Background: Osteoporosis (OP) is a condition that significantly decreases bone density and strength, often remaining undetected until the occurrence of a fracture. Timely identification of OP is essential for preventing fractures, reducing morbidity, and enhancing the quality of life. Objective: This study aims to improve the accuracy, speed, and reliability of early-stage osteoporosis detection by integrating the compact architecture of Cascaded ShuffleNet with the pattern recognition prowess of Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs). Methods: BoneVoyage leverages the efficiency of ShuffleNet and the analytical capabilities of ANNs to extract and analyze complex features from bone density scans. The framework was trained and validated on a comprehensive dataset containing thousands of bone density images, ensuring robustness across diverse cases. Results: This model achieving an accuracy of 97.2%, with high sensitivity and specificity. These results significantly surpass those of existing OP detection methods, highlighting the effectiveness of the BoneVoyage framework in identifying subtle changes in bone density indicative of early-stage osteoporosis. Conclusions: BoneVoyage represents a significant advancement in the early detection of osteoporosis, offering a reliable tool for healthcare providers to identify at-risk individuals prematurely. Background: Lasmiditan is an agonist of 5HT1F receptor, acute migraine is treated and oral dose is safe and effective. No analytical methods were reported on Lasmiditan Drug. Objectives: The goal of the current project is to create a quick, effective, and reproducible LC/MS/MS method for the estimation of Lasmiditan. The mobile phase was used Acetonitrile: 0.1% formic acid (70:30) in the developed method, and it was running down a C18 column (SP) with dimensions of 150 mm, 4.6 mm i.d., and 3.5 µm at a rate of 1 mL/minute. The [M+H]+ ion m/z ratio for the substance was observed in the mass spectrum was 378.24. The drug had a retention time of 2.3 minutes. The linearity range was found to be in between 12.50 ng/mL and 75 ng/mL. The regression coefficient value was found to be 0.999, which is good satisfactory value for linearity. The LOD and LOQ for baseline measurement and detection were 0.66 ng/mL and 2.22 ng/mL, respectively; the method was shown good accuracy and precision levels, and it was proved through the assay values. The method was proved as robust after deliberated changes in parameters of flow rate (±0.2mL) and organic phase (±3 mL) in mobile phase composition and values were found to be 99.50%-100.73% & 99.10%- 101.83% respectively. Conclusion: The LC/MS/MS method is more advanced and sensitive to determine the drugs at nanograms level. Hence developed method used for the regular assay. Arthritis, an inflammatory joint disease-causing synovial membrane inflammation, pain, and restricted movement, affects approximately 2% of the Indian population. This study systematically explores the synergistic anti-arthritic potential of a combined extract from Boswellia serrata and Melia azedarach. Phytochemical analysis of the extract identified coumarin, alkaloids, flavonoids, polyphenols, and tannins through TLC studies. The anti-arthritic assay, employing the protein denaturation method, determined IC50 values for the combined extract (BS&MA) and the reference standard (Diclofenac sodium) as 594.35µg/ml and 87.12µg/ml, respectively. Comparative analysis indicated moderate anti-arthritic activity for the combined extract in relation to diclofenac sodium. These preliminary findings warrant further in vitro investigations to substantiate and extend our understanding of the observed effects. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A study on evaluation of sapota genotypes collected from different parts of India was carried out at the Department ofFruit Crops, Horticultural College and Research Institute, Periyakulam during the year 2008-2009. Observation onquantitative traits viz., tree height (m), canopy spread (m2), number of fruits/tree, mean fruit weight (g) and yield offruits/tree (kg) were recorded. In addition, data on the qualitative traits viz., total soluble solids (◦Brix), total sugars (%)and ascorbic acid content (mg/100g) were recorded. The highest tree height (11.2 m) and canopy spread (116.8 m2) wasrecorded by the hybrid CO1 followed by the variety Cricket Ball. PKM1 had more number of fruits/tree (1690); CricketBall registered the highest mean fruit weight of 135 g. The highest yield of 139 kg/tree was recorded by PKM4followed by Virudhunagar local which recorded an yield of 135.75 kg/tree. Correlation analysis revealed that there wasa positive correlation between tree height and canopy spread. The attributes like number of fruits per tree and canopyspread had positive correlation with fruit yield per tree. The quality traits, viz., total sugars and ascorbic acid contenthad negative correlation with fruit yield indicating that simultaneous improvement of yield and quality was notpossible.

Herein, the nanoparticles of SrTiO3perovskite oxide were synthesized using simple hydrothermal process. The synthesized perovskite oxide material was characterized by XRD and FTIR techniques. The XRD analysis reveals that the formed SrTiO3 perovskite oxide in cubic crystal phase with high phase purity. The FTIR result demonstrate the stretching and vibration bands of Ti-O and Sr-O along with O-H functional groups. The SrTiO3perovskite oxide powder was added to silicone resin and the paste was applied on AZ31 alloy sample, which was then used for electrochemical analysis. The corrosion characteristics of SrTiO3perovskite oxide coating over AZ31 alloy were investigated in 7 % NaCl electrolyte, wherein platinum foil used as counter electrode, saturated calomel electrode (SCE) as reference and SrTiO3perovskite oxide coated AZ31 alloy as working electrode. The results reveal that the open circuit potential of AZ31 alloy shifted from -1.57 V (SCE) to -0.95 V (SCE). The corrosion rates of bare AZ31 alloy calculated and found as 7 x 10-2 mA/cm2, while the same after coating was measured as 9 x 10-6 mA/cm2. The electrochemical impedance results also reveal that corrosion protection induced by the coating. Hence, it is summarized that the SrTiO3perovskite oxide coating demonstrated improved corrosion resistance for AZ31 alloy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Amoxicillin is a broad spectrum antibiotic used for the treatment which includes helicobacter pylori. For better action of drug formulated the locally acting gastric floating drug delivery is preferred by applying sintering technique. Eudragit RS 100 is used to retard the drug release with HPMC to enhance floating lag time. All the formulation prepared by wet granulation method. Pre compression parameters were studied. Fourier transform infrared analysis was studied and reveals that there is no interaction between polymer and drug.. Results showed that floating time was decreased and total floating time was improved after thermal treatment. In vitro drug release was retarded upon exposure to different temperature and time. Sintered formulation of AE3 at 55°C and the time of exposure is 2.5 h was selected based on drug retarding power. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
