We study a non-universal $U(1)_{X}$ extension of the Standard Model with an extended scalar sector of two doublets and one singlet plus three additional exotic quarks and two exotic charged leptons on the fermionic sector. In order to obtain the observed fermion mass hierarchy, an additional $\mathbb{Z}_{2}$ discrete symmetry is imposed, where the heaviest fermions acquire their masses from three different scales determined by two Higgs doublets and one singlet, whereas the lightest fermions obtain their masses from effective operators up to dimension seven. From chiral anomalies cancellation, the model also includes heavy right-handed neutrinos which get massive via an inverse see-saw mechanism, reproducing the observed mass differences for the active neutrinos. We analyze phenomenological consequences of the model in view of the so-called flavour anomalies, namely the latest measurement made by Fermilab of the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon $g-2$, and additionally, the fit to semi-leptonic $B$ meson decays made by different flavour groups, dominated mainly by the LHCb 2020 data. We obtain that the model can explain the former at the $1\sigma$ level by means of contributions coming from charged $W^{+}$ bosons interacting with exotic Majorana neutrinos at one-loop level, with the $Z'$ boson contribution itself coming from the $U(1)_X$ symmetry being negligible. However, we find that the model is able to accommodate the $b\to s\ell^{+}\ell^{-}$ transitions associated to the $B$ meson anomalies only at the $2\sigma$ level via tree-level $Z'$ boson exchange, while simultaneously respecting various constraints from the recent $R_{K^{(*)}}$ measurements made by the LHCb, neutrino trident production and $B-\bar B$ oscillations., Comment: 28 pages, 13 figures, 5 tables. In order to understand some frameworks for CP Violation scenarios in the scalar sector, a 331 model was considered which its main property is the incorporation of a local group symmetry SU(3) in the electroweak sector. In particular, a 331 model with a particular choice of free parameter. CP Violation scenarios were obtained by introducing a discrete symmetry in the scalar triplets, which exhibit a spontaneous CP Violation frame with just one independent CP phase associated. Mass state rotations were obtained.

In the extension of the standard model with one right-handed neutrino and one Higgs triplet, we propose a suppression mechanism, obtaining small masses for the active neutrinos, while mixing angles are predicted with a right-handed neutrino at the TeV scale and Yukawa couplings at the order of $\mathcal{O}(1)$. In this extension, the seesaw formula is proportional to the difference between two Yukawa couplings: the one that governs the interactions of the ordinary matter through the Higgs triplet, and the coupling of the new neutrino through the scalar doublet, so that by aligning both Yukawa couplings, exact zero-mass active neutrinos are obtained. By perturbating this alignment condition, we obtain neutrino masses proportional to the magnitude and direction of the perturbation in the flavour space. We propose an extension of the standard model with an extra U(1)' abelian symmetry, three Higgs doublets and one Higgs singlet, where the new U(1)' charges are flavour non-universal. As a result, the model introduces an enlarger particle spectrum in the TeV scale with large new physics possibilities. The model reproduces the mixing angles and mass structures of the quarks, charged and neutral leptons. We found that the observed anomaly of the $B^{+}\rightarrow K^+ \ell \ell$ decay can be explained due to the existence of couplings with new extra fermions at the TeV scale., Comment: 10 captioned figures

