The article deals with the results of a sociological research focused on the interaction processes between employers and universities. We selected several information technologies companies and analyzed the main technologies of their interaction with universities of St. Petersburg. The article offers the vision of employers, universities and students interactions as a kind of social network, analyses the conflicting interests of every subject involved, and reveals the main problems that interaction arises between them. The results of the questioning of graduates, their opinion of problems in the modern youth labor market, which is dramatically short of skills because of the increasing gap between the needs of employers and the abilities of the staff provided by the education system, are analyzed.

The article analyzes the specific aspects of interaction between government, businesses and higher education in the Russian youth labor market. The carried out analysis of documents regulating the youth employment enabled us to identify the basic aspects of state regulation in this sphere that can facilitate the cooperation between businesses and universities. The authors conducted a survey among the competent representatives of higher education and business to investigate how these parties interact when solving the problems of youth employment. The research identifies the main forms of the interaction between business and universities in Russia. The authors concluded that there is a current trend of strengthening interaction between universities and businesses regarding the employment of university graduates, although the state still plays a significant role in regulating their employment.

International audience; The article analyzes the results of an empirical study of the causes of destructive motivation of personnel in Russian commercial organizations. The study was conducted by questioning two hundred employees of commercial organizations in Moscow. The purpose of the research is to reveal the opinion of employees on the causes of destructive motivation of personnel and measures for their elimination. The empirical study revealed the influence of organizational factors on the existence of destructive personnel motivation in organizations, such as: labor organization; remuneration system, benefits and career management; control over the activities of employees; group communications and organizational culture. The study revealed the impact of personal characteristics of employees on destructive motivation. In the course of the survey, the degree of influence of various groups of reasons on the demotivation of employees in the studied commercial organizations was revealed, as well as on the micro-political motivation of employees. In the course of the questionnaire, assessments of the main forms of destructive behavior were obtained, which allowed for developing more detailed recommendations for limiting this negative phenomenon. The practical significance of the research is the results of an analysis of various factors of the internal environment of the organization and the personal characteristics of employees that are significant for the formation of destructive motivation of employees of Russian companies in a transitional economy.

The article presents findings of an empiric sociological survey of corporate governance at middle-sized industrial corporations in Russia. Evaluation of the effect of a market, federal law, internal corporate standards, and actions of corporate governance bodies on control and alignment of interests of participants of corporate governance has been given. Based on a content-analysis technique, which was applied to annual statements of middle-sized industrial corporations, formation of an insider model of corporate governance, approval of major owners at the corporate governance bodies, who are usually chairpersons of the Board of Directors and general managers of such companies, has been confirmed. A degree of focus on interaction with main stakeholder groups, such as consumers, customers, suppliers, personnel, partners and banks, and governmental authorities was discovered in the course of survey. According to the survey, the corporate law is the primary regulator of corporate relations, internal corporate standards and rules are hardly demanded, and non-formal relations with representatives of the governmental structures take an important place, and behaviour motivation is defined by rational profit motives. Activity of corporate governance bodies is formalized, ensuring solutions for matters of procedure. Evaluation of the corporate governance at middle-sized industrial corporations was obtained by way of a questionnaire survey. The level of agreement of interests of their parties was discovered. This article presents a detailed analysis of the matter of conflicts of participants of corporate relations, ways of overcoming such conflicts, based on defining priorities in fulfilling interests of participants of corporate governance. The respondents measure the level of corporate governance at middle-sized corporations as satisfactory and corresponding to interests of main participants of corporate relations. The paper analyzes the processes of mass media data content impact on social processes taking place within society. The key role of modern mass media in person’s life as a society’s information base is brought into focus. In this context the problem of circulating information quality and adequacy of information presentation of social processes of mass media is stated. The results of mass media activity influence many social processes, particularly the process of society’s professional structure formation. When commenting profession representatives and professional activity it forms certain image of society’s professional structure. Mass media influence on real occupational skill structure of society makes itself felt through the formation of social & professional hierarchy in person’s consciousness, the hierarchy closely related to the idea of status value of one or another profession, influencing on occupational choice. The results of the empiric study of information presentation of professional structure of the Russian society in mass media realized by means of content analysis of print media publications are represented. Regression model is built based on collected data to study interrelation between a number of factors such as actual professional structure of the Russian society, information presentation of professional structure created by mass media, need for specialists, average salary, status value of professions, and various professional groups.

In this paper we on the basis of expert interview method generalize and analyze real social practices of Russian scientific journals linked to the realization of copyright allocation when publishing scientific articles. It was found that conclusion of written copyright agreement is performed only in exceptional cases and there are three types of such cases. The analysis of copyright allocation between an author and a journal showed the dependence of the allocation on the journal’s policy. As a rule, practically all the property rights, except for the right for author’s copy, are passed to journal. We also analyze the conditions for allocation of journal’s issues in the Internet. We have established that policy of Russian journals often includes granting of open access to articles. Main types of violations committed by Russian authors in respect of journals are generalized. The authors of the paper come to the conclusion that despite the fact the legislative framework concerning turnover and protection of intellectual property in the Russian Federation is by and large formed, the everyday practice in this area demonstrates significant stagnation in implementation of legally set standards. The realization of copyright in the sphere of publication of scientific articles in Russian journals in everyday practice is mainly regulated by the system of informal standards. Among them there are still the standards applied in the Soviet times.
