Blogging for the purpose of language learning is often done separately from existing blogging practices, in specialized and usually monolingual language-learning blogs. The integration of target language blogging into existing online practices needs to take into account a potential bias against multilingual online practices, as well as complications due to considerations of audience. Using the Day of Multilingual Blogging (DMB), a yearly event that encourages bloggers to use for one day a language not normally utilized for blogging, as a case study, this paper illuminates how bloggers achieve the introduction of new languages into their (often monolingual) pre-existing blogs. While DMB has no specific language learning agenda, an analysis of multilingual practices during DMB illustrates its potential for helping learners to create or extend a multilingual niche (Erard, 2012), characterized as a context, (a) where multiple languages are used, (b) where multilingual practices are socially and materially rewarded, (c) where linguistic skills at any level have value, (d) and where language users can be ‘outsiders together’, which may benefit continued language practice. Participation in DMB will not automatically lead to the creation of a multilingual niche. Nonetheless, this case study illustrates important aspects of designing activities and events that support the development of such niches. A utilização de blogues no ensino-aprendizagem de línguas é geralmente feita sem ter em conta práticas de uso de blogues já existentes, designadamente através do recurso a blogues de aprendizagem especializados e monolingues. A integração do uso de blogues na língua-alvo em práticas pré-existentes necessita de ter em conta o potencial viés em relação a práticas on-line multilingues, assim como considerações relacionadas com a audiência dos blogues. Usando o Dia do Blogue Multilíngue (DMB) – evento anual que encoraja os bloggers a usar uma língua diferente por um dia – como estudo de caso, esta contribuição ilustra as modalidades de introdução de novas línguas em blogues pré-existentes (e geralmente monolingues). Se é verdade que o DMB não tem uma agenda específica de ensino-aprendizagem, uma análise das práticas plurilíngues desse dia evidencia o seu potencial em relação à criação e aumento de “niches multilingues” (ERARD, 2012), caracterizados como contextos em que, (a) diversas línguas são usadas, (b) as práticas multilingues são socialmente e materialmente valorizadas, (c) quaisquer competências linguísticas têm valor, e (d) os utilizadores se podem considerar “outsiders together”, favorecendo a continuidade das práticas multilingues. A participação no DMB não conduz, porém, automaticamente à criação de “niches multilingues”. No entanto, este estudo de caso ilustra aspetos importantes do desenho de actividades e de eventos que podem estimular o desenvolvimento desses “niches”.

Financiadora de Estudos e Projetos In today's society, the increasing integration of Science, Technology and its products in the life of the citizen demands that he be scientifically literate, able not only to understand these issues but make conscious use of its products, taking position autonomously and critique about them. Whereas the school is still the largest area of education systematized, it is in this space that much of the population will acquire the knowledge necessary to function in the world. However, our model of teaching is still highly introductory and marked by the transmission of decontextualized knowledge and, for that, has not cooperated effectively to form the citizen that the current society needs. This form of teaching usually reaches the Degree Courses, forming a professional within a single and totalitarian conception of science, which invariably will be passed on to their students. Seeking to build with the undergraduates another way to think of science, technology and its relations with society, this research conducted an insertion activity in the discipline of Supervised Stage II, that in Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz, Ilhéus / Bahia, is exclusively devoted to spaces of Non-Formal Education, using either the assumptions of scientific literacy, STS curricular perspective and later the Freire s ideas to build another model of science education that takes into consideration the situations of exclusion and helps to fight against the inequalities of Brazilian society. The objectives of this research were to identify theoretical and methodological elements of these theoretical references in educational practices developed by undergraduates, organized in the form of extension projects; to verify possible changes in their conceptions about teaching and science in this training context and to investigate how undergraduates recognize the possibilities of incorporating these references in the context of Formal and Non-Formal Education. The interviews with undergraduates, as well as the projects developed by them reveal that there is still great resistance to a science education that considers nonscientific aspects such as socials, economics, cultural, political etc., and although some recognize that this way of teaching has space within the non-Formal Education, the image of Formal Education that they have, does not allow them to consider innovations such as a