The article is devoted to the activities of the Russian Public Movement, the analysis of the provisions of its Program and the identification of a place in the political spectrum of both the West Siberian region and the Russian Federation as a whole. The analysis of the transformation program is carried out with full consideration of the political activities of the Russian Public Movement and related organizations, as well as their structural units in the election campaigns of the mid-1990s. Referring to various sources of information, such as archive collections, the public press, reference publications, scientific articles and analytical materials, the author of the work aims to analyze the programmatic provisions of the Russian Public Movement, restoring a complex picture of its participation in the political events of the second half of the 1990s, to identify its place in the changing picture of the political forces of the Russian Federation. The analysis allows us to conclude that the Russian Public Movement was the result of the dispersion of the electorate of the Congress of Russian Communities, between many insignificant parties and movements that were artificially brought to participate in the elections. The further activity of the movement was associated with the presidential elections of the Russian Federation in 1996. The political fate of the movement reflected the evolution of the views of the ruling elite on the formation of their political image against the background of the rejection of the liberal doctrine by the population.

In the framework of the presented article, the author analyzes the process of management transformation in the Omsk region in the 1990s as the formation of federalism in the Russian Federation. Later, the author of the article plans to carry out similar work in relation to the Altai Territory and the Tyumen region. Based on the available scientific developments and introducing into circulation a wide range of sources, the author of the work identifies the features of the development of federalism in the Omsk region within the framework of the system of socio-political and economic relations. Omsk region had serious industrial and agricultural potential, but also raw materials problems, exacerbated by the transition to market relations. The local leadership put forward the idea of regionalization of economic reform, which required the presence of a strong authoritarian business executive in power. But the active privatization carried out by external forces led to rapid bankruptcy, which did not suit the local leadership, and the population is not satisfied with the decline in living standards. In the Omsk region, this situation leads to increased support for left-wing parties. As part of the national administrative construction, the Azov German National District was created in the Omsk region. The idea of creating the territorial autonomy of the Siberian Tatars, triggered by the process of privatization of the oil industry, was stopped by transferring it to owners living outside the Omsk region.

Objective: to analyze the rate of treatment demand after contact with animals in the Omsk region.Materials and methods: we used data of rate of treatment demand of Omsk region population due to injuries caused by animals in 2009–2022. A descriptive-evaluative epidemiological research method was used. The characteristics of injuries from domestic owned (dogs and cats with an owner), domestic stray (stray dogs and cats) and wild (including synanthropic rodents) animals are analyzed. Results: in 2009–2022 in the Omsk region, 65142 people were injured by animals, which amounted to an average of 4653 complaints per year. Appeals from children aged 0–17 years old amounted to 36,5%, and from children aged 0–14 — 30,2% of the total. The leading role belongs to injuries caused by domestic animals — 67,1%, and of these, in 75,4% of cases — by dogs. An increase in calls regarding attacks by stray dogs has been established and is extremely pronounced regarding attacks by stray cats. The number of calls regarding bites from wild animals, namely squirrels and wild and synanthropic rodents, has increased significantly. Conclusions: In order to reduce the frequency of dangerous contacts with wild animals, in particular with squirrels, as well as with pets, it is necessary to carry out sanitary educational work with the population, especially children. The issue of installing warning boards in parks with a ban on hand-feeding squirrels, and installing feeding tables and feeders should be considered.

The article is dedicated to the history of the establishment of the villages of Malye Murly in the Tarsky District and Molodtsovo in the Muromtsevsky District of the Omsk Region, founded by Tatars during the period of mass migrations to Siberia. These villages no longer exist. The paper introduces documents from regional archives into scholarly discourse. Materials from the First All-Russian population census of 1897 have been analyzed to study the age, gender, and ethnic composition of the inhabitants. The article reconstructs the economic activities of the settlers. The authors conclude that the village of Malye Murly (also known as Novo-Murlinskaya) was established by Tatars from Ust-Tarskaya in the 1870s, while Molodtsovo (also known as Molodtsovsky settlement) was settled by residents of the Chipliarovski yurts prior to 1897. It is reported that both settlements lasted for about a century. Evidence suggests that the inhabitants of both settlements engaged little in agriculture; they had more developed livestock practices but lacked sufficient land resources, as the best lands were occupied by older settlements or belonged to the state. The authors conclude that in their formative stages, these settlements exhibit similar characteristics to another Tatar village, Mamshenkino in the Bolsherechensky District of Omsk Region, which was also founded during this period and whose residents eventually dispersed.