We propose a new anomaly-free and family nonuniversal $\mathrm{U}(1)'$ extension of the standard model with the addition of two scalar singlets and a new scalar doublet. The quark sector is extended by adding three exotic quark singlets, while the lepton sector includes two exotic charged lepton singlets, three right-handed neutrinos and three sterile Majorana leptons to obtain the fermionic mass spectrum of the standard model. The lepton sector also reproduces the elements of the PMNS matrix and the squared-mass differences data from neutrino oscillation experiments. Also, analytical relations of the PMNS matrix are derived via the inverse see-saw mechanism, and numerical predictions of the parameters in both normal and inverse order scheme for the mass of the phenomenological neutrinos are obtained. We analyze the recent diphoton signal reported by ATLAS and CMS collaborations in the context of the $SU(3)_{C}\otimes SU(3)_{L}\otimes U(1)_{X}$ anomaly free models, with a 750 GeV scalar candidate which can decay into two photons. We propose a new $SU(6)\otimes U(1)_{X}$ GUT model free from anomalies, with a 750 GeV scalar candidate which can decay into two photons, compatible with the recent diphoton signal reported by ATLAS and CMS collaborations. This model gives masses to all fermions and may explain the 750GeV signal through one loop decays to $\gamma\gamma$ with charged vector and charged Higgs bosons, as well as up- and electron-like exotic particles that arise naturally from the condition of cancellation of anomalies of the $SU(6)\otimes U(1)_{X}$ group. In the context of a nonuniversal and anomaly free $U(1)_{X}$ extension of the standard model, we examine the decay of a $750$GeV scalar singlet state, $\xi_{\chi}$, as a possible explanation of the observed diphoton excess announced by the ATLAS and CMS collaborations at CERN-LHC collider. One-loop decay to photons is allowed through three heavy singlet quarks and one charged Higgs boson into the loop. We obtain, for different width approximations and for masses of the exotic singlet quarks in the region $[900,\,3000]$ GeV, a production cross section $\sigma(pp\to\xi_{\chi}\to\gamma\gamma)$ compatible with ATLAS and CMS collaborations data. We explore mechanisms of interferences under which the spin-independent interaction in the scattering of scalar dark matter with nucleus is suppressed. We offer a detailed derivation of the nuclear amplitudes based on the interactions with quarks in the framework of a nonuniversal $U(1)'$ extension of the standard model. By assuming a range of parameters compatible with collider searches, electroweak observables and dark matter abundance, we find scenarios for destructive interferences with and without isospin symmetry. The model reveals solutions with mutually interfering scalar particles, canceling the effective spin-independent coupling with only scalar interactions, which requires an extra Higgs boson with mass $M_{H}>125$ GeV. The model also possesses scenarios with only vector interactions through two neutral gauge bosons, $Z$ and $Z'$. Due to the nonuniversality of the $U(1)'$ symmetry, we distinguish two family structures of the quark sector with different numerical predictions. In one case, we obtain cross sections that pass all the Xenon-based detector experiments. In the other case, limits from LUX experiment enclose an exclusion region for dark matter between $9$ and $800$ GeV. We examine a third scenario with isospin-violating couplings where interferences between scalar and vector boson exchanges cancel the scattering. We provide solutions where interactions with Xenon-based detectors is suppressed for light dark matter, below $6$ GeV, while interactions with Germanium- and Silicon-based detectors exhibit solutions up to the regions of interest for positive signals reported by CoGeNT and CDMS-Si experiments, and compatible with the observed DM relic density for DM mass in the range $8.3-10$ GeV. In the context of an nonuniversal $U(1)'$ extension of the standard model free from anomalies, we introduce a complex scalar singlet candidate to be dark matter. In addition, an extra scalar doublet and a heavy scalar singlet are required to provide masses to all fermions and to break spontaneously the symmetries. From unitarity and stability of the Higgs potential, we find the full set of bounds and order relations for the scalar coupling constants. Using recent data from the CERN-LHC collider, we study the signal strenght of the diphoton Higgs decay $R_{\gamma \gamma}$, which imposes very stringent bounds to the scalar couplings and other scalar parameters. We obtain constraints in different scenarios of the space of parameters, where decays into dark matter may or may not contribute according to the mass of the scalar dark matter candidate. By assuming that the lightest scalar boson of the model corresponds to the observed Higgs boson, we evaluate deviations from the SM of the trilineal Higgs self-coupling. The conditions from unitarity, stability and Higgs diphoton decay data allow trilineal deviations in the range $0 \leq \delta g \lesssim -72\%$., Comment: Additional figures and analysis in new version

