Diagnosis is challenging, as the sensitivity of classic diagnostic investigations remains low for detecting cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) tumor spread and exclusion of infectious causes is mandatory, especially if unusual clinical findings are present.

POCs are considered to be giant when the threshold of 150 mm is exceeded. Clinical signs and symptoms occur as a consequence of the pressure effect on adjacent organs or due to complications. Abdominal ultrasonography, computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging are useful imaging tools, but most often the exact origin of such voluminous cysts is revealed only by surgical exploration. The review aims to appraise and update the diagnostic, the histological aspects and the treatment of the giant POCs in rare cases. We carried out a systematic search in Medline-PubMed, Google Scholar and ResearchGate electronic databases. Twenty-seven papers fulfilling the selection criteria were included in the review. The data extracted included information about first author, year of publication, country, patient age, size and side of the POCs, symptoms, tumoral markers, imaging methods, preoperative diagnosis, surgical management and histopathological findings. Although not very numerous, all the studies highlighted the low incidence of giant POCs, the impossibility of establishing the origin of the cystic mass by clinical and imaging methods even with advanced technical tools and the low risk of torsion (11.1%). Despite the recognized benign nature of POCs, we found an unexpected high percent (25.9%) of borderline giant POCs. Surgical excision is the only treatment option. Ovarian-sparing surgery was performed in 85.1% of the cases, and minimally invasive techniques were applied in only 42.9% of the patients, which demonstrates the need of a high-level laparoscopic expertise. Knowledge of this pathology, its recognition as a possible etiology of an abdominopelvic cyst, and a higher awareness of the possibility of a borderline histology in giant POCs are required for the proper management of these particular cases.Keywords: paraovarian cyst, paratubal cyst, giant, serous cystadenoma, torsion, management

Two samples of silicon pad sensors and two samples of GaAs sensors are studied in an electron beam with 5 GeV energy from the DESY-II test-beam facility. The sizes of the silicon and GaAs sensors are about 9$\times$9 cm$^2$ and 5$\times$8 cm$^2$, respectively. The thickness is 500 micrometer for both the silicon and GaAs sensors. The pad size is about 5$\times$5 mm$^2$. The sensors are foreseen to be used in a compact electromagnetic sampling calorimeter. The readout of the pads is done by metal traces connected to the pads and the front-end ASICs at the edges of the sensors. For the silicon sensors, copper traces on a Kapton foil are connected to the sensor pads with conducting glue. The pads of the GaAs sensors are connected to bond-pads via aluminium traces on the sensor substrate. The readout is based on a dedicated front-end ASIC, called FLAME. Pre-processing of the raw data and deconvolution is performed with FPGAs. The whole system is orchestrated by a Trigger Logic Unit. Our paper reviews some key concepts in chemical reaction network theory and mathematical epidemiology, and examines their intersection, with three goals. The first is to make the case that mathematical epidemiology (ME), and also related sciences like population dynamics, virology, ecology, etc., could benefit by adopting the universal language of essentially non-negative kinetic systems as developed by chemical reaction network (CRN) researchers. In this direction, our investigation of the relations between CRN and ME lead us to propose for the first time a definition of ME models, stated in Open Problem 1. Our second goal is to inform researchers outside ME of the convenient next generation matrix (NGM) approach for studying the stability of boundary points, which do not seem suficiently well known. Last but not least, we want to help students and researchers who know nothing about either ME or CRN to learn them quickly, by offering them a Mathematica package "BootCamp", located at https://github.com/adhalanay/epidemiology_crns, including illustrating notebooks (and certain sections below will contain associated suggested notebooks; however, readers with experience may safely skip the bootcamp). We hope that the files indicated in the titles of various sections will be helpful, though of course improvement is always possible, and we ask the help of the readers for that.

We introduce the Cuntz-Thomsen picture of $\mathcal{C}$-equivariant Kasparov theory, denoted $\mathrm{KK}^\mathcal{C}$, for a unitary tensor category $\mathcal{C}$ with countably many isomorphism classes of simple objects. We use this description of $\mathrm{KK}^\mathcal{C}$ to prove the stable uniqueness theorem in this setting.

