1. EFECTO ANTIOBESOGÉNICO ASOCIADO AL CONSUMO DE LECHES FERMENTADAS CON BACTERIAS ÁCIDO LÁCTICAS POTENCIALMENTE PROBIÓTICAS

"La obesidad es una enfermedad crónica que va en aumento a nivel mundial por lo que se ha convertido en un problema de salud pública. Por ello, se busca incluir en la dieta alimentos que además de nutrir, tengan un efecto antiobesogénico. Estudios han reportado el efecto antiobesogénico asociado a la ingesta de leche fermentada con bacterias ácido lácticas probióticas específicas, sin embargo, dicho efecto es cepa dependiente. Por lo anterior, el objetivo de este trabajo fue evaluar el efecto antiobesogénico asociado a la ingesta de leches fermentadas con cepas específicas potencialmente probióticas de Lactobacillus en un modelo murino con obesidad inducida. Ratas Sprague Dawley de cuatro a seis semanas de edad, fueron divididas en seis grupos (n=7). Cinco de ellos fueron suministrados aleatoriamente con alguna de las leches fermentadas por cepas de Lactobacillus (2, 4, 6, 7 o 17), mientras que el grupo control fue suministrado con leche sin fermentar. Los seis grupos recibieron una dieta hiperlipídica para inducción de obesidad. La ganancia de peso corporal fue evaluada semanalmente durante 12 semanas y la ganancia de masa grasa fue evaluada en la onceava semana. Al finalizar el período de estudio, las ratas fueron sacrificadas y se recolectó sangre para su análisis bioquímico. Los resultados mostraron que los grupos tratados con la leche fermentada por las cepas 4, 6 o 17, presentaron una ganancia en peso significativamente (p < 0.05) menor que el grupo control. Por otro lado, los grupos tratados con leche fermentada por las cepas 2, 4, 6 o 17, presentaron una menor ganancia de masa grasa en comparación al grupo control (p < 0.05).