The article examines the characteristics of the formation of the rural settlement network in the territory of modern Omsk region during the last quarter of the 19th century through the early 20th century. The relevance of this study is driven by societal and governmental interest in rural history, as well as by the expansion of the source base, which is related to the popularization of museum collections and personal archives. Throughout the research, the author analyzes a wide range of sources and identifies features of the territory’s settlement, lifestyle, and everyday life of peasants, as well as the nature of relationships between settlers and natives. The author concludes that natural and geographical conditions played a significant role in shaping the network of rural settlements, organizing economic life, and the daily routines of peasants. Particular attention is paid to the study of the economic life of peasants, as it was one of the defining factors in the formation of the rural settlement network of the territory. The investigation reveals that agriculture was the main occupation for peasants in the Omsk Irtysh region, despite the limited amount of arable land available. Livestock breeding was confined to its economic significance. Additional income for peasants depended on their settlement location and was determined by the natural resources of the territory. Natural and geographical conditions also dictated the external appearance of settlements.

The purpose of the study conducted by the author is to determine a number of ethnic, economic and political factors. Factors that required the elaboration of the idea of creating territorial autonomy of the Siberian Tatars in the north of the Omsk and south of the Tyumen regions of the Russian Federation as an alternative to the growth of separatist insistence. At the same time, special attention is paid to the study of the views and activities of representatives of government bodies, socio-political organizations and subjects of economic relations in Western Siberia. The author’s research is conducted using a wide range of sources: documents of authorities and public organizations, reference materials, printed publications of authorities and public organizations, published memoirs of participants in the movement for the revival of Siberian Tatars and data obtained during meetings with them, materials of journalistic investigations. In the course of the research, the author turned to the method of historicism, in which synchronistic, statistical and comparative historical methods are used. The results of the study are the recognition of the inexpediency of creating the territorial autonomy of the Siberian Tatars based on ethnic factors and its complexity in view of the economic and political situation prevailing in the Russian Federation in the 1990.

Aim. The work was to compile a list of bird species and their status in the forest-steppe and steppe of the Middle Irtysh region at the present time and to analyse their potential ability in terms of the transmission of influenza viruses that pose a danger to humans and farm animals.Materials and Methods. The study of avifauna and their status in the forest-steppe and steppe of the Middle Irtysh region has been conducted by us from 1973 to the present. The analysis of literary sources has been carried out since the time of P.S. Pallas's travels in the region in 1871. In addition, information on the wetlands of the Irtysh region which is freely available on the Internet was used.Results. At the beginning of the 20th century, about 200 species of birds were recorded in the vicinity of Omsk, 125 of them being breeding species. At present about 150 species of birds have been recorded in Omsk and its environs. Of the 290 bird species of the Middle Irtysh region, 48 species (16.6%) belong among the natural hosts of influenza A viruses. Of these, at least 40 species are migratory and 25 species nest there. In addition to the prinicipal influenza virus host species, the list of birds of the Middle Irtysh region includes several species of scavengers and predators, as well as synanthropic bird species. These species may share habitat or food resources with the main host species of influenza viruses. Influenza A viruses can be transmitted between species either by direct or indirect contact through mechanical propagation or contamination of nutritional resources.Conclusion. As the 3 largest bird migratory flyways run through the Middle Irtysh region where there is a significant number of wetlands, the prerequisites are created for a mass simultaneous accumulation of different populations and species of migratory birds carrying viruses and, accordingly, a high probability of exchanging viral genomes with each other and their further spread to new regions.