The results obtained by estimating the contribution of $^8$Be and $^9$B nuclei to the coherent dissociation of $^{10}$C, $^{10}$B, and $^{12}$C relativistic nuclei in nuclear track emulsions (``white'' stars) are presented. The selection of ``white'' stars accompanied by $^9$B leads to a distinct peak appearing in the distribution of the excitation energy of 2$\alpha$2$p$ ensembles and having a maximum at 4.1 $\pm$ 0.3 MeV. A $^8$Be nucleus manifests itself in the coherent-dissociation reaction $^{10}$B $\to$ 2He + H with a probability of (25 $\pm$ 5)\%, (14 $\pm$ 3)\% of it being due to $^9$B decays. The ratio of the branching fractions of the $^9$B + $n$ and $^9$Be + $p$ mirror channels is estimated at 6 $\pm$ 1. An analysis of the relativistic dissociation of $^{12}$C nuclei in a nuclear track emulsion revealed nine 3$\alpha$ events corresponding to the Hoyle state.

Nuclear Experiment - Abstract
The structural features of $^{10}$B are studied by analyzing the dissociation of nuclei of this isotope at an energy of 1 A GeV in nuclear track emulsion. The fraction of the $^{10}$B $\to$ 2He + H channel in the charge state distribution of fragments is 78\%. It was determined based on the measurements of fragment emission angles that unstable $^{8}$Be$_{g.s.}$ nuclei appear with a probability of (26 $\pm$ 4)\%, and (14 $\pm$ 3)\% of them are produced in decays of an unstable $^9$B$_{g.s.}$ nucleus. Axion-like particles (ALPs) have been searched for with a quasi-parallel stimulated resonant photon-photon collider sensitive to the sub-eV mass range by focusing two-color near-infrared pulse lasers into a vacuum. In this work, we have developed a specialized coronagraphy to mitigate the dominant background photons from optical elements by introducing an eclipse filter. The observed number of signal-like photons was found to be consistent with residual background photons from optical elements through an additional test by degrading the focal point overlapping factor between the two lasers. We then extended the exclusion region in the relation between ALP-photon coupling, $g/M$, and the ALP mass $m$, reaching the most sensitive point $g/M = 4.2\times10^{-7}\,\mathrm{GeV^{-1}}$ at $m = 0.15\,\mathrm{eV}$ for pseudoscalar ALPs., Comment: 23 pages, 9 figures. arXiv admin note: text overlap with arXiv:2208.09880

Design and implementation of rehabilitation fixed prosthetics need to take account of the need for realization as long as possible of a congruence between the denture and tissues of stomatognathic system, but also ensure excellent resistance to environmental. Although the concepts underlying the principles listed are different, each of them incorporates elements of significance for the biomechanical balancing of the dento-prosthetic assembly. One of the main prophylactic problems is the discerning use of dento-periodontal or, as the case may be, muco-osseous support, in order to disperse as much as possible the pressure and traction forces on the different elements of the prosthetic field. Observing the curative principle involves obtaining a rebuilding morphofunctional able to provide replay functions altered, the optimal conditions. The transition from health levels to mental illness can be done gradually, the evolution being caused among others by: deterioration of brain function (imbalance in the bio-chemical functioning of the brain); hereditary, genetic inheritance (this has not been proven with certainty; what has been shown, however, is the tendency for this type of disease to appear – more than in other families); a high level of stress; a family life without harmony; professional and social conflicts; interpersonal conflicts; loss of a loved one,etc. Material and method:The material of study includes a number of 55 patients with disabilities mental and drug, rehabilitated prosthetic. Results and discussions: People with mental disabilities are protected in institutions such as mental asylum, hospitals with special regime, rehabilitation center for the disabled and other specialized institutions where people with this type of disability are employed. Conclusions: The description of the lesions is necessary for an etiological diagnosis because the appearance of stomatitis orients us on the medicinal origin.

