This paper designs and develops a new type of frame-foot wall-climbing robot structure. According to the bionic principle, a new parallel telescopic leg structure is proposed, and the 3D design of the overall structure of the wall-climbing robot is completed. Secondly, the kinematics analysis of the robot is carried out, and the forward and inverse solution models of the leg structure position are completed to verify the feasibility of the leg structure stability. Based on the polynomial motion equations, the robot motion planning and gait design are established, and the speed and acceleration change graphs of the leg structure slider are obtained, which avoids the rigid impact between the parts, and realizes the alternate adsorption and continuous movement of the robot legs, which the rationality of the legs structure design and the stability of the movement are verified. Through simulation and experimental results, it is shown that during the robot’s movement, the leg structure can adjust the step distance and step height according to obstacles, so as to achieve the expected obstacle crossing goal. The leg structure is adjusted according to the working environment to ensure that the fuselage and the working surface are always kept parallel to improve the stability of the overall structure.

A metal-insulator-metal (MIM) waveguide consisting of two stub resonators and a ring resonator is proposed, which can be used as refractive index sensor and stop-band filter at the same time. The transmission characteristics of the MIM waveguide structure is studied by the finite element method (FEM). The simulation results show that the typical Fano profile and multiple Fano resonances can be achieved. According to the analysis, the range of stop-band and the multiple Fano resonance positions can be adjusted flexibly and independently by adjusting the aggregate parameters of the MIM waveguide structure. Moreover, it is also found that the two Fano resonances at both ends of the stop band can be determined by the two stubs, and the other two Fano resonances are regulated by the ring resonator. In addition, the spectral position of multi-Fano resonances is highly sensitive to the radius of the ring resonator and the refractive index of the filled medium. The maximum sensitivity and the figure of merit (FOM) of the MIM waveguide structure are 1650 nm/RIU and 117.8 in magnitude, respectively. These results provide a reference for implementing high-sensitivity sensors and large-bandwidth stop-band filter in MIM waveguide coupling systems based on multi-Fano resonance effect.

Surface plasmon coupled emission (SPCE) is a new analytical technique that provides increased and directional radiation based on the near-field interaction between fluorophores and surface plasmons but suffers from the limitation of insufficient sensitivity. The assembly of hollow-porous plasmonic nanoparticles could be the qualified candidate. After the introduction of gold nanocages (AuNCs), fluorescence signal enhancement was realized by factors over 150 and 600 compared with the normal SPCE and free space emission, respectively, with a fluorophore layer thickness of approximately 10 nm; hence, the unique enhancement of SPCE by the AuNCs effectively overcomes the signal quenching induced by resonance energy transfer (in normal SPCE). This enhancement was proven to be triggered by the superior wavelength match, the enhanced electromagnetic field, and new radiation channel and process induced by the AuNC assembly, which provides an opportunity to increase the detection sensitivity and establish an optimal plasmonic enhancement system. The amplified SPCE system was employed for multiwavelength simultaneous enhancement detection through the assembly of mixed hollow nanoparticles (AuNCs and gold nanoshells), which could broaden the application of SPCE in simultaneous sensing and imaging for multianalytes.

Objective To explore the hemostatic effect of intra‐articular administration of tranexamic acid (TXA) combined with knee flexion in total knee arthroplasty (TKA). Methods This randomized controlled trial was conducted at the Third Affiliated Hospital of Southern Medical University (Guangzhou, China) from January 2017 to February 2018. The patients were randomized 1:1 to the TXA group (TXA 500 mg into the joint after closure, knee, and hip flexed at 45° for 4 h) or the control group (physiological saline, with limb fully extended). The primary endpoint was postoperative hemoglobin reduction. The postoperative levels of hemoglobin were measured at four time points: 6 h after operation, and on the first, second, and third postoperative days. Calculated blood loss (CBL) at 3 days, transfusion rate, range of motion (ROM), VAS pain score, and knee circumference increment were the secondary endpoints. Ninety‐four (47/group) patients were analyzed. Results Postoperatively, there were statistically significant differences between the TXA and control groups in CBL (791 ± 212 mL vs 1175 ± 273 mL, P, Intra‐articular injection of TXA combined with knee and hip flexion at 45° can effectively attenuate CBL and hemoglobin reduction during primary TKA, without an additional adverse event.

