A 19-year-old female presented with off-white colored depigmented macules over her laft fore arm. A clinical diagnosis of nevus depigentosus was made. As the patient had cosmetic concern regarding that lesion, she was treated with noncultured epidermal suspension technique. She had more than 90% repigmentation after 6 months of the procedure and the pigment was retained at 1-year follow-up. Varicella or chickenpox is usually regarded as a self-limiting disease, but occasionally it may lead to irreversible neurological complications. Isolated lower motor neuron facial nerve palsy is a rare complication of varicella, with very few cases reported from the Indian subcontinent. We report one such case, where the patient developed facial palsy after healing of cutaneous lesions and recovered completely with oral corticosteroids.