Diabetes is a chronic metabolic disease due to an absolute or relative deficiency of effective insulin, which primarily causes disruption of carbohydrate metabolism, followed by disruption of lipid, protein, hydromineral and acid-base metabolism, is often a genetically determined disease and/or acquired, with a chronic stage evolution. The importance of the diabetic field in prosthetic rehabilitation is not only determined by the high frequency of complications and the fact that in these patients any aggression, even limited, can lead to a vicious circle in which the local injury aggravates the diabetic condition, and this, in turn, gets the local evolution of the lesions worse, but also by the particularities that the diabetic disease induces at the level of all the elements of the prosthetic field. Chemical diabetes (prediabetes) represents a stage of diabetes, which is characterized by lack of clinical signs and symptoms in diabetes (asymptomatic diabetes). In diabetes, it is characteristic to disturb other forms of metabolism; in diabetes, the entire apparatus for regulating carbohydrate metabolism is affected, the various links of which are closely linked, being controlled by the central nervous system. Material and method: We studied diabetes risk factor in prosthetic rehabilitation on a group of 86 patients with diabetes and obesity. Results and discussions:The anamnesis, the research of the personal and heredocolateral antecedents are compulsory steps that any dentist must go through in the face of more difficult cases. Conclusions: The prophylaxis of this disease is an urgent social necessity nowadays.

COVID-19 risk of infection from someone who does not pose a kind of symptoms is very small; it is possible to get COVID-19 from someone who has a mild cough without feeling sick. The elderly and people with pre-existing medical conditions (high blood pressure, heart disease or diabetes) appear to develop a severe form of the disease, more often than the other categories. By September 7, in Romania, 95,897 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) were confirmed. 40,454 patients were declared cured and 12,339 asymptomatic patients were discharged 10 days after detection. On September 8, 883 were found of new cases of people infected with SARS-VOC-2. Coronavirus strains are viruses of the class are seven in number, including the 2019-nCoV. Four of the strains cause common colds, while the others have led to epidemics: SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome), which erupted in China in 2002 and spread globally in 2003; MERS (Middle East respiratory Syndrome) – was discovered in 2012 in Saudi Arabia; Covid-19 (coronavirus disease that wAS discovered 2019) -, disease triggered by the coronavirus that has was discovered in 2019; new strain of coronavirus was first identified in the city ‘s Wuhan, Hubei Province and China (in December 2019).

Prosthetic deal with methods of morphological-functional and aesthetic restoration of the maxillary (ADM) by means of biocompatible prostheses. The type of restored structures determines the delimitation of two distinct sub-domains: dental prosthetics and maxillofacial prosthetics; the first approaches the restoration of the dento-alveolar arches, and the second the prosthesis of other maxillofacial structures.. Orthodontics as a branch of dentistry has emerged as a way to correct dental malocclusions (poor alignment of teeth), but in contemporary society its goal has become to obtain an optimal position of facial soft tissues, so improving facial aesthetics while obtaining a functional occlusion (bites). Material and method: The paper presents an epidemiological study, conducted by clinical examination and observation sheets, of a representative group of 5 9 children aged 6-16 years, adolescents and young adults, which aimed to analyze the causes associated with the need for application prosthetic treatments in growing patients and establishing the frequency of prosthetic treatment necessary and performed at the level of permanent teeth. Results and discussions: There is a need to establish a prosthetic treatment for the growing patients, highlighting the consequences of non-prosthesis, as well as identifying treatment solutions targeted to each stage of age. Conclusions: Prosthetic treatments present in growing patients, satisfy a small proportion of their needs.

Dentistry for children (pediatric dentistry – pedodontics) is the discipline that deals with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of simple and complicated caries, dental fractures, gingival pathology and oral mucosa in children and adolescents. Recently, there has been a significant increase in the morbidity of dental diseases in children, through the early appearance of carious lesions and its complications, increased frequency of periodontal diseases and inflammatory diseases of the oro-maxillo-facial region, with loco-regional and general repercussions, prevalence of inflammatory processes odontogenic of the oro-maxillo-facial region. The unfavorable situation of the health of the oral cavity in children causes the increase of children’s morbidity and the aggravation of the evolution of somatic diseases, which influence the oral health; untreated dental diseases are the persistence of chronic foci of odontogenic infection, which have a triggering or promoting role in the development of systemic diseases. The main factors that have an impact on the quality of daily life of children are: dental pain, lack of permanent teeth due to their early extraction due to caries damage and its complications, dental trauma. Dentistry for children is necessary from an early age, among the most common diseases are dental caries, gingivitis, infections, non-conforming eruptions of teeth or dental crowding.

