1. Prograde and retrograde stars in nuclear cluster mergers. Evolution of the supermassive black hole binary and the host galactic nucleus

Abstract

We address the orbital distribution of stars in merging nuclear star clusters (NSCs) and the subsequent effects on supermassive black hole binary (SMBHB) evolution. We ran direct-summation $N$-body simulations with different initial conditions to do a detailed study of the resulting NSC after their progenitors had merged. Our findings reveal that prograde stars form a flattened structure, while retrograde stars have a more spherical distribution. The axial ratios of the prograde component vary based on the presence and mass ratio of the SMBHs. The fraction of prograde and retrograde stars depends on the merger orbital properties and the SMBH mass ratio. The interactions of retrograde stars with the SMBHB affect the eccentricity and separation evolution of the binary. Our analysis reveals a strong correlation between the angular momentum and eccentricity of the SMBH binary. This relationship could serve as a means to infer information about the stellar dynamics surrounding the binary. We find that prograde orbits are particularly close to the binary of SMBHs, a promising fact regarding extreme mass ratio inspiral (EMRI) production. Moreover, prograde and retrograde stars have different kinematic structures, with the prograde stars typically rotating faster than the retrograde ones. The line-of-sight velocity and velocity dispersion, as well as the velocity anisotropy of each NSC, depend on the initial merger orbital properties and SMBH mass ratios. The prograde and retrograde stars always show different behaviours. The distribution of stellar orbits and the dynamical properties of each kinematic population can potentially be used as a way to tell the properties of the parent nuclei apart, and has an important impact on expected rates of EMRIs, which will be detected by future gravitational wave observatories such as the Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA). 2. Examining the Relationships between Teachers' Job Satisfaction and Technological Competencies

Abstract

This study aims to examine teachers' perceptions of technological efficacy and job satisfaction and the relationships between them from a holistic perspective according to teachers' views. Within the scope of the research, a study was conducted on 293 teachers selected from the central districts of Kyzylorda, Kazakhstan, by the convenience sampling method. "Technology Self-Efficacy" and "Minnesota Job Satisfaction" scales developed by Wang, Ertmer and Newby (1999) were used to measure teachers' self-efficacy perceptions towards technology. The study showed that teachers' internal job satisfaction was high, external job satisfaction, general job satisfaction, and technological competence perceptions were moderate. Teachers' job satisfaction varies according to gender and professional seniority. The internal job satisfaction of female teachers was found to be high; however, it was concluded that as professional seniority increased, external job satisfaction increased. In the study, it was concluded that teachers' perceptions of technological efficacy decrease with increasing seniority. In addition, male teachers' perceptions of technological efficacy were higher than their female colleagues. Finally, the study found significant relationships between teachers' technological competencies and job satisfaction.

4. Formation of School Student's Vocabulary Skills through Innovative Technologies

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the attitudes of elementary school 4th graders regarding electronic books developed through innovative technologies in the development of vocabulary. Qualitative research methods were used in accordance with the purpose of the research. The data of the research were collected by the semi-structured interview form developed by the researcher. The study involved 20 elementary school 4th graders studying in Almaty, Kazakhstan in the 2019-2020 academic year. As a result of the research, it was concluded that students have a moderate tendency to read electronic books and have a tendency to prefer electronic books as much as printed books. In addition, students found electronic books to be easily accessible, easy to learn and advantageous with their ability to be easy to learn, while they found themselves disadvantaged in terms of easy concentration, eye strain and technology addiction. Based on the results of the research, it is recommended to improve electronic books through innovative technologies and to carry out studies on increasing the use of electronic books by students.

Abstract

The existing system for organizing and processing local car flows in railway junctions does not implement the concept of an integrated, or rather a systematic approach to organizing and ensuring the interaction of elements and subsystems of a railway junction, as a complex integral system, to the necessary extent. As a result, local, at first glance, optimal measures to further improve the operation of the node do not give the expected effect. The organization of local car flows, the distribution of work and technical resources between the stations of the hub to ensure the formation of multi–group trains, the provision of technological interaction between the technical and freight stations of the hub, as a rule, have shortcomings in the feasibility study.

