- Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore how MathCityMap training for teachers can be designed and implemented in a hybrid setting. Design research has been carried out involving teachers from 34 provinces in Indonesia. A four-day model training program for indoor and outdoor activities in a hybrid setting has been designed. The core concept of designing modeling tasks and math trails, as well as the introduction to MathCityMap, were delivered in a hybrid mode between Indonesia and Germany. The activity continued with the development of MathCityMap Trails in city parks. Post-training activities were conducted in their respective places of origin, in schools, and in city parks. Participants have successfully designed trails in both their schools and the city parks where they live supported using Learning Management System. The findings of the MathCityMap team's review indicate that most of the trails fulfilled the requirements. The trainee teachers then disseminate their knowledge and experience to their colleagues. They also used MathCityMap Trails for classroom learning as well as other activities such as MathCityMap competitions and public educational activities. The hybrid environment helps to accelerate the attainment of training objectives while also broadening the program's reach and network.

The Cirasea River can provide water for both the Bandung basin and agricultural irrigation. Intensive agriculture, industry, and land use changes could have an impact on water quality. The purpose of this study is to look at the origins of heavy metals in riparian water resources. Heavy metal analysis was performed on 13 groundwater and river water samples. Heavy metals in water sources were compared with sediment and soil. The samples were analyzed for heavy metals using an AAS instrument. The research method employs statistical, geographical, and heavy metal pollution index (HPI). The HPI for river water was 131, whereas groundwater was 93. River water with an HPI value of more than 100 is highly polluted, indicating that it is unsafe for human consumption and has negative health consequences. Data verification with heavy metals in sediments reveals the presence of heavy metals coming from geogenic circumstances in various locations in the upstream area. Heavy metals in downstream areas result from geological factors and anthropogenic activities in the surrounding area. The long-term effects of heavy metal pollution along the riparian zone will become apparent. More research is needed on communities that depend on groundwater supplies along the Cirasea watershed.

Stunting or a condition where an individual's height is lower than the majority of their peers due to nutritional issues, poses a significant challenge in the village of Lebosari. The relatively high stunting rates indicate a lack of nutritional awareness and suboptimal utilization of local resources. To address this issue the SEGANTING program has been implemented as a holistic solution. Involving the community in the Discovery, Dream, Design, and Destiny phases, the program includes food innovation, the Community Nutrition Corner, and the village's UMKM bazaar. Prior to the program's commencement, the pre-test results showed an average correct answer rate of 40.33. After the program's implementation, there was a 54% increase, with an average correct answer rate reaching 88.00 in the post-test. This reflects the significant contribution of the SEGANTING program in enhancing the understanding of the Lebosari community regarding nutritional awareness and stunting prevention through the optimization of the village's potential.

- Abstract
In STEM, learning skills and knowledge are learned simultaneously by students. Things that are different from the STEM aspect will require a connecting line that makes the four disciplines studied and applied simultaneously in learning. The utilization of local cultural characters in the STEM learning model is expected to provide solutions to the low ability of students to solve mathematical problems. Through this local culture-based STEM model, students are invited to get to know the richness of their culture and understand its relationship with mathematics subject matter geometry and learn to find problems, plan solutions, and solve their problems. This study aims to analyze the effect of STEM learning based on Bima's local cultural on problem solving ability. This research is experimental. The samples of this research were 2 class X students of SMA Negeri. The instrument used in this research is a test of geometric problem-solving abilities, in the form of an essay test scattered on each sub-concept and indicator tested. The data analysis technique uses the pooled variance t-test. The results showed that the value of t count is more than t table or tobs = 8,150> t0,05,48 = 2,013 so that H0 is rejected. So, it can be concluded that the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) learning model based on Bima's local cultural affect the problem-solving ability. Based on results, the researchers recommended adopting the STEM based on Bima's local cultural learning model in the teaching and learning process, in addition, further researchers can measure students' abilities on other dependent variables.

Science - Abstract
The application of ceramic-based Microbial Fuel Cells (MFCs) for the treatment of tofu liquid waste presents a promising and environmentally sustainable approach. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding variations in substrate concentration and to determine the effect of variations in the surface area of the electrode (anode and cathode), resulting in a maximum power density value for a period of 13 days of measurement. The initial step is measuring the voltage and current with the substrate concentration without a dilution process, then the concentration variations are carried out by dilution 10 times, 8 times, 5 times, 4 times, and 2 times on ceramics with a diameter of 8 cm. The second step is measuring the voltage and current by varying the surface area of the electrodes (cathode and anode). The results of the measurements obtained that the maximum power density value obtained was 188.23 mW/m2 without a dilution process, namely with a concentration of 3640 ppm for the third day. Meanwhile, the results of the measurement of the variation of the electrode surface area obtained a maximum power density value of 205.88 mW/m2 on the electrode surface area of 3.57 m2 for the third day. The more surface area of the electrode given at the time of measurement, the more bacteria contact the electrode, causing the resulting power density value to be even greater.