Metastasis is the primary cause of cancer-related mortality in colorectal cancer (CRC) patients. How to improve therapeutic options for patients with metastatic CRC is the core question for CRC treatment. However, the complexity and diversity of stromal context of the tumor microenvironment (TME) in liver metastases of CRC have not been fully understood, and the influence of stromal cells on response to chemotherapy is unclear. Here we performed an in-depth analysis of the transcriptional landscape of primary CRC, matched liver metastases and blood at single-cell resolution, and a systematic examination of transcriptional changes and phenotypic alterations of the TME in response to preoperative chemotherapy (PC). Based on 111,292 single-cell transcriptomes, our study reveals that TME of treatment-naïve tumors is characterized by the higher abundance of less-activated B cells and higher heterogeneity of tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs). By contrast, in tumors treated with PC, we found activation of B cells, lower diversity of TAMs with immature and less activated phenotype, lower abundance of both dysfunctional T cells and ECM-remodeling cancer-associated fibroblasts, and an accumulation of myofibroblasts. Our study provides a foundation for future investigation of the cellular mechanisms underlying liver metastasis of CRC and its response to PC, and opens up new possibilities for the development of therapeutic strategies for CRC.

The bacterial microbiota in the skin and intestine of patients with psoriasis were different compared with that of healthy individuals. However, the presence of a distinct blood microbiome in patients with psoriasis is yet to be investigated. In this study, we investigated the differences in bacterial communities in plasma-derived extracellular vesicles (EVs) between patients with moderate to severe psoriasis (PSOs) and healthy controls (HCs). The plasma EVs from the PSO (PASI &gt, 10) (n = 20) and HC (n = 8) groups were obtained via a series of centrifugations, and patterns were examined and confirmed using transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and EV-specific markers. The taxonomic composition of the microbiota was determined by using full-length 16S ribosomal RNA gene sequencing. The PSO group had lower bacterial diversity and richness compared with HC group. Principal coordinate analysis (PCoA)-based clustering was used to assess diversity and validated dysbiosis for both groups. Differences at the level of amplicon sequence variant (ASV) were observed, suggesting alterations in specific ASVs according to health conditions. The HC group had higher levels of the phylum Firmicutes and Fusobacteria than in the PSO group. The order Lactobacillales, family Brucellaceae, genera Streptococcus, and species Kingella oralis and Aquabacterium parvum were highly abundant in the HC group compared with the PSO group. Conversely, the order Bacillales and the genera Staphylococcus and Sphihgomonas, as well as Ralstonia insidiosa, were more abundant in the PSO group. We further predicted the microbiota functional capacities, which revealed significant differences between the PSO and HC groups. In addition to previous studies on microbiome changes in the skin and gut, we demonstrated compositional differences in the microbe-derived EVs in the plasma of PSO patients. Plasma EVs could be an indicator for assessing the composition of the microbiome of PSO patients.

In order to improve the timeliness and accuracy of the automatic detection and recognition of sunflower leaf diseases in Inner Mongolia, this study used an improved Yolov4 model to detect and recognize the three diseases of sunflower leaf verticillium wilt, powdery mildew and rust. First, use the K-means clustering algorithm to cluster sunflower disease samples to generate a new anchor box size, making the anchor box of the Yolov4 network model more suitable for the detection of smaller target lesions on sunflower leaves; secondly, define the three network functions of MobileNetV1, MobileNetV2 and MobileNetV3, obtain three effective feature layers corresponding to each MobileNet network, and use these three effective feature layers to replace the effective feature layer of the original Yolov4 backbone network CSP-Darknet53 as the backbone feature extraction network. The experimental results show that the accuracy and recall of the improved method proposed in this paper are significantly improved compared with the original Yolov4 model. Therefore, the deep learning model trained by the improved Yolov4 algorithm has better robustness and is more suitable for sunflower leaf disease detection.

