The lignocellulosic materials can be employed in the manufacturing of materials compound by a polymeric matrix due to its characteristics and peculiarities. Especially, to come from a natural sustainable resource, abundant and local character, with a low environmental impact and also low cost. In the present it is possible to find in the market industrial solutions, however, usually these materials come of byproducts generated in wood transformation industry and that enter in competence with other industry process like wood board manufacturing. Nevertheless, these materials can also be obtained from the valorisation of different residues generated in local agroforestry crops, which besides it have a low level of exploitation. They are evaluated to the Galicia Euroregion North Portugal, the different natural sources of these materials and its analysed the availability that exists and the technology available to its collection. They are analysed too, the different phases and processes required to do the preparation of these materials to its use in injection, extrusion and rotomolding composites and, especially, in relation to material moisture content and its morphological characteristics. In most of the cases, these residues present difficulties to be valorised so that, in many cases it is resorted to its direct burning, generating environmental problems. Even though, the most part of these materials are susceptibles too to be energy valorised, it is possible to combine in the same industrial process the combined production of natural fibres and material to energy production.&nbsp

La enseñanza de las matemáticas es un fenómeno complejo por naturaleza y que la pandemia COVID-19 ha acrecentado. Las características de clases realizadas en confinamiento y la priorización curricular realizada por el Ministerio de Educación de Chile hacen necesario herramientas que permitan evaluar la enseñanza durante este tiempo con el fin de fortalecer los aprendizajes de los estudiantes. A través de una revisión de las dimensiones que caracterizan la calidad de la enseñanza de las matemáticas. Identificamos cuatro elementos comunes (matemáticas usadas en la clase, metas, clases y evaluación). La descripción de estos elementos mediante preguntas supone un insumo para evaluar las clases de matemáticas realizadas en este año académico tan particular. Concluimos que las características del sistema educativo chileno hacen necesario que la evaluación de las clases de matemáticas además sea realizada desde la perspectiva de cómo el mismo sistema educativo proveyó las condiciones a los profesores para realizar una enseñanza de calidad. The teaching of mathematics is a complex phenomenon by nature and one that the COVID-19 pandemic has increased. Classes’ features or the characteristics of classes held in confinement and the curricular prioritization carried out by the Ministry of Education, make necessary tools that allow evaluating teaching during this time, to improve, strengthen the learning of students. Through a review of the dimensions that characterize the quality of mathematics teaching, we identified four common elements (math used in class, goals, classes, and assessment). The description of these elements through questions is an input to evaluate the mathematics classes carried out in this very particular academic year. We conclude that the characteristics of the Chilean educational system make it necessary for the evaluation of mathematics classes to also be carried out from the perspective of how the educational system itself provided the conditions for teachers to carry out the quality teaching. L’enseignement des mathématiques est un phénomène complexe par nature et que la pandémie COVID-19 a augmenté. Les caractéristiques des classes tenues en confinement et la priorisation des programmes effectuée par le Ministère de l’Éducation, rendent les outils nécessaires qui permettent d’évaluer l’enseignement pendant cette période, afin d’améliorer, de renforcer l’apprentissage des élèves. En examinant les dimensions qui caractérisent la qualité de l’enseignement des mathématiques, nous avons identifié quatre éléments communs (mathématiques utilisées en classe, objectifs, classes et évaluation). La description de ces éléments à travers des questions est une entrée pour évaluer les cours de mathématiques dispensés dans cette année académique très particulière. Nous concluons que les caractéristiques du système éducatif chilien rendent nécessaire l’évaluation des cours de mathématiques aussi du point de vue de la manière dont le système éducatif lui-même a fourni les conditions pour que les enseignants puissent dispenser un enseignement de qualité.

En este libro se presentan un conjunto de ensayos que discuten varios aspectos centrales a la relación entre pandemia y educación, que se inician en una mirada desde lo macro, examinando la dimensión política y la educación.

The Rio de la Plata region comprises central Argentina, Uruguay, and southern Brazil. Modern agriculture developed around 1900 with recent decades being characterized by the advance of cropping areas over native grasslands. Highly specialized agriculture has decoupled crop and livestock production but has succeeded in intensifying yields. However, significant losses of ecosystem services have been reported. Thus, questions have been raised on the sustainability of this pathway. A glance at world regions that have experienced similar trends suggests that an urgent course correction is needed. A major concern has been the lack of diversity in regions with highly specialized agriculture, promoting renewed interest in integrated crop-livestock systems (ICLS), not only because ICLS are more diverse than specialized systems, but also because they are rare examples of reconciliation between agroecosystemintensification and environmental quality. Consequently, this paper discusses alternatives to redesign multifunctional landscapes based on ICLS. Recent data provide evidence that recoupling crop and animal production increases the resilience of nutrient cycling functions and economic indicators to external stressors, enabling these systems to face climate-market uncertainty and reconcile food production with the provision of diverse ecosystem services. Finally, these concepts are exemplified in case studies where this perspective hasbeen successfully applied.

