Background: Football, as the most popular sport globally, encompasses fundamental skills like the lofted pass, a cornerstone technique mastered early in player development. Purpose study: This study aimed to analyze long passing performance disparities between senior male and female football players. Method and material: A total of 74 football players, comprising 35 boys and 39 girls (ages 15-18 years), were randomly selected as subjects. Personal information including academic details, age, Body height (cm), Body weight (kg), BMI (kg/m²), training age, and level played, alongside football performance metrics such as: Ball speed (km), Kicked ball distance (m) and Approach run distance (m), were recorded. Data collection involved the use of a Bushnell Radar gun for speed tests and long pass (Model 101911, USA), a digital weighing scale for body weight (BEURER Typ 35, Germany), Stadiometer for body height measurement (SECA 206, Germany) and a measuring tape for distance measurements. Talent identification and player development are crucial aspects of sports management, particularly in volleyball, where understanding players' performance predictors is essential. The primary objective is to investigate the relationships between players' demographic and physical attributes and their on-court performance, providing valuable insights for talent identification and player development strategies. The dataset comprises demographic and physical attributes alongside performance metrics of college-level female volleyball players in India. Data were meticulously collected from various institutions participating in volleyball tournaments across India. Three machine learning algorithms--linear regression, random forest regression, and XGBoost regression--were trained using the pre-processed dataset. Standard regression evaluation metrics such as mean squared error (MSE), root mean squared error (RMSE), and R-squared (R2) score were used to assess model performance. Random forest regression emerged as the top-performing ML technique, achieving a prediction accuracy of 94.18%, followed by XGBoost regression with 92.76%. Height, muscle mass, and bone mass exhibited strong positive correlations with performance prediction, emphasizing their significance. This study highlights ML techniques' potential, particularly random forest regression, in improving talent identification and performance prediction in college-level female volleyball players in India. Outline the importance of sports encyclopedias as a form of spreading and promoting a healthy lifestyle and popularizing high-achieving sports for the social and humanitarian development of Ukraine. Material and methods In the article, the primary used research methods are overview and descriptive analysis (an overview of academic publications indexed in Scopus, PubMed, Google Scholar, and National Library of Ukraine, as well as data on Ukrainian encyclopedias from the Corpus of Ukrainian Encyclopedias). This is a basis for descriptive analysis the capability of sports activities to improve the physical and mental (emotional, moral-volitional) resilience of the Ukraine's population during wartime difficulty, the overall health level of the nation, and the demographic and accordingly economic situation in the country. Additionally, based on descriptive analysis, the potential of encyclopedias on sports and athletes in promoting a healthy lifestyle and physical activities among the population is examined). Reflection method is also used: authors offer a vision of how encyclopedic knowledge about sports and athletes should be structured to help improve the nation's health, demographic, and economic situations, and thus resistance to Russian aggression). Results The war in Ukraine significantly damages the population's health, adversely affecting the demographic and economic situation in the country. As a result, state humanitarian policy must focus on finding ways to counter these threats and emerging from this crisis. The article emphasizes that targeted, systematic development of sports and physical culture should be among the state policy priorities, as sports and physical activities improve population health. Authors show that promoting physical culture and a healthy lifestyle is crucial in this process, necessitating the studying of various information sources that can disseminate sports relevant knowledge and identifying the most effective ones. Conclusions Based on extensive justifications, the article proposes the idea of creating a Ukrainian sports encyclopedia as a means of promoting a healthy lifestyle among the Ukrainians, particularly essential in the post-war period. This would contribute to Ukraine's restoration by improving its demographic, socio-economic situation, and encouraging the return of Ukrainian refugees. The potential of a sports encyclopedia lies in highlighting and popularizing distinguished athletes who have achieved success and are respected globally, serving as role models, especially for the young generation of the country. The encyclopedic promotion of famous Ukrainian athletes is considered an effective mechanism for fostering a healthy lifestyle and patriotic feelings among Ukrainian citizens. Background: Most human movements are supported by its functional capabilities of the anaerobic type, which is dominated by submaximal and maximal sports activities performed in a short time. Functional capabilities of the anaerobic type of man participate in most of his movement activities. Conditioned on adequate and extremely good interaction and functioning of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, morphological status, metabolic processes, muscle structure, nutritional status, physical activity, etc. Purpose: The research was conducted in the conditions of the so-called field testing with the primary goal of assessing the acute state of anaerobic abilities of physical and sports students, by calculating the fatigue index (FI). Methods: The sample included 80 students of Physical and Sports Education, different geographical regions, average weight 77.88±8.49kg, age 20-23 years. The Running Anaerobic Sprint Test (RAST) was used to assess FI, and the basic statistical parameters were