In the framework of an nonuniversal $U(1)'$ extension of the standard model, we propose an scalar candidate for cold dark matter which exhibits interactions with ordinary matter through Higgs and gauge bosons. Using limits from low energy observables, we find constraints on the new physics parameters of the model associated to the extra abelian symmetry, in particular, the mass of the additional neutral gauge boson $Z'$ and the new gauge coupling constant. We found that for the lower experimental limit $M_{Z'}=3$ TeV constrained by direct research at LHC, the ratio between the $U(1)'$ and $SU(2)_L$ gauge coupling constants is around $0.4$. Taking into account this limit and the observable relic density of the Universe, we search for new constraints on the mass of the dark matter particle of the model. We found that for a higgsphobic model, the mass of the scalar dark matter must be $M_{\sigma}=70$ GeV. We also found different kinematical threshold and resonances that enhance the dispersion of dark matter into ordinary matter for different regions of the space of parameters of the model, obtaining masses as low as $1.3$ GeV and as large as $125$ GeV with not allowed intermediate regions due to resonances., Comment: 28 pages, 6 figures

In the framework of general 3-3-1 models, we perform a global $\chi ^2$ fit at $95\%$ C.L. to the updated Z pole observables, including new data from atomic parity violation. We found scenarios where specific realizations of 3-3-1 models are largely excluded above the current limit on the extra neutral gauge boson ($Z'$) research at LHC. We derive a relation between the $Z-Z'$ mixing angle and the parameter $\tan(\beta)$ of the effective Two-Higgs-Doublet Model contained into the 3-3-1 spectrum. We show that particular versions of 3-3-1 models containing particles with exotic electric charges are disfavored by the electroweak precision observables in an ample region of the parameter space., Comment: 3 figures, 4 tables. We propose a 3-3-1 model where the $SU(3)_{C}\otimes SU(3)_{L}\otimes U(1)_{X}$ symmetry is extended by $S_{3}\otimes Z_{3}\otimes Z_{3}^{\prime }\otimes Z_{8}\otimes Z_{16}$ and the scalar spectrum is enlarged by extra $% SU(3)_{L}$ singlet scalar fields. The model successfully describes the observed SM fermion mass and mixing pattern. In this framework, the light active neutrino masses arise via an inverse seesaw mechanism and the observed charged fermion mass and quark mixing hierarchy is a consequence of the $Z_{3}\otimes Z_{3}^{\prime }\otimes Z_{8}\otimes Z_{16}$ symmetry breaking at very high energy. The obtained physical observables for both quark and lepton sectors are compatible with their experimental values. The model predicts the effective Majorana neutrino mass parameter of neutrinoless double beta decay to be $m_{\beta \beta }=$ 4 and 48 meV for the normal and the inverted neutrino spectra, respectively. Furthermore, we found a leptonic Dirac CP violating phase close to $\frac{\pi }{2}$ and a Jarlskog invariant close to about $3\times 10^{-2}$ for both normal and inverted neutrino mass hierarchy., Comment: 26 pages. We propose a new non-universal $U(1)'$ extension of the standard model with the addition of three exotic quark singlets, two scalar singlets and one additional scalar doublet. We obtain family dependent couplings with a new $Z'$ boson in the quark sector and universal couplings with the lepton sector. From experimental data on $Z'$ research at CERN-LHC collider, we find limit regions in the $U(1)'$ free parameters ($Z'$ mass and coupling constant), which we use to obtain total decay width and invariant-mass distributions. We take up again the study of the mass spectrum of the quark sector in a model with gauge symmetry $SU(3)_{c}\otimes SU(3)_{L}\otimes U(1)_{X}$ (331). In a special type II-like 331 model, we obtain specific zero-texture mass matrices for the quarks which predict four massless quarks ($u,c,d,s$) and two massive quarks ($b,t$) at the electroweak scale ($\sim $ GeV). By considering the mixing between the SM quarks and new exotic quarks at large scales predicted by the model, we find that a third quark (associated to the charm quark) acquires a mass. The remaining light quarks ($u,d,s$) get small masses ($\sim$ MeV) via radiative corrections.

