The manufacturing industry contains a high volume of knowhow and of high value, much of it being held by key persons in the company. The passing of this know-how is the basis of manufacturing ontology. Among other methods like advanced filtering and algorithm based decision making, one way of handling the manufacturing ontology is via templates. The current paper tackles this approach and highlights the advantages concluding with some recommendations.

Steganography is a method of hiding secret information into an innocent looking container. Although a large number of steganography techniques have been proposed, there is a constant need for new variants because they have a relatively short lifespan, being defeated by steganalysis techniques. This article explores the possibilities of eliminating the main drawback of LSB steganography: weakness. The problem is solved by rearranging the image pixels and by applying a compensation technique that preserves their statistical properties. The use of ontologies in engineering knowledge representation has been accelerated in recent years by the need to integrate them in collaborative development platforms. New product development requires the creation and evaluation of product development strategy, the organization and product concept generation, designing, testing and validation of product design, its manufacture, marketing and ensuring the product warranty and post-warranty service. Due to the existence of mechanisms for describing the concepts and their characteristics, ontologies offer many of the features that can support a science from a descriptive viewpoint and beyond. The work presented here aims at designing a generic ontological model of the product structuring models' domain, suitable to be easily extended to cover the many sub-domains of product development, thus facilitating the design of such application ontologies in the future, and their implementation in CAx platforms and data management systems. As a first step, the article presents the problem as a whole, followed by a brief presentation of ontological engineering concepts, and finally it presents an ontology case study for modeling wastewater centrifugal decanting equipment. Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) is the most widely used network modeling method used to track the planning activities required to complete large-scale projects. This technique has the potential to reduce the time and costs required to complete a project. Unlike classical PERT, fuzzy sets theory allows both the uncertain demand and the subjective judgment of the decision maker. The main objective of this article is the presentation of theoretical aspects of the two methods of project network analysis. Uncertainity is a major problem in Operations Research, and network planning with uncertain activity durations is typically an area where stochastic and fuzzy concepts are fundamentals.