- Abstract
This interim report shares emerging findings and recommendations from a collaborative project. The project examines post-16 Education and Training (E&T) in the UK. It is focused on analysing the divergent approaches to E&T policy across the four devolved nations to understand more deeply the key policy issues and challenges facing E&T and the kinds of structures that support young people's transitions from education to employment and help them live fulfilling lives. The authors, therefore, focus on the interplay between policies, participation, and outcomes across the four nations, particularly examining issues of inequality for young people. Through the combination of detailed comparative policy analysis and comparative quantitative analysis of a range of nation-specific datasets, the authors aim to address the following key questions: (1) Mapping the UK E&T policy contexts: In what key areas is post-16 E&T policy in the four nations converging and diverging?; (2) Comparing routes and choices: How are differences in post-16 institutions and policies reflected in participation and pathways for learners?; and (3) Outcomes and inequalities: How are differences in post-16 institutions and policies reflected in learner outcomes?

This essay reviews some key concepts in mathematical epidemiology and examines the intersection of this field with related scientific disciplines, such as chemical reaction network theory and Lagrange-Hamilton geometry. Through a synthesis of theoretical insights and practical perspectives, we underscore the significance of essentially non-negative kinetic systems in the development and implementation of robust epidemiological models. Dynamic hedging is the practice of periodically transacting financial instruments to offset the risk caused by an investment or a liability. Dynamic hedging optimization can be framed as a sequential decision problem; thus, Reinforcement Learning (RL) models were recently proposed to tackle this task. However, existing RL works for hedging do not consider market impact caused by the finite liquidity of traded instruments. Integrating such feature can be crucial to achieve optimal performance when hedging options on stocks with limited liquidity. In this paper, we propose a novel general market impact dynamic hedging model based on Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) that considers several realistic features such as convex market impacts, and impact persistence through time. The optimal policy obtained from the DRL model is analysed using several option hedging simulations and compared to commonly used procedures such as delta hedging. Results show our DRL model behaves better in contexts of low liquidity by, among others: 1) learning the extent to which portfolio rebalancing actions should be dampened or delayed to avoid high costs, 2) factoring in the impact of features not considered by conventional approaches, such as previous hedging errors through the portfolio value, and the underlying asset's drift (i.e. the magnitude of its expected return)., Comment: 13 pages, 5 figures

We show that, in this category, inductive limits exist and there is a natural notion of approximate unitary equivalence. This Technical Design Report presents a detailed description of all aspects of the LUXE (Laser Und XFEL Experiment), an experiment that will combine the high-quality and high-energy electron beam of the European XFEL with a high-intensity laser, to explore the uncharted terrain of strong-field quantum electrodynamics characterised by both high energy and high intensity, reaching the Schwinger field and beyond. The further implications for the search of physics beyond the Standard Model are also discussed.

We investigate $^*$-homomorphisms with nuclear dimension equal to zero. In the framework of classification of $^*$-homo-morphisms, we characterise such maps as those that can be approximately factorised through an AF-algebra. Along the way, we obtain various obstructions for the total invariant of zero-dimensional morphisms and show that in the presence of real rank zero, nuclear dimension zero can be completely determined at the level of the total invariant. Tau neutrino is the least studied lepton of the Standard Model (SM). The NA65/DsTau experiment targets to investigate $D_s$, the parent particle of the $\nu_\tau$, using the nuclear emulsion-based detector and to decrease the systematic uncertainty of $\nu_\tau$ flux prediction from over 50% to 10% for future beam dump experiments. In the experiment, the emulsion detectors are exposed to the CERN SPS 400 GeV proton beam. To provide optimal conditions for the reconstruction of interactions, the protons are required to be uniformly distributed over the detector's surface with an average density of $10^5~\rm{cm^{-2}}$ and the fluctuation of less than 10%. To address this issue, we developed a new proton irradiation system called the target mover. The new target mover provided irradiation with a proton density of $0.98~\rm{cm^{-2}}$ and the density fluctuation of $2.0\pm 0.3$% in the DsTau 2021 run., Comment: 9 pages, 16 figures
