This experiment systematically examines the team dynamics (i.e. team emergent states and processes) in human-human-AI teams compared to pure human teams.

Teamarbeit in Organisationen ist dynamisch, weshalb es Methoden braucht, die diese Dynamiken empirisch abbilden können. Ziel dieser Dissertation war die Exploration entsprechender Mess- und Analysemethoden, wobei ein Fokus auf dem Einsatz von digitalen Spurendaten und deren Datenqualität liegt. Es werden drei empirische Studien vorgestellt, welche a) personen-zentrierte Methoden zur Analyse von Motivationsprofilen in Teams nutzen, b) die Auswahl und Inhaltsvalidität digitaler Spurendaten explorieren und c) Reaktionen von Teammitgliedern auf die Datenerfassung untersuchen. Insgesamt zeigt sich, dass es vielfältige Möglichkeiten zur Messung von Teamdynamiken mit digitalen Daten gibt, dies jedoch reaktive Effekte hervorrufen kann. Aufbauend darauf wird ein Prozess datengetriebener Teamentwicklungspraktiken in Organisationen vorgeschlagen und es werden Empfehlungen für das Design digitaler Datenstudien abgeleitet, welche die Inhaltsvalidität und Zumutbarkeit der Datenerfassung fokussieren. The aim of this dissertation was to explore appropriate measurement and analysis methods, with a focus on the use of digital trace data and their data quality. Three empirical studies are presented that a) use person-centred methods to analyse motivational profiles in teams, b) explore the selection and content validity of digital trace data, and c) examine team members' reactions to the data collection procedure. Overall, it is shown that there are multiple ways to measure team dynamics with digital data, but the data collection can have reactive effects on team members. Building on this, a process of data-driven team development practices in organizations is proposed and recommendations for the design of digital data studies that focus on content validity and reasonableness of data collection are derived.
