This paper studies optical soliton perturbation that appears with quadratic-cubic nonlinearity, by the aid of Adomian decomposition method (ADM). Bright, dark and W -shaped solitons are examined that are obtained by the aid of this numerical scheme. The error plots are also given to give a taste of the accuracy of this scheme. With the recent trend in the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), there is a need for an accurate approximate analytical solution from which several intrinsic features of COVID-19 dynamics can be extracted. This study proposes a time-fractional model for the SEIR COVID-19 mathematical model to predict the trend of COVID-19 epidemic in China. The efficient approximate analytical solution of multistage optimal homotopy asymptotic method (MOHAM) is used to solve the model for a closed-form series solution and mathematical representation of COVID-19 model which is indeed a field where MOHAM has not been applied. The equilibrium points and basic reproduction number (R 0) are obtained and the local stability analysis is carried out on the model. The behaviour of the pandemic is studied based on the data obtained from the World Health Organization. We show on tables and graphs the performance, behaviour, and mathematical representation of the various fractional-order of the model. The study aimed to expand the application areas of fractional-order analysis. The results indicate that the infected class decreases gradually until 14 October 2021, and it will still decrease slightly if people are being vaccinated. This article examines magnetohydrodynamic 3D nanofluid flow due to a rotating disk subject to Arrhenius activation energy and heat generation/absorption. Flow is created due to a rotating disk. Velocity, temperature and concentration slips at the surface of the rotating disk are considered. Effects of thermophoresis and Brownian motion are also accounted. The nonlinear expressions have been deduced by transformation procedure. Shooting technique is used to construct the numerical solution of governing system. Plots are organized just to investigate how velocities, temperature and concentration are influenced by various emerging flow parameters. Skin-friction Local Nusselt and Sherwood numbers are also plotted and analyzed. In addition, a symmetry is noticed for both components of velocity when Hartman number enhances. The present article investigates Darcy–Forchheimer 3D nanoliquid flow because of a rotating disk with Arrhenius activation energy. Flow is created by rotating disk. Impacts of thermophoresis and Brownian dispersion are accounted for. Convective states of thermal and mass transport at surface of a rotating disk are imposed. The nonlinear systems have been deduced by transformation technique. Shooting method is employed to construct the numerical arrangement of subsequent problem. Plots are organized just to investigate how velocities, concentration, and temperature are influenced by distinct emerging flow variables. Surface drag coefficients and local Sherwood and Nusselt numbers are also plotted and discussed. Abstract: This paper considers a just-in-time (JIT) manufacturing system in which a single manufacturer procures raw materials from a single supplier, process them to produce finished products, and then deliver the products to a single-buyer. The customer demand rate is assumed to be linearly decreasing time-varying. In the JIT system, in order to minimize the suppliers as well as the buyers holding costs, the supply of raw materials and the delivery of finished products are made in small quantities. In this case, both the supply and the delivery may require multiple installments for a single production lot. We develop a mathematical model for this problem, propose a simple methodology for solving the model, and illustrate the effectiveness of the method with numerical examples. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

This paper studies fractional temporal evolution of optical solitons with quadratic–cubic nonlinearity that comes with a few perturbation terms. Khalil's conformable fractional derivative as well as Liu's extended trial function scheme are applied to retrieve these soliton solutions.