calculated. Results: The average value of the student’s leg power is 573.89 watts (378.42 watts vs. 817.99watts), and the recorded average (FI) of 8.35 watts/sec (3.97watts/sec. vs. 16.93watts/sec.). Conclusions: The obtained results confirmed the average values of anaerobic capacity which are suitable for the examined population of subjects, while the maximal the value of FI suggests a weaker state of the anaerobic capacity of the individuals (less tolerance to lactates). The dynamic stability problem of a Timoshenko beam supported by a generalized Pasternak-type viscoelastic foundation subjected to compressive axial loading, where rotary inertia is neglected, is investigated. Each axial force consists of a constant part and a time-dependent stochastic function. By using the direct Liapunov method, bounds of the almost sure asymptotic stability of a beam as a function of viscous damping coefficient, variance of the stochastic force, shear correction factor, parameters of Pasternak foundation, and intensity of the deterministic component of axial loading are obtained. With the aim of justifying the use of the direct Liapunov method analytical results are firstly compared with numerically obtained results using Monte Carlo simulation method. Numerical calculations are further performed for the Gaussian process with a zero mean as well as a harmonic process with random phase. The main purpose of the paper is to point at significance damping parameter of foundation on dynamic stability of the structure. The aim of the research was to assess the level of agility of female students, i.e. the correlation between speed and the results of the IAT. The research included 21 female students, who at the time of measurement corresponded to the 3rd year of study, aged 20-22 years. The IAT was used to assess motor agility based on the average test results (sec.) and the average movement speed during the test (m/s). The average IAT result achieved is 19.58 sec. with an average speed of 3.32 m/s. As many as 86 % of respondents had an average score (18.0-21.7 sec). The obtained results confirmed a high inverse correlation between the success of the IAT results and the speed of the IAT performance (r = -0.985; p < 0.05). The fact that the analyzed population of physical education and sports (PES) students is mainly characterized by good physical condition, significantly better results are expected (reference above average value). The upgrading of this motor area of agility is possible in the moments of solving a specific motor task, in the course of applied adequate exercise or some sports activities. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The problem of the use of banned substances (doping) in sport has been, is and will be an ongoing problem that undermines the very spirit of sport, beauty and pleasure, and very often the health of athletes. Therefore, it is essential to solve this problem, if possible, permanently, although it is sometimes simply impossible to do. It is this research that is designed to gain a real insight, express attitudes and perceptions of students on the use of doping in sport that is the information on this sports phenomenon of the modern age. The study included a total of 141 high school students (Gymnasium and Touristic technicians) from Pale, male, aged 15-19 +/- 0.5 years. The main objective of the study was to test the level of knowledge and identify students' attitudes about the use of prohibited substances in sport. To collect the necessary information has been used an anonymous questionnaire with 13 clearly defined questions (11 closed questions and two open-ended questions) that are related to specific knowledge, attitudes about doping in sport. The obtained results are relevant to the global indicator of awareness, knowledge and attitudes of the population of high school students about the problem of today's modern sport which is called doping. As many as 75% of the students the athletics, cycling and sports games marked as sports that are most marked by doping scandals, and 56% were tennis, golf games stated as a sport with the least number of doping scandals.

Coordination plays an important role in solving complex physical activities which arise during a biathlon race. We determined the level of coordination skills by measuring the time of a simple reaction to visual stimulus at rest by measuring the time response of complex reaction to visual stimuli by measuring the effect of visual-motor coordination (part of orientation skills - test Piórkowski) and by measuring the effect of visual-motor coordination (part of orientation skills - test Krzyżowy). In addition, we conducted a test of the simple and complex reaction after a short-term and long-term exercise. Among the tested sportswomen, the best results, both at rest and after exercise, have achieved twos Slovak athletes. Both results were above-average and slightly above-average. In order to develop physical coordination, we recommend biathletes to execute: the already known workout in different environmental conditions, while practicing new coordination exercises especially systematics not focusing on their maximum improvement but to gain general skills for practice while implementing them in the first part of the training.

Motor skills are an essential segment of the anthropological premises of man and are often the subject of scientific research. Due to their complex structure is very often in studies of this segment have a different approach in defining a model that will serve as the basis for the selection and definition of manifest variables. Usually there is a phenomenological approach, but not rare studies that are based on a functional model of motor skills. This paper analyzes the area of motor skills of the population of students and athletes, youth ages with the aim of determining the difference in the space of the mechanism of central regulation. The study included 90 students who were involved in various sports teams and 90 athletes from four athletic club. Measured is 12 manifest variables from the space motor mechanism of central regulation. In analyzing the data, using t-test and canonical discriminant analysis were obtained statistically significant results (p
