimize transportation costs, and improve overall efficiency in supply chain and logistics management, leading to several advantages for businesses and organizations. Fuzzy transportation problems are particularly relevant in supply chain and logistics management when dealing with uncertain demand, fluctuating costs, or imprecise data and the intuitionistic fuzzy transportation problem is a more advanced modeling technique that takes into account the nuanced handling of uncertainty and imprecision using intuitionistic fuzzy sets(IFS). It provides a more realistic approach to decision-making in situations where classical or fuzzy models may not capture the subtleties of uncertainty in data. In this article, we demonstrate a novel approach to resolving transportation problems in a neutrosophic atmosphere. Neutrosophic set is an extension of fuzzy and IFS and it is classified by three independent membership grades: truth, indeterminacy, and falsity membership grade. These sets are better suited to handle imprecise parameters. Transportation cost and demand are taken as neutrosophic numbers. Vogel's approximation method is used to get the optimum solution of this neutrosophic transportation problem. Also, we performed a numerical instance to figure out the successful outcome of our suggested technique. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

SOCIAL media addiction , *BASIC reproduction number , *COGNITIVE therapy , *DELAY differential equations , *TREATMENT delay (Medicine) , *SOCIAL media - Abstract
This paper discusses the problem of social media addiction that pose a major threat to the human population especially children and teenagers. It is well known that Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an effective treatment to treat the addict individuals and delay in the treatment leads the patient to worst stage even to death. Therefore, it is important to identify the individuals who has addiction symptoms at early stage and to provide proper counseling. We propose and analyze a nonlinear mathematical model for social media addiction problem using case detection strategy to reduce the addiction. The basic reproduction number and equilibria of the model are computed. Further, the deterministic model is extended to delay differential equation model by incorporating transmission delay and treatment delay in the system. The local stability of different equilibria is discussed in detail. Additionally, the model is converted to stochastic model and numerical simulation is carried out to compare the results of both deterministic and stochastic model. Numerical result shows that the introduction of time delays can destabilize the model system and Hopf bifurcation occurs due to periodic oscillations when certain equilibrium point crosses the delay threshold limit. Our results of stochastic model show a smaller number of social media users and addict population when compared with deterministic model. Also, our results reveal that detection and counseling parameters play a vital role in reducing addiction population. Presented results clearly suggest that there is a need to use effective detection strategy and suitable counseling program to reduce the social media addiction level. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Inventory managers are expected to handle a large number of items in their inventory while adhering to budgetary and space limits, as well as the number of items bought from vendors. Multi-item inventory models with one or more resource constraints, such as budget, space, or number of orders. This paper talks about an EOQ model in neutrosophic multi-item inventory control models with constraints. The ordering costs, the holding costs, demands, storage area, investment amount, and the maximum average number of units are considered as triangular neutrosophic numbers, as opposed to crisp values, to make the inventory model more realistic. This idea is used to decide the neutrosophic optimal order quantities with the assistance of the Lagrange multiplier. Eventually, the proposed method is delineated with a numerical instance and the results are analysed briefly. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A company may have backorders if they run out of the stock in their stores, in which case, it can just place a new order to restock its shelves. A customer who is willing to wait for some time until the company has restocked the products would have to place a backorder. A backorder only exists if customers are willing to wait for the order. In this paper, a neutrosophic inventory backorder problem using a triangular neutrosophic numbers is introduced. First, we fuzzify the carrying cost and shortage cost as triangular neutrosophic numbers and the signed distance method is used to defuzzify them. From these, we can obtain the neutrosophic optimal shortage quantity and the neutrosophic total cost. A numerical example is provided to illustrate the proposed model in neutrosophic environment. A wireless ad-hoc network is a decentralized ad-hoc network which has no access point earlier time. In this network, data from every node is transferred to another node dynamically based on network connectivity and existing routing algorithm. Many authors introduced various routing techniques to handle the issues in wireless ad-hoc networks. The main concept of this paper is to develop a new network design to improve the service of wireless ad-hoc network by equipping the routes energy efficient using neutrosophic technique. Multi-criteria decision making method under neutrosophic environment is used for making the routes of the network efficiently here. Since neutrosophic set is the generalization of fuzzy and intuitionistic fuzzy sets, the parameters involved in this method like hop-count, data packets, distance and energy are taken from neutrosophic sets. Mathematical analysis for the proposed network design is carried out and results are also discussed here. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

We are examining an individual queue in a Pharmaceutical call center having necessary Poisson arrivals, multiple levels of non-homogeneous service having various service distributions relative to unexpected breakdowns and mandatory abandonment in a Pharmaceutical call center with average abandonment durations. After the initial service, the Pharmaceutical call center usually provides the next level utility. After the procedure of each level of utility, the Pharmaceutical call center will mostly take mandatory periods of abandonment. A server might have a breakdown at few service distributions at an exponential level randomly. This work also aims to completely make the negative customers vanish and this is not an immediate move whereas it takes a certain amount of time to do this process. The probability generating functions that mostly depend on time would usually be received in a non-implicit manner and the results obtained in such a way are also steady. We can also calculate the mean number of consumers that are waiting and the time of waiting. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

PROJECT evaluation , *NETWORK analysis (Planning) , *FUZZY sets - Abstract
One of the most important and challenging jobs that any manager can take in the management of a large scale project that requires coordinating numerous activities throughout the organization. Initially, the activity times are static within the CPM technique and probabilistic within the PERT technique. Since neutrosophic set is the generalization of fuzzy set and intuitionistic fuzzy set, a new method of project evaluation and review technique for a project network in neutrosophic environment is proposed in this paper. Considering single valued neutrosophic number as the time of each activity in the project network, neutrosophic expected task time, neutrosophic variance, neutrosophic critical path and the neutrosophic total expected time for completing the project network are calculated here. The main concept of Neutrosophic Project Evaluation and Review Technique(NPERT) method is to solve the ambiguities in the activity times of a project network easily than other existing methods like classical PERT, Fuzzy PERT etc. The proposed method is explained by an illustrative example and the results are discussed here. Inventory control of an ideal resource is the most important one which fulfils various activities (functions) of an organisation. The supplier gives the discount for an item in the cost of units inorder to motivate the buyers (or) customers to purchase the large quantity of that item. These discounts take the form of price breaks where purchase cost is assumed to be constant. In this paper an EOQ model with price break in inventory model is developed to obtain its optimum solution by assuming neutrosophic demand and neutrosophic purchasing cost as triangular neutrosophic numbers. A numerical example is provided to illustrate the proposed model. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