1AbstractThe Early Permian mesosaurs are the oldest known primarily aquatic amniotes. Despite the interest that they have generated over time, their affinities remain controversial. Recently, two hypotheses have been supported, in which mesosaurs are either the sister-group of all other sauropsids, or the sister-group of other parareptiles. We recently upheld the former hypothesis, but in the latest study on mesosaur affinities, MacDougall et al. published a study highly critical of our work, while upholding the hypothesis that mesosaurs are basal parareptiles. We expect that the debate about mesosaur affinities will continue in the foreseeable future, but we wish to respond to the two central comments published by MacDougall et al. in 2018, who argue that variability in the temporal fenestration of early sauropsids, combined with the omission of several recently-described parareptile taxa, explain the differences in topologies between their study and ours. Reanalyzing our data matrix and theirs without characters linked with temporal fenestration, and removing from their matrix the parareptile taxa that they added (and that we omitted) does not alter the resulting topologies. Thus, their main conclusions are false; the differences in taxonomic position of mesosaurs must result from character choice and scoring differences.

En un debate multidisciplinar, y tras revisar la evidencia disponible así como la experiencia de los expertos, la IV Mesa de Trabajo Baxter-SENPE establece las indicaciones y pautas de manejo de los micronutrientes (vitaminas hidrosolubles y liposolubles y oligoelementos o elementos traza) en la Nutrición Parenteral. Se concluye en la conveniencia del aporte diario de micronutrientes contemplándose diferentes posibilidades en lo que respecta a dosis por exceso y defecto, sistemas de administración, interacciones, monitorización y coste-efectividad. At a multidisciplinary debate, and after reviewing the evidence available as well as experts' opinion, the IV Baxter-SENPE Working Panel established the indications and managemente guidelines for micronutrients (water-soluble and fat-soluble vitamins, and oligoelements or trace elements) in parenteral nutrition. It was concluded about the convenience of daily intake of micronutrients with diferent options regarding deficiente or excessive dosages, administration systems, interactions, monitoring, and cots-effectiveness.

En el VIº Foro de Debate Abbott-SENPE se establece una discusión multidisciplinar y multiprofesional para buscar el o los modelos de gestión clínica que consideramos más adecuados para la Unidades de Nutrición Clínica y Dietética (UNCyD) en España. Se valoran los puntos débiles y fuertes así como las oportunidades de los actuales sistemas y se concluye en la observación de una cierta disparidad vinculada no solo a las comunidades autónomas sino también a los diferentes tipos de hospital. Se propone, desde SENPE, la creación de un grupo de trabajo que ayude a la normalización de los modelos y a potenciar la cultura del Cuadro de Mandos Integral y de Gestión del Cambio. At the 6th Abbott-SENPE Debate Forum a multidisciplinary and multiprofessional discussion was established in order to seek for the model or the models of clinical management most appropriate for Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics Units (CNAD) in Spain. The weaknesses and strengths as well as opportunities for the current systems were assessed concluding that a certain degree of disparity was observed not only due to regional differences but also to different hospital types. It was proposed, from SENPE, the creation of a working group helping to standardize the models and promote the culture of Integral Control and Change Management.

El IV Foro de Debate SENPE valora desde un punto de vista multidisciplinar y multiprofesional la problemática de la investigación clínica en nutrición en España centrándose, debido a la falta de legislación, en la nutrición enteral. Se concluye en el compromiso de la SENPE en la potenciación de la calidad, en la formación y facilitación de la investigación, en una mayor ayuda a los grupos investigadores emergentes, en la búsqueda de financiación y en una puntual información sobre las diferentes convocatorias de los sistemas públicos y sobre los centros de referencia. The IV Debate Forum of the SENPE values from a multidisciplinary and multi-professional perspective the questions on clinical research in nutrition in Spain, focusing on enteral nutrition due to the lack of legislation on this issue. The concluding remarks point out the SENPE commitment with promoting quality, education and facilitation of research, greater help to emergent groups, looking for financial support, and timely information on the several summons from public systems and reference centers.

Introduccion. En la actualidad, exinten claras evidencias de la importancia de la respuesta inflamatoria que aparece despues de un ictus. Tanto la lesion cerebral traumatica como la isquemica se caracterizan por inflamacion local y cambios en las concentraciones de citocinas en los liquidos corporales del cuerpo humano. Sin embargo, muy pocos estudios han dirigido su atencion a establecer el papel y la relacion entre ictus hemorragico e inflamacion. Desarrollo. Inmediatamente despues del sangrado parenquimatoso cerebral, mediadores inflamatorios provenientes del torrente sanguineo alcanzan el cerebro e inducen una respuesta inflamatoria, sin olvidar que las celulas cerebrales por si mismas, son capaces de sintetizar tales agentes. Mas aun, los marcadores de inflamacion contribuyen al desencadenamiento de una respuesta inflamatoria sistemica. Entre dichos marcadores, ha recibido una atencion especial la proteina C reactiva (PCR). Niveles sericos elevados de PCR, reactante de fase aguda del proceso inflamatorio se presentan en individuos con riesgo de padecer episodios cardiovasculares o cerebrovasculares y, ademas, predicen el resultado final. Conclusion. Presentamos las escasas evidencias disponibles acerca de la relacion entre inflamacion y hemorragia intracerebral.
