Forecasting of renewable energy generation is a mature R&D area, also with a lot of operational experience and commercial offering. As the share of renewable energy generation in the energy mix increases, in parallel to a liberalization of electricity markets, new needs for forecasting have appeared. Throughout the last few decades, emphasis was placed on deterministic and probabilistic forecasting, extremes, ramps, etc. As of today, we argue that new developments and proposals for forecast products should happen within a problem-oriented approach: there, forecast products are at the interface between forecasters and forecast users, and driven by the decision problem at hand. In this report, we review the current evolution in market, operations, etc. that call for new forecast products. We also look at new views coming from the R&D side, with the aim to introduce new forecast products and show their interest for forecast users. Eventually, we argue that, beyond forecast products only, there are also a number of new business models of relevance being developed, e.g. related to collaborative analytics and data markets.

International audience; This paper presents the solutions on renewable energy forecasting proposed by the Horizon2020 Project Smart4RES. The ambition of the project is twofold: (1) increase substantially the performance of short-term forecasting models of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) production and associated weather forecasting and (2) optimize decisions subject to RES uncertainty in power systems and electricity markets. Developments are based on latest advances in meteorology and original use of data science (combination of multiple data sources, data-driven approaches for trading and grid management). Finally, solutions such as flexibility forecast of distributed resources and data markets are oriented towards value for power system stakeholders. Although the project covers a broad scope, in this paper we focus on a selection of use cases that concern the integration of renewables in distribution grids.

In this paper, we introduce a family of hyper-elliptic curves. For this family we compute the matrix of the divided Frobenius and we obtain general formulas. We use a recent results of Huyghe-Wach : the divided Frobenius coincides with the morphism built by Deligne-Illusie in 1987.; Dans cet article nous présentons une famille de courbes hyper-elliptiques pour lesquels nous effectuons le calcul de la matrice du Frobenius divisé, calcul pour lequel nous obtenons des formules générales. We consider X some separable covering with two open set of the projective line on a finite field k of caracteristic p>0 and we give an explicit computation of the matrix of the divided Frobenius on the first de Rham cohomology space of X_k the special fiber of X. We also explain an algorithmic process to get the Jordan-Hölder decomposition of the φ-module associated to this matrix., Dans cette thèse, on considère des revêtements séparables à deux ouverts de la droite projective sur un corps fini k de caractéristique p>0 et on donne un calcul explicite de la matrice du Frobenius divisé sur le premier espace de cohomologie de Rham de X_k, fibre spéciale du revêtement X étudié. On fournit également un procédé algorithmique permettant d'obtenir la décomposition de Jordan-Hölder du φ-module filtré associé à cette matrice.
