There is an increasing trend of using automated and robotic systems for the tasks that are hazardous or inconvenient and dirty for humans. Sewers maintenance and cleaning is such a task where robots are already being used for inspection of underground pipes for blockages and damage. This paper reviews the existing robotic systems and various platforms and algorithms along with their capabilities and limitations being discussed. A typical mid-size city in a developing country, Pune, India is selected in order to understand the concerns and identify the requirements for developing robotic systems for the same. It is found that major concern of sewers are blockages but there is not enough information on both real-time detection and removal of it with robotic systems. On-board processing with computer vision algorithms has not been efficiently utilized in terms of performance and determinations for real-world implementations of sewer robotic systems. Acute iron poisoning and chronic iron overload consequences in significant morbidity and mortality worldwide. Treatment of acute iron poisoning and chronic iron overload can be challenging and care providers are often tackled with management dilemmas. Iron chelating agents are commonly prescribed for patients with iron deficiency anemia. In this review article, different analytical techniques are reported used for qualitative and quantitative analysis of iron chelating agents like, deferiprone, deferoxamine, and deferasirox. Efforts are taken to collect all related articles published till October 2018. This review discusses all analytical methods, its advantages and disadvantages as well as its applications. This article will help you to know about basic analytical techniques as well as advanced hyphenated techniques practiced for determination of iron chelating agents in different matrices. A stability-indicating high-performance thin-layer chromatography method for determination of benazepril both in bulk and pharmaceutical formulation has been developed and validated as per ICH guidelines. The benazepril was analyzed on pre-coated silica gel GF254 plates using Carbon tetrachloride: Methanol: Triethylamine (7.6: 2.4: 0.1 v/v) as the mobile phase. The concentration of benazepril was determined by densitometry at 240 nm. The method was found to be linear, with r2 = 0.998±0.3347 in the concentration range 200 - 1200 ng per spot. The LOD and LOQ were 19.48 ng and 59.03 ng per spot respectively. Benazepril was subjected to forced degradation like acid and alkali hydrolysis, oxidation, photo and thermal degradation. The drug was found to degrade under acidic, basic, oxidative and thermal conditions. The degraded product was well resolved from the pure drug with significantly different Rf value. In validation, it was found that the method is repeatable, selective and accurate for the estimation of benazepril. The proposed developed stability-indicating HPTLC method can be applied for identification and quantitative determination of benazepril in bulk drug and pharmaceutical formulation.
