Abstract

Due to the complex background, small and dense targets, and large scale continuous changes in remote sensing images, universal object detectors are difficult to adapt well, resulting in poor detection performance. To address the above issues, a multi-branch feature mapping based remote sensing image object detection algorithm is proposed based on the YOLOv5s model. Firstly, a RepVGG module combined with gated channel transformation is designed using structural reparameterization technology. Its series structure is used to replace the C3 module of the original backbone network, aggregating global contextual information and enhancing feature expression and extraction capabilities. Secondly, the adaptive exponential weighted pooling method and the sampling method of inverse process reconstruction feature fusion network are used to maximize the retention of feature information and improve the detection performance of smaller targets. Finally, the combination of EIoU and Focal Loss is introduced as the loss function of the model to optimize the regression rate of the prediction box and the loss weight distribution of difficult and easy samples, further improving the positioning accuracy. The experimental results on the DIOR and NWPU VHR-10 datasets show that the average accuracy of the proposed algorithm reaches 92.2% and 92.5%, respectively, which is 3.5 percentage points and 5.6 percentage points higher than YOLOv5s, achieving better detection performance. At the same time, the real-time performance also meets the requirements of remote sensing image object detection in actual scenes.

15. Generalized Pedestrian Re-Identification Method Based on Graph Sampling.

Abstract

Recent study has shown that deep feature matching methods in metric learning, combined with large-scale and diverse training data, can significantly enhance the generalization ability of person re-identification. However, many existing methods generate large memory and computational costs, such as classification parameters or class memory learning. To address these issues, a new generalization person re-identification method based on correlation graph sampler(CGS) is proposed. The basic idea of CGS is to construct a nearest neighbor relationship graph for all classes using local sensitive Hashing (LSH) and feature metrics at the beginning of training. This ensures that each small batch of training samples is composed of randomly selected base classes and near-neighboring classes that are similar to the base classes to provide informative and challenging learning examples and improve the discriminative learning ability of person re-identification models. The sampling principle of CGS is influenced by the quality of features extracted by the backbone network, and therefore, the sampling ability of CGS can be enhanced with the training of the backbone network and has learnability. Through cross-evaluation of this method on large-scale datasets(including CUHK03, Market-1501, and MSMT17), extensive experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of this method and showcase its potential in person re-identification applications. Abstract

In real sequence pattern mining scenarios, the interval information between two item sets is very important. However, although existing algorithms can effectively mine frequent subsequence sets, the interval information is ignored. This paper aims to mine sequential patterns with multidimensional interval items in sequence databases. In order to address this problem, this paper defines and specifies the interval event problem in the sequential pattern mining task. Then, the interval event items framework is proposed to handle the multidimensional interval event items. Moreover, the MII-Prefixspan algorithm is introduced for the sequential pattern with multidimensional interval event items mining tasks. This algorithm adds the processing of interval event items in the mining process. We can get richer and more in line with actual needs information from mined sequence patterns through these methods. This scheme is applied to the actual website behaviour analysis task to obtain more valuable information for web optimization and provide more valuable sequence pattern information for practical problems. This work also opens a new pathway toward more efficient sequential pattern mining tasks.

Abstract

In this study, alcalase and neutrase were used in combination to prepare collagen peptides with high calcium binding ability. The optimal conditions for the preparation of peptide-calcium chelate (mass ratio of peptide/calcium of 4.5:1 for 40 min at 50 °C and pH 9) were determined by response surface methodology (RSM), under which a calcium chelating rate of 78.38% was obtained. The results of Ultraviolet–Visible (UV–Vis), fluorescence and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectra synthetically indicated that calcium could be chelated by carboxyl oxygen and amino nitrogen atoms of collagen peptides, thus forming peptide-calcium chelate. The chelate was stable at various temperatures and pH values, and exhibited excellent stability in the gastrointestinal environment, which could promote calcium absorption in human gastrointestinal tract. Moreover, Caco-2 cell monolayer model was used to investigate the effect of peptide-calcium chelate on promoting calcium absorption. Results showed that peptide-calcium chelate could significantly improve calcium transport in Caco-2 cell monolayer and reverse the inhibition of calcium absorption by phosphate and phytate. The findings provide a scientific basis for developing new calcium supplements and the high-value utilization of pig bone.