We undertake the study of the charged Higgs bosons predicted by the model with gauge symmetry $SU(3)_c \otimes SU(3)_L \otimes U(1)_X$. By considering Yukawa mixing couplings between small ($\sim$ GeV) and large ($\sim$ TeV) scales, we show that the hypercharge-one $H_1^{\pm}$ and hypercharge-two $H_2^{\pm}$ Higgs bosons predicted by the model, can be simultaneously produced in $pp$ collisions at different production rates. At low energy, the $H_1^{\pm}$ bosons exhibit the same properties as the charged Higgs bosons from a two Higgs doublet model (2HDM), while $H_2^{\pm}$ are additional like-charged Higgs bosons from the underlying 3-3-1 model. Thus, the identification of multiple like-charged Higgs boson resonances may test the compatibility of theoretical models with experimental data. We study $H_{1,2}^{\pm}$ pair and associated $tbH_{1,2}^{\pm}$ productions at CERN LHC collider. In particular, we obtain that pair production can be as large as the single production in gluon-gluon collisions due to the interchange of a heavy neutral $Z'$ gauge boson predicted by the model. By considering decays to leptons $H_{1,2}^{\pm} \rightarrow \tau \nu_{\tau}$, we obtain scenarios where small peaks of $H_{2}^{\pm}$-boson events in transverse mass distributions can be identified over the $H_{1}^{\pm}$ background., Comment: 10 figures, 2 tables

We study the mass spectrum of the quark sector in an special type I-like model with gauge symmetry $SU(3)_c \otimes SU(3)_L \otimes U(1)_X$. By considering couplings with scalar triplets at large ($\sim TeV$) and small ($\sim GeV$) scales, we obtain specific zero-texture mass matrices for the quarks which predict three massless quarks ($u,d,s$) and three massive quarks ($c,b,t$) at the electroweak scale ($\sim$ GeV). Taking into account mixing couplings with three heavy quarks at large scales predicted by the model, the three massless quarks obtain masses at small order that depends on the inverse of the large scale. Thus, masses of the form $m_u \lesssim m_d < m_s \sim MeV$ and $ m_{c,b,t} \sim GeV$ can be obtained naturally from the gauge structure of the model.

We discuss a 331 model with three scalar triplets and neutral fermion singlets. We show that in the 331 model with right-handed neutrinos, it is possible to obtain small active neutrino masses via the double and inverse seesaw mechanisms, without the use of scalar sextets or triplets with doubly-charged Higgs. Two types of models are discussed. If we have a large Majorana mass matrix for the singlets, the spectrum of neutrinos presents light, heavy and very heavy masses. The other possibility is a small (zero) Majorana mass matrix, which leads to pseudo-Dirac (Dirac) heavy neutrinos in the TeV scale, in addition to the active light neutrinos

We construct a 3-3-1 model for three families that can be embedded into a single SU(8) unified model. Assuming appropriate branching rules and symmetry-breaking pattern, we find a complete fermion content within irreducible representations of SU(8), where light standard model fermions, heavy 3-3-1 fermions and super-heavy fermions may be distinguished. In the framework of the doubly lopsided mechanism, we obtain mass matrix structures which exhibit nontrivial flavor hierarchical features. Among the up-type quarks, one (top quark) has tree-level mass and two (charm and up) get masses at one-loop level. Considering only dominant contributions, we may obtain the ratios $|m_c/m_t| \approx 7.4 \times 10^{-3}$ and $|m_u/m_c| \approx 1.9 \times 10^{-3}$ with few assumptions on the free parameters and without any hierarchical requirements on the Yukawa couplings.

