Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a unified behavioral change model which accounts 'psychological inflexibility' as a base or exacerbation of psychological distress. However, the substantive theoretical rational of ACT requires empirical investigation. Therefore, present study empirically examined the two components of psychological inflexibility, conceptualized-self and cognitive fusion, in relation with depression. Two hundred university students (men = 100, women = 100), aged between 19 to 32 years, participated in the study by completing paper and pencil survey. Study results revealed conceptualized-self (inadequate-self, hated-self and reassuring-self) as significant predictor of depression. Moreover, study results demonstrated the cognitive fusion as a mediator between critical-self (inadequate-self and hated-self) and depression while as a suppressor between reassuring-self and depression. Dendrimers recently emerged as a strong category of nanoparticles in the realm of nanomedicine due to their distinct structural properties. In order to bring the medications to mark the carrier vehicle, a specific design with the right qualities (topological invariants) might be targeted using the physical chemistry of dendrimers. Topological descriptors of chemical networks are numeric numbers that allow us to obtain information about a compound's structure and expose its underlying properties without the requirement for validation. In this work, we have computed the atom-bond connectivity index (ABC) and the atom-bond sum-connectivity index (ABS) of bismuth(III) iodide and PETAA dendrimer. Topological indices are often used to predict the physicochemical properties of molecules. The multiplicative sum Zagreb index is one of the multiplicative versions of the Zagreb indices, which belong to the class of most-examined topological indices. For a graph G with edge set E = { e 1 , e 2 , ⋯ , e m } , its multiplicative sum Zagreb index is defined as the product of the numbers D (e 1) , D (e 2) , ⋯ , D (e m) , where D (e i) is the sum of the degrees of the end vertices of e i . A chemical tree is a tree of maximum degree at most 4. In this research work, graphs possessing the maximum multiplicative sum Zagreb index are determined from the class of chemical trees with a given order and fixed number of segments. The Sombor index and reduced Sombor index, introduced by mathematical chemist Ivan Gutman [MATCH Commun. Math. Comput. Chem. 86 (2021) 11-16], are the recently proposed degree-based graph invariants that attained a lot of attention from researchers in a very short time. In this paper, the best possible upper bounds on the both aforementioned indices for molecular trees are obtained in terms of order and number of branching vertices or vertices of degree 2. The modified first Zagreb connection index ZC 1 ∗ is a graph invariant that appeared about fifty years ago within a study of molecular modeling, and after a long time, it has been revisited in two papers ((Ali and Trinajstić, 2018) and (Naji et al., 2017)) independently. For a graph G , this graph invariant is defined as ZC 1 ∗ G = ∑ v ∈ V G d v τ v , where d v is the degree of the vertex v and τ v is the connection number of v (that is, the number of vertices having distance 2 from v). In this paper, the graphs with maximum/minimum ZC 1 ∗ value are characterized from the class of all n -vertex trees with fixed number of pendent vertices (that are the vertices of degree 1).