The basin area is at risk of geological disaster. The Bandung Basin is a crucial part of the country’s political, economic, and social. The Indonesian Disaster Risk Index show average value of 153.85 in 2015–2020 indicates that this region is extremely susceptible to natural disasters because may disaster event happened in this location. The Bandung Basin Region is a crucial economic and political hub for Indonesia. However, its natural environment and the region’s importance as a national strategic sector are at odds with one another. Geological subsurface conditions and vulnerability content must be understood to provide an overall picture of the situation in this location. The main goal of this research is to summarize how underground conditions affect natural disasters, which is the main factor of this event. Earthquakes, landslides, and liquefaction are only a few geological disasters strongly linked to conditions below ground. Due to the Holocene sedimentary layer, the stability of the basin is threatened. All these things happen naturally: liquefaction, subsidence caused by an intercalated sand layer, and structural failure by settlement. Considering the area’s capacity and population growth, more research related to mitigation and laboratory analysis is needed to decide if this area needs to be turned into a strategic city.

- Abstract
The present qualitative research sought to explore teachers' perceptions on gender in EFL teaching and learning. We also try to analyze gender representations in the textbooks used by these teachers. Conducting semi-structured interviews, five preset open-ended questions were provided. These interview questions were led to have focus on teachers' perceptions toward promoting gender, gender differences, and role of gender. All 34 responses of primary and secondary teachers' perceptions were recorded then transcribed. All of the transcriptions were analyzed using thematic analysis, and only the crucial points were showed. The findings were of an interpretative nature with recurring and emerging themes related to the preset questions. The findings yield that a very small number of teachers treat students differently due to their sexes, no textbooks represent specifically gender stereotype, and this stereotypes does not influence students' learning. The interpretation of these findings further provide practical implications for researchers and educators alike.

This study aims to evaluate the psychometric properties of the homophobia scale in students attending religion-based universities in Indonesia. This research is important as homosexuality is a controversial issue in the country and is still a topic of debate. The Homophobia Scale is a tool that assesses attitudes towards homosexuality through 17 items measuring positive affirmation, negative cognition, and the perceived threat of homosexual behavior. The scale was adapted for the Indonesian context, which is predominantly religious, based on The Heterosexual Attitudes Towards Homosexuality (HATH) Scale and Items, originally translated by bilingual experts. The translated scale was then reviewed for content by psychologists and communication experts, and field-tested for reliability and validity. Data from 327 students aged 18–35 from both state and private religion-based universities were analyzed using Rasch model analyses, including principal component analysis (PCA), reliability analysis, and differential item functioning (DIF) assessment. The study found that the homophobia scale accounted for 42.4 % of the raw variance, indicating its unidimensionality. The scale demonstrated an acceptable level of personal reliability and excellent reliability for individual items. Results revealed significant demographic effects, with age and study program showing more differential item functioning (DIF). Male students were more tolerant towards homosexuals than females. Additionally, students at state universities tended to be more tolerant but held negative views of homosexuality when associated with AIDS. In conclusion, the homophobia scale assessed in this study exhibits promising construct validity and sufficient psychometric properties. The findings indicate that negative stigma towards homosexuals and homophobia still persist among students at religion-based universities in Indonesia, despite limited interaction with homosexuals.

With the rapid advancement of information technology and increased internet access in Indonesia, citizens' participation in the digital realm has grown substantially. Digital citizens' presence is crucial in the 2024 Presidential Election, playing a pivotal role in disseminating political information, influencing public opinion, and providing support to candidates. This study examines the digital citizens' discourse on presidential and vice-presidential candidate pairs in the 2024 election in the digital public sphere. The method of issue analysis employs topic modeling with keywords "anies muhaimin," "ganjar mahfud," and "prabowo gibran" on social media platform X. The research findings indicate that the discourse is clustered for each candidate pair. Narratives of support and optimism predominantly characterize the Anies-Muhaimin pair. The Ganjar-Mahfud pair exhibits clusters covering volunteer support, constitutional narratives, development aspirations, uniform buzzer narratives, and support from figures such as Yenny Wahid and advocacy for Palestine. The Prabowo-Gibran pair has clusters discussing support from the younger generation, political dynasty issues, PDIP reactions, and buzzer strategies with massive hashtags. Digital citizens engage in organized and diverse discourses regarding presidential and vice-presidential candidates, emphasizing the importance of understanding these dynamics to ensure responsible participation in the digital political process.