Relevance. To date, no detailed analysis of the variants of the pathogen circulating at different times on the territory of the Omsk region has been carried out.Aim. Comparative analysis of the diversity of circulating variants of SARSCoV-2 based on molecular genetic data, determine the lines and time of their appearance, compare the data obtained with data from the GISAID database.Materials and methods. Genomewide sequencing of 222 primary and 5 culture (passages on Vero E6 and SPEV cell cultures) samples of SARS-CoV-2 from the Omsk region, collected from April 2020 to February 2022, on Oxford Nanopore Technologies and Illumina platforms, was carried out. Genetic lines were determined in Pangolin. The analysis was performed in MEGA7 and BioEdit.Results. 227 genomewide SARS-CoV-2 sequences were obtained. 222 genomes have been uploaded to the GISAID database. The lines to which the samples belong were determined, phylogenetic trees were constructed for various regions of the SARS-CoV-2 genome, the levels of virus homology were assessed and mutations in the Sprotein region were analyzed.Conclusions. According to the data obtained, it is possible to roughly judge the time of the appearance of a particular variant, its consolidation and distribution in the population, and observe the rare mutations and the circulation of some rare lines. To assess the possibility of significant geographically linked changes in the SARS-CoV-2 in the Omsk region, the data obtained are insufficient. Virus variants circulating in the region are grouped into one cluster with identical variants from other regions or countries. A more pronounced intracluster differentiation of the lines can be observed when analyzing the RBD region. The situation with COVID-19 in the Omsk region generally coincides with that in the whole country and the world. However, this does not exclude the parallel occurrence of certain mutations in remote territories from each other.

The main pharmacoepidemiological method for assessing the efficacy and safety of ongoing pharmacotherapy involves the collection of spontaneous reports on adverse drug reactions (ADRs) associated with the use of medicines. The aim of the study was to analyse approaches to organising a system for collecting information on ADRs associated with the use of medicinal products, taking the Omsk region as a case study.Materials and methods: the authors analysed 200 ADR reporting forms received by the Regional Centre for the Study of Side Effects of Drugs (RCSSED) in 2019.Results: the analysis determined the ways of receiving the forms in the RCSSED. According to the analysis, the ADR reports were submitted by medical organisations in Omsk (86%) and the Omsk region (0.5%), as well as directly by patients (13.5%). The leading sources of reports were clinical pharmacologists (80% of the forms). Most of the reports were on ADRs associated with the use of psychotropic (41%) and antitumour (10%) medicinal products; it is explained by the proactive attitude and high commitment of medical personnel from the specialised clinics in Omsk towards their professional duties. Other important sources of reports in the Omsk region, which contributed to the number of spontaneous reports from patients, were the patient hotline and free consultation appointments with the clinical pharmacologist of the RCSSED on side effects of medicinal products. The article emphasises the leading role of the RCSSED clinical pharmacologist in educating medical personnel—in pharmacovigilance, collecting information about the development of ADRs, and the quality of reporting form filling—and coordinating the activities of the medical and pharmacy services, including the stages of laboratory assessment of medicinal product quality and pharmaceutical consultation of general public. Conclusions: using the example of the Omsk region, the authors demonstrated the structural organisation of the collection of information about adverse reactions associated with the use of medicinal products. An important direction for further improvement of the organisation of ADR monitoring is the interaction with employees of pharmacy organisations, including additional training events for them.

The reference to this topic is due to necessity to create the most complete image of the region, as well as to expand ideas about the channels and methods of its formation in the official Soviet culture. The present scientific work describes the participation of Omsk region in the «Great Review», a unique propaganda and cultural and educational Soviet project of the 1930s which aroused great interest not only in the USSR but throughout the world. Special attention is paid to the self-presentation of Omsk region in such pavilions as «Siberia», «Grain», «Cattle breeding», «Rabbit breeding», «Veterinary medicine», «Gardening», «Printing», «Young naturalists». It is shown that the present and future of Omsk village was clearly associated with the scientific achievements: selection work of triticum-agropyrum hybrids carried out by the Siberian Research Institute of Grain Economy led by the Academician N. P. Tsitsin, the method of growing fruit trees in Siberian conditions developed by the doctor of agricultural sciences A. D. Kizyurin. Infotainment, sciencetainment, visualization and media technologies are noted as the main methods and ways of presenting information. Guidebooks on the All-Union Agricultural Exhibition of 1939–1941 are introduced into scientific circulation. They have not been involved in domestic research on the history of Siberia of the Soviet period.

