Nondestructive test method for residual stress in a structural member is always an important research subject, as a new technique for measuring residual stress loading measuring method needs to consummate for the convenience of engineering. The paper proves that nondestructive test loading measuring method is effective and accurate when compared with the result from hole-drilling method. Taking the measurement of residual stress of injection-molded part in automotive lamp as example, the residual stresses in the surface of injection-molded parts of automotive lamp measured by the two methods are very close based on the two measuring results. It shows that loading measuring method, a new method is used to measure the residual stress, has enough accuracy and credibility when it is used to measure the residual stress of complicated injection-molded part. It provides a basis for popularization and application of loading measuring method in engineering. The paper discusses the basic principles of loading measuring method and detailed procedure of the measurement of residual stress by loading measuring method; it gives out some advices to reduce the test errors.

In the problem of mold heating proper parameters of mold temperature controller are important for mold temperature, but the parameters are hard to calculate for numerous computing amount, and simulating its state during heating is also difficult for there is a limitation for flow velocity of hot water that simulating will be failure when large velocity. To solve this problem the paper presents an algorithm based on the fast algorithm for heating injection mold by water. A mold temperature equation is established, and the dichotomy method based on the fast algorithm as a core is used to numerically solve the mold temperature equation. The first step of this process is to construct a similar model having the same solution with the original model of the mold heating problem. The similar model is obtained by similarity transformation to the original model. The second step is to solve the similar model, which is fast than solving the original model. The third step is to find solution of the mold temperature equation meeting the heating conditions. An example is given to show that parameters of mold temperature controller are easy to calculate.

Background: Iron overload is considered an unfavorable prognosis in myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) even in those undergoing allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT). Although iron chelation therapy has improved the prognosis of these patients to some extent, the effect has not yet been satisfactory., Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the impact of granulocyte colony-stimulating factor and decitabine (G-DAC)-containing conditioning in iron-overloaded MDS patients undergoing allo-HSCT., Design: This was a retrospective study., Methods: One hundred and ninety-seven patients were enrolled in this retrospective study. Based on the level of serum ferritin (SF) and conditioning regimen, all patients enrolled were divided into four groups: SF < 1000 µg/L with G-DAC conditioning (cohort 1), SF < 1000 µg/L with non-G-DAC conditioning (cohort 2), SF ⩾ 1000 µg/L with G-DAC conditioning (cohort 3), and SF ⩾ 1000 µg/L with non-G-DAC conditioning (cohort 4). The clinical features and prognosis of the four groups were analyzed., Results: Significant differences in the 2-year overall survival (OS), disease-free survival (DFS), and the cumulative incidence of non-relapse mortality (NRM) were observed between the four groups. Multivariate analysis revealed that SF ⩾ 1000 µg/L was a risk factor for OS, DFS, and NRM while G-DAC-containing conditioning was a protective factor. Intriguingly, when cohort 1 to cohort 4 were included in the multivariate analysis, only cohort 4 was a risk factor for OS, DFS, and NRM, cohort 3 had no difference in prognosis compared with patients with SF < 1000 µg/L., Conclusion: The poor prognosis of patients with iron overload may be overcome by G-DAC-containing conditioning partly., Competing Interests: The authors declare that there is no conflict of interest., (© The Author(s), 2024.)
