The article discusses the aftermath of the meltdown at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant in Japan in 2011 and the resistance movement to keep the country's nuclear plants from reopening. The author argues that the Governor of Saga led a plot to orchestrate false public support for the opening of the plants. The author also highlights the plight of farmer Naoto Matsumura who is protesting the reopening of the Fukushima plant by remaining in his home inside the exclusion zone.