Abstract

Currently, to replenish mineral resources of Kazakhstan, the discovery of mineral deposits in areas covered by Cenozoic deposits is important. They are located quite deep. The forecast of such minerals requires the creation of a reliable scientific base and the use of innovative cosmogeological research methods. The geotectonic structure and geodynamics of the Paleozoic and Proterozoic basement of the territory of Kazakhstan is now successfully explained from the position of the conventional plume tectonics. In accordance with it and the latest actual data of field geological studies, geosuture zones of ring morphology are distinguished. These zones were active during the Paleozoic and characterized by peculiar tectonic-magmatic features that are important for the localization of mineralization. Remote sensing data was used to isolate prospective areas for mineral resources in such zones. According to the interpretation of space images, linear, ring and areal ore-controlling factors have been identified, which are shown in cosmic- structural geological schemes. For the favorable combination of orecontrolling factors and on the basis of the analysis of geological data, for successful exploration and evaluation work, prognostic areas have been allocated. The practical implementation of the innovative technologies for the forecast of minerals developed by us was carried out on a new area of Eastern Balkhash. This area is located within the second ring geosuture zone of the plume-tectonic geodynamic zoning of the Paleozoids of Kazakhstan. 25. MICROMINERALOGY OF GOLD-BEARING ORES OF METASOMATIC TYPE DEPOSIT IN KAZAKHSTAN.

Abstract

Samples of ore for micromineralogical research were selected from the core of boreholes. The mineral composition of the ores, their textural and structural features were examined under an optical microscope in reflected and transmitted light, scanning electronic microscope (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer (EDS) with microanalyzer. Mineralization by its composition is sulfide. The nature of mineralization is imbedded. Phenocrysts are presented by separate idiomorphic grains of pyrite, aggregate intergrowths of several of its grains. Phenocrysts are formed by separate pentagondodehaedrs of pyrite, intergrowths of its grains and rare chains of grains up to 30.0 mm in length. Besides, in the ore sample there is linneit, millerit, idait and sulfosalts in unessential quantities. Minerals of silver are found as dyscrasite up to 0.08 mm and as polibazit up to 0.03 mm in size. Native gold in the sample was observed in the secretions of foliose-scaly form. The size of scales is approximately 0.01 mm. Telluride gold is presented by highly reflective double telluride differences of massive structure - krennerite, calaverite and petzite. Gold form independent isolations, aggregates with each other and intergrowths of gold tellurides with tetradymite. There are sulfides among which pyrite sharply predominates, in a smaller amount inclusions of galena and sphalerite. Along the edges of sphalerite selections pyritechalcopyrite aggregates are observed. Gold is met in the form of fine secretions intergrown with chalcopyrite and in quartz. Chalcosite and covelline form rare, irregular shaped allocations in thin quartz veins. The size of sulfide allocations is from 0.01 to 0.03 mm. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

Kokkiya deposit and a series of small ore occurrences located on the northern slopes of the Kyrgyz mountain range are among the perspective deposits of gold-metasomatic type for Kazakhstan, but poorly investigated. Ore bodies of the deposit are the sericitic quartzites with disseminations and pockety segregations only pyrite (up to 10-15%), their boundaries are established by the results of analyzes. The main ore mineral is pyrite mainly pentagondodecahedral shape, represented in the form of scattered disseminations in metasomatites. Other minerals - chalcopyrite, galena, sphalerite, fahlerz, pyrrhotite, magnetite, hematite, covellite and minerals of tellurium and bismuth are rare. Native gold is in grains of the pentagondodecahedral pyrite in the form of micron dimensionalities; in free form in sericite, less in quartz (hundredths of a micron); in the composition of silver and gold tellurides. Gold has a pinkish yellow color, the composition of high karat gold. Tellurides and bismuth minerals are closely associated with pyrite. They are intergrowths with pyrite or enclosed therein and serve as a positive indicator for gold. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
