This study aimed to explore the critical role of FUNDC1 on epithelial cells in model of asthma. Patients with asthma and normal healthy volunteers were obtained from our hospital. The serum of FUNDC1 mRNA expression was down-regulated in patients with asthma. Meanwhile, the serum of FUNDC1 mRNA expression was positive correlation with IgE and anti-HDM IgE protein. FUNDC1 expression in lung tissue of mice model was decreased in mice model of asthma. Sh-FUNDC1 enhanced asthma in mice model of asthma. FUNDC1 up-regulation reduced IL-4, IL-5, IL-10 and IL-13 activity levels in vitro model of asthma.FUNDC1 down-regulation promoted IL-4, IL-5, IL-10 and IL-13 activity levels in vitro model of asthma. FUNDC1 reduced ferroptosis of epithelial cells in model of asthma through the inhibition of mitochondrial damage. FUNDC1 induced FBXL2 and AR protein expression in model of asthma. FUNDC1 interlinked with FBXL2 is modified by SUMO1 at K136. FBXL2, ASN-205, GLN-204, ARG-235, and GLN-237 form hydrogen bonds with FUNDC1's ASP-15, ASP-16, GLU-25, and ARG-29, with lengths of 2.3, 3.1, 2.9, 2.3, and 2.9 Å, respectively. The induction of FBXL2 reduced the effects of Sh-FUNDC1 on asthma in mice model of asthma. The inhibition of AR reduced the effects of Sh-FUNDC1 on asthma in mice model of asthma Overall, FUNDC1 prevents ferroptosis of airway epithelial cells of asthma through FBXL2/AR/GPX4 signaling pathway of SUMO1 at K136. Plant-associated microbiota affect pant growth and development by regulating plant hormones homeostasis. Indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), a well-known plant hormone, can be produced by various plant-associated bacteria. However, the prevalence of bacteria with the capacity to degrade IAA in the rhizosphere has not been systematically studied. In this study, we analyzed the IAA degradation capabilities of bacterial isolates from the roots of Arabidopsis and rice. Using genomics analysis and in vitro assays, we found that 21 out of 183 taxonomically diverse bacterial isolates possess the ability to degrade IAA. Through comparative genomics and transcriptomic assays, we identified iac-like or iad-like operon in the genomes of these IAA degraders. Additionally, the putative regulator of the operon was found to be highly conserved among these strains through protein structure similarity analysis. Some of the IAA degraders could utilize IAA as their carbon and energy source. In planta, most of the IAA degrading strains mitigated Arabidopsis and rice seedling root growth inhibition (RGI) triggered by exogenous IAA. Moreover, RGI caused by complex synthetic bacterial community can be alleviated by introducing IAA degraders. Importantly, we observed increased colonization preference of IAA degraders from soil to root according to the frequency of the biomarker genes in metagenome-assembled genomes (MAGs) collected from different habitats, suggesting that there is a close association between IAA degraders and IAA producers. In summary, our findings further the understanding of the functional diversity and potential biological roles of plant-associated bacteria in host plant root morphogenesis. Catalysts containing manganese as the primary active component have emerged as promising candidates for ultra-low temperature NH3-SCR applications. To enhance the catalytic activity of these catalysts, a series of Mn-FeOX catalysts were prepared using the co-precipitation method. This study focuses on investigating the appropriate calcination process for catalyst preparation using different precipitants, namely NaOH, NH3-H2O and Na2CO3. The results revealed that catalysts prepared with Na2CO3 as the preferred precipitant and calcined at 330∘C exhibited exceptional NOx removal efficiency, exceeding 90% at a temperature of 60∘C and GHSV = 30,000 h − 1 , which demonstrated this catalyst's remarkable low-temperature reduction capability. Detailed characterization demonstrated that the MnOX catalysts synthesized through this process possessed an amorphous structure, superior pore structure and the highest Fe 3 + content. These findings offer valuable insights for optimizing the preparation conditions of Mn-FeOX catalysts in ultra-low temperature denitrification applications. In this study, the precipitation and calcination processes during the preparation of Mn-FeOX catalysts were improved. The catalysts prepared by selecting Na2CO3 at the appropriate calcination temperatures have the advantages of excellent pore structure and stronger redox capacity in comparison, and the NOX removal rate of more than 90% at ultra-low temperature of 60∘C is impressive. Stress fibers are actomyosin bundles that regulate cellular mechanosensation and force transduction. Interacting with the extracellular matrix through focal adhesion complexes, stress fibers are highly dynamic structures regulated by myosin motors and crosslinking proteins. Under external mechanical stimuli such as tensile forces, the stress fiber remodels its architecture to adapt to external cues, displaying properties of viscoelastic materials. How the structural remodeling of stress fibers is related to the generation of contractile force is not well understood. In this work, we simulate mechanochemical dynamics and force generation of stress fibers using the molecular simulation platform MEDYAN. We model stress fiber as two connecting bipolar bundles attached at the ends to focal adhesion complexes. The simulated stress fibers generate contractile force that is regulated by myosin motors and α -actinin crosslinkers. We find that stress fibers enhance contractility by reducing the distance between actin filaments to increase crosslinker binding, and this structural remodeling ability depends on the crosslinker turnover rate. Under tensile pulling force, the stress fiber shows an instantaneous increase of the contractile forces followed by a slow relaxation into a new steady state. While the new steady state contractility after pulling depends only on the overlap between actin bundles, the short-term contractility enhancement is sensitive to the tensile pulling distance. We further show that this mechanical response is also sensitive to the crosslinker turnover rate.