In this paper, we argued that the classical explanation to the formation of trigonal planar coordination of the center N and O atoms in N(SiR3)3 and [O(SiR3)3]+ by forming 4-center 2-electron conjugated d-pπ bond was questionable, since it could not correctly predict the configurations of P(SiR3)3 and [S(SiR3)3]+. We found that the trigonal planar configuration of the center N and O atoms was strongly correlated to the greater difference between the electronic negativities of the center atom N/O, and the around Si atoms. We proposed that repulsive interactions among the three positive charged YR3 (Y=Si) moieties resulted in the trigonal planar configuration of the center N and O atoms. This proposal was supported by the predicted trigonal planar configurations of model species [F(BH3)3]− and [O(BH3)3]2−, in which the formation of 4-center 2-electron conjugated d-pπ bond was impossible.

The synthesis and characterization of a novel 6,13-dihydro-6,13-ethanopentacene-15,16-diimine palladium(II) complex are described. The effect of the backbone framework of the α-diimine metal catalyst on the polymerization reaction of norbornene and 1-octene is investigated. Compared to the 9,10-dihydro-9,10-ethanoanthracene-11,12-diimine palladium(II) complex (C1), the 6,13-dihydro-6,13-ethanopentacene-15,16-diimine palladium(II) complex (C2) with a polycyclic aromatic system on the backbone exhibits relatively high activities and leads to high molecular weights as well as narrow molecular weight distributions depending on the variation in feed ratios for copolymerization of norbornene and 1-octene. Moreover, the copolymers obtained using the 6,13-dihydro-6,13-ethanopentacene-15,16-diimine palladium(II) complex (C2) with large steric hindrance show high thermal stability and high glass transition temperatures.

Background: Tumor microenvironment (TME) significantly affects colorectal cancer (CRC) progression and therapeutic efficacy, particularly the infiltrating stromal components. This study aimed to profile the TME composition of tumor tissue and identify TME-related, especially stroma-related genes having prognosis value in CRC patients. Materials and Methods: We used ESTIMATE algorithm to assess stromal/immune component and divided 524 CRC cases of public dataset into high- and low-score groups. We analyzed effect of the score on prognosis and extracted the differential expression genes (DEGs) between groups, which were stromal- and/or immune-related genes, and performed prognostic investigation of the DEGs. Results: Higher stromal score was correlated with poor survival, whereas immune score was the opposite. By comparing global gene expression of cases with high vs. low stromal/immune scores, we extracted 474 stroma-related genes, 76 immune-related genes, and 498 intersection genes, which were explored by function enrichment and survival analysis. We identified the expression of five stroma-related genes (including ITGA7, PTPN14, SCG2, TNS1, and GRP) significantly associated with poorer survival, which were validated in the other two independent CRC cohorts. Conclusion: These results presented a comprehensive understanding of TME components and identified five stroma-related genes that predict poor outcomes in CRC patients.

Hydrofoils are approved of having the ability to help the propulsion of ships, and have been applied to many ships as an auxiliary propulsion system. However, in this paper, a novel unmanned catamaran ship completely driven by hydrofoils is proposed, which could navigate in the sea for a very long time at low speed as a mobile ocean observation platform. The hydrodynamics of this ship is systematically investigated through numerical simulations. First, the potential theory and the CFD method based on FLUENT for ship motion analysis are introduced. Second, the validation of the two numerical methods is carried out by comparing the results of heave and pitch motions for the case of the unmanned ship without hydrofoils. Finally, the CFD model of this unmanned ship is established and analyzed, and the interactions between the ship and hydrofoils are considered. The effects of the hydrofoils on ship motion under different wave conditions with low forward speed are analyzed. The results show that the horizontally fixed hydrofoils can significantly reduce the ship’s heave and pitch motions within a certain encountered wavelength range. It indicates that this unmanned catamaran ship with the horizontally fixed hydrofoils has good seakeeping performance.

