There is a growing focus on sustainability across all domains of businesses. However, there is limited evidence on the relationships between organisational efficacy and corporate sustainability. A central question for researchers and practitioners is whether organisational efficacy can build corporate sustainability in construction industry. To address this question, the present study seeks to empirically explore the relationship between organisational efficacy and corporate sustainability. By drawing upon recent thinking in the strategy and sustainability management literature, this paper argues on the impact of organisational efficacy on corporate sustainability. Using survey data from 62 housing development organizations, respondents included executives in charge of sustainability management, such as owners or sustainability development managers. Questionnaires (and an accompanying letter with survey details and contact information on the researchers) were sent through email by linking an online survey to the targeted respondents, and by applying structural equation modelling (SEM). Outcomes suggest that organisational efficacy enhances corporate sustainability. Respondents responded to 64 items that were adapted and adopted from previous researchers listed in the questionnaire. The study proposes that a corporate sustainability framework, which were developed and tested, are valid and reliable. The findings show that organisational efficacy and corporate sustainability are positively significant and all variables are formative constructs. The corporate sustainability framework may be used by organisations to assess and monitor the practices. A principal contribution of this study is empirically developed and has tested the corporate sustainability framework based on the elements of triple bottom line approach. As it stands, the investigation provides a foundation for further research, offering opportunities for updates, amendments and refinements.

Corporate Sustainability (CS) involves an organisation to obey the principles of sustainable development that evolved from the corporate management paradigm, which is used deliberately as an alternative to the traditional growth and profit-maximization model. The construction industry has an important role in the economy of the country. This paper aims to investigate the relationships between MCS and CS in the construction industry. The study focused on the central and southern region of Peninsular Malaysia which comprises 726 companies listed in Real Estate Housing Development Association (REHDA) and 77 companies listed on Bursa Malaysia. Management Control System (MCS) is defined as the process by which managers assure that resources are obtained and used effectively and efficiently in the accomplishment of the organisation’s objectives and organisation success. In this study, simple random sampling was used in the data collection. The sample size was determined by using G-power software and the respondents of the study are 84 in total. Structural Equation Model of Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) software in SmartPLS 3.2.9 was used to examine the relationship between CS and MCS. The adapted questionnaire was based on two established questionnaire. The results of the study suggest that MCS has a positive impact on CS of the construction industry. The result is consistent with previous studies looking at the relationship between MCS and CS. In conclusion, from the result of this study, the housing development contractors are highly encouraged to implement MCS in increasing their CS because organization with high level of control systems have a higher level of sustainability in the industry. As this is considered to be a pioneer study, the finding of this study has laid a foundation for future directions and exploration in the context of MCS and CS of organisations.

University student’s satisfaction is very important to institutional success in this effective establishments have satisfied ‘customers’ as a result of this satisfaction supports the incoming of further students or customers. Ratings of student satisfaction are getting clearer. Higher learning institution are dealing with young adults. This gives some changes toward the higher learning environment and this is important to ensure the survivability of the college. Due to the changes in higher learning industry satisfaction factors' that used to satisfy students are no longer the same especially in this post pandemic of covid-19. In order for this college to sustain and maintain successful, the college really need to look into the new factors. To address this issue, the present study seeks to explore the relationship between students’ satisfaction and service quality of higher education institution services.

Management control system is putatively vital for management to resemble organisational performance.The objective of the study is to understand the role of management control system in organisational efficacy. Management control system has obtained growing attention within both academia and industry as part of OE. As works of literature grow, finding new directions by critically evaluating the research and identifying future trends has become central in advancing knowledge for the field. This paper will review some of the work done in this area of study. Applying management control system as a theoretical lens, we develop a research plan from current OE and management control system literature by offering propositions for future research where management control system may permeate contemporary OE topics. In doing so, we provide an initial foundation for organisational efficacy scholars to both incorporate the role of management control system effects into research and launch new research stream.
