Abstract

The aim of this article is to establish some integral transforms of the generalized Lommel-Wright functions, which are expressed in terms of Wright Hypergeometric function. Some integrals involving trigonometric, generalized Bessel and Struve functions are also indicated as special cases of our main results. Resumen El objetivo de este artículo es establecer algunas transformadas integrales de las funciones generalizadas de Lommel-Wright, que se expresan en términos de la función hipergeométrica de Wright. Algunas integrales que involucran funciones trigonométricas, de Bessel generalizadas y de Struve también se obtienen como casos especiales de nuestros resultados principales.

Abstract

In this paper, performance analysis of conventional spectral amplitude coding (CSAC) with hybrid (HSAC) for OCDMA system is investigated in local area network (LAN) environment. The CSAC is built based on arithmetic sequence with simple algebraic ways. The HSAC technique is used in which spectral amplitude coding (SAC) combined with wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) to effectively reduce multiple access interference (MAI) and mitigate the influence of phase induced intensity noise (PIIN) arising in photodetecting process. The main idea is to construct the code sequences in SAC domain then repeat it diagonally in the wavelength domain as groups which maintains the same cardinality of a given code weight. Results show that HSAC outperforms CSAC when the number of active users is high due to its better correlation properties. It has been shown that the HSAC can suppress intensity noise effectively and improve the bandwidth utilization significantly up to 4.2 nm.

Abstract

Slurry erosion poses a serious threat which causes damage to slurry handling equipment, as it leads to substantial expenditure owing to faults, downtime and material alternative costs. High velocity oxy fuel (HVOF) spraying method engaged to deposit defensive coating, particularly cermet coating, which can enhance substrates resistance to slurry erosion. In this analysis, HVOF coated conventional composite WC-10Co coatings on the steel substrate are used. The coating structures were analysed by SEM and XRD techniques. Furthermore, micro hardness, porosity and roughness were determined. Slurry erosion testing was conducted upon this coating to investigate the effects of rotating speed, impingement angle, slurry concentration, and exposure period on erosion behaviour. Empirical correlations have been developing through RSM approaches to anticipate the loss of mass in coating. Using the five levels, central composite design matrix, four variables has been employed to reduce the number of experimental runs. The relationship established may be efficiently used to assessment of the coating erosion rate with ninety five percent level of certainty. The research outcome indicates that the rotational speed is the predominant factor preceded by impinging angle, slurry composition and time.

Abstract

In this paper our main aim is establishing a fractional integration formula (of pathway type) involving the Mittag-Leffler type function with four parameters ς,ηEµ,ν [z] which was recently introduced by Garg, Sharma and Manohar [Thai J. Math. (2015)]. Some interesting special cases of the main result are also considered and shown to be connected with certain known ones.