The 595-nm pulsed dye laser (PDL) has been used to treat vascular anomalies for about 30 years; however, there are insufficient data in Chinese patients concerning therapeutic efficacy, optimized parameters, and procedure techniques.To study the efficacy and relevant factors in PDL therapy for vascular anomalies in Chinese patients.We enrolled 431 patients with 8 different vascular anomalies and no previous treatment in this retrospective study. A detailed classification of vascular anomalies and various parameters and techniques of PDL were studied. The clinical outcomes were analysed using the Investigator Global Assessment.Improvements were significantly correlated with infantile haemangioma (IH) subtypes (p 0.05). A significant correlation between efficacy and lesion colour, anatomical sites, and hypertrophic-type port-wine stain (PWS) was found (p 0.05). There was no significant correlation between efficacy and age or sex (p 0.05).PDL is an effective and safe therapeutic modality for managing vascular anomalies in Chinese patients. We determined that differentiating and identifying IH subtypes prior to treatment could be a useful parameter for predicting therapeutic results. Lesion colour, sites, and hypertrophic changes in PWS are relevant therapeutic factors. PDL parameters and techniques differ according to the various vascular anomalies to achieve optimal results.

A water-soluble fullerene-supported PdCl2 nanocatalyst [C60-TEGS/PdCl2] was prepared by coordination of water-soluble fullerene nanoparticles with palladium chloride. In pure water, the catalytic activity of nanocatalyst [C60-TEGS/PdCl2] for Suzuki–Miyaura cross-coupling reaction was investigated under different reaction conditions. The results showed that biphenyl compounds could be synthesized in high yields at room temperature using 0.01 mol% of [C60-TEGS/PdCl2] as the catalyst and K2CO3 as the base with the reaction time of 4 h. The catalyst was recycled five times, and the yield clearly did not decrease.

AIM: To observe the tear film and corneal endothelial cell density in cataract patients with high myopia.METHODS: From January 2016 to December 2016,38 cases(38 eyes)with high myopia and cataract were selected as study group, 24 males(24 eyes)and 14 females(14 eyes), average 65.2±2.37(60-72)years old. Age-related cataract patients without high myopia were as control group, 22 males(22 eyes)and 16 females(16 eyes), average 64.4±2.43(61-70)years old. The tear film and corneal endothelial cell density of the two groups were observed at 3, 7, 14d and 1mo after operations.RESULTS: Between the two groups of preoperative SⅠt, BUT, FL, subjective rating, corneal endothelial cell density comparison, there were no statistically significant difference(P>0.05). In the two groups at 3, 7, 14d and 1mo after operations, BUT, FL, corneal endothelial cell density, subjective score comparison, the difference had statistical significance(PPP>0.05). At postoperative 3, 7, 14d, 1mo, FL, subjective rating, corneal endothelial cell density of the two groups were compared with preoperative, the difference was statistically significant(PPP>0.05). BUT of high myopia patients with age-related cataract surgery, at 3, 7, 14d and 1mo after operations decreased than preoperative, the difference was statistically significant(PPP>0.05). CONCLUSION: Phacoemulsification cataract surgery in the treatment of high myopia cataract patients is safe and reliable, and less influence on tear film and corneal endothelial cell density.

AIM: To explore correlation, consistency and comfort between traditional tear film examination methods and Oculus Keratograph. METHODS: A retrospective study. Totally 101 cases(101 eyes)were diagnosed myopia and then accepted LASEK(laser epithelial keratomileusis). Non-invasive tear film break-up time(NIBUT), lower tear meniscus height(LTMH)were measured with Oculus Keratograph, fluorescein tear film break-up time(fl-BUT)and Schimer Ⅰ test(SⅠt)were performed on all cases. The correlations analysis between NIBUT and fl-BUT, LTMH and SⅠt were performed by Spearman rank correlation, consistency check between NIBUT and fl-BUT by Bland-Altman analysis. Visual analogue scale(VAS)was applied on evaluating the comfort of two kinds of examination methods. RESULTS: LTMH and SⅠt showed positive correlation(rs=0.346, P=0.001). NIBUT and fl-BUT showed positive correlation(rs=0.393, P=0.001), 95% consistency limits range -9.62 to 14.18 in Bland-Altman Figure. There was significant difference between VAS of NIBUT and VAS of fl-BUT(z=-2.324, P=0.020). There was significant difference between VAS of LTMH and VAS of SⅠt(z=-8.845,P=0.001).CONCLUSION: Oculus Keratograph can objectively measure NIBUT and LTMH, and was more comfortable than traditional tear film examination methods. It can effectively assess tear film function before corneal refractive surgery.