Shallot (Allium cepa L. var ascalonicum) is one of the leading vegetable commodities that is widely used and has high economic value. National shallot productivity continues to decline from year to year, so it is necessary to increase shallot production both in quantity and quality. One way that can be done is to apply effective efforts in the cultivation system such as the use of effective and efficient fertilizer technology. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of using Controlled Release Fertilizer (CRF) technology on the effectiveness test of the shallot variety SS Sakato which was carried out on a 4200 m2 plot of land in Kuningan, West Java. The results show that the use of CRF technology can increase growth (plant height), and the number of tillers, and increase shallot productivity. The increase in plant height at 30 HST increased by an average of 50% for all treatments and then slowed down to 20% in the second month. Regarding the number of tillers, the use of CRF technology can increase by about 38% when compared to controlled plots. Against the weight of the harvest, it can increase by 7-22% higher than the use of NPK fertilizer (comparison). The quality of the shallots produced also shows better with larger tuber sizes and brighter colours.

Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries are among the most common knee injuries. Surgery is often needed when an ACL injury occurs to restore function to the knee. One of the most popular techniques for ACL grafts currently is the use of interference screws. This review summarizes the current state-of-the-art interference screw material, manufacturing process, benefits, and limitations used in ACL reconstruction. The systematic literature review (SLR) methodology comprises this study’s planning, conducting, and reporting stages. Bioresorbable interference screws are fixation devices offering significant advantages in ACL reconstruction over traditional metal interference screws. Additive manufacturing (AM) can provide benefits in producing interference screws compared to traditional/subtractive methods. Developing the interference screw that uses bio composite-based polymers is challenging in AM technology manufacturing. Further research of biocomposite materials and AM printing techniques are some of the most critical areas that can help advance interference screw applications in tissue engineering to encourage the development of functional manufacturing of interference screws. The development of biocomposite material, the novel 3D printer, and the design of interference screws are expected to open up a new era in the reconstruction of ACL.

The West Bogor area experienced a landslide disaster, causing extensive damage to secondary forest areas, plantations, and residential homes. Despite evacuations, the community persists in using the affected land for agriculture. This study aims to develop a land management model based on agroforestry for post-landslide restoration, to prevent landslide reactivation, and to provide benefits for the local community. Introducing an agroforestry system that includes deep-rooted trees and perennial crops on landslide-prone slopes can improve slope stability by enhancing soil structure and water retention, minimising erosion and landslides. The study examines unexplored aspects of landslide characteristics and zoning as a novel approach to improve mitigation strategies. We classify the post-landslides area into depletion, transition, and accumulation zones. The lithology comprises Breccia with pumice and Andesite gravels, a sandy tuff matrix, and Claystone underneath, acting as the slip surface. The northern landslide has depletion, transition, and accumulation zones ranging from 743 to 710 m above sea level (masl), 710 to 694 masl, and 694 to 676 masl. In the southern landslide, these zones range from 783 to 720 masl, 720 to 705 masl, and 705 to 676 masl. Based on the characteristics of those zones, we develop an agroforestry model in a vertical pattern with species strata, fast-growing local plants, strong and deep roots, and a relatively high evapotranspiration rate. The depletion zone is managed as a complex agroforestry system (forest type) consisting primarily of forest plants and plantation crops. The transition zone is a complex agroforestry (garden type) with plantation crops and some forest plants. The accumulation zone is a simple agroforestry system with seasonal crops. On almost flat land in an accumulation zone suitable for Oryza sativa cultivation, we apply Cocos nucifera as a protective plant. Soil fertility in all zones is improved with organic and inorganic fertilization, and it also increases the mycorrhizal population through the planting of leguminous plants. The multistrata agroforestry model, created and adapted to the specific characteristics and zoning of landslide-prone areas, is expected to significantly enhance landslide restoration and erosion mitigation and reduce the risk of future landslides. Such approaches can be extended to regions with comparable characteristics.

Despite the importance of academic writing skills in higher education, many Indonesian students encounter challenges that constrain their writing success. Earlier studies in the context have shown that many students have little control over the schematic structure of the argumentative text and their linguistics features. In the current paper, we aimed to document a classroom practice where direct and indirect supports were given to the students during the course of academic writing at an English Education program in a private university in Jakarta, Indonesia. From our reflection on the practice, students benefited from the two supports given to them in each stage of a writing activity. Students were shown to have sufficient knowledge about the academic literature, how to search journal articles, and how to comprehend and annotate the articles' contents. Despite the students' positive feedback, we found that the average students' writings were not satisfactory. While students had sufficient knowledge to select and use appropriate academic words, there appeared substantial issues concerning the development of ideas and arguments to support the idea. We observed that students had limited time to practice, and this inhibited them from producing a good academic essay. The academic writing course syllabus and its timetable thus should be revisited to address such issues.
