Energy is an important component of urban carbon emissions. Assessing the peak of urban energy carbon is a necessary means to implement the national “double carbon” strategy. For this reason, this paper proposes an energy carbon peaking assessment method based on Mann-Kendall trend test for carbon emission of urban energy. By constructing a carbon monitoring system covering elements such as energy carbon emissions, clean energy generation, and transportation electric energy substitution, the total energy carbon emissions of the city are calculated by combining historical data. In view of the seasonality and randomness of energy carbon emissions, the Mann-Kendall trend test was used to establish a model for determining urban energy carbon peaking and to measure regional carbon emissions in different periods. Taking an administrative region in Shanghai as an example, the peak status of energy carbon in this region is judged from the perspective of year and quarter. The results show that based on the annual data, the region has reached its peak energy carbon in 2020. Based on quarterly data, peak energy carbon has been achieved in summer and autumn, while spring and winter are still in plateau. The methods proposed in this paper can be used to assess the carbon peak status in the city, and provide a reference for examining the carbon peak process in other provinces and cities.

Existing calculation methods of carbon emission cannot well meet the needs of gradual refinement and real-time of carbon emission regions. In order to ensure the real-time and accuracy of carbon emissions responsibility allocation, a real-time calculation method of carbon emissions in urban regions is proposed. The improved K-means clustering algorithm is used to cluster and combine the operating periods and operating scenarios of the urban area energy load,so as to obtain the typical carbon emission characteristics. The regional unit electricity carbon emission is proposed as a carbon emission indicator, the operating period and scenario are classified, and the unit electricity carbon emission and the total carbon emission of urban regions for each cluster are calculated. The proposed algorithm is verified based on part of the historical data of energy consumption in the energy brain of a certain region in eastern China. The results show that the clustering method and carbon emission indicators can effectively calculate the total carbon emission of urban regions in real-time.

In this paper, we combine an energy decomposition analysis (EDA) scheme with many-body expansion (MBE) to develop a MB-EDA method to study the cooperative and anti-cooperative effects in molecular cluster systems. Based on the target state optimization self-consistent field (TSO-SCF) method, the intermolecular interaction energy can be decomposed into five chemically meaningful terms, i.e., electrostatic, exchange, polarization, charge transfer and dispersion interaction energies. MB-EDA can decompose each of these terms in MBE. This MB-EDA has been applied to 3 different cluster systems: water clusters, ionic liquid clusters, and acetonitrile-methane clusters. This reveals that electrostatic, exchange, and dispersion interactions are highly pairwise additive in all systems. In water and ionic liquid clusters, the many-body effects are significant in both polarization and charge transfer interactions, but are cooperative and anti-cooperative, respectively. For acetonitrile-methane clusters, which do not involve hydrogen bonds or charge–charge Coulombic interactions, the many-body effects are quite small. The chemical origins of different many-body effects are deeply analyzed. The MB-EDA method has been implemented in Qbics (https://qbics.info) and can be a useful tool for understanding the many-body behavior in molecular aggregates at the quantum chemical level of theory. Resveratrol (RES) has been reported to prevent hyperuricemia (HUA); however, its effect on intestinal uric acid metabolism remains unclear. This study evaluated the impact of RES on intestinal uric acid metabolism in mice with HUA induced by a high-fat diet (HFD). Moreover, we revealed the underlying mechanism through metagenomics, fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT), and 16S ribosomal RNA analysis. We demonstrated that RES reduced the serum uric acid, creatinine, urea nitrogen, and urinary protein levels, and improved the glomerular atrophy, unclear renal tubule structure, fibrosis, and renal inflammation. The results also showed that RES increased intestinal uric acid degradation. RES significantly changed the intestinal flora composition of HFD-fed mice by enriching the beneficial bacteria that degrade uric acid, reducing harmful bacteria that promote inflammation, and improving microbial function via the upregulation of purine metabolism. The FMT results further showed that the intestinal microbiota is essential for the effect of RES on HUA, and that Lactobacillus may play a key role in this process. The present study demonstrated that RES alleviates HFD-induced HUA and renal injury by regulating the gut microbiota composition and the metabolism of uric acid. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract Background To explore the epidemiological characteristics, clinical characteristics, treatment strategies, and clinical results of non-dislocated hyperextension tibial plateau fracture. Method A total of 25 cases of non-dislocated hyperextension tibial plateau fracture patients were collected (12 males and 13 females), aged 27–79 years. Preoperative tibial plateau posterior slope angle was − 10~0° (average − 5.2°). Preoperative MRI showed 5 cases of MCL injury, 3 cases of PLC complex injury, and 2 cases of PLC + PCL injury. The change of tibial plateau posterior slope angle was more than 10° in patients with ligament injury, and the patients with a tibial plateau posterior slope angle change less than 10° had no ligament injury; 6 patients with simple column fracture had a ligament injury, 2 patients with bilateral column fracture had a ligament injury, and 2 patients with three column fracture had a ligament injury. Results Patients were followed up for 12–24 months (average 16.4 months). The operative time was 65–180 min (average 124 min), and the blood loss was 20–200 ml (average 106 ml). The plate was placed on the anterior part of tibial plateau. Evaluation of postoperative fracture reduction was as follows: 20 cases reached anatomic reduction, 5 cases reached good reduction (between 2 and 5 mm articular surface collapse), and the excellent rate of fracture reduction was 100%. The fracture healing time was 3–6 months (average 3.3 months). The postoperative knee Rasmussen score was 18–29 (average 24.9), and the postoperative knee joint mobility was 90–130° (average 118°). Two patients suffered superficial infection. Conclusions The main imaging characteristic of “non-dislocated hyperextension tibial plateau fracture” is the change of tibial plateau posterior slope angle. The injury of single anteromedial column/anterolateral column fracture is easy to combine with “diagonal” injury, and when the tPSA changes more than 10°, it is easy to be combined with ligament injury. By reducing the joint articular surface and lower limb force line, repairing the soft tissue structure, and reconstructing the knee joint stability, we can get satisfactory results. Trial registration It was a retrospective study. This study was consistent with the ethical standards of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University Medical College and was approved by the hospital ethics committee and the trial registration number of our hospital was 20180145 .

Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate our treatment algorithm and results in revision surgery of malunited tibial plateau fracture after failure of initial treatment. Methods: Our revision strategy was as follows: First, we determined the presence of any infection. Second, we determined whether the patient required total knee arthroplasty (TKA). Third, based on the characteristics of the tibial plateau fracture malunion, patients underwent one of the following surgical methods to achieve reduction: original fracture line osteotomy, tibial tubercle + original fracture line osteotomy, fibula head + original fracture line osteotomy, and metaphyseal open window reduction rod technique. The results was assessed with healing time, Rasmussen score, knee range of motion and complication rates. Results: A total of 25 patients 16 men and 9 women; Mean age: 47.4 years (range: 35–63 years) underwent tibial plateau fracture revision operation. The time interval between the two surgeries was 2–24 months. The follow-up time was 12–30 months, and the operation time was 120–300 min. All patients received bone union at the last follow-up.