A series of bulky 9,10-dihydro-9,10-ethanoanthracene-11,12-diimine methyl palladium chloride complexes (C1—C6) with different steric and electronic substituent have been applied in Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions. The influence of these substituents was investigated by comparing the catalytic performance of the complexes in the cross-coupling reactions and it can be found that the complex with bulky and electron-donating substituent is facilitated for the cross-coupling reaction of aryl halides with arylboronic acids under ambient atmosphere. The most active complex shows a wide substrate scope in excellent yields using very low catalyst concentration of 0.01 mol%.

A green synthesis of variously substituted biphenyl carboxylic acids was achieved through Suzuki–Miyaura cross-coupling of a bromobenzoic acid with an aryl boronic acid using a water-soluble fullerene-supported PdCl2 nanocatalyst (C60-TEGs/PdCl2). Yields of more than 90% were obtained at room temperature in 4 h using 0.05 mol% catalyst and 2 equiv. K2CO3.

The ruthenium(II)-catalyzed α-alkylation reaction of arylmethyl nitriles (phenylacetonitrile) using alcohols (ethanol) in toluene has been extensively investigated by means of SMD-M06-2X/6-311G(d,p)-LANL2dz (LAnL2dz for Ru, 6-311G(d,p) for other atoms) calculations. Detailed mechanistic schemes have been proposed and discussed. The catalytically active Ru(II) complex was generated by the base-induced KCl elimination from the catalyst precursor [(PNPPh)RuHCl(CO)]. The overall Ru(II) catalytic cycle consists of three basic processes: (1) ethanol-to-aldehyde transformation catalyzed by the 16-electron unsaturated ruthenium pincer catalyst; (2) a 16-electron unsaturated ruthenium pincer catalyst catalyzed condensation reaction of arylmethyl nitrile with aldehyde, which leads to PhC(CN)=CHCH3; (3) hydrogenation of PhC(CN)=CHCH3, which leads to the formation of the α-alkylated arylmethyl nitrile product (PhCH(CH2CH3)CN). To explore the correlation between fetal nuchal fold (NF) thickening and fetal chromosomal abnormality.In total 919 pregnant women undergoing ultrasound examination were selected for interventional prenatal diagnosis in order to detect fetal chromosomal abnormality.The detection rate of chromosomal abnormality has significantly increased with NF thickness, advanced maternal age, presence of other ultrasound abnormalities (P0.05). Trisomy 21 was the most common abnormality, and there was a prepondance for male fetuses.Increased NF thickness is strongly associated with the risk of fetal chromosomal abnormalities, advanced maternal age and presence of additional ultrasound abnormalities.

Quantitative fluorescence polymerase chain reaction (QF-PCR) may be used as a mid-pregnancy test to confirm the diagnosis of common fetal aneuploidies, but its use is controversial. The present study aimed to determine the value of QF-PCR for diagnostic confirmation of karyotyping and the impact of parental origin and meiosis stage on the detected aneuploidy. The present prospective cohort study included pregnant women (age, 21–45 years; gestational age, 17–25 weeks) who consulted between May 2015 and December 2016. Women were screened and only consecutive high-risk individuals were included (n=428). QF-PCR analysis of amniocytes was performed. Karyotype analysis was considered the gold standard. Parental karyotyping was performed if the embryo exhibited any aneuploidy. GeneMapper 3.2 was used for data analysis. There were no false-negative or false-positive QF-PCR results, with 100% concordance with the karyotype. The aneuploidy distribution (n=105) was 68.6% for trisomy 21, 19.0% for trisomy 18, 7.6% for sex chromosome aneuploidy, 3.8% for trisomy 13 and 1.0% for 48,XXX,+18. Regarding trisomy 21, most cases (86.1%) were of maternal origin, 8.3% paternal and 6.5% undefined. Trisomy 18 was 88.2% maternal and 11.8% paternal. Maternal meiosis stage errors in trisomy 21 mainly occurred in meiosis I, while the origin of trisomy 18 exhibited similar proportions between meiosis I and II. The combination of non-invasive pre-natal testing and QF-PCR may become a rapid and effective method for fetal aneuploidy detection. QF-PCR may provide more genetic information for clinical diagnosis and treatment than karyotyping alone.