Background. Of great importance for bumblebees is the availability of a food base in two significant periods of life: at the beginning of flight activity after leaving wintering and at the end of flight activity in the period before wintering. The purpose of the work was to analyze the interacting groups of the interspecific association of bumblebees of Omsk forest-steppe at the beginning of flight activity after leaving wintering. Materials and methods. Field determinants are used in the work; the taxonomy of bumblebee species is given by Williams P. Results. Taking into account the timing of summer of each species included in the interspecific association, we identified the period of the beginning of the flight activity of bumblebees – from the 1st decade of May to the 3rd decade of June. Depending on weather conditions during the period of leaving the winter, the timing of flight activity may shift. Conclusions. At the beginning of the flight activity of bumblebees of the interspecific association of the central forest-steppe of the Omsk region from the 1st decade of May to the 3rd decade of June, the main forage plants are 28 species from nine families. The interspecific association of the central forest-steppe of the Omsk region at the beginning of flight activity, after leaving wintering, consists of several interacting groups, which at certain periods are formed from a different number of bumblebees.

The issues of fishing among the West Siberian Tatars living on the territory of the Omsk region in the forest-steppe zone on the left bank of the Irtysh River are considered. The authors dwell on the characteristics of the traditional aquatic areas of the XIX — early XXI century, fishing objects, tools and methods of fishing. It is proved that the fishing of the Tatars in these settlements was an auxiliary branch of the economy in the past and present. It was shown that they fished almost all year round, mainly on lakes, where the main object of fishing was crucian carp. It is concluded that fishing was more developed among residents of settlements in the area of the village of Yalankul. It is shown that the Tatars of the villages in the area of the Ulenkul village are now less engaged in it because of the drying up of water bodies, as well as because of the withdrawal of lakes from nature management for transfer to the hunting farm and the reserve. The novelty of the research is seen in filling the gaps in the study of this topic. The authors note that material was collected about the fishing of the population, which previously consisted mainly of Siberian Bukharians and was actually assimilated by the Tatars.

The development of education in the country and in our region is a topic requiring knowledge not only of pedagogy, but also of the history of the social and economic development of the country and region. The appearance of a galaxy of psychologists and teachers in the 1970s was a consequence of the development of education and science not only in the central regions, but also on the periphery. During this period, the accumulation of experience and the expansion of the material and technical base of public education prompted teachers to search and experiment. In turn, the development of pedagogical universities led to the formation of pedagogical schools on the periphery. The source of one of these schools was M. N. Apletaev

The evolution of the basic livestock breeding sectors (meat and dairy cattle breeding, pig breeding, poultry farming, sheep breeding) in the Omsk Region in the 1960's – the first half of the 1980's is reconstructed, and their trends and outcomes are determined. It is proved that in the second half of the 1970's, the pace of development of agricultural production in the region declined, and in the early 1980's recession was recorded. At the same time, stagnation in the agrocomplex of the region was combined with positive structural changes. In gross production the share of animal husbandry grew. Within its framework, the role of early-ripening cattle-breeding sub-sectors — poultry and pig-breeding — has regularly increased. The intensive increase in livestock production in the first half of the period under review was a consequence of the recovery of the industry after the crisis of the early 1960's, and the positive impact of measures taken at the March (1965) plenum of the Central Committee of the CPSU. The slowdown in the development of the industry took place in the second half of the 1970's, and in 1980–1982

