The development of information and communication technologies (ICT) has led to many innovative technologies. The integration of technologies such as the internet of things (IoT), cloud computing, and machine learning concepts have given rise to Industry 4.0. Fog and edge computing have stepped in to fill the areas where cloud computing is inadequate to ensure these systems work quickly and efficiently. The number of connected devices has brought about cybersecurity issues. This study reviewed the current literature regarding edge/fog-based cybersecurity in IoT to display the current state.

In today’s world, digital transformation enhancement in IT sector becomes crucial for efficient solutions in organizations. Institutions in public sector try to enrich its process solutions with additional products and services. On the other hand, especially in developing countries, there is a high tendency to obtain products with domestic resources in order to reduce financial expenses. Besides, it may be crucial for public and military institutions to develop IT products with domestic resources in order to preserve data security and privacy. Thus, there is a need to develop a reliable scale to measure nationality and domesticity of products. This study attempts to construct a methodology for determining country of origin of IT products. Suggested methodology was verified by interviews with experts in subject area.

Understanding the main focus of social media for learning studies and how they are conducted is important to understand where the research is headed. Hence, this study is aimed to explore and analyze state of the art articles that focus on both social media and learning. Meta-analysis is employed as a methodology and 152 articles published between 2008 and 2017 are investigated through content analysis. The results are interpreted with descriptive statistics. As a result, it is found that; (1) most of the studies incorporate Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube for learning, (2) the majority of studies are based on students, (3) quantitative approach using surveys are frequent while case studies and experimental designs are the primary means of research method, (4) higher education is in the focus of the studies, (5) Europe contributed to the literature the most, and (6) the number of studies is increasing throughout the years. The swift enhancement of technology has affected the business environment while higher education alone no longer plays a definitive role in the employment process. To meet the emerging requirements of employers, individuals, specifically students, need to develop more entrepreneurial tendencies. The aim of this study is to investigate the factors affecting the entrepreneurial intention (EI) of university students. In order to do so, eight constructs (EI, individual entrepreneurial orientation (IEO), self-efficacy, perceived educational support, perceived relational support, perceived structural support, knowledge sharing and gender) and their items taken from existing literature were used within the proposed model, and the constructed hypotheses were evaluated using structural equation modelling (SEM). In total, 268 surveys were returned by students of various universities. The findings of this study show that self-efficacy is the strongest influencer of students’ EI. The findings also show the mediating influence of self-efficacy on the environmental components. Additionally, male students are more likely than female students to have EI. Overall, this study will help establish the influencers of EI among university students.

Karar verme, günlük yaşamın her alanında karşılaştığımız bir süreçtir. Amaca hizmet edecek alternatiflerin çeşitliliği, karar verme sürecinin daha karmaşık bir hâl almasına sebep olmaktadır. Bu yapıdaki problemler literatürde çok kriterli karar verme problemleri olarak tanımlanmaktadır.Kuruluş yeri seçimi de çok kriterli karar verme problemi olarak nitelendirilebilen bir süreçtir. Kuruluş yeri, bir işletmenin maliyetlerini minimize, kârını da maksimize ederek faaliyet gösterebileceği optimum yerdir. Yanlış seçildiği takdirde işletmeye ilave masraf doğurabileceği gibi kapanmasına da sebep olabileceğinden işletmeler için hayati önem taşımaktadır. Özellikle ülke ekonomisinin büyük bir çoğunluğunu oluşturan küçük ve mikro işletmeler açısından büyük önem arz etmektedir.Bu çalışmada, küçük ve mikro işletme sınıfına giren esnaf ve sanatkârın faaliyetlerini gerçekleştirecekleri optimum kuruluş yeri seçiminde onlara yardımcı olacak, İzmir Esnaf ve Sanatkâr Odaları Birliği'nin Alo Esnaf projesi kapsamında kullanılabilecek bir uygulama geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada, esnaf ve sanatkârların kuruluş yeri seçimi problemi çok kriterli karar verme problemlerinden AHP ile çözümü web tabanlı olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Decision-making is a process we all come across daily. The variety of alternatives that serve a specific purpose makes for a complicated decision-making process. In literature, problems of this structure are defined as a multi-criteria decision-making problem.The selection of a place of establishment can be qualified as a multi-criteria decision-making problem. A place of establishment is the optimal place a business can run operations from where they can minimise their costs while maximizing their profit. The place of establishment is of vital importance as a wrong choice can produce additional expenses and can even cause the establishment to go out of business. It is especially vital for small and micro establishments who are the backbone of the country.The aim of this study is to develop an application as part of the Alo Esnaf project run by İzmir Union of Tradesmen and Craftsmen that aids these establishments in finding the optimal place of business for them to run their operations. The place of establishment problem was solved using the multi-criteria decision making method AHP on a web-based platform. 101