The 6,13-dihydro-6,13-ethanopentacene-15,16-diimine nickel(II) complex was synthesized and characterized. The nickel complex exhibited high activity toward the homopolymerization of norbornene and copolymerization of norbornene with 5-norbornene-2-carboxylic acid methyl ester in the presence of B(C6F5)3. It was observed that the nickel catalyst with large steric hindrance from polycyclic aromatic systems on the backbone was found to exhibit good thermal stability and afford high incorporation of polar monomers in norbornene copolymerization.

An analog of electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) is investigated in a metal-insulator-metal (MIM) waveguide structure consisting of a stub waveguide and a side-coupled cross resonator. The transmission properties of this plasmonic MIM waveguide structure are numerically studied by the finite element method. The results show that there are double EIT-like phenomena as well as multiple EIT-like peaks in the transmission spectra by adding another stub. The transparency windows not only can be manipulated by changing the coupling distance between the stub and the cross resonator and the length of the horizontal and vertical cavity but also show a red shift with the increase of the refractive index n of the medium in the cross resonator. The designed plasmonic MIM waveguide structure is able to serve as a filter with a transmission rate of over 80 % and is easy to detect the refractive index of the filled media in the cross resonator, which indicates the potential applications in filtering and sensing.

Magnetic and electronic properties of S- and N-doped CrO 2 are studied by using the first-principle projector augmented wave potential within the generalized gradient approximation. The optimized lattice constants for CrO 2 agree well with the previous work. With increasing S doping (N doping), the lattice constants of CrO 2− x S x (CrO 2− x N x ) ( x =0.5, 1 and 1.5) all increase (decrease), While these compounds remain the tetragonal structure. CrO 1.5 S 0.5 , CrO 1.5 N 0.5 and CrON compounds remain the half-metallicity, while the band gap is determined by different factors. It is also found that the change of the total magnetic moment with equivalent atom S doping in CrO 2 compound is small except for x =1.

To explore detection and adequacy evaluation of erythrocyte glutathione S transferase (GST) on levels of circulating toxins in hemodialysis patients in Qinhuangdao region in China, this study divided 84 cases of long-term, end-stage hemodialysis patients into 2 groups: one group of 33 cases of adequate hemodialysis (spKt/V ≥ 1.3) and another group of 51 cases of inadequate hemodialysis (spKt/V1.3), according to the urea index value of the unit chamber model (spKt/V). Another 50 cases of subjects found healthy by a physical examination were taken as the control group, and the differences in the related clinical and biochemical indexes of the 3 groups were compared and analyzed. The levels of GST, creatinine, high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), transferrin saturation (TSAT), parathyroid hormone (PTH), interleukin-2,6,8 (IL-2,6,8) and tumor necrosis factor-a (TNF-a) in the hemodialysis group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P0.05), and GST, IL-2, 6, 8, and TNF-a levels in the inadequate hemodialysis group were significantly higher than in the adequate hemodialysis group (P0.05). Pearson's relevant analysis showed that the levels of GST and spKt/V, IL-2, IL-6, IL-8, and TNF-a have a positive correlation (P0.05), and they have no correlation with levels of creatinine, hs-CRP, TSAT, and PHT (P0.05). There were 23 patients with levels of spKt/V ≥ 1.3 after adjusting the dialysis solution for 51 cases of inadequate hemodialysis patients, and the GST level after the adjustment was significantly lower than that before the adjustment, but still higher than that in the adequate dialysis group. This concludes that the maintenance of hemodialysis in patients has certain relevance on spKt/V and associated inflammatory factors. Through the study, it can be determined that GST can effectively respond to adequate hemodialysis, which has a guiding significance on adjusting the blood dialysis solution in clinical practice.