more integrated education in this space. However, many undergraduates believes the insertion of STS perspective into the classroom at all levels, and also aspire a more humanized teaching and connected to the real context within the university itself. Experiences such as these show that innovation, creativity and real life itself can be incorporated into teaching practice of these future teachers, since they are formed in this way. Na sociedade atual, a inserção cada vez maior da Ciência, da Tecnologia e seus produtos na vida do cidadão demanda que ele esteja alfabetizado cientificamente, apto não só a compreender essas temáticas, mas fazer uso consciente de seus produtos, se posicionando de forma autônoma e crítica com relação a eles. Considerando que a escola é ainda o maior espaço de educação sistematizada, é nela que grande parte da população deverá adquirir os conhecimentos necessários para atuar no mundo. No entanto, o modelo de ensino altamente propedêutico e pautado na transmissão de conhecimentos estanques e descontextualizados não tem colaborado de forma efetiva para formar o cidadão que a sociedade atual necessita. Essa forma de ensino normalmente se estende aos Cursos de Licenciatura, formando um profissional dentro de uma concepção única e totalitária de ciência, que invariavelmente será transmitida aos seus alunos. Buscando construir junto aos licenciandos outras maneiras de se conceber a ciência, a tecnologia e suas relações com a sociedade, essa pesquisa realizou uma atividade de inserção na disciplina de Estágio Curricular Supervisionado II que, na Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz, Ilhéus/Bahia, se dedica exclusivamente a espaços de Educação Não Formal, utilizando para tanto, os pressupostos da alfabetização científica, da perspectiva curricular CTS e, posteriormente, das ideias freireanas de modo construir outro modelo de ensino de ciências que levasse em consideração as situações de exclusão e auxiliasse na luta contra as desigualdades que marcam a sociedade brasileira. Assim, os objetivos dessa pesquisa foram identificar elementos teóricos e metodológicos desses referenciais nas práticas de ensino elaboradas pelos licenciandos, organizadas na forma de projetos de extensão; verificar possíveis mudanças em suas concepções com relação ao ensino e à ciência neste contexto de formação e investigar como os licenciandos reconhecem as possibilidades de incorporação desses referenciais no contexto tanto da Educação Formal quanto da Educação Não Formal. As entrevistas realizadas com os licenciandos, bem como os projetos que desenvolveram, revelam que existe ainda uma grande resistência a um ensino de ciências que considere fatores não científicos, como os sociais, econômicos, culturais, políticos etc., e ainda que alguns reconheçam que essa forma de ensinar tem espaço dentro da Educação Não Formal, a imagem de Educação Formal que possuem, não possibilita o que eles consideram inovações, como um ensino mais integrado para esses espaços. No entanto, diversos licenciandos acreditam na inserção da perspectiva CTS dentro da sala de aula em todos os níveis, e aspiram por um ensino mais humanizado e conectado ao contexto real dentro da própria universidade. Experiências como essas mostram que inovação, criatividade e a própria vida podem ser incorporadas às atividades docentes desses futuros professores, desde que eles sejam formados nesse sentido.

CAPES - Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior Essa dissertação caracteriza o relato de uma investigação realizada ao longo do estudo de mestrado cujo objetivo esteve centrado na relevância dos espaços não formaispara o enriquecimento da educação química. No processo investigativo foram utilizados questionários exploratórios e entrevistas semidirigidas com o intuito de construir um corpus de análise baseado nas argumentações de professores licenciados em química. A discussão teórica é sustentada pelos estudos de John Dewey, que valoriza a experiência prática pessoalno sentido de aproximar a educação escolar ao contexto social do aluno através de experiências educativas. O processo de análise foi orientado por Zymanskiet al. (2010), que nos levou a organização de temas apriori, conforme as questões de pesquisa e, à elaboração de categorias emergentes dos assuntos comuns diante dos relatos dos entrevistados. A análise desses relatos evidencia que os professores pesquisados valorizam a organização de atividades em espaços não formais como forma de mostrar ao aluno as diversas aplicações da química no dia-a-dia, de levar o aluno à vivência de uma experiência prática que possa promover discussões sobre questões de segurança do trabalho, visualização de processos industriais, entre outros temas, e motivá-los a buscar aprendizados que muitas vezes podem ser inibidos pela realidade escolar atual. Todavia, esses professores enfatizam que as atuais condições de trabalho nas escolas oferecem diversos entraves, que dificultam a adoção desse tipo de atividade, das quais foram mencionados, com bastante ênfase, a falta de verba nas escolas para tais visitas, o número elevado de alunos por turma e a falta de apoio de outros profissionais. Percebemos ainda, que o Centro de Ciências da Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora desempenhou papel importante para a formação inicial e