The present paper presents a statistical analysis of the Gross Domestic Product/person, at the national level, in relation to the member countries of the European Union, using statistical data published by Eurostat, Naational Institute of Statistics (INSSE), FAOSTAT and the World Bank. Based on the data centralization, calculations were made to determine some absolute and relative statistical indicators, such as the absolute change, the dynamic index or the dynamic rate. The purpose of this paper is to analyze and observe GDP per inhabitant evolution, in the period 2017 - 2022, as well as the hierarchy of European member countries, according to this macroeconomic indicator. Going through the work, it can be observed that the order of each member state in different hierarchies based on the GDP level, nominal or real, differs, depending on the perspective from which the data is analyzed. Not always a country with a high level of GDP is characterized by a higher level of well-being of the population. Also, a country that has not yet reached economic maturity in terms of GDP level, may have advantages over the already mature European economic markets over a longer period of time. Following the research carried out within the ADER 2412 project, entitled Research on the economic efficiency of raising sheep, goats, dairy and beef cattle and buffaloes, quantitative data were collected, analyzing the activity of livestock farms located in different counties in Romania , regarding different characteristics: farm size, level of milk production obtained, yields recorded at the farm level, degree of productivity, level of expenditure and income, break- even point. Based on the centralized data, a series of economic and financial indicators were calculated to determine the feasibility of the livestock farm, depending on the county in which it operates, such as: income rate (with or without access to subsidies) , profit rate, exploitation risk rate, security index. In this paper, the emphasis is on the prototype of farms where negative economic results are recorded, in the sense that the factors that determined their identification are identified, thus outlining a series of recommendations to achieve and increase economic effectiveness and efficiency. at farm level.

An efficient agriculture is a basic branch of a strong economic system, regardless of the country referred to. All the more we can say this in the case of Romania, taking into account the fact that our country enjoys favorable climatic and pedological conditions for the practice of agriculture, at a high level of productivity. Agriculture is a widely debated topic both in specialized papers, published internationally and domestically, and in various national or European research projects. This is also the case of the project included in the Horizon 2020 program, COASTAL-Collaborative Land-Sea Integration Platform, financed by financing contract number 773782, in which agriculture is treated as a reference economic activity of the Danube Delta coastal area, along with rural tourism. In this paper are analyzed factors that have been delimited by specialists and operators in the field as determinants for specific agriculture in the Danube Delta area.

According to the concept of efficient economic growth, it is important that the sustainable development strategy in Romania take into account the constantly changing economic and social factors, both at national and international level. Unfortunately, taking into consideration the Danube region in Romania, we find several obstacles like the low level of the growth regarding the infrastructure in the area, the psycho-social characteristics of the population, the professional training degree, the crisis economic, superficiality in the work done by certain local public administrations. Of course, the factors enumerated above influence among other economic activities and the tourism activity in the area of interest. Being one of the important sources of income for the Danube population in Romania, both traditional and industrial tourism affect the labor market, with phenomena such as population migration or high unemployment rate. This paper presents the current trend in tourism and labor market in counties such as Braila, Constanta, Tulcea, Galati, Ialomita, using the online statistical databases. We will also analyze, using different statistical indicators, the degree of impact and the correlations existing between the economic tourism activity and the characteristics of the labor market, {"references":["[1]Bălan, M., 2016, Traditional and industrial tourism – vectors of growth clusters for employment in the countries of the macro-Danube Region, Clusters as drivers of value chain development across the Danube Region, Editura Economică, București: pp.225 - 240.","[2] Dezvoltare teritorială durabilă a teritoriului Dunării din România, 2012, Document de Consultare, pag. 5, retrieved at http://www.mdrap.ro/userfiles/espon/ dimensiune _teritoriala/reuniune2/materiale05.pdf, July 15, 2018.","[3]Erdeli, G., Dincă, A.I., 2011, Tourism – A vulnerable strength in the protected areas of the Romanian Carpathians, Procedia Social and Behavioral Sciences Vol. 19: pp.190–197","[4] EUSDR – European Union Strategy for the Danube Region, Priority Area 3 - Danube Region Strategy Culture and Tourism, retrieved at https://www.danubecultureandtourism.eu/, July 15, 2018.","[5]Hall, D., Richards G. The tobacco market in Romania has seen a significant increase regarding the size of the areas covered by this industrial crop and production. One of the key factors underpinning this statement is the volume of forms of financial support under the PAC 2014-2020 for this crop. It is well known that among the National Transitional Aid for the Vegetable Sector, the tobacco subsidy (ANT 4) provides the highest amounts per hectare cultivated. In this paper we will evaluate the relationship between production variables, existing surfaces on the tobacco market and, on the other hand, the volume of subsidies granted to us in the country using statistical analysis methods using SPSS and Microsoft Excel.

This paper aims to highlight the importance of applying and administering fertilizers to wheat production at national level. As far as the territory of our country is concerned, the regions on which the most important wheat production has been registered, along with the amount of fertilizers administered in the respective areas, as well as their type (nitrogenous, phosphatic, potassium, natural) fertilizers. Thus, using statistical models such as the Pearson correlation coefficient, Spearman's correlation coefficient, we can see concretely the link between the two variables analyzed (the production obtained and the quantity of applied fertilizer) and the nature of its intensity (low, medium, high). It is also desirable to know the most efficient types of fertilizer in order to increase wheat yield per hectare at national level in the context of the other key factors, components of the farm's macroeconomics.

The agri-food sector in Romania is of particular importance for the market economy, referring to agriculture, food industry, commerce, and not ultimately the final consumer. Due to changes in consumer behavior of agri-food products, it is increasingly desirable to know the food traceability, the concept from farm to fork being constantly developing. In the context of ensuring food security, it is important to have an efficient monitoring of the food route in order to keep it fresh. An important factor in this process is the new communication and information technologies, which are in continuous development especially from the applicative point of view. This paper aims to support the producers and suppliers of fresh agri-food products in order to improve management at the short supply chain by exemplifying some types of computer tools that can be used in their work. The conclusion was that GIS maps and GPS location enable the use to know where production is located and the storage conditions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
