13. Making Sense of Word Embeddings

Abstract

We present a simple yet effective approach for learning word sense embeddings. In contrast to existing techniques, which either directly learn sense representations from corpora or rely on sense inventories from lexical resources, our approach can induce a sense inventory from existing word embeddings via clustering of ego-networks of related words. An integrated WSD mechanism enables labeling of words in context with learned sense vectors, which gives rise to downstream applications. Experiments show that the performance of our method is comparable to state-of-the-art unsupervised WSD systems.

Abstract

For engineering software with formal correctness proofs it is crucial that proofs can be efficiently reused in case the software or its specification is changed. Unfortunately, in reality even slight changes in the code or its specification often result in disproportionate waste of verification effort: For instance, whenever a method's specification is modified and as a consequence the proof of its correctness breaks, all other proofs based on this specification break too. Abstract method calls is a recently proposed verification rule for method calls that allows for efficient systematic reuse of proofs. In this thesis, we implement, extend and evaluate this approach within the KeY verification system.

Abstract

Партнерские межфирменные отношения в сфере малого бизнеса выступают не только важным составным элементом предпринимательских действий, но и необходимым условием договорных отношений. Наиболее эффективным методом повышение конкурентоспособности, а также показателей эффективности для субъектов малого бизнеса на сегодняшний день можно достичь благодаря созданию межфирменных сетей на основе партнерских отношений. Цель данной работы состоит в изучении теоретических оснований партнерских отношений для моделирования сети в сфере малого бизнеса., Inter-firm partnerships in the field of small business are not only an important component of business activities, but also a necessary condition for contractual relations. The most effective method of improving competitiveness and efficiency indicators for small businesses today can be achieved through the creation of inter-firm networks based on partnerships. The purpose of this work is to study the theoretical foundations of partnerships for network modeling in the field of small business.

The rotation and translational motion of the samples with a magnetizable material alonga bottom of a vessel in a uniform applied rotating magnetic field are examined experimentally. Weconsider a magnetic fluid (MF) drop and a body with a magnetizable polymer (MP). The phenomenaof the change of the direction of the translation motion at some field frequency is observed only forthe MF drop.

41. New Complexes of Alkali-Metals as Precursors for MOCVD of Ferroelectric (K, Na)NbO3Thin Films

Abstract

Three new mixed ligand complexes of Na and K were synthesized and characterized. The thermal behavior of synthesized compounds was investigated by TGA in vacuum and mass spectrometry from Knudsen cell. Obtained compounds demonstrate sufficient volatility in vacuum and were tested as precursor for MOCVD deposition of KNbO3 films. Single phase highly oriented films were obtained.

42. Late Effects of Low Level Irradiation

Abstract

The effect of low level irradiation may be delayed for many generations in HeLa cells. When the progeny of irradiated cells was seeded 15-30 generations after irradiation (0.1-0.5 Gy 60Co ? rays, 0.3 Gy.min-1; or in the Chernobyl zone 0.1-0.5 Gy, 0.003-0.005 Gy.h-1) they formed clones with a reduced number of cells. There are giant cells and cells with micronuclei in such clones. Progeny of surviving HeLa cells showed a reduced cloning efficiency and enhanced radiosensitivity. These results suggest that residual damage may by carried by surviving progeny over many generations and expressed as changes which lead to delayed reproductive death.