continuada de duas das professoras investigadas. A maioria dos entrevistados reforçou a relevância do espaço pelas condições adequadas em permitir que experiências pudessem ser realizadas de forma segura e agradável para os visitantes. Ao final, podemos inferir que fica claro que a integração entre diversasestratégias educativas podem propiciar diferentes abordagens para que o aluno possa perceber que a linguagem química pode ser também uma forma de leitura do mundo cotidiano que nos permite reflexões sobre nosso mundo real. This dissertation characterizes the report of an investigation carried out throughout my masters whose goal was centered on the relevance of non-formal settings for the enrichment of the education in chemistry. In the investigative process surveys were used in some exploratory and semi-structured interviews in order to build a corpusof analysis based on the arguments of licensed teachers in chemistry. The theoretical discussion is supported by studies of John Dewey, who values personal practical experience in order to bring the school education into the social context of the student through educational experiences. The analysis process was guided by Zimanskiet al. (2010), which led us to organize themes, according to the research questions and the development of emerging categories of common issues before reports of respondents. The reports analysis shows that the surveyed teachers valorize the planning of activities in non-formal spaces as a way to show to the student the various applications of chemistry in usually basis to lead them to the practical experience that can promote discussions on issues of job security, visualization of industrial processes, among others, and, finally, motivate them to seek lessons that can often be inhibited by current educational reality. However, these teachers emphasize that current working conditions in schools offer many obstacles that hinder the adoption of this type of activity, which have been mentioned in the interviews in a quite emphatically way; the lack of resource funding in schools for such visits, the high number of students per class and the lack of support from other professionals could be pointed out. We noticed also that the Science Center of UFJF played an important role for the initial and continuing training of two teachers investigated. Most respondents stressed the importance of that space for suitable conditions to allow experiments that could be performed in a safe way and be enjoyable for visitors. At the end, we can infer that it is clear that the integration of different educational strategies may provide different approaches to the student to realize that the chemical language can also be a way of reading the everyday world that allows us to thinking about our real world.

Karjeros pasirinkimo ir valdymo temą nagrinėjo daug Lietuvos ir pasaulio mokslininkų, tačiau karjeros valdymo kompetencijos ugdymo prielaidos mokykliniame amžiuje nagrinėtos mažai. Pasaulis, kuriame formuojasi žmogaus profesinis kelias, nuolat keičiasi, o teorijos, idėjos ir pasirenkami būdai, kaip pasiekti sėkmingą karjerą, nuolat kinta. Todėl karjeros valdymo kompetencijų plėtojimas tampa aktualia tema. Šiandieninis darbo rinkos pasaulis ir darbo rinkos kaita bei socialiniai, technologiniai, ekonominiai ir globaliniai pokyčiai keičia karjeros sampratą ir asmens karjeros planavimą. Todėl karjeros valdymo kompetencija negali būti baigtinė (įgyta ir taikoma visą gyvenimą), ugdymo procese būtinas perėjimas į saviugdą, lemiančią karjeros valdymo kompetencijos plėtrą. Remdamiesi kompetentingų mokslininkų nuomone, vertinta Lietuvos gimnazijose sukuriamas edukacines prielaidas moksleivių karjeros pasirengimui, bei prieita išvados, jog gimnazijose egzistuoja rengimosi karjerai prielaidos, tačiau jos yra nepakankamos ir netolygios. [toliau žr. visą tekstą] The topic of career selection and management was considered by the lots of Lithuanian and the world’s scientists, however the presumptions to the education of the competences of career education in school age were less considered. The world, where the career path of a human being forms, changes continuously, and theories, ideas as well as selected methods, how to achieve a successful career, change continuously. Therefore the development of career management competences becomes a relevant topic. The modern world of a labour market and the change of the labour market as well as social, technological, economical and global changes change the concept of career and planning of a personal career. Therefore, the competence of career education shall not be limited (acquired and applicable the whole life long). In the educational process, there is necessary shift to self-education determining the development of the competence of career management. With reference to the opinion of competent scientists, we assessed the educative presumptions for the career readiness of pupils created in Lithuanian Gymnasiums; however these are insufficient and uneven. The object of the research is the education of the competence of career management in informal education. The purpose of the research is to justify theoretically and empirically the opportunities of the competence (self-) education in career management in the system of informal education involving non-governmental organisations.