The purpose of this study is to assess the dynamics of the incidence of prostate cancer in the Omsk region for the period 2006– 2017. Materials and methods. A retrospective epidemiological analysis of data from statistical reports (Form No. 7) of the Omsk Oblast health authorities for the period 2006–2017 was carried out. Results and its discussion. In the structure of oncological morbidity in the male population of the Omsk Region, the proportion of prostate cancer was 16.3% and was lower than the average Russian average (17%). In rural areas, compared with the regional center, higher rates of increase in the incidence of prostate cancer were observed (by 1.2 times). In general, the situation on the territory of the Omsk Region is similar to the global trend, characterized by an increase in the incidence of the male population of prostate cancer, which is a reflection of insufficient attention to primary cancer prevention, features of the socio-economic situation in the Russian Federation. Findings. 1. In the long-term dynamics of incidence of prostate cancer in the region for the period 2006–2017. there was a moderately pronounced upward trend in indicators (Tpr. = 3.94%; p < 0.05), with higher growth rates (1.2 times) in rural areas compared to the regional center (respectively, 3.56% and 3.04%; p < 0.001). 2. From 2006 to 2017 incidence of prostate cancer in the Omsk region increased 2.3 times in total (from 29.2 to 66.2 per 100 ths) and 1.8 times in standardized indicators (from 24.8 to 44.4 per 100 ths). 3. Despite the obvious relevance of the pathology, the prevalence of known risk factors for the development of prostate cancer in the Omsk Region has not been studied sufficiently, which requires scientific justification and improvement of approaches to primary prevention with regard to regional characteristics.

The article discusses the demographic and economic aspects of the labor market of the Omsk region associated with the use of labor of older people. The paper analyzes the demographic and economic situation on the labor market that has developed on the regional labor market, assesses the natural movement of the population, reveals a tendency of demographic aging of the population, which is manifested in the growth of the population of older ages against the background of a relatively low birth rate. The paper concluded that the high economic activity of people in the older age groups is mainly due to the causes of socio-economic nature. The socio-economic factors that determine the growth of employment in the older population group are determined, the dominant ones are: lack of funds for current consumption, desire to be involved in the society, desire to create savings for the future. The importance of the older generation in the social development of the region is noted and the role of participation of this group in labor activity is determined, which necessitates the creation of favorable conditions for the realization of its resource potential, which should involve the development and implementation of appropriate health-saving programs, as well as a change in the socio-cultural paradigm of «old age» that creates representation of the elderly as an unproductive part of society

This research is based on localmonitoring in 1994-2018 on reference plots of agricultural lands and materials of a large-scale agrochemical survey. The research examined the soils of the forest-steppe zone of the Omsk Region: ordinary chernozem low-power low-humus heavy loamy soil; meadow-chernozem medium-thick medium-humus heavy loamy soil; and solonetz meadow chernozemic deep low humus clay soil. It was found that almost the entire surveyed area of arable land in the forest-steppe zone of the Omsk Irtysh Land (98.1 %) had low mobile zinc availability with an average level of 0.85 mg/kg. 41.1% of arable land had low mobile manganese availability, 41.3% had medium and 17.6% had high availability; the weighted average was 13.0 mg/kg. Most of the arable land was characterized by a low degree of mobile copper content security (81.2%), while 18.3% of the land had soil with an average content, and only 0.5% of the land had high mobile copper content. The average concentration was 20.0 mg/kg. The soil levels of mobile molybdenum availability were as follows: 71.6% of land had medium availability, 26.5% had high, and only 1.9% had low; the weighted average concentration was 0.20 mg/kg. All soils had a high degree of mobile forms of boron, while the weighted average was 2.69 mg/kg of soil. 67.8% of the area had low mobile cobalt availability, 31.6% had average availability, and 0.5 % had high availability, with an average concentration of 0.16 mg/kg in the zone. The reference plots did not differ in terms of their content of mobile zinc, copper, and cobalt, ordinary chernozems, meadow chernozem soils, and deep solonetz. Movable connections of molybdenum, manganese, and boron in ordinary chernozem were lower than in meadow chernozem soil, and the maximum ones were observed in solonetz meadow chernozemic deep. The reconstruction of the main stages of development of the grain industry in the Omsk region in 1960–1980s is carried out. It is established that the increase in the production of grain products at the time in question in the province alternated with periods of its fall. The dynamics of the grain industry was influenced by changes in the economic mechanism, the buildup of material and technical base, agrotechnology, and shifts in the structure of sown areas. At the same time, the main factor in the development of the industry remained weather and climate conditions, which had a decisive influence on fluctuations in the yield of grain crops