One-loop corrections to the $Z^{\prime}$ decay width are derived and analyzed in the framework of the general form of the 3-3-1 models. We identify two important sources of corrections: oblique corrections asociated to the $Z^{\prime}$ propagator through vacum polarizations induced by virtual particle-antiparticle pairs of new heavy quarks $J$, and vertex corrections to the $Z^{\prime}q\bar{q}$ vertex through virtual exchange of new $K^{Q_{1,2}}$ gauge bosons. Fixing an specific renormalization scheme, we obtain dominant oblique corrections that exhibit a quadratic dependence on the $J$ quark mass, which are absorbed into two oblique parameters: a global parameter $\rho ^{\prime}_f$ which modify the $Z^{\prime}$ decay width, and a parameter $\kappa ^{\prime}_{f}$ that define effective $Z^{\prime}$ couplings. Numerical results in an specific 3-3-1 model gives a strong contribution of the oblique corrections from about 1.3% in the $d(s)$ quark channel to 10.5% in the neutrino channel, for $m_{J}=2$ TeV. The vertex corrections contribute to the oblique corrections up to 1.4% for the same channel and $m_{J}$ value. For $pp$ collisions at the CERN LHC collider, we find that the corrections significantly modify the shape of the cross section distributions for $e^{+}e^{-}$ and $t\bar{t}$ final states, where the distributions including the radiative corrections increases up to 1.23 times the tree-level distribution for the dielectron events and to 1.07 for the top events when $m_{J}=3$ TeV.

We undertake a phenomenological study of the extra neutral Z' boson in the Minimal Quiver Standard Model and discuss limits on the model's parameters from previous precision electroweak experiments, as well as detection prospects at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. We find that masses lower than around 700 GeV are excluded by the $Z$-pole data from the CERN-LEP collider, and below 620 GeV by experimental data from di-electron events at the Fermilab-Tevatron collider. We also find that at a mass of 1 TeV the LHC cross section would show a small peak in the di-lepton and top pair channel., Comment: 15 pages, 5 figures. v2: substantial revisions and improvements, final version accepted for publication

Comparing the theoretically predicted and measured values of the mass difference of the $B^{0}_{s}$ system, we estimate the lower bound on the mass of the $Z^{\prime}$ boson of models based on the $SU(3)_{c} \otimes SU(3)_{L} \otimes U(1)_X$ gauge group. By assuming zero-texture approaches of the quark mass matrices, we find the ratio of the measured value to the theoretical prediction from the Standard Model and the $Z^{\prime}$ contribution from the 331 models of the mass difference of the $B^{0}_{s}$ system. We find lower bounds on the $Z^{\prime}$ mass ranging between 1 TeV and 30 TeV for the two most popular 331 models, and four different zero-textures ans\"atze. We analyse the possibilities to detect a new $Z^{\prime}$ boson in di-electron events at Tevatron and LHC in the framework of the 331 model with right-handed neutrinos. Using $p\bar{p}$ collision data collected by the CDF II detector at Fermilab Tevatron, we find that the 331 $Z^{\prime}$ boson is excluded with masses below 920 GeV. For an integrated luminosity of $100 fb^{-1}$ at LHC, and considering a central value $M_{Z^{\prime}}=1500$ GeV, we obtain the invariant mass distribution in the process $pp\to Z^{\prime}\to e^{+}e^{-}$, where a huge peak, corresponding to 800 signal events, is found above the SM background. The number of di-electron events vary from 10000 to 1 in the mass range of $M_{Z^{\prime}}=1000-5000$ GeV.