The article considers the reasons that stimulated the search for minerals in YamaloNenets Autonomous District in 1933–1937 years and the creation of production and territorial complexes in the mining industry. During this period the district was transferred from one territorial unit to another three times. Yamal was a part of the Ural region (the central city — Sverdlovsk) until 1933, in 1934 – in the Ob-Irtysh region (the central city — Tyumen), in 1935 it was included in the Omsk region (the central city — Omsk). Initially the search of minerals on the territory of Western Siberia was carried out in respect that the Ural-Kuznetsk combine’s needs, which was built in 1929–1932 years. Resources of adjacent territories (North-Eastern Kazakhstan, Ural, Bashkiria, Western Siberia) were used for maintenance of the complex. At that time exploration work was conducted on the whole territory of the Ural region with the exception of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. After formation of the regional local lore organization in the Ob-Irtysh region (JuneAugust, 1934) and creation of its structural division in the Yamalo-Nenets National District (September-December, 1934), there were data on availability in the district of minerals in mass media. The government has decided that if there are minerals then there should be its own production. In 1935–1936, Yamalo-Nenets District Commitee applied to the Omsk regional Executive Committee for the allocation of funds for the district for the construction of mining industry — brick and limestone industry

The current paper features the peculiarities of colonization of the Kolosovsky district of the Omsk region in the 16th – early 20th centuries. The author integrally approaches the study of this process, analyzing the main ways of settling and economic development of the area. Considerable attention is paid to the factors that conditioned the process of development of the territory. The formation of the rural settlement network of the district, in many ways, was determined by the vectors of state policy, in particular, the policy of resettlement of peasants from the country's low-land regions. Favorable geographical and climatic conditions, the presence of the river artery made the territory of the Kolosovsky district attractive for settlers, who both established their own settlements and settled in old-timer villages. The history of the region is considered in the mainstream of the history of the state, taking territorial features into account. The article outlines the stages of development of the territory, characterizes each of them, by emphasizing the economic activity development. The author gives specific dates for the formation of villages, analyzing the available foundation versions.

- Abstract
Despite the active study of vitamin D, today the problem of its insufficient supply remains relevant both in Russia and throughout the world. In our country, the situation is affected by the geographical, climatic, as well as ethnic and cultural characteristics of each region. It is of interest to assess the temporal and territorial characteristics of the population's sufficiency. The purpose of the study was to analyze long-term and intra-annual dynamics of vitamin D status among residents of the Western Siberia region for the correction of prevention programs. Material and methods . An analysis of the vitamin D status in the residents of Western Siberia, located at 53-58° northern latitude, was carried out. The study was carried out among adults aged 18 to 93 years, the median age was 49 [36; 62] years (n=2586). Vitamin D status was determined by the level of 25(OH)D in venous blood serum. The determination was carried out using chemiluminescence immunoassay. Study period - 2017-2023. Results . The results of the study demonstrate an improvement in vitamin D status in residents of Omsk region in dynamics. This is manifested in a decrease in the proportion of people with deficiency from 41.6±1.6% in 2017-2019 to 33.5±1.7% in the period 2022-2023 (p<0.001) and an increase in the proportion of the examined with optimal sufficiency from 26.7±1.4 to 38.2±1.8% (p<0.001). An obvious dependence of vitamin D serum level on the month of the year has been established: low values were noted in the winter and spring months with a minimum in March (18.4 [12.1; 27.9] ng/ml). Conclusion . Seasonal variations are an important factor influencing 25(OH)D blood level. The decrease in the proportion of individuals with deficiency states most likely indicates an increase in vitamin D intake from food or supplements, which requires further study., Competing Interests: The authors declare no conflicts of interest., (Copyright© GEOTAR-Media Publishing Group.)

Lung cancer incidence in the Omsk region was studied. Advanced lung cancer was shown to be commonly detected in patients of the 30 to 49 age group. For this patient group, adenocarcinoma was the most common histological type of lung cancer. The highest incidence of lung cancer was observed in both men and women aged 45–47 years. Thus, to improve early detection of lung cancer, the optimal age for lung cancer screening should be in the age range of 40–50 years.