We calculate the decay widths and branching ratios of the extra neutral boson $Z^{\prime}$ predicted by the 331 bilepton model in the framework of two different particle contents. These calculations are performed taken into account oblique radiative corrections, and Flavor Changing Neutral Currents (FCNC) under the ansatz of Matsuda as a texture for the quark mass matrices. Contributions of the order of $10^{-1}-10^{-2}$ are obtained in the branching ratios, and partial widths about one order of magnitude bigger in relation with other non- and bilepton models are also obtained. A Landau-like pole arise at 3.5 TeV considering the full particle content of the minimal model (MM), where the exotic sector is considered as a degenerated spectrum at 3 TeV scale. The Landau pole problem can be avoid at the TeV scales if a new leptonic content running below the threshold at $% 3 $ TeV is implemented as suggested by other authors., Comment: 20 pages, 5 figures, LaTeX2e

In the context of the 331 models, we consider constraints on the extra neutral boson $Z^{\prime}$ predicted by the model, where three different quark family assignments are identified. Using the ansatz of Matsuda as an specific texture for the quark mass matrices, we obtain allowed regions associated with the Z-Z' mixing angle, the mass of the $Z^{\prime}$ boson and the parameter $\beta$ which determines different 331 models. The $Z_{1}$ and $Z_{2}$ decays with and without flavor changing are also considered. The flavor changing decays of the $Z_{1}$ boson into quarks at tree level are highly suppressed by the $Z-Z^{\prime}$ mixing angle, obtaining the same order of magnitude as the standard model prediction at one loop level. The $% Z_{2}$ decay widths are calculated with and without flavor changing, where oblique radiative corrections at one loop accounts for about $1%-4%$ deviations., Comment: 33 pages, 6 figures, LaTeX2e

A general study of the fermionic structure of the 331 models with \beta arbitrary shows the possibility of obtaining 331 vector-like models with mirror fermions. On one hand, the existence of mirror fermions gives a possible way to fit the discrepancy in the bottom quark asymmetries from the prediction of the standard model. On the other hand, the vector-like nature of the model permits to address the problem of the fermion mass hierarchy, and in particular the problem of the neutrino mass and mixing pattern. Specifically, we consider a model with four families and \beta =-1/\sqrt{3} where the additional family corresponds to a mirror fermion of the third generation of the Standard Model. We also show how to generate ansatzs about the mass matrices of the fermions according to the phenomenology. In particular, it is possible to get a natural fit for the neutrino hierarchical masses and mixing angles. Moreover, by means of the mixing between the third quark family and its mirror fermion, a possible solution for the A_{FB}^{b} discrepancy is obtained., Comment: 12 pages, 6 tables, LaTeX2e

A detailed and general study of the fermionic structure of the 331 models with \beta arbitrary is carried out based on the criterion of cancellation of anomalies. We consider models with an arbitrary number of lepton and quark generations, but requiring to associate only one lepton and one quark SU(3) _{L} multiplet for each generation, and at most one right-handed singlet per each left-handed fermion. We see that the number of quark left-handed multiplets must be three times the number of leptonic left-handed multiplets. Furthermore, we consider a model with four families and \beta =-1/\sqrt{3} where the additional family corresponds to a mirror fermion of the third generation of the Standard Model. We also show how to generate ansatzs about the mass matrices of the fermions according to the phenomenology. In particular, it is possible to get a natural fit for the neutrino hierarchical masses and mixing angles. A complete study of the Higgs sector of the $SU(3)_{c}\otimes SU(3)_{L}\otimes U(1)_{X}$ model is carried out, obtaining all possible cases of vacuum expectation values that permit the spontaneous symmetry breaking pattern$ SU(3)_{L}\otimes U(1)_{X}\to SU(2)_{L}\otimes U(1)_{Y}\to U(1)_{Q}.$ We find the most general Higgs potentials that contain three triplets of Higgs and one sextet. A detailed study of the scalar sector for different models with three Higgs triplets is done. The models end up in an electroweak two Higgs doublet model after the first symmetry breakdown; we find that the low energy limit depends on a trilinear parameter of the Higgs potential, and that the decoupling limit from the electroweak two Higgs doublet model to the minimal standard model can be obtained quite naturally., Comment: 41 pages, no figures, two subsections added.